Why not make blindness do what the word says.? Yeah making the survivor completely blind would be to much but they could use the same effect that happens when you got deep wound and don't mend. The screens goes very dark and cloudet making it hard to see
-
Since I'm a Legion main I know how it feels. Nearly every other killer is better then them
-
Many of these players that leave are killer mains that just can't get themselves to play anymore because being a killer got harder and harder. But because it got so hard many of the remaining killer startet to camp and tunnel because it's the most effective thing to do wich in return brings many survivor mains to leave
-
Don't know about the saves but from a killer perspective pallets feel like you flip a three story building lately. There is a good amount of space between me and the pallet or I'm way to the side of the pallet but I get a bonk on my head

I dont mind proxy, and I dont even mind the odd tunnel but fact is camping is boring af to verse and the idea that your mmr can plummet from it is stupid.
All they have ever teased is BT base kit, that wont stop camping. Even now players wont trade to get people of the hook.
Camping is definitely getting stupid and certainly needs to punish those who do nothing but face camp
And I totally agree with you. Camping sucks and they need to do something but I rather wait for a good solution that works and can't get abused then anything else

If the killer is within 8meters the hook timer is paused.
Honestly its needed, miss matched lobby (pairing me with new players) and camping is the worst experiences in this game
That's a big no. They already teste that and survivor where the ones that killed that idea because they instantly began to abuse it.
The devs already startet that they are actively working on finding a good way to mitigate face camping (proxy is still fine in there eyes) but there previous attempts show they need to be careful
-
Sure why not and while we're at it let's give bt and DH a once per game activation to because it's really strong when you can use it infinitely
-
All has a counter in Dbd? If you make it so doc can't interrupt u hooks three people bombing the hook looses a counter and it only has two counter atm and these are killer specific
-
I find it quite funny that this challenge exists. No one and there mother likes tunneling but this bhvr is like: here take this challenge that kinda motivates you to tunnel because without nemesis it takes already long enough even without risking the obsession escape because you played nice

Sad but true.
Though I do find it funny and very happy that the new reboot of the series kicked and basically banned the creator from ever working on the reboot and future films. Would love to see the creator's face finding out he is not involved or getting a penny from the reboot.
Also based on new trailer it's gonna be a lot better than that creator could have ever accomplished with his scummy life.
Jeepers Creepers DLC is never going to happen but glad to see Jeepers being reborn without the scum.
What exactly is the problem with the jeepers creepers guy? I love tho movies but didn't even know his name did I need to feel bad for having his stuff in my collection

Considering this is the only multi-player game I've ever received a penalty for due to a power flash BHVR could undoubtedly do better.
Te be fair I don't now another game that gives you a penalty after the first dc

Yes that's totally against the rules. Maybe @MandyTalk can help you out?

I just had a power flash during the first real spring storm of the year and came back to a DC penalty. BHVR you really need to fix the DC penalty system. Getting banned or timed out for things beyond our control is ridiculous to say the least.
But what should they do all the system sees is that the connection to you got lost. The system sees the same if you pull you plug or kill the connection via shortcut
Funfakt my PC came with software installed that can do that. Some pseudo gaming hub stuff. Kinda suspicious
-
No the basement is the killers base. It's the source of its power and a death trap for survivor that's how bhvr designed it
-
Every time I need to sit there and wait till the last second of the collapse for the survs I would like to leave but I also like my BP. And no I refuse to push them out I won't give them the satisfaction to show me there little dance
-
I'm all for reducing the grind the only thing I would like is if the make prestige easier I would like for them to make new cosmetics and lock the old ones. I no many people have this good for you mentality and don't care but I think if it gets way easier I will feel cheater if suddenly every new player has prestige stuff after two weeks of playing
-
Worst thin is getting called a camper on midwich when I would need a 5 minute travel around the globe to not walk by the hook when I want to check the other side of the corridor

You see, I consider myself a survivor main. I love playing against a killer and I get there are some toxic survivors out there but every change is always against survivors. Toolboxes are useless now. Cant even complete 1 gen or get close with a purple toolbox with the best add-ons. Keys are useless now because of endgame. Which I like the idea of endgame. I do. But every game killers take it hostage. They'll slug or camp every survivor. No Way Out makes things worse for survivors going against killers like this. Wraith is now unplayable against. He is too fast. Every time we have wraiths out in the lobbies, we can't drop pallets, vault, etc because our wraith who downed someone across the map and slugged them to chase us down, got to us within not even a minute to knock us down. Literally just happened in a match I had. Not an over exaggeration or anything. Every survivor perk is nerfed. Every killer is buffed. No killer perks are nerfed. And yet every single time Dead By Daylight creators respond to the forums about how survivors are supposedly taking the game hostage or how our perks are too strong. And we have very few counters towards killers at all. I literally just saw a forum against spine chill which is super reasonable cause it doesn't go off easily, its easily missed when not paying attention because there is no sound notification, and at rank 1 the killer has to be like right in arms reach next to you to actually do anything. Please fix the game to give survivors some kind of chance against killers. Do something about killers taking the game hostage. Like even if its where if one person gets downed the other person gets mangled before getting downed as well. That helps a little bit. But the game is too much in favor of killer mains who don't bother practicing or trying different perks (reminder that half of the killers are insta-downs and most of the perks are aura reading or objective blockers) and not even close to fair for survivor mains who actually play the game fair. (Where all of our items are rendered useless and all of our perks are nerfed)
So I try to follow your text and give my opinion to it. I startet playing only survivor but after 100 hours I startet to play only killer and so I have a goog 50/50 Splitt now.
Toolboxes aren't ment to last a whole Gen and push you through it quickly. Not even bnp is designed to for that and that's the best rarity addon. If that where the case you would have 3 out of 5 gens done when the first survs gets downed and that happens right now more often then not anyway.
Keys while being weaker then befor the nerf stil to what they're supposed to do. Before the nerf it was simply to strong that all four survs could leave befor finishing there objectiv.
You say the killer takes the game hostage every time wich would be against the rules and would could be punished but what you discribe is not take the game hostage. If you get slugt or camped the game can end. Holding the game hostage is only when the game can't end like when the killer blocks the last survivor in a corner and goes afk.
What you discribe about slugging and the wraith is exactly how slugging is supposed to be oni for example is designer to do this because his power ends if he picks up a survivor.
Wraith can be a strong killer especially if newer survs face him. But his power falls of as soon as he faces more experienced survs. That goes for many of the killers. As soon as you get better as a killer and face better survivor many killer start to lack power and swf makes it even harder. In high mmr only three killer are really good and can consistently compete. That's three out of 26 so most killer are on the weaker side. And that the biggest problem dbd has swf exist so most killer need to get buffed but at the same time solo q exist and many killers are strong against them.
And you say all survivor perks are nerfed but survivors have some of the most problamatic perks in the game. CoH and DH for example are very strong and are lokked at by the devs because they are to strong. You have many second chance perks that can get you back into the game or out of trouble. Here comes the swf problem again because yes solo q most likely could need some perk buffs but then swf would most likely be an immortal force.
Killer also often face situations that feel incredibly unfair. For example I had one down the doors got opened I managed to get one survivor close to the door down finally hook him after two hooks got sabotage but the other two could just run to the hook and get there friend down because I don't have insta down in general and against that only bubba could have helped. So they come get him down and take turns in prot hits while they run out. No possible way for me to get them.
Dbd needs changes you are right but simply stating killer are to strong is wrong and the same goes for all the people that say the game is survivor sided. I think it is how it is because bhvr struggles to find a good middle ground with solo q swf and the killers
-
@JoaoVanBlizzard said:
What I think it could have is that if the surv was camped on the first hook and the killer was close to this surv he wouldn't enter the struggle , like , time would stop, and for each completed generator it would be boosted too, that would force the killer to come off the hook even though they had generator delay perk
Was already testet got abused by Survivors and got scrapt. Sadly bhvr said many times that often anti face camp ideas get scrapt because sooner or later survs find a way to abuse it

As the title says. I'm hearing so often that the game is low on killers, and I know I personally would play killer more if I had the option to try different killers out in tutorial (against bots) instead of just Trapper. This will enable us to practice and learn their powers, and decide which is right for us. It's difficult trying them out in live mode because often I feel I'm just wasting everyone's time so don't bother. Thanks!
I feel you worst thing is trying out a new killer and getting good survivor with an attitude. But they already state that they don't plan to do something because it would mean a huge load of work because the bots are only programmer to face trapper and no else so they would need to advence the programming every time a new killer comes out

Right, it wouldn't completely pause the timer when the killer is near, it would just slow it down some. By the very nature of the perk, it would only trigger once per survivor, because you only get one struggle phase. Next time you're hooked, you're dead. It would not affect the first phase of the sacrifice process, and would only come into effect once you hit stage 2.
I'm not sure why having other survivors in the area would matter, if the survivors want to sit next to or run around a facecamper facecamping his survivor, that's a bonus for the killer, because the survivors aren't making good use of the extra time the perk provides. Why would having survivors in the proximity be a detriment? Sure, if the timer was completely paused I can see this being an issue, but we're talking an extra 30ish seconds of struggle phase, not an indefinite pause.
Well yeah if it's only once then sure you could scrap the survivor thing. On the other Hand swf will definitely troll you with hanging around just long enough to activate it and the run but technically they lose time with it

@joschmoblo said:
Probably 30-40% or more of the matches I’m in are hook campers, which ruins the game play.
A suggestion I have is this .. if someone is hooked and the killer stays within or lingers close to the hook radius of XX distance for more than XX seconds teleport them to the emptiest part of the map and disable any special abilities for XX seconds. Basically give them a penalty for camping.
I think that is fair and would discourage camping, and encouraging the chase and hunt the way it was meant to be.
No all this would do is make the game easier for swf. I know face camping is frustrating and the devs are already on it. It just needs time to develop something that helps to prevent face camping without hurting the killer when you have legitimate reasons to camp and so that it can't be abused by Survivors. They already testet once to stop the timer when you camp and all that happens was survs instantly figured out that you can loop around the hook like crazy to prevent one from dying while the other two do gens so all the killer could do is giving a free unhook.
@ObservantOfTime said:
Kinship / Camaraderie basekit would be nice. It's a nice perk that punishes facecampers, and gets the team extra time to do gens or attempt a save. It doesn't do anything else besides slow down the timer by 34 seconds if the killer is within 16 meters of you. Though running it always feels like a waste, because the moment I equip it I get normal matches, and don't get any value out of it. Those 30 extra seconds can really make a difference, and it also indirectly lets perceptive players know someone is getting facecamped, by virtue of the slowed-down struggle timer.
Here is why I think this idea is at least worthy of consideration:
- Kinship basekit would not be OP, it only affects the struggle phase timer, doesn't mess with killers powers or abilities
- It doesn't require sweeping changes to existing code
- The code for the mechanic is already in the game
- It could easily be tried out on live servers for a few days or a week
- The Kinship perk itself could still work the way it does now, it would just add additional time, and wouldn't require a change
- It would not affect players who play the game normally, it would simply punish facecampers by wasting their time
- No new additions to the game would be necessary
- It seems like a fair addition from both the killer and survivor perspective
- It's a simple and straightforward buff that doesn't introduce anything new
So, is this a crazy suggestion, or does it seem reasonable? Any thoughts on this?
That doesn't sound so bad if they take care to prevent what I talked about above. So it only triggers once and it doesn't trigger if there are other survivor in the area

It's not a simple requirement. It's ok heres a bloodweb get this to level 50 three times to unlock this cosmetic. However, it will take you 100 hours of playtime plus wait times for a game plus then you have to get the perks you had before you presteuged and then get the rest. Do this on all 48 and increasing characters . Sound simple? Attaboy.
Yeah so it's a difficult /long taking requirement. And take your attaboy ind stick where the sun doesn't shine kiddo all you do is crying that you are to lazy to do what is the set requirement for that reward and want it to be easier/less time consuming because you can't be bothered.

Well maybe update the game to take how many levels youge went past level 50 and apply them to the new level system. I'm sure the game tracks how many levels you've went past level 50 on a character, and if you were like p1 level 15 it could be level 65. You aren't screwing over people who presteiged, you are just changing their level numbers. And they made the mistake of losing all their progress for a cosmetic PEICE, and having to Start from the beginning. That's why presteige us outdated. It's just a gate keep to extend the amount of time you have to play before getting p3 and getting back to where you were and then 100 percenting the perks .
It's not gate keeping. Since when is a simple requirement for getting a reward gate keeping.

listen the first 2 gens are free as a killer YOU CANT EXPECT to 5 gen most of the time the 2 first gen pops when you get the first down
"then there is no reason not to try and secure the kill."
- - yes there is by playing normally you learn to loop and sure if you get a down on me i understand why you camp but i still dont because at the end of the day u hook camped me because you cant chase... And then we can ask ourselves how do we improve at chasing? its simple by chasing and what happens when you hook camp you stop chasing :)
As a killer with roughly 200 hrs I appreciate what you say. And sure I can only get better at chase if I don't camp and chase more but sadly survivor like you who are nice even if they clearly are better are the exception. Most survs we meet are so toxic tbag and click you at every stun and then talk smack at you after the game. So you play and play and after 5 or 10 games you just think screw it the first guy I get dies. I'm not a fan of camping if it's not for strategic reasons but some times you just get tired and want a kill even if it makes myself sad

How is it more difficult to be able to level faster at the beginning with less variety but then get more stuff after you level a character more? Plus level 20 still offers a perk every bloodweb. I wouldn't even care if they made the entity spawn at the beginning of a bloodweb at level 1 / 150. That's just a way to make it easier to not have to spend points kn things you don't want. Presteiging isn't healthy for the game because it gatekeeps completionists and people who want to level their characters by taking away things that they usually need because of how important perks are.
Good no need to discuss this with you further all you say sounds to me like you want stuff without the hardships that come with getting them. Losing your perks and addons when you prestige is what makes it more difficult then what you want. Not that I'm against your idea I think it's a good idea all I say is that I think if they where to make it easier to get p3 I would be kinda mad when they don't lock the prestige stuff we have right now and make other stuff instead. You can call it gate keeping but I think it's a bad move from a gaming company to make content you can unlock by doing x and two years later make it easier because new people want that content but don't want to do x because the new generation of gamer want stuff just handed to them
-

And I don't see the point. This would be the same amount of work without losing all your progress. Legacy ( what you meant by old presteige) was only token away because they remade bloodwebs entirely. Level 10 on those bloodwebs looked like what level 50 is today. This is the same bloodweb just extended and gaining more bloodweb space everytime you get to level 50 again plus the bloody outfit. I don't really think they can make another great item for free like bloody outfits and I think it's a good one to keep. I don't think they can make anymore outfits without degrading it compared to bloody outfits.
So it's another difficulty. Doing it without losing all your stuff is harder then keeping every thing.

Survivor side is at it's worst state. So many oppressive killer perks, killers like Blight not being nerfed or exploits fixed.
It could fixed by adding incentives to stay in the match, add multiple ways to escape (revert the extreme hatch nerf). Repairing 5 gens is impossible most matches.
I literally repaired a gen 3 times in a match the other day. PGTW, Pain Resonance prevented the thing from being fixed. I almost blew a gasket.
Funny how it's the same from the other side. Killer side is also at its worst state. To many very strong survivor perks. Hit and run style basicly dead. If you really want to get going you are literally forced to play one of 2 killers even so we have 26.
And I don't do this to mock you but what you experienced with the Gen I have experienced as a killer to.
I chase the Jake I down him I want to pick up blind. Down him again hook Sabo plus body block plus bad luck with the hooks. I down him yet again flaschbang pallet another blind and as I can see again I see Jake is full health again because boon plus medkit

But those are entirely different things, and to be fair that achievement is too tough. That requires way more commitment than p3 50, In which if getting p3 50 is the same as getting level 150 why not take the better deal? You are trying to make a challenge that would take a long commitment to leveling to level p3 50 .
Oh I didn't mean that as an replacement I just used it as an example. If the current p3 sucks because it's to much to lose you stuff over and over for you I totally get it it is a hassle I was trying to say if they change something they should make new cosmetics and lock the current ones like they did with the old prestige stuff
-
I have one char at p3 and I would fckn hate if they change anything about the system now. Not because I want to gate keep but I did it I leveld the char to 50 three times and I sacrificed my perks and startet new every time. If they make it like last time and the p3 stuff we have no is locked when the new system comes I am fine. I. Mean think about it if there where an achievement for playing 500.games with the same killer without addons and perks so you get an outfit and half a year later new player demand to get the same stuff but want to use perks and bhvr goes with it you would feel #########

1) The game needs to rid itself of this ridiculous notion that the Survivors can decide to "work together, or not"..... that nonsense promotes toxic gameplay. This game DEPENDS on the Survivors working together to escape the horror of a serial killer chasing them. We need to promote UNITY among Survivors, TEAMWORK gameplay... which will create a more action oriented environment (survivors being expected to take protection hits, sacrificing yourself if you haven't been hooked yet, etc...) This will open up a lot of possibilities in regards to new features. We could add new items for the Survivors if they work together, etc. For example, quickly off the top of my head. A new item : Chain Trap. A survivor could equip this item or perk, and be given -1- chain, where they can attach it to the ground in one spot, and then crouch 5~ tiles away while holding the chain to create tension. If the Killer walks over the chain trap while the Survivor has the trap activated, the Killer is stunned and the chain breaks. It could be a way for one Survivor teammate to help another teammate who may be being tunneled, or is on death hook, etc. That's just 30 seconds of thinking, I'm sure paid salary employees can come up with cool new items when the game takes a new direction of promoting FOUR SURVIVORS WORKING TOGETHER to survive the killing field. I am fed up with EVERY SINGLE GAME comes down to 2 final survivors, and then turning into "hide until the other survivor dies first" to take your chances with the hatch.
2) The different statistics should NOT be capped. In fact, none of the stats should be capped. Why is Boldness capped at 8,000 points? This makes no sense. If someone spends all game being tunneled, and running, you cap their points at 8,000? And through no fault of their own, they COULD have had maybe, 16,000 points worth of Boldness. You can't say "Go do a gen" when the killer is choosing to tunnel/chase you. If someone wants to run a Survivor Generator build, and they do 4 gens for the team, why should they only get credit for 8,000 worth of it. Again, this limits playstyles and unfairly robs players of their achievements if they do too much of one thing. The entire points screen needs an overhaul too. On one screen you call an emblem "Lightbringer" and then on another, the same category is called something else.
3) The AFK timer to spawn crows should pause when Survivor enters Killer terror radius. This is specifically to give Survivors more of a chance to do Generators when only one or two survivors are left. A Survivor can try a Generator, sees the Killer coming and runs in a Locker or crouches behind a rock, the Killer comes, and now knows the Survivor is nearby.... so Killer starts to patrol the area looking.... and Survivor has NO CHOICE but to stay still. Except.. AFK Crow triggers because Killer camped the area looking for the Survivor. This is stupid. Right now, Survivors simply give up and wait for the other one to die and then look for hatch. What We want, is to encourage pro-active playstyle from Survivors. More tense cat and mouse situations.
4) Saboteur perk should not trigger a cooldown just for attempting it. The cooldown should only trigger for a successful Sabotage. This opens up some more action oriented feedback between Survivor / Killer, where the Survivor can attempt to Sabotage and bait a swing and miss from Killer. Also opens up more risky behavior for Survivor to attempt to Sabotage. As it is now, simply ATTEMPTING to Sab and cancelling, triggers the long cooldown.
5) I will repeat for the 1,000th time. Nurse design is toxic anti-fun. The Doctor is also toxic anti-fun. And so is Leatherface. Those are the only 3 Killers in DBD that I see that need to be reworked. Nurse, because she breaks "The Chase" portion of DBD, by teleporting through pallets and walls. Doctor because he breaks "The Patrol" portion of DBD, by doing his AoE and easy finding everyone. And Bubba. His kit is too damn strong and needs changes, it's his kit that allows him to facecamp.
I could go on. This game desperately needs attention from people who will consider "FUN FACTOR" (for both sides) when designing everything.
1) yeah I see where your coming from survivor should have more ways and reasons to work together. I don't know if your chain trap is the way to go because I think that would be super strong but the idea is nice.
2) I totally agree with you I think that the cap to this actions is a relict from the early time of Dbd where it made sense to cap something of to make them do different actions.
3) I don't know that would probably lead to games that never end. The killer has no good reason to leave the Gen and without crows the survivor has no good reason to leave the locker so both stand there for eternity till one of them decides he is to bored. Doesn't sound that fun to me.
4) yeah sure I think they could test how it performs and if it's not to strong then sure why not
(most of the times sadly swf is a reason why it works like that i can see it incredibly hard to counter a asbo squad if it only has the cd when fully done)
5) that's a thing I can't agree with you. I exclude bubba here because he is kinda problematic but at the same time he isn't. Nurse and doctor aren't toxic and anti fun is a very subjective thing some people might find it unfun that you can die all together that doesn't mean it needs to change. I think it's a good thing that nurse and doctor are the way they are because the game would be boring if we had only one type of killer both killer have there own counter play doc can even be counter by calm spirit if I remember correctly. Do you want only trapper kind killer you can juke half an hour or so you want more range killer because I see plenty of people saying they are unfun to.

I agree or they could have kept it bugs only and not killswitched Haddionfield setting a new standard it's that simple. You can't disable a map to rework it and not expect people to not question other things that are in fact a problem sure they might not need to Killswitch COH no problem but what about Dead Hard which has been admitted will take months to rework is that not an issue in your eyes? Does that not bring up the question whether it should be killswitched since it's already been lined up for a rework in the next months to year?
Exactly that. All the guys here saying "that's not what the kill switch is for bla bla" don't see this. Bhvr made kill switching stuff that needs a rework a thing not us

I'm aware of the Rumors but if they're doing it to rework a map, whats the difference in using the same system to rework perks its clear why Haddionfield is gone, its one of the worst maps in the game and that's the only reason it was Killswitched for an update, same thing should be applied to COH and Dead Hard; both have been openly deemed problems and even Patrick said it's going to take a long period of time to fix Dead Hard; by that logic it's worthy enough for a complete Killswitch.
That's it it will take a good amount of time to rework them and people wont give them up for that long. They all know sooner or later they are gonna get reworked and they want to use these Problematik perks as long as they can. Ask the same question about noed and the people that say killswitch is not for this situation are going to say noed should be killswitched till rework

On the contrary, it IS possible to detect. It's been done before in other games, and as someone who works in the software development field, I can confirm it's possible and with 99.9% accuracy.
Saying "that technology does not exist" is false and misleading information. It's just a matter of being implemented correctly.
Hey I just say what I know and to my knowledge it's not possible to detect if your game crashed or if you just pulled the plug on you internet

You cannot tell me it can't detect if you hit "Escape, Quit Match, Confirm" or if you lost connection, so your argument is invalid. I have had my game randomly freeze up and kick me 3-5 times in the past few days. With how little players they have rn, and how unstable the servers have become, they need to remove the matchmaking lock until they have more players/stable servers.
That is one thousand percent true if you leave like that I think the game can detect it. I thought more about the game can't detect if you have a crash or if you pull your internet

Some want to win, yes. And some try as hard as possible. On both sides.
Maybe i don´t get camped so extremely often - that may be related to MMR. I also escape a lot of times.
You could not have been caught, then you would not have been camped.
So the fight is to not get caught - see it as if you are hooked your lost.
But also don´t dc or k1ll yourself - that is annoying for your team.
I often thought i lost - got downed and hooked first and tunneled to second - got saved and escaped. These are the moments which feel really great for me.
But don't get downed is just a stupid argument because the game is designed that the killer downs you sooner or later

Can we blame them though?
They can never interact with a Demo except for the rare occasions veteran players pick him and even then it'll be so short that they won't learn anything about him.
BHVR needs to add training mode with bots or smth.
Nah im not blaming them for not knowing how he works or how to play against him but I ran a couple of times into people that seriously got mad at me and wanted to report me

Yeah, that's a good point. However, you'd have to be really lucky to have a pallet right next to a hook, to run to, if he hits you directly with a bottle. Not to mention that the gas slows you down and it's harder to see. But yeah, I see your point.
Yeah my comment was only directed at the idea to remove the cloud when using pinky

Yes, it does happen often. But head shots in FPS games are literally designed to take you out by the devs. Camping is a so-called "strategy" with no gameplay design intended for its purpose.
Devs did mention this that it was never intended to be part of the game, but they can't say it's "wrong" to camp. It should be frowned upon though.
Facecamping is a real plague im all with you on that if you proxi because there is stuff around to check that's fine just standing there is super boring for the jiller himself. Only time I camp is when the doors are open because I think then it's Okey or when I find someone that wants my attention so much he literally begs for it

Camping in and of itself doesn't need a reason. Some people do it cuz it's necessary, others do it to ######### around. You shouldn't cover people's eyes and tell them that it only happens in a specific situation just to create an alibi for them.
The act of camping is literally holding the game hostage of a player who does not have any other means to alleviate the situation, except to wait and die out or hold out for a fellow player to come get them.
FYI: holding a game hostage doesn't point to a specific premise. If a game halts for someone by another person's influence in a negative way, that's LITERALLY holding the game hostage for that person.
But isn't that stuff that happens in many games. Don't want to fight I just thought about my brother who plays a lot of shooter and there it's pretty common to start a round get a head shot and then you spectate the rest of the round waiting for your mates or leave to play the next

Is incredibly unnecessary and should be punished in some way
And when I say punished I don't mean a ban or anything like that, just maybe fewer BPs, de-pip.
You get less BP when slug four people. When they die you get less then a sacrifice and when you hook them all they all die without getting trough the hook states and you get less the hooking every one four times not to mention the BP you lose because you have way less chases and downs

Sometimes I really think sluzzy is just a guy working for another developer and he just trys to spread the wildest ideas in the community to sabotage dbd

Exactly. If killers see 4 flashlights or 4 tool boxes, they'll likely just leave because they know it's not going to be fun. I just think that if all players, survivors and killers retained the agency to choose if they would like to stay in a game or not based on who they're up against before the game starts, you'd get a lot less DCs happening. Also, I didn't mention earlier but the MMR probably plays a huge part in DCs. I rarely DC bc of a certain killer, but the amount of times I've just DC'ed out of rage because a 20 hour default meg slammed a pallet in my face while I was being chased by the killer is phenomenally high lol. Hate to do it, but you just don't want to play in that match anymore at that point, ya know?
I always thought the fact that the killer see the survivors and there items was a try to balance out the 4v1 like oh they all bring flashlite let's bring lightborn or all have a med kit let's bring sloppy. I think we could get rid of seeing the survivors and show just the user names even from the killer I never understood why the name is not shown. You are probably right that it would get rid of a lot dcs but I still fear that it would lead to some killer being just unplayable. As a Legion main i know the paradox of being a bad killer but people just dc cause they don't want to deal with it (is it that bad? I don't play enough surv to see legion often). And yes mmr is bad and is producing a lot of frustration. I wouldn't go so far and dc because of a bad play but it can get really frustrating.

Or or or...and I'm just spitballing here, the killer is just not fun to play against. Like the example I gave above. It's not that the killer is OP, just takes a complete masochist to enjoy it because it's annoying and busted. Do you not play games for fun? You remove the element of fun, people DC and they have every right to do so because they're playing to enjoy themselves. Some of my favorite killers to go against are some of the strongest, Pinhead, Nemesis, Blight, Spirit, etc...They don't have mechanics so heavily dependent on server tick rate and killer latency that makes the whole match feel unfair. Also, que times for survivors is generally 5-10 minutes, so dodging a lobby would only extend this time, but would allow you not to have to be subject to a miserable game that's just unfun. I see nothing wrong with this whatsoever.
But then you not only take away the killers fun you will have certain killers who wait 20 min to play there Favorit killer because the mind of four people need to align to no dodge. But hey your opinion is totally valid and I bet there are more people that share that mind set. But I want to say on the same aspect of facing incredibly annoying stuff I would in return love to know if someone bring CoH or DH because that stuff isn't op but so annoying so I kinda understand your point

That argument makes sense in comparison to Huntress
I think that two Bottles and a longer reload make sense for that addon (maybe get rid of the gas cloud or make it smaller as well... and make it to where you can't switch between the two)
Something like that makes sense for a Iri addon (IMO)
But then make the bottle actual downs the survivor that's the big difference between him and huntres in my mind because if she hits you you go down if he hits you you still have a chance to reach a loop smack a pallet and run

They probably won´t change anything substancial.
Watch Coconuts new video - i also think they will try to push things with new perks and powers away from camping and maybe tunneling. But these will stay strong as it is an immense advantage to get somebody out early.
Maybe they should work on making it not necessari to get one out asap. Sure you still would have campers especially bubba but the whole problem would tune down
