I just tested it, without a doubt he IS moving faster in Frenzy mode.
Average travel time alongside that house in normal movement is 2.45 Seconds.
Average travel time alongside that house in frenzy movement is 2.05 Seconds
15% of 2.45 is about half a second or so; so even calculating for my trigger time with the stop watch it's absolutely faster and seems to be the correct amount faster.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBD9VV3mnuQ
So in summary, Legion isn't bugged, he just kinda sucks haha.
Good to know he's fixed now but I'm pretty sure he was slower before the hotfix. Even from the survivor pov he was moving slow.
If it's not to much to ask. Could you or someone else see if shadowborn makes a difference.
Maybe Legions fov got spaghetty-coded to their frenzy speed

While mori's were indeed much stronger balance wise. The thing that was complained about keys and mori's was that they are bassicly fun enders.
They end the match before it get's to the climax. Leaving a very disatified feeling.
Now they have bassicly announced that keys will probably get changed relativally soon so people are just spamming them now.
If they announced the mori change 2 weeks before then there also would have been a ton of complaints about the spamming of it.
This is no different

Hey thanks! It’s all over Zoom so it’s basically open notes.
I do have Franklin’s, but I just wanted to play as Mad Grit Pyramid Head (his sword swing is too funny with Mad Grit), I didn’t want to have to worry about keys disappearing or being picked up 😕
Honestly dude if survivors last second switch to keys just alt+f4.
As long as you're still in the lobby you won't have a penalty. I wouldn't normally suggest these things as you won't improve as a player but if they try to sneak in busted things without giving you any chance to prepare then they are asking for it.
-
Lol not i pressume. All i want is the new Legion skin and i feel that I'm running out of time.
And that's with getting lucky and getting most challenges done in a single match.
-
Agree on the nerf was needed and I'm happy i can start bringing mori's without feeling bad about it.
Disagree on the whole whatsaboutism. The game is a single package and every change affect the game on total. Whataboutism completly has a place and is a legit reason to complain. They really should have changed both keys and mori's at the same time.
Now they bassicly unnoficially anounced key changes are coming soon and now it will be spammed for the coming 1-2 months
I haven't had a single game without a key since the update

I just got out of a five minute round against a Legion going beyond Blight speed perpetually, and not only that but seemingly able to see their auras at all times. Bug or cheat? The person playing like this didn’t have any guilt at all about it.
Devs didn't fix Legion in their hotfix
Hacker:
-
The only thing that i really noticed is that survivors are feeling the fire under their heels and are using their keys now before they are nerfed.
I haven't had a single match without a key since the update. Really shows how much survivors were holding back on those

Pop is one of the better perks yeah. And Clown is getting a small rework soon so who knows he might be hella strong in a month or two

Mediocre against good Survivors to me means de-pips at Rank 1.
2 kills and 2 escapes usually equals a de-pip.
Well I and most good killer players do absolutly fine with Legion on red ranks.
Otz got 50 wins in a row with Legion without addons.
Not to mention that Legion is amazing at pipping. If you count pipping as a victory then Legion shoots to S tier.
I have pipped while letting every survivor escape. I don't see how you could depip as legion unless you really got outplayed hard at the early game

On most maps, 30 seconds IS a fast chase. This is assuming the Survivor has DH and isn't in a dead zone.
I would agree with your strat of exploiting the weakest link, but that is kinda what you should do on most Killer's.
Info is worthless without a means to act on it. Killers who rely on M1 hits and mindgames around pallets aren't going to be high on the tier list, which is exactly what Legion is.
I play on Console where FPS drops to 15 whenever Frenzy is used. Additionally, a successful hit with Legion does not equal a down. By saying that, you could also say that getting a hit with ANY Killer equals a down.
Nurse has the POTENTIAL to be broken, which is why she is normally considered top tier. Legion has the potential to stomp bad Survivors and the potential to be mediocre against good one's.
I mean yeah i can't account for fps issues on console as i play on pc
Do note that I'm not saying that Legion is a hidden S tier. I'm saying that he is not bottom of the barrel like a lot of people are saying.
Mediocre against good survivors is what I'm saying

I'm going to disagree.
Legion does function exactly like that at lower Ranks, but once Survivors realize they can play and loop while injured, it doesn't really matter. Even if you have relatively quick chases, let's say 30 seconds, you will still lose.
Trapper, if he three gens, is pretty good.
Pig, well, honestly yeah Pig might also be with Legion in the bottom tier.
Wraith has the same issue as Legion, easy first hits but it's miserable trying to chase someone.
Myers is definitely outdated, but his ability to snowball and ignore health states is good.
Legion, for all intents and purposes, has no power if Survivors do not heal. He eats a longer stun than Nurse for using his power, his power immediately cancels upon a missed swing and he loses his power if he hits a Survivor with a normal attack.
Legion is only good against Survivors who do not know how to play against him.
30 second chases are not quick chases. If someone takes 30 seconds to down an already injured survivor then they are either a bloodlust gamer or the survivor is in such a strong spot that they shouldn't even have bothered and should have frenzied them to find a survivor in a weaker spot.
Legion is a 4v1 killer, not a 1v1. You find the weakest link and you exploit it. If any survivor is on death hook then the next hook means someone is out of the game. Legion doesn't have to care about DS much cause they can just find them after the minute had passed
You can disagree with me but statements like "Legion doesn't have a power when everyone is injured" tells me that disagreement stems from you not knowing how legion is played effectivly. Their power is information based first, then injuring.
Losing your power from a missed frenzy hit is a mood point cause good Legion players don't miss. And a succesfull hit with Legion means you have a down so your power isn't instantly needed (while i do agree that it makes no sense for him to lose power after a succesfull hit)
I'm sorry but if we are putting nurse at the top because 5 people in the world can dominate as her then we can't put Legion at the bottom and point to avarage joe's who are missing frenzy hits and take 30+ seconds to down an injured survivor
An avarage nurse who is missing most of their blinks is bottom tier too
-
Probably thinking the key change will follow soon. It is kinda ridiculous at the moment.
Really shows how much survivors were actually holding back on keys

Does everything need to be such a complex change though? And is rather they do things the simple way, everytime they overcomplicate a change it gets bugged to hell, takes too long to be implemented or isn't a good change In the first place. This is much better. Now if only they could make other simple changes like increasing Wraith's movement speed while cloaked or give trapper 2 traps to carry by default...
Didn't really mean that a simple nerf is a bad thing, i just find it strange that if it's that simple that it took so long. And in a random hotfix instead of a actual (mid)chapter

It is kinda funny how the unfinished version of the killer was stronger then the finished one
-
Have you seen some killers? No wonder they are so needed.
Just look at pantsless Myers
-
I'm pretty sure this community was divided the second the game came out.
It would take some sort of miracle to not have an assymetricals game cummunity being divided
-
It seems to be more of an apology change then an actual thought out change.
They have been talking about changing mori's for a while now and they end up making a very simple change in a hotfix somewhere?
I have a feeling that a mori rework is still coming and this is just a temporary change

Good one, also interesting thing is if survivor reached level 2 on hook would you be able to mori them.
You would think so? Haven't tried it yet. But it probably works like PH mini-mori
-
I'm just a bit surprised it's such a ... simple nerf
They have been talking about changing mori's for a while and just adding a extra hookrequerement does not seem that ... much work i guess is what i'm saying.
I have a feeling this won't be the last change to mori's.
-
The first mori's worked on down
then it was changed so you could only use it after hooking the survivor atleast once.
Now it's after hooking said survivor twice.
The next change will be after hooking a survivor 3 times
-
@Mandy said:
I believe that the speed was never the issue - he was actually the same speed as before but the FOV caused it to look much slower, so there looked like there was no speed increase during Frenzy
Sorry but i'm 99% sure there was a speed decrease. A pure visual illusion would have been pointed out by Legion mains very fast.
-
Was Legion fixed?
-
Mori's are now insurance against DS and a fancy way to get bloodpoints.
Which tbh is good enough for me.i will probably start using them more now

To repeat: that is not what I'm hearing from the half-dozen or so friends who have played the Twins. Every single one has told me as soon as Victor is attached (or has downed a player), they have switched and are on the move. Is it possible some folks are experiencing lag, and that's causing a delay in Charlotte moving?
If Viktor latches on to a survivor you spend a couple of seconds looking at Viktor go ham. That makes it look like you can move sooner then usuall but it's still 3 seconds

Keep in mind survivors don't teleport out of lockers and into a random corner of the map. They have to leave the locker and either hide nearby and hope you can't find them, or leave in such a way that you won't see them.
Or just happen to be in a locker around a loop which they are plenty. I'm not seeing it.
Even if you are able to get them it means the hit was probably delayed 4-10 seconds.
10 seconds are more then 1/5th of a gen if 2 other survivors are working on it.
That said i have not been able to make the twins work for me, at all. so maybe somebody that can play them well doesn't care for this. Pure theoricly though. adding more time to confirm your hit on a killer that was already pretty time inifficient doesn't look so good. And that's assuming you're close enough to even confirm it.
-
@Orion said:

I assumed it was automatic and essentially instantaneous, but even if it's 3 seconds, that's still around 32 meters.
That means inside the terror radius, that's kinda eh tbh
what's the point of being able to be in two places at once if you have to be close or your power becomes very easilly stopped
not to mention that if they have head on they are bassicly immune to you if they are near a locker
-
It stops the dreaded free escape in the endgame with DS. If you hooked them twice before.
Honestly now it's more a fancy bloodpoint boost
-
Well now i will probably start using mori's now, i can finally see the cool kill animations without survivors dcing on loading screen
I can't shake the feeling they just nerfed mori's as a apology for the latest buggy patch though
They have been talking about mori changes for quite a while and it really sounded they were going to do more then just increase the number of required hooks by one.
I feel like they will be changed more in the future
-
Challenge accepted!
done, not rank 1 i know but still

I'm not opposed to it at all and I don't think the OP is either, but nea and legion are already LGBT in my eyes and I feel like people don't even want it for the game itself but just so they can feel better about the lore speaking of it but I just don't see why it should just like why should they have anything that mentions being straight in the lore? I've read most of the lore but I'm not so into it that I would go buy a book on this ######### that's for sure lol and I think that's where this is coming from is people like me who don't care either way but don't understand why it's brought up like a real life issue in a video game, that's the best way I know to put it
The thing is i don't care about LGBT being added into the game. Wether it's added or not doesn't matter to me.
But by definition by not caring it means that i wouldn't be opposed to it and if it makes some people happy, more power to them.
I just don't understand how you can be opposed to something you don't care about.

Explain why they aren't bottom tier?
at 20:10
Going to let someone explain it who can do it better then me.
The biggest problem is that most Legion players are dead set to get all the survivors in a single frenzy and just end up losing their power in front of a healthy survivor.
Instead of getting a frenzy hit against the closer survivors, looking where the others are, ending their power to then walk to the remaining survivors with their power recharged by the time they get there.
Legion is a information killer. You only need to find one survivor to be able to pretty accuratelly detirmine where they all are.
On top of that they are small and make little to no noise so they are among the best to make m1 mindgames with and with everyone injured 1 mindgame is all you need to get a down.
Tbh how people think Legion is worse then Myers while Myers has to stand still and look at survivors to get the same effect that Legion is getting while getting information and stalling the game is mindboggling.
Now don't get me wrong they are nowhere top tier. But there are so many killers that are way worse of then them
-
It's much harder to resque someone from the basement. If the killer is near you are most likely taking a hit trying to get out.
Some killers make better use of it then others ofcourse. A huntress or billy that knows what they are doing are almost always getting another down if they are near a basement resque
-
More of a straight up buff rather the a QoL change but the idea is cool.
Don't think they need it, they are not that weak. People who say they are the weakest killer have no clue what they are talking about.
No where near top tier ofcourse but nowhere near the bottom either
-
Thanks! You learn something new every day

Legion's TR increases by 8 meters whenever he enters Feral Frenzy, so from 32m to 40m.
Source 1: DBD Wiki
Source 2: Am a Legion main
I checked the wiki too to make sure and saw nothing about that.
I could be wrong ofcourse but i don't see it mentioned anywhere
-
I hope they just make it so all alarm clocks can wake you up.
This simple little thing would change so much
-
@AhoyWolf said:
Great, love to see some numbers! But you're forgetting something, Legion's Terror Radius increases by 8 meters while in Feral Frenzy, so all those KI detection add-ons should be +8 meters.
No it's not? Not without any perks or something.
-
I have seen more insidous basement bubba's then i've seen so called god nurses.
Those are the real urban legend around dbd
-
Why not?
If it makes people connect more to a character then why be opposed to that?

Sweet thanks. This is very helpfull

"they went out of their way to save you off the hook"
You mean that thing they're supposed to do anyway? lmao
ok buddy.
Sounds like you don't play solo, or at least have a better experience with it then me.
When you get left hanging a couple times despite the fact that the killer is chasing the obsession on the other side of the map and you have kindred you learn to really appreciate when someone actually comes to save you
-
When you die on first hook cause you didn't get your deliverance trigger or another teammates goes down cause you couldn't heal them in time while you could have had we'll make it then you'll start to see it's not as innocent as just denying a couple of bloodpoints. Quit a few perks work on those unhooks
You can do what you want ofcourse. If you find it funny go for it. But then don't complain that others find it funny to leave you hanging
-
Kindred.
Run it, love it, never unequip it
-
Honestly it' a pretty dumb thing to do.
Quit a lot of perks work on unhooks
Deliverance, WGLF, We'll make it, borrowed time.
All these things are being denied when the person kobi's.
I wouldn't throw a game for it but people seriously need to realise that it's not just a couple of points your taking away. Sometimes it's entire builds that don't work anymore.
If i ever miss out on a deliverance because the person i was going to resque kobied in my face you can bet I'm going to start leaving people on hook too.
Already missed a couple of we'll make it's that would have been a huge gamechanger if the person that i tried to resque decided to test their luck for funsies
-
I tried playing as the twins for the first time today. Going to wait for the hotfix before i play them further.
Having Victor get stuck multiple times each match is making the already hard learning process pretty unfun
-
@Ihatelife said:
Wait what? What's wrong with Legion's power?
Also Legion doesn't get a speed boost in frenzy anymore, he moves at standert 4,6 m/s which makes chaining hits pretty much impossible

Guy, at least 90% of this forum are killers
So? What does that have to do with what i said?
-
Split up and don't instantly go for unhooks
The killer can't slug you all if you're all apart.
This is not a killers behavior issue, but a survivors one. You can't blame the killer for taking advantages for your team's mistakes.
This is one of the biggest problems in this community, everybody (survivors and killers) alwayd wants to put the blame on the other side instead of looking to improve themself
-
I really want to test it out some. On paper and what i have seen in video's it seems really bad.
If a normal lunge could have hit it also consumes a token. And i don't it get's use enough to be worth it.
Again haven't played with it yet so i have no experience with it. It just seems really clunky to use for a very minor benifit.
Hope i prove myself wrong when i play with it though. This idea is pretty neat being the first perk that plays with lunges
