Good thing the devs only make 100% viable killers and not a bunch of ######### ones along with a few good ones.SenzuDuck said:@Spiritbx said:

I've lost count of the number of times I've been playing solo and the killer gets salty as accuses us of being swf.
Tbh they could be asking just because they face a lot of SWF. After every game, no matter how it went, I always ask if the team was SWF when I play Spirit since SWF is all I face.
They don't ask, they straight up accuse. Hell I've seen killers get a 3k and then throw a strop and say we were swf and it was unfair.
They really only will accept a 4k.
You must play mostly survivor. You know, just because survivors throw the game doesnt mean it was fair or fun.
If someone uses a motorcycle in a relay race, but crashes in the end , that doesnt mean it was fair for them to use a motorcycle.
Get bullied by a tryhard swf group and you will see that its just no fun playing against them. From what I've seen, good killers don't get bullied.
Also matchmaking is pretty much useless, putting players that play every day since the begining along with players that are new or only play casually. -
So by reduced cooldown they mean reduced stun time?

Its actually a christmas tradition for the devs to leave the game broken before leaving for the holidays.

Each map has a golden toolbox in it.

Petition to rename "Killer" to "Pipper" Since obviously they aren't supposed to actually kill.

Do you anything but insta-saw Billy at high ranks?
Do you anything but the double purple add-ons for Spirit at high ranks?
Why should Legion be any different?
Why should Legion have more high tier viable option's than any killer but Nurse?Point made, so to make it fair, we lowered survivor action speed greatly, but don't worry, you can use purple toolboxes and addons to be viable again!
I have you have a both purple items AND addons, otherwise it's going to be slower than it was before.
That'show killers have to live, dependent on top tier addons, with no consistant way of getting them since there's no shop to sell all the other 95% of useless addons.

I saw someone do the math and 115% is technically 33% faster in game terms vs 110 killers. Playing Spririt then hopping back to Myers is jarringI don't mean to sound rude but that math seems off.
It's not, you don't MOVE 33% faster, you CATCH UP 33% faster. A chase that would take 60 seconds with a 110 killer takes 115 killers only 40 seconds.
This is why 110 killers are dependent on their powers to shorten that gap.

Hey, at least they made him useless as he came out instead of a week after, now this might be the only DLC I won't buy.
Congrats BHVR you played yourself by being afraid of making good killers.
-
I mean. The game is supposed to be about four independant survivors vs a killer.
Selfishness was kinda meant to be part of the game. Thats why SWF is so OP sometimes.
-
Dont bother, the name says pump shotgun but it has 2 holes to load the shells into, meaning irs not a pump action.
Literally unplayable. -
Playing bad? You realize that the game is balance around 2 survivors escaping right? That means that the gens being done is a normal part of the game, not the killer being bad.Sinner said:Noed is balanced? it rewards the killer for playing bad
-
Could be anything. Bhvr refuses to just have an option to add real numbers like diablo 3 has.
Probably because they would mess that up too... like the LF addons that did nothing for a long time.
-
Its a simple counter to gen rushing.
If you cry that its OP then do totems.
You can sneak around and look for them, the killer has a relatively small chance of finding you while crouching around. -
Maybe have it where she has thw same amount of traps, but she can pick up disarmed traps at the box it dropped at.
Also, refund the trap if a survivor is sacrificed with it on. -
If only in kyf mode then sure otherwise it would break an already broken game.

Another entitled survivor main not realising that bbq is there to reduce tunneling and camping. Hell, it should be part of the base kit for killers.
Or would you like to be camped and tunneled more? -
There IS a penalty though, all the gens get done super fast since theres no pressure.Dabrownman1812 said:
If a killer camps there should be a penalty for just standing there and looking. If the exit gate is open, then fine. If survivor was being a dick, fine. But straight up camping, rip. Don't get caught is true, but being a dick is being a dick. It's not about an honor code, it's about getting better at the game and even when you get swept by survivors, you get swept to learn. If you know it's swf, bring ebony mori.The_Crusader said:No this isn't a thread about buffing him.
Literally every.single.game against the Wraith - without exception - consists of facecamping. That's it. I only started playing last month but it seems he's coming up more since his buff and again - every.single.game is just him putting someone on a hook and then sitting there invisible until someone else comes along.
This is absolutely no fun for the person on the hook, and boring for the rest as they just sit there doing generators unchallenged. That or you get well-meaning people who try to help but just end up giving this toxic player free kills.
I mean I know facecamping is a thing and some killer characters tend to have it more frequent than others cough leatherface cough but seriously with Wraith it has been every single game. At least the Leatherface players occasionally look around a bit too, the Wraith players just sit there invisible and wait.
It's so dull and ruins every single match against him.
Survivors escape, killer gets 1 kill and no points and barely any fun.
This is why i think that BBQ should be part of the base kit for killers, it encourages funner tactics by rewarding you for not tunneling/facecamping, and by giving you something to go for after you hook someone.
On the other side, survivors should get a bonus post game for being camped and for doing gens while someone is being camped.
-
The ONLY OPTION is to put voice chat in the base game and balance around it.
Nothing more simple, nothing more complicated.

Hard camping isn't the sign of a bad killer. Rather it is the sign of an inexperienced one. Just like swarming the hook if the killer is camping is the sign of inexperienced survivors. The way to punish a camping killer is to power down gens. If the killer loses 3 gens camping and 3 more are being worked on when the first survivor dies then the killer is pretty much guaranteed 2 kills at most.By the time the killer finds and catches another survivor then the last 2 gens will pop before he can camp that one to death. The remaining 2 survivors would have time to open the gate and then still attempt a hook rescue if they so choose. This is even with Hex: Ruin. At the end of the game the killer would get 1 or 2 kills, around 6,000 blood points and lose a pip.
That is if survivors properly punish the killer and not be overly altruistic. Don't feed the camping killer and eventually the killer will figure out that camping is not the optimal way to play the game. I blame camping killers on survivors frankly.
Camping is indeed a Survivor-created problem. After all, someone had to make camping worthwhile, and it certainly wasn't the Killers who forced Survivors to feed.
Then what do you call killers who camp when the 3 remaining survivors are all on the other side of the map?
-
If you stick to a gen after a killer kicks it or complete a gen before all 7 gens are at 99%, you are bad you gen camping and tunnel8ng survivor!
-
This means that if you get dropped, crawl away from hooks and you then have a good chance to wiggle free.HeyItsNick123andnea said:@Spiritbx said:
You know that you get an extra like 25 or 30% of you wiggle bar when you get dropped right? No I did not, since i'm a new player, but it doesn't revert what I'm opposing.
See it this way, you arent really supposed to wiggle free, its just there to limit the killer. That way you dont get hooked in the basement. -

-
Or just make it that any damage recieved by either of them is redirected to the rescuer during the iframes.DeadByFlashlight said:@Spiritbx said:
The solution to this is extremely simple. While the person rescued is invulnerable, the other should be exposed. That way if you camp or get unhooked in front of you, you are still better off not tunneling.Too bad that hits get redirected to the invulnerable target too.
And tunneling is necessary if you play against competent survivors (unless you want to depip)
That way you dont get wasted hits as killer and the poor hooked person doesnt get farmed.you could tunnel, you would just have to wait out the 1-2 or w/e seconds of iframes. -
It would only be for a few seconds though. Meant to punish unhooking right in front of the killer without screwing over the hooked person.ToastfaceKilla said:@Spiritbx said:

Read what you said. Thats why survivors are OP with voice comms. The game wasnt that survivor sided before, but then swf with voice comms got popular. This completely broke the fine balance of a 4v1 game.TheLegendDyl4n1 said:@Peasant said:
Dead by Daylight was advertised and marketed as a horror game every step of the way. I find that Self-Care reduces the risk of being injured as I can heal myself should I get away. This makes the killer and the game a whole less scary as my mistakes don't mean nearly as much. So since Self-Care removes the worry, why do we use it? You paid for a horror game, don't you want to be scared?if im in a SWF i dont usually run it since i can tell my friends where to heal me or they can tell me what gen they are on so they can heal me. the problem for me comes down to if i dont run it when i run solo, which is 99% of the time ususally, then i fear i wont be able to find any other teamates before the killer comes around me again and then they will find me due to my crying. this is why i started running No mither, Dead hard or sprint burst, resilience, and Were gonna live forever (when i am done getting points i will switch it for DS but now i am planning on running deliverence)
The game isnt balanced around you always getting healed up, thats what the OP is saying in his post, that it ruins the survival horror aspect of the game.
Not knowing if you can find someone to heal you before the killer finds you is scary and thrilling.
AKA the power of the meta perks and SWF is ruining the initial appeal of the game. -
Its meant to be used as a dedicated healer, someone that runs empathy and saves people and heals them.
I think that should reduce the penalty but reduce the max bonus.
It should also give some extra skill checks at the cost of being much harder as you get stacks. -
If you expect them to body block then you can hit them as soon as they get close.
This wastes their time and usually ends up in a win for the killer.
3 people bodyblocking in coordination is pretty bad though. -
Because survivors dont want a horror game they want a killer bullying simulator.
-
What about survivors that dc before first hook and prevent you from getting points and bbq stack?
S9me people are dicks, devs need to plan accordingly. -
Sounds have been messed with this patch.
Its similar for survivor grunts, they are so quiet for some reason now. -
Probably never since devs love swf.
Plenty of things in the game are ruined by voice chat yet they do nothing to stop or make up for it. -
Rancor doesnt give killers aura reading.
-
Check if its still in your inventory. The end screen likes to lie sometimes...
-
With the nerf they need to buff the speed it takes to get BL.
5 Secs to BL 1, then 15 to BL 2 then 30 to BL 3.
Or maybe all the same, 1 BL every 10 secs.
-
It's a counter to pro-surv obsession perks and a buff to anti-obsession killer perks.
So what if you get moried? they could just hook and camp you anyways since the doors are open.
It's technically a terrible perk since SWF with OP voice chat can relay the killer position every time a gen is done to the whole team.
If you don't want to be moried by the perk, don't run obsession perks and then you will have a less than 1 in 4 chance of being moried.
-
They need to make her able to see blood but on a delay or something, addon would remove said delay.
Alternatively, they could make a whole new footprint mechanic, OR give her predator while ghosting.
It's too hard to track people with the buggy scratch marks.
Also, um did you just reply to yourself? do you need help? Is there someone in your house typing stuff on your computer?
-
No is the r8ght answer here.
Lets take this scenario, obsession loops the killer for like 2-3 minutes with the help
of DS. Finally gets caught. Teammate comes up and dh and they go free.
If the killer ever catches one of these, another survivor comes and dh the killer for another free escape.
Ok now killer is fully aware of what is going on, and so after downing the nexr person he checks the area to see if any survivors are nearby. He finds one.
Oh lool, they ran to a loop spot and now the downed survivor can no mither or get help and heal up by the time the killer catches the person he saw.
All this time 1 or 2 people are on gens, and the gens get done with no progress or hooks made by the killer.
The killer is toyed with and then probably gets harrassed by the toxic survivors in post game chat for being bad despite having no power to ever do anything except hope the survivors mess up.
Sounds like a fun and balanced.time to you? -
I like this idea. How about instead of one shotting you it puts you in a BT state where you will go down after a short time 20 secs. With a cooldown of some kind so its not abused.SadonicShadow said:There is many ideas as a way to nerf selfcare. I originally proposed that we buff the self care healing speed back to normal and then instead of the selfcare being a complete heal it puts you in a no mither state. You dont drop blood, you still limp and your grunts of pain are heavily reduced and you still go down in one hit. This effectively makes it a good enough heal cobbled together with what you find in the environment until you can get proper medical attention.
In addition to that i would buff the selfcare medkit healing efficiency just enough so that you can get 2 full self heals out of a brown medkit. This in effect encourages players to make trade offs. If you want full self heals without other peoples help you need to bring a medkit.
Arent survivors always crying that they are killing stealth? This would actually help stealth, since if you can alude the killer for 10 seconds, you can stealth again since the reduced grunts(80-90 reduction) would not give your position away.
Have it be like rescuing a survivor, if you cancel it, you have to restart it.
Just so survivors dont cry, maybe have it so then when patched up, it takes 25% less time and charhes from medkit to be healed. This means it will actually 5ake less time to heal yourself than with current self care, but you have to use a medkit. -
Try nurse. Instead of having the power to run, you have the power to transcend space.
Also... billys power is just to run with a chainsaw... the Entity sure was cheap on giving him real power compared to some other killers. -
It makes no difference... if you get 15k, you get 30k with bps, with event and bps you get 45k. You are just getting your points later instead of sooner.Vankruze said:@apathytheclown said:
It makes no difference if you use them now or save them.the double bp event is coming soon so yeah it matters if you don't save them. You can be playing for tripple bloodpoints instead of double for any cake you play and you might be able to stack streamers with other players and killer x5 streamers + double bp event = x6 bloodpoint.
-
Implement bbq and chilli as part of the base game.
-
Fake things are useless, no survivor would be fooled since this is a game.
I suggest a secondary power that charges based on people asleep and more if in a chase.
It would charge slowly based on how.many survivors are asleep and would charge faster when he interacts with survivors( hitting, being in a chase, etc.).
Activating the power would give the survivor a nightmare, causing a variety of things to appear at random. Random windows will block and unblock themselves. Random undropped pallets will disappear and reappear for them. Giant claws will move around randomly in the map, if a claw touches the person in the nightmare, they will get injured if healthy or hindered if injured.
This will last for as long as Freddy has charge for his power. The power must be at least half charged to be used.
When Freddy and the survivor are in the nightmare, they become isolated, meaning that they both cannot see or interact with other survivors and survivors in any way, and vice versa.
This would mean that freddy would have to be slowed down to hag speed when not in a nightmare to compensate for extra chase potential. -
BHVR doesn't deal with EAC bans.
-
Ah i just suggested pretty much the same thing on another post..
Stop copying me using your time magic!
Might be a cool thing to add a cleasing kit or something that spawns too. You would need this to cleanse a hex totem, because voodoo or something.
They need to be small crates that are hard to see somewhat, since survivors have 3rd person. -
Have survivors look around for gen parts.
Then they can install it in a gen, and only then can the gen be repaired. There would be an equal amount of parts to gens, no more, no less.
It would give more insentive to be sneaky since being in a chase with a part means that 1 gen cannot be repaired.
-
Console or pc? Rank 20 or rank 1? Vs solo or swf?
Those make literaly all the difference.
