Dark Devotion, very underrated killer Perk. Especially when paired with Stealth Killers.
-
Sprint Burst is balanced by that fact that it can’t be activated by the push of a button unlike Dead Hard. Getting to choose when your exhaustion perk activates during a chase is much stronger than starting the chase with it immediately.
-
When you’re on the mobile said and nothing has changed. 😉
-
I’m still going to be using it because the balance changes don’t solve what makes it so good. You still can place boons an unlimited amount of times. A couple more seconds of healing time isn’t gonna make it any less powerful against hit & run killers.

I think the Artist get enough stones thrown at her.
😒😒

Personally feel like she’s B tier, her power provides great map pressure and is great at injuring survivors quickly but she does struggle in chase like most M1 killers.

Unfortunately, An unranked mode would:
A.) Split the player-base. Enjoy even longer queue times.
b.) What is to stop a sweaty Killer/Survivor going into unranked queue and destroying everyone with meta perks/slugging?
C.) This would require BHVR to acknowledge there is a problem with their game.
I want a change too, but I don't think this is it.
Simple solution add a match finder in Kill Your Friends and give players the option to make it invite only. This way you can play casual but sweaty players don’t gain anything from it since you don’t get bloodpoints. As for split players base, I think it would be fine in this situation because most players are gonna wanna earn bp playing. Also If you’ve got say like 3 friends in a KYF lobby is probably wouldn’t be too hard fill in those extra spots with random players.
-
But what If I want Buffy? 🥺
-
Demanifesting & Manifesting after securing a successful hit can help during a chase. Try and Teleport to Tv’s nearby after injuring someone to throw them off guard or just abandon the chase to hit someone else through a Tv. The less you have to commit to a chase the better.
-
Hillbilly & Deathslinger were both done dirty imo.

saying hard to say about her but declaring she is not underpowered seems contradicting.
I think you misunderstood what I meant. I merely stated that she’s not bad but it’s hard to say how good she is. As In where does she sit when compared to to other good killers. Is she Nurse good(obviously not) or Demogorgon good? Is what I was saying.
-
Shhhhhh. 😤

That's because she's very overpowered. Adept on first game should be next to impossible.
I think a lot of players just haven’t figured out yet how to counter her. That game I got her adept on no one was removing video tapes which let me teleport wherever I wanted and it was on Midwitch which let me catch ppl off guard.

Theoretically your MMR is different for each of your killers, yes. Theoretically.
Well that would clarify things if that’s the case. It makes sense then seeing as this is everyones first time playing her on live.

Grades are no longer indicative of MMR
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2839607#Comment_2839607
That's a nice opinion--just remember that a killer doesn't have to be good to feel nice.
Twins feel clunky as HFIL to play and they're "monsters at high MMR," so it's good to know that at the very least, Sadako handles well.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t your Killer MMR suppose to be different for each killer or was that changed as well?

He's Low MMR At those ranks Any killer is OP.
Currently in Iridescent ranks for both Killer & Survivor. I wouldn’t consider any killer OP aside from maybe Blight. Lol
-
Switch Updates are usually a few hours later, until I missed something.
-
Those buffs she got are pretty moderate. You can’t really say that they’re underwhelming when we haven’t even seen how effective they are yet. Being a 4.6 movement speed killer with a 24 meter terror radius is gonna make her really good at the start of a chase. She might be the best killer to run Monitor & Abuse on now.
-
I feel like certain Exhaustion Perks should have different cooldowns, more situational ones like BL should have like a 60/45/30 second cooldown while other like Sprint Burst & Dead Hard should remain at 60/50/40.
-
Yes, I got 3.7 million bloodpoints ready to prestige 3 Sadako. 😃

I´d prefer if they solved the core issue thats the cause behind your 5 minute queues.
It seems like they’re already tackling that.

Wouldn't be surprised, all I ever seem to get is rotten fields. 🤢

Currently sitting at 3.8 million and that’s not including the few dozen unclaimed tomb rewards. I want Sadako t3 day 1. 😅

For most of the day, SBMM simply does not function. Just pretend it doesn’t exist because it effectively doesn’t - your matchmaking will be completely random. Most of the time there are too few killers for matchmaking to work without queues taking forever. BHVR has told us that SBMM will prioritize queue times over fair matchmaking.
So then what's the point of SBMM?
-
Old HillyBilly, playing against him was both challenging and fun. Playing against him also helped improve my looping at small-medium loops back when I first started playing.
-
Huntress, Hag, Oni, & Artist I’d say are pretty well balanced. They’re all strong but have some form of counterplay.
-
Basically all cleansing speed buffs & debuffs should apply to blessing speeds. Which makes sense, I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t.
-
I really like the changes they added. However I’m curious if she’s getting a 24 meter terror radius just while demanifested or if that’s base kit. If it’s base kit that would make her the 1st 4.6 movement speed killer with a 24 meter terror radius.

Here's to hoping the Twins rift will come with some love for the most tragic killers in dbd, both lore-wise and literally.
One can only hope.

"This man is gonna tunnel and/or face camp the 1st survivor he gets."

Tbf, all of his add-ons are pretty bad aside from the increased ranged attack add-ons.

They are. Watch some tournaments and you will see some very good Twins. They're not Blight-level and they have counterplay but it needs a very organized team. Those Twins players win 9/10 of their pub matches.
EDIT: forgot about boons because i don't play them, but yeah they hurt them
And how many of those tournaments banned CoH, the perk that completely shuts the Twins down? We really shouldn't use tournaments as examples for the games balancing.

Only someone who never played against Twins would say "I wish I saw more Twins".
Played against them multiple times and would like to see them more than once every 3 month or so.

Because they're "unfun"
I feel like all I ever hear is "I wish I saw more Twins" or "I've never played against them" the "unfun" aspect of potentially slugging with Victor is also completely countered by circle of healing which is in most games nowadays. I personally love playing against them as it requires me to use a different playstyle compared to most other killers.
-
Easter Skin for the Twins, Victor has a bunny ear headband and Charlotte is in a Easter Festive Dress with Chocolate and Candy hanging off her.
-
Killer: The Twins
The WhoWhatWhenWhere Build
Add-Ons: Silencing Cloth & Forest Stew or Stale Biscuit
Perks: Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion, Hex: Blood Favor, Hex: Third Seal or Hex: Plaything
And Any Indoor Map Offering and watch the survivors panic. My favorite build to run with them. The confusion of Dark Devotion while Victor is already out confuses survivors so much. Plus Silencing Cloth grants Charlotte stealth on command simply by switching back and forth between Victor which really helps.

Yes, Bloodpoints earned in game (that is capped at one million) are a separate pool than the bonus bloodpoints received through things like Rank Reset and bloodpoint codes. So, in theory, if you have 500,000 earned BP, and you are Iridescent 1 Killer and Survivor and get 2 million BP from Rank Reset, you will have a total of 2,500,000 blood points, and will still be able to earn 500,000 in game before you hit the earned BP cap!
Oh cool, thank you for verifying.
-
I'm surprised this isn't even a thing, it's kinda silly that it isn't.
-
Huntress hitboxes screw her over just as much as it does survivors. If your fov is behind a wall it’s most likely latency issue. I believe they tried making the hitbox size smaller a few years ago but reverted because it felt really bad and was too difficult. They probably won’t try adjusting it again unfortunately.
-
Honestly nothing about it is really unfair, in fact I’d go as far to say it’s pretty mediocre outside of gimmicky Blood Warden builds. Personally I don’t think any late game killer perks are worth the perk slot aside from maybe No Way Out. Simply because of how situational they are. At that point in the game if you haven’t killed anyone yet you’ve pretty much already lost unless the survivors get too cocky and get super altruistic at the end.
You’re better off running a Early Game slow down perk or a tracking perk in higher levels of play. As that’s were all the coordinated SWFs are that don’t have a problem taking out NOED and saving their teammates being camped.
So no, noed is by no means unfair or OP. I wouldn’t even recommend using it.
-
Empathy for Survivor so I know who’s in chase, & either BBQ or Spies from the shadows for killer depending on who I’m playing.
Spies from the shadows is kinda underrated imo. Works well with Ranged killers like Huntress.
-
Billy went from being fun & challenging to play against to one of the biggest pushovers. At least Freddy’s rework made him viable.
-
Franklin’s Demise to knock the box out of their hands.

Here is my guide to save as many bloodpoints as possible, while also completing the archives.
Red Line = Collect
Yellow Circle = Save
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CH9NDFEROQXX/sketch-1643214183262.png
Since the game only allows you to hold 1 million bloodpoints at any given time, this is a way to store extra bloodpoints for a later date. This is useful if you want to save bloodpoints for a later event or chapter.
Took me a little time trying to find this path but with some reverse engineering I think I found the best path. Let me know if someone finds one better.
Once Again, I must thank you for doing Gods work! 😁
-
I got really concerned when I saw the title of this post. 😳🤣
-
@Norhc At best they are average. To say that their a top 4 killer when they're power is very punishing(about to be more so) is kinda of a stretch. Hag, Nurse, Spirit, and Huntress are all better and have much easier and more rewarding powers. Just missing once with Victor waste so much more time as oppose to missing hit with most other killers.

I fail to see any picture when killers who are already struggling are getting nerfed. Clown, Nemesis, and Twin nerfs are unwarranted.
