"The worst she can say is no"
Her response:
-
God i hope Chucky
I don't even care how they do it, i just want to play as him
-
Best i would say probably blight. Although it is kinda map dependent
Worst and I'm probably going to get flack for this but Myers. He has to do nothing for a certain time before he becomes a normal killer. Then do nothing some more just to be able to oneshot people.
Legion can get everybody oneshot much easier while also providing slowdown and getting information in the meantime.
So yeah sorry Myers fans. He's fun to play and very iconic. But pure mechanics wise he has very little going for him
-
Go back to patrolling.
Too many times have i stayed with the hook and then have 1 or 2 distant gens pop
Bbq not showing aura's can mean
A) all survivor are close
B) they are hiding their aura behind gens
C) they were in lockers
D) any combination of the above
Choosing to camp can lose you gens, choosing to not camp at most gives survivors a easy unhook.
Honestly if you don't use it for bp bbq is not that good. If you face survivors that know how to play around bbq the information you get is quite inconsistant
-
I would suggest Legion if you want to get good at the m1 game.
They are short and silent so easy to mindgame with. After you used your power it takes one good mindgame to down people and seeing how you have to use m1 to down people you will be set to use any m1 killer in the future and do well.
I would suggest looking up some "how to run tiles" tutorials on youtube. You need to be good at mindgames in order to make Legion work
-
Everything should be tested. You don't want to end up having a deathslinger that can shoot through walls on the new maps right?
-
To think you probably could have had 3 matches against "computer survivors" in that time.
They really aren't that scary.
-
The countermeasure to getting slugged all at once is to avoid getting in the situation where you are slugged all at once.
There is zero reason for this to happen outside of survivors messing up.
-
No that would be horrible.
More interresting question. What if when the 2 gasses overlap they create a chemical explosion that stuns clown and damages survivors if they are inside it
-
I don't know about you people but when i see a meg standing upright completly still staring at me from a distance i get way more chills then any killer gave me
-
They probably have issues with it now breaking kindred's aura limit.
It used to be that it simply did not stack. But now openhanded by base would be greater then kindreds 24m limit so they have to completly rewrite that code
That's my reasoning anyway
-
Well they did mention they were working on dead hard right?
-
Or maybe DS isn't nearly as invincible as people think it is.
Don't get me wrong, it's strong but it has it's counterplays.
Mostly slugging, killers don't slug enough. The fact survivors want to use one of their perk slots to get up once by themself shows how powerfull slugging is.
I rarely get hit by DS. The only time i do is when they jump in a locker. It's strong but not that strong
-
He's quite a bit better i believe.
The antidote is not for traversing the map it's for chases. Get your side of the loop in antidote and the survivors side in tonic and you catch up almost 3 times faster then usuall
It wouldn't surprise me if Clown has no counterplay post start popping up in a month
-
I would say that's hot
But it is in fact not

Cigar Box: Helps survivors even more. Am I missing something here?
If you ever help survivors with the antidote gas it's because you misplaced the gas.
Seeing how you choose when and where the gas comes it will never aid survivors in the hands of a good clown player
-
What's with these necro's lately.
This thread is a half year old. Please be respectfull and give it it's deserved rest
-
I honestly also don't have a problem with DS and i don't even bait it out. I just slug who i expect to have DS and that's that.
If anything DS has teached me how usefull slugging is. The combo is imo extremly overrated.
It's only annoying when survivors who have it use it in your face. But once you realise they are not working on objectives while they do that and you can just ignore them even they are not that problomatic.
That said it is no doubt the most powerfull thing survivors have and a small nerf wouldn't be that bad of an idea. It's just not this unstoppable omega combo a lot of people tell it is imo

Lmfao no it is not. If ruin worked so well why is it hard to imagine that it worked better with other hex perks as well?
Because other hex totems often used tokens and they didn't transfer before the change?
Kinda obvious that new undying works better with token based totems then old undying
-
BBQ and Chilly. the bloodpoints are nice but if you stop using it you quickly realise how little vallue the aura reading has. You are bassicly only running 3 perks if you have bbq
-
" I cannot pin down a stand out survivor perk that I see we’ll say 75% using like bbq."
This proves you're new. Which isn't a bad thing no need to get insulted over it. We are were new at some point.
Bbq is actually on a whole a very weak perk. people only run it for the bp bonus.
To beat BBQ you can
- sit in a locker for 4 seconds after someone's been hooked
- Hide behind a generator, the aura of the generator hides your aura
- Be within 40m of the hook
- Or if all else fails walk 4 seconds in one way and then go the other way
Do one of these simple things and the killer wasted a perk slot
-
Actually like everything depends on the context.
In general yes it's a jerk move.
If said person has been chased all match, is on deathhook and all the other survivors are healthy and haven't been hooked once then the person leading the killer to you is completly right in trying to let the killer aggro on to you and you should have honestly went yourself to take aggro.
Interrupting the objective for 10 seconds to let the killer chase a fresh hook instead of a deathhook is 100% worth it
-
Bassicly hex Undying now is just a copy of another hex. You now have 2 ruin totems, or 2 whatever get's cleansed first
Imo i'm happy with the changes. they nerfed the ruindying combo but made undying work better with almost everything else.
It's a fair change.

Killers don't get to see who has been hooked, that info is only for Survivors.
Lol i thought these numbers were the amount of hookstates but it's just part of the name.
Nvm hate the new HUD

The easiest and best change would be to let the hatch only spawn if either all gens get completed or only 1 survivor is left.
This
Fixes the problem, keys remain usefull in the scenario where you are the last one left and the killer closes the hatch and the achievement remains untouched. best of all it's a simple number change
-
Honestly just make it so all clocks can wake you up instead of just the one furthest away from you would help so much

This post is a year old people

I did it for longer than 10 minutes and still somehow miss them
Ow, well no worries, we all have things we're not so good at.
There are plenty of other perks you can use as survivor. Half of the time killers will just assume you have ds as long as their is a obsession in play so you really don't miss out so much
-
http://www.mistersyms.com/tools/gitgud/
Do this for about 10 minutes and you'll never miss a skillcheck again except maybe against doctor
-
More information is great. I often have troubles remembering who i hooked before.
The layout is a bit all over the place but people will get used to it in like a day. Overal love it
-
I think it's just a static buff. If you are in the cloud and some time after you have 10% bonus movement speed.
Going into a new cloud probably just reaplies the same buff instead of stacking.
Kinda like how multiple mangled status effects just change the duration and not stack the penalty of healing
-
If you can fabricate it that you are going through antidote and the survivors through slowdown gas you catch up almost 3 times faster then a normal 115% killer chases.
In theory it's kinda nuts
-
I mean some as mori probably.
In a hotfix somewhere. If they mentioned they were nerfing keys ahead of time but survivors and killers will come with torch and pitchforks
-
You made the mistake of sitting on the side of the pallet closest to nurse. You know where she was coming from.
If you were on the other side and ran the second you heard the heartbeat she wouldn't have got you. had to go through the stun giving you time to create distance and find los blockers
Nurse is strong but the reason she is S-tier is cause surviors seem to be really clueless against her. The second i saw you kept sitting there even when the nurse was coming towards you i knew what was going to happen.
-
The difference is that with undying you bassicly have 2 ruins.
With ruin+devour hope you only have one ruin.
If you really want to have the ruin effect you'll go with undying
-
Tea bagging and taunts in general have been in games forever. It's just a small jab that does nothing if you choose not to be offended about it.
If you can't take a little taunt then you shouldn't play pvp games.
-
Blight doesn't need any changes, he is performing well
The only change he needs is his pov and that is a bug fix. They don't put bug fixes in developer diaries.
There is still hope Blight will be able to look over a fence next patch
-
Giving it deep wound would ironically fix a lot of the problems.
Something like, When you are unhooked DS activates and you suffer from deep wound status effect. While DS is active and you are hit by a killers attack the next pick up will prompt the skillcheck.
Now survivors can run for as long as they want and have DS. If they do anything else for 20 seconds they go down again without DS
Just a brainstorm i had. Don't take it too serious

That is kind of my point. I am sure they were working on lots of things before Blight. But it feels like new content/ changes always comes before game health. That's just how I see it. What do I know, I am not a game designer at the end.
Blight could still have been fixed. His pov was a bug and they don't mention bug fixes in a developer diary.

My problem is that it's even a possibility, in any capacity. That would be like if Pyramid Head's trails sped him up, but also the survivors. I'm against mechanics in this game that give you as well as your opponents an advantage. It makes no sense.
It's to balance it out. If you can get survivors in the old gas and yourself in the new gas you catch up to them almost 3 times as fast as a normal 115% killer. It's pretty damn nuts. in theory ofcourse

As pointed out in another thread, Clowns speed only goes from 4.6 to 5 metres per second. With only 4 bottles, and probably only having an active effect that lasts as long as tonics (2 seconds when out of the gas AOE), then it’s likely that the 3 second reload is going to cancel out any time saved once every bottle is used to get somewhere.
5.06 actually according to Peanits, it seems to based on your movement speed
So it would be an increased effect if you have other movespeed bonusses in theory
-
I don't understand why so many people think they will throw the speed boost at the survivors. The idea is that you throw between you and the survivor so you get the speedboost and they don't.
If you allow the survivor to get the speed boost you just f'ed up
-
If you are under the effect of the antidote while survivors are under the effect of the normal gas you close the distance almost 3 times faster then normal. How often this happens remain to be seen but in theory it seems quite potent
-
Well Blight pov change would be a bugfix rather then an actual balance change so there is still hope it will happen
-
In theory at loops if you can have your path in antidote and the survivors path in regular gas you close the distance insanly fast
Clown will move at 5,06 m/s and survivors at 3.4 m/s
That's 1,66 m/s gained. Compared to the usual 0.6m/s or the 1 m/s from only tonic that's huge. You catch up almost 3 times as fast as regular chasing. Add play with your food and it becomes even more fun
I predict a lot of loops will just become death zones vs clown
-
Aah nuts i didn't see that you will get reset back to rank 20 every month
Rip me, i don't play enough to go from rank 20 to 1 even if i win all of my matches
Still good change though, happy there is some incentive for ranks
-
It's kind of silly to say this helps survivors. You have controll of where the gas goes.
If you ever throw it where survivors get benifit from it you just misplayed hard
-

Now the clown can help survivors escape faster.
Ammmmmazing!
If you use the gas that speeds up players on the survivors then you deserve to lose.
You obviously throw it only in your path. The change is actually really interresting.
Even at the most basic principle of throwing a slowdown bottle at one side and a speed up bottle on the other side will most likely result in a hit now instead of just a quick pallet
-
Eh it's not that bad. Ruindying took a hit but atleast it can be used with other hex perks now
Devour Undying sounds like fun now
