You can like running around and stabbing people all you like. It doesn't make Legion well designed or interesting, no matter how many people share the same viewpoint. Your opinions don't become stronger if more people agree with you.
Legion gets some information on where survivors are after a stab and nothing more. There is nothing they can do that other killers can't do better with add-ons or perks, see Blight's compound add-on, Wraith's all-seeing add-on, Bubba's chassis add-on, Plague's Incense add-on, Nurse's Calling and infectious Fright and probably some more I'm missing.
What do you mean "buy them in the first place"? Legion was not put into the game as they were now. They were able to down survivors with their power and moved at 110% speed. Did you only get them after the re-work?
Killer pick rates are a poor argument to use for why a killer is fine. Using them implies that unless a killer has a low pick rate there's nothing wrong with them, which is obviously wrong. The quote about Legion being the worst thing in the history of video games was sarcastic. Hence the bold lettering and dramatic wording compared to the rest of the post.
People can 4K with every killer in the game at red ranks because the ranking system is terrible. Legion is actually a great example of this. You can, quite literally, just run around the map stabbing people without getting a single down and still rank up. The fact that people can get kills with Legion at all is not a sign that they're a good killer in any aspect and I am fully correct in calling people like you ignorant for saying otherwise.
Let me preface this by saying you're completely free to continue playing and enjoying Legion as they are. My problem is not with how you feel about the killer. But how you defend them with little to no understanding of how a good killer should be designed.
A good killer design is a killer that's enjoyable to play and for a lot of people Legion is exactly that.
Pickrates are a very good estimate imo. If a killer is picked often it means one of two things. Either they are picked because you have a high chance to win with them or they are picked because they are being enjoyed.
Legion is not picked for their phenominal win ratio so they are picked often cause they are enjoyable. And if people are enjoying a killer a complete revamp of their power is the last thing you want to do.

Fast paced? What about getting a free hit where the survivor has almost no counter play and suffering a 4 second stun is fast?
Blight is fast paced. Nurse is fast paced. Legion is not.
Once everybody is injured downs can happen really really fast if you are good at the m1 game.
Sure maybe not against the 10000 combined hour swf deathsquad but you don't face that every match. Against your standert survivor Legion games can be very fast paced.
You only need to mindgame a survivor once. None of that hit them and watch them run miles away.
Also Blight and Nurse take time before you can get to the high speed gameplay. With Legion a basic understanding of mindgames is all you need.
For people like me who only play a couple of games a day Legion is perfect.
-
Not going to lie as a Legion main, I would hate this. May come to a shock to you but quite a lot of people like the run around fast and stab playstyle.
Legion is a information killer who thanks to their short body can pull of mindgames most other killers can only dream of.
And while they could use some buffs and QoL treatments as a whole i like the gameplay of the Legion and I'm not alone.
Also would be way to much work to actually work in game.
Cool idea for another killer maybe but i would rather the Legion stayed like this and never get buffed again then for them to be completly changed and have nothing of what made me buy them in the first place.
Also bassicly in the middle of pick rates so your idea that the Legion is " the worst thing in videogame history" is just straight up wrong.
Calling people ignorant for defending Legion while there are red ranks that can consistantly 4k with them is beyond ironic.
-
Object for survivors and insidious for killer would be my pick
-
Maining Legion.
That said there will always be some survivors who find any killer annoying to face. So bassicly everybody applies
-
All of Plague's perks are amazing but as a killer she's not that good. Imo one of the weaker ones even
Twins is good IF you can get good with them but I haven't been able to make them work and their perks aren't that interresting.
So i would choose plague sollely for her perks. But if you're not interrested in them i would say twins cause running around as Victor atleast is kinda fun
-
Getting multiple stabs in frenzy never gets old
My record chain is 11 stabs

I like how they are, they show your that your actually good at the killer (most of the time)
It shows that you got lucky and got survivors way below your skill level.
In order to get merciless some killers need to stop playing optimal. Chainsaw brothers come to mind who if they get all their downs with their chainsaws don't get merciless. Unless they start avoid hooking people to make the match last longer.

Yeah, I don't understand this debuff thing you guys are talking about. I just see it as that it goes faster when repairing with multiple ppl.
bassicly all actions in this game require a set amount of charges, generators for example take 80 charges and healing 16 charges
one survivor normally works at 1 charge per second. so it will take 1 survivor 80 seconds to reach the 80 charges to finish a gen
When 2 survivors work on the same task they each do it at 0.85 charges per second. so 1.7 charges in total.
Which ofcourse finishes one generator faster then when you are alone but the red bar is there to show that it is not as efficient as if you both were to work on sepperate generators.
So while a single gen goes faster with multiple people. the fastest way to do all of the gens is to do them sepperatly. not only because the killer can only chase one person of a gen but also because you lose less charges per second because you work on the same task. When you hear stories of survivors finishing the gens in 3-4 minutes this is the reason they can do that. because they maximise their charges per second.
On the other hand if you look at the chart i posted earlier you can see that you should almost never work with 4 people on the same generator. there is little to no difference between 3 or 4 survivors working on a gen. and the red bar is there to try to show you that this is a thing. It's not very well explained in game though so i can understand the confusement
-
Because when multiple survivors work on a gen there is a debuff for every single survivor

Legion's power isn't to injure everyone so they become easy downs.
It's to leech as much bloodpoints as possible and still pip even after everyone escaped just to rebel against Momma Entity

I wish you luck and hope you can get the Legion skin! That's how I feel about the Ace one!
Thanks, hope you can get your Ace one too
-
Honestly just make the hatch only spawn when there is only one survivor left or when all gens are done. Not a moment sooner. That would fix all annoyances surrounding keys.
And give the green key some of the addons effects by base.
-
I just play when i have time. I don't make time for it.
It's a hobby, not a commitment
-
Making it more worth it to go for healthy survivors would help a ton more against tunneling rather then DS.
Give survivors a repair speed penalty while injured and a repair speed bonus for every dead survivor and tunneling will become a losing strategy which will make most people drop it
-
All i wanted was the Legion skin and it seems i will be able to get it just in time before it closes.
I really want that knife
That said this was the only rift that had something interresting for me. Yea it's grindy but it is easilly ignored too. The extra bp from the challenges is a godsent though
-
I would instantly buy a child's play chapter. And any skin they release from it
No matter what his power would be or how strong.
-
I only dodge keys occationally.
I want to play a full game not a half one
-
The lunge is kinda wonky sometime but other wise they seem fine
-
LoL skins are infinitive more expensive then the game itself.
Doesn't stop people from buying those skins.
It's optional, if you don't like the price don't buy. Skins are more a way to support the devs then anything else
-
Survivors slowly move on the floor like slugs
Hence slugging
-
Most stealth killers can play around it by looking slightly to the side.
Really sucks for Myers and Ghostface though.
-
It's not about the size of the pp it's how you use it.
If you use DS+unbreakable as the anti tunnel perks then no-one will complain about that.
When you start using it in the killers face with 60 seconds of being untouchable is when people start having a problem.
In short, who cares about some elementary school insult, use what you want
-
The Entity did not get her elektrics diploma but she is trying okay
-
Healing fails against quite a lot of things. Chainsaw brothers, expose perks, ew3 myers, Plague who just says no, Legion who will laugh at all the free pressure you'll give them
It is very strong against some killers but the current meta almost always works, no matter who you are facing
-
I still don't understand how some red ranks don't know you can crouch hag traps.
Crouching all the way to a hooked person for them to just bolt the second they get unhooked which leads to you getting MYC'ed is just awefull
-
Must have been bugged, normally unless specified all stuns count to my knowledge.
I believe even flashlight saves count as a stun as i had the challenge with only 3 stuns and a flashlight save
-
Look to make her more userfriendly and then we can talk about nerfs.
There are like 5 people that devoted their life to master her. Let them have their fun. Most nurses are a complete joke
-
Zero, I learned from playing killer that there really isn't much point and idon't play enough that i can just throw bp away like that.
-
You're crazy. I have not known a single man, woman or beast that hates Shrek

gaming addiction is a real thing
A reason more to take action. When it comes to addictions doing nothing isn't an option. Easy or not.
If you feel you have this then contact a therapist and get diagnosed that will lead to treatment.
I know a former drug addict and i also know that if they didn't went to get treated they wouldn't be here anymore.

if you are not enjoying doing drugs, stop doing drugs...
easier said than done...
I'm sorry but comparing the chemical addiction of drugs to a game is not really right.
Uninstalling it immediately creates a barrier before you can boot it up again and unlike drugs you can play other games to crave your addiction that don't have a negative impact
This year wasen't the best but one thing we didn't have was a lack of good games.
If anything if it feels like drugs to you it's like 17 alarm bells that you've been ignoring for 3 days that you need to stop
-
This game is no different from other games, if you're not enjoying it don't play it.
It's a hobby, not a job. Hades is an absolute gem of a game if you're taking suggestions and relativilly cheap
-
If the survivors use all the strongest tools they have, yes without a shadow of a doubt.
The scales tip back quickly when they don't go all out though
-
The best way imo to deal with DS outside of obviously not excisivelly focusing on one survivor is to either slug and force them to either waste time of a teammate or use up their unbreakabill or take it if they jump in a locker.
You do NOT chase the survivor that just DSed you ofcourse, you're just asking to get genrushed that way. It wouldn't be an anti tunneling perk if you could do that
-
Happy holidays to all and a good end for a good to end year
-
If the twins get nerfed and Charlotte loses collision while dormant I'm specifically blaming you
-
Fun is subjective so trying to change your mind indeed a pointless endeavour.
That said personally i find him fun. I like the change if pace he brings and in my experience stuff like LoS blockers and prethrowing pallets is working just fine.
Sure i won't last minutes against a good slinger but you don't need to. Every second wasted for slinger is almost double as bad as other killers
-
If anything this shows just how insanly hard this game is to balance.
All they did was add a use to WGLF. A buff to picking up slugs. Nobody that i seen predicted these kind of shenanigens would happen.
Say what you want from the devs, but their job isn't easy. There is a reason there aren't a lot of games like this one
-
I would suggest to not give up and force them out. People can taunt yoy like his because you let them. Don't let them.
I know i've had matches where all survivor are alive at the end game and then all died because they didn't leave.
Hell put on bloodwarden and really teach them not to do stuff like this
-
Honestly i kinda agree.
Injured survivors should get a 25ish% decrease in action speed. And for every survivor dead all the others get a 25ish% bonus in action speed.
Fix for both gen rush and tunneling and promotes the 12 hook playstyle that is the most fun if time wasen't that against killers.
Numbers would probably need some tweaking but overall i would really like to test this someday
-
So if the hook on thompsons house get broken survivors can just run up there and be immune against hooking?
No thank you
-
A perk if you get stunned 7-6-5 times your next attack will give the exposed status effect.
This has the exact same issue you're complaining about. It requeres survivors to stun you. And they can get around it by dropping pallets early.
Clearly not as easy to design perks as you thought
-
Honestly that bug a little while back that made it that you heard her while phasing would have been a pretty fair change
-
You can call him whatever you want, Just realise some places have rules against it and if you break those rules you have to face the concequence
-
If you are having trouble hearing the terror radius then perks like spine chill, preminition or perks that activate by being in a terror radius like stake out or pebble can add some visual que's to the terror radius.
Other then that i would advice against sneaking unless you know where the killer is. My best advise would be getting windows of oppertunity if you have Kate. It will help you to always know where a pallet or window is so you know where to go if you get spotted. One of the best solo survivor perks imo.
Other then that Perks that help you keep tab on where the killer is also are pretty good. Alert being probably one of the better ones. Kindred can also be a godsent as you see where the killer goes after a hook and you can see by your teammates behavior if they are being chased or not which also let's you detirmine where the killer is
All in all my biggest suggestion would be to not try to be sneaky at the start of the game. It's when survivors are at their strongest and if you hide and get spotted it usually means a hit for the killer. At the start of the match first find 2-3 good loops that are relativily close and then hop on a gen knowing where to run if the killer comes
"No, I don't immediately run like an idiot and leave scratch marks."
This quote in perticular seems to be your problem. If you stand still and crouch the killer moves towards you at 4.6 (4.4 for some) meters per second. If you run in the opposite direction he moves towards you at 0.6 (0.4 for some) meters per second (survivors run at 4 m/s)
So unless you are sure you can hide from the killer or there are no loops nearby running away from the killer is usually better. especially after you get hit you want to spend all of the speedboost you get running in a straight line away from the killer. Make it a chore to get to you
Despite how it looks sometimes, this is more of a cat and mouse game rather then a stealth game. Stealth has a place in the game but you really want to focus on lasting longer in chase first and being able to remain unseen second
-
It would be cool if every 5 or so bloodwebs after 50 was a bloodweb with only perks
-
Gen rushing is when survivors split up and do the gens by themself. This would be like blood favor where it's teaching the survivor to play right.
Cool name though 👍️ we need more phobia names

Legion is right in the middle of the pack in terms of kill efficiency, even among the best players. There's no way I can construe Legion as "weakest" given the data I have.
Thank you!
