I find it odd most people are saying no because they dont wanna be yelled at by 12 year olds (who shouldn't be playing the game in the first place) rather than focusing on a balance perspective.
The one thing that gives SFW an advantage, regardless of how many players are in the group, is the ability to use 3rd party communication, a mechanic purposefully left out of the game to instill a sense of loneliness. How many people replying to this post thinks this game is scary? Like, really. I do think it's about time we got this mechanic in.
And if you're afraid of being yelled at by children, actual or adult, grow a spine and tell them to shut up.

This spirit hate really just came out of nowhere didnt it?
-
Just switch its rarity with Father's Glasses and MAYBE add make it so Spirit's phasing sound is reduced to 5 meters.
It'll still work the way it does now, but give a little bit more reaction to Gen Grabber Spirit.
-
I've actually seen Protection hits worming fine with WGLF, Mettle however...
-
Sorry mate, you used the wrong incantaion. You got me instead.
*causes chaos among the forums*
-
I had a game where it was a Baby Spirit on Lery's, and I became the obsession(Rancor) after using DS.
I was mid chase when the last gen triggered, and ahe was right behind me. I panicked ran into a locker and she opened the wrong one. I ran off and... DC.
I gelt kinda bad. Especially after making sure nobody broke her totems since they were obviously Haunted Grounds.
-
Not necessarily, but if I see a room full of Blendettes I'm going to presume they're meming.

Removing some effectiveness of a perk is quite different from losing a health state 😉.
If you get injured in the locker, wouldn't Inner Strength negate that since it would take longer to heal than to be injured?
Also, Exposed status effect is coming for healing's wig
-
@Peanits said:
Making it injure survivors would completely negate a perk like Inner Strength and greatly reduce the value of others (i.e. Head On). Other survivors would just stop using them entirely once they know the killer's using it.
Exposed has a bit of a risk, but works better with other perks. It could backfire, but you can also outlast the effects. Maybe making the timer a little longer would help, but making it straight up injure you would discourage people from using lockers entirely (at which point, your perk isn't doing anything).
But doesn't Stridor completely negate Iron Will?
Stake Out negates Ruin
Hangman's negates Breakdown
I'm All Ears negates Quick and Quiet AND Dance With Me.
It's not a rare thing for perks to counter other perks.
-
Tunneling, to me, is when a killer intentionally goes after a survivor regardless of the situation. (Which is why DS is so strong. Simply an obsession in the game can make everyone a DS suspect)
However, downing them and then going off to do something else, is NOT tunneling in my book. A lot of killers intentionally down a DS suspect to waste the survivors time and get rid of DS for the next time they are downed.
-
If I'm havin trouble with my baby boy Legion, I usually go to Hag. But that's usually only when things get REALLY bad.
-
The best, imo, would be a tie between Spirit and Hag. Wraith is really good too!
Worst, will sadly have to be Plague. If she had Blight vomit, it would have been absolutely worth the minimalist design, but sadly it does not.

Distortion: Breathing isn't as big an issue, since this perk is mainly a counter to BBQ, but gaining tokens back is the buff it needs.
Aftercare: It's fine, I don't think it needs a buff personally, since if you're playing right, then you'll never get hooked and it'll work.
Breakdown: That's a nice QOL change.
With Distortion and Aftercare, I did want to find ways to make them just that little bit better.
Distortion though, I made sure to add the "regain tokens" part.

I had an idea of Legion getting a speed boost like wraith after stopping frenzy, the strength of the boost would depends if you had a stabbing spree or not.
It would look goofy as hell because of the stun animation but it's something i tought could be cool, they could always replace the stun by a slowdown which would result in the same thing depending on the value of the initial slow.
*Deja Vu plays during Legion stun*

I think you're overestimating the feedback on the event delay. But let's be honest, was the upcoming patch even stable enough to send out?
How many invisi-Nurses would their have to be before a fix would come in?
I think THAT'S why people are a little miffed. The patch was a little... Undercooked.

Tbh he doesn't need his power faster. Legion, once having injured everyone, doesn't use it anymore and is an m1 gamer. Your suggestions are fine, but he needs to have his power basically deleted and restarted.
OR they can bring back old Legion, nerf FMT, keep 115 speed, keep the no DW drain in TR.
That is a big issue with poor ol' Frank (or in my case Joey, cause he's truly best boy), but that does go into rework territory then.
Really I just wanted to brainstorm on what could make Legion's power less of a "Basic Sprint" power.

People often forget Self Care boosts Medkit efficiency by a lot. 20% may not sound like much, but when you're able to get three heals with one box and no charge addons and STILL have the ability to heal yourself, it can really help.
-
The penalty is that you have to be asleep to trigger the traps
-
The game is indeed unbalanced in a lot of ways, but what really peeves me off is the fact that SFW, mainly the communication in SFW teams, is not IN GAME.
The developers are aware it's a thing, they are aware that the communication lind of breaks the game, so if befuddles me that they haven't implimented the voice chat and balanced around it!
-
I play both as equally as I can, but I'm way better with killer than I am survivor.
-
Great perk... But...
Laughs in Ghostface
It sure does annoy survivors when the killer has no TR to trigger Borrowed

Heal yourself on demand at any time
OR
Waste time searching for a chest hoping your teammates don't claim them first, and then heal yourself.
The "Self-care bad" meme has gone for way too long.
That's what I personally think, since I even said that I dont really search boxes. Plus, it onky gaurentees ONE medkit.
-
@PigNRun said:
I would say, despite the upcoming changes to medkits being a(n) (unnecessary) nerf to the perk, Pharmacy is still better than SC.
Only Instaheals were nerfed, Medkits themselves were actually buffed to heal 25% faster
-
@SeducedByDaemonette said:
Neither . Honestly if you want strong heal run Botany + Medkit .
So... Pharmacy so I'n able to get that medkit consistently?
-
Im waitin for Bone Daddy Ghostface Mask and hopefully tge WAZZUP on April fools haha
-
I thought it was nerfed to this so that it could be countered in the first place?
-
Having to hit the space bar for DS BEFORE it gets to the skillcheck.
-
While I use Ruin more often, I like using Thrilling for its multi use. If Ruin gets cleansed, I at least have that to fall back on WHILE being able to track which gen is getting done.
-
@Trwth said:
Honestly, this sounds great! The second part of the perk seems to contradict itself though. You would want people to be in your Terror Radius if the skill checks are inaudible only then, so reducing the Terror Radius is really unnecessary. Otherwise, you’ve got yourself a wonderful perk!
I thought if there were stacking TR increasers, it might make a legitamate "No Skill Checks" build, which would be a little annoying on smaller maps. (Granite most of the maps are the size of Texas)
-
Almost like that's why she got nerfed to need an Untra Rare Addon to do track blood.

They weren't expecting snow when they readied up it seems.
Also, I tend to have an urge to go easier on Ormond, as I feel Legion would feel nostalgia for the place.
I personally dont really like Ormond. Just a wierdly designed map.
I'd like Yamaoka, if it wasn't the size of Alaska.
Farm maps can die.
Autohaven, oddly enough, I dont despise.
I like The Game, but I have to be prepared for it.
Lery's is actually my favoirte map for both sides.
Macmillan needs to erase half of the jungle gyms it has.
Crotus is cool, just has shite totem spots.
Red Forest can die.
Swamp must be multiplied in my chances, because I get it way too often.
I like Preschool, but I get it a lot. At least there's variety now.
Haddonfield... Eh. Little too survivor sided.
And I've only played Underground Complex once as killer and a couple times as survivor. From what I played, I like it, I just wanna play more.
Sorry for the wall of text, wanted to just bring out my opinions on the maps.

Are you sure? Yesterday I played a game against a streamer. In the lobby he said "oh this is definitely a 4-man."
I was solo, and another guy was solo too (the other two were very unkind - not in a joking way - because he made a big mistake at the end). At most it was a 2-man group, yet the streamer was convinced it was a 4-man group. In my experience this false assumption is more common than 4-man groups (especially super sweaty ones) by far.
I hardly ever presume full 4 man groups, usually 2-3, but I still find it a little odd they havent balanced around communication yet.
Look BHVR, your "It sets a tone for the game" argument is absolutely invalid now. Let's be honest here, who really thinks this is a horror game and not a competative 4v1 team game?
-
'Cause they have nothing else to do in their loves other than bully some pixels around.
Really tho, one of the richest salt mines I got was when a team of 4 Claudetts went against my Legion on Mount Ormond, and 2 players ended up dcing. I kill them both, and got bitched at for "not even giving the hatch after 2 DC's".
The absolute headassery.
-
I'm actually kind of wondering why we cant see each others rank in the lobby. Survivors can see their own, why cant the killer and vice versa?
-
Whenever I play survivor, I personally DO find enjoyment in being the Gen Jockey... However my perks do not reflect that because chases, mainly winning them, is more important than gens.
Problem is maps can be so big at times that I can do several gens before even coming in contact with the killer. Map design in this game can really hurt the supposed power role.
-
I really do hope they implement an unranked, or Quick Match mode
I just hope they make a matchmaking system that bases your teams on your performance rather than your rank.
-
@Mr_K said:
Don't think players would be any less tryhard in an unranked match.
I would still take it since a rank isnt at risk.
-
There does seem to be a concerning trend with survivors, especially in high ranks, DCing when on their death hook. Kind of an abuse of game mechanics to deny a killer their well deserved points, if you ask me.

If they had bonuses, that'd be pay to win.
I didnt think they'd charge for them in the first place
-
The only thing survivor sided would be the Balanced Landing grate rooms, other than that the map is INCREDIBLY killer sided
(Thank the Lord)
-
Please. This.
-
I love playing Legion, but he is not in a great place right now.
-
"This gane is literally unplayable unless I have an instaheal every match that keeps me from getting downed"
That's you. That's how you sound.
-
I wouldnt mind him having 110% movement speed again, that way they can balance him to actually be a threat around loops... Almost like that's THE THEME OF THIS KILLER? To be relentless, feeling like you're surrounded. I mean yes, his ability is called FERAL FRENZY.
Ugh, rant done, I just want my boy to be buffed.
-
He also needs to vault faster than survivors ffs. Do you know how many times I fail a chase, going 125% movement speed mind you, to a survivor circling a window?
-
Noed Hag is just too fun.
I havent even had noed trigger when I play Hag yet, but I just love watching survivors get triggered by the meer glance at it.
-
Why are you looping a killer that's countered by stealth?
-
I thought they'd provide little bonuses... But I guess not?
So... Tbh they're kinda pointless?
-
Legion should really bw on this list since Frank's Mix Tape and Stab Wound Study are completely pointless.
-
Map Pressure and Lethality, the two things he really lacks right now.
He can stall out a game like nobody's business... But kind of like Plague, if they can do loops without needing to heal, that kind of makes his whole shtick a little pointless. Except unlike Plague, other survivors can heal without benefiting you.
His best build right now is to slow down gens to a grinding halt so survivors are forced to waste time healing or try and do the gen anyway. Thing is, his only downing method is M1ing, and that's not great.
