  • How to use this addon

Combine it with iri that resets traps on their own.

Find a cluster of 3 gens close together with not all acces point available. Swamp map is probably best for this

Trap all acces points of the cluster of gens.

Go behind a tree giggling like a little girl.

Laugh hysterically every time a survivor gets trapped.

  • If you phase and and take a few steps back you can look at her booty

Now you know this the real question becomes why play any killer other then spirit

    Oh how could I forget?

Legions Feral Frenzy will trigger it.

On every hit, because there's no cooldown.

    Here's an interresting question though.

Will it also trigger if you hit people already injured or in deep wound? As you aren't actually doing any damage then

  • Well it would be a nice start if it actually only reduced grunt sounds instead of making you completly mute.

Other then that i would say a minute and 30 seconds duration and then it deactivates untill you enter the injured state again ( either from healthy, slug or unhook)

Have it atleast have the cost of healing every now and then

  • So you had one match where BW screwed you over and instead of thinking what you could have done differently you come here to complain.

Just don't open the door when somebody is about to get hooked and instantly leave when the door is open before someone can get hooked.

Something you should do regardlesly of BW being in play or not.

If you die because of BW then that's 100% you or your teams fault.

You will never get better if you refuse to recognise your own mistakes

  • People really be thinking that they just crack their knuckles, smash a keyboard for 5 minutes and that they flawlessly made a dozen changes while spending the rest of the time drinking coffee

  • I just hope the spirit player can hear the phasing moans too.

So you can go one direction and after she moans quickly go the other direction to catch the survivor ofguard between moans.

Kinda like you could with ancient Freddy's flickering

  • Always nice to see somebody enjoying life to the fullest

  • I'm looking forward to it.

Sad Legion isn't among the addon changes but it will be nice that the addons will be clearer.

Changes to perks is all i wanted. I don't even care if the meta will be unchanged.

As long as other options now are atleast somewhat viable.

Hex: blood favor might be really fun on Legion now it triggers on special attacks and without cooldown.

Not gamebustingly good ofcourse but probably pretty fun

More than likely you will have to go for the slug multiple times, because unbreakable is a very popular choice of perk and I didn't have the time in that particular moment to go off to hunt them as they were hiding after the first death, solely for the reason to escape through the hatch. The only reasonable way to go is if you immediately start slugging right off the bat and that is deemed unfair, that's why I try to only slug when given the opportunity at 1 gen left because then I don't get hate mail.

Hatch Spawns at 1 gen left when at least 1 person dies, meaning 3 people can still escape through it even if the game is still going there is no counter to that because gens are easy to complete to that, and it's quite hard to patrol 4 gens instead of just 3.

I mean keys are deemed unfair too. No reason to hold back if they don't.

the saddest part is that the biggest issue of keys can be so easilly fixed by making the hatch only spawn when 5 gens are done or when a single survivor is left.

It's a single number they have to change and keys wouldn't be a big issue anymore and they can work in peace on the big rework

  • There is a bit of counterplay by going for mass slugging.

Hatch doesn't spawn before gens are done if nobody actually dies.

But yes i agree keys are just boring.

Bassicly a legal way to DC. It still ruins the game for anyone left.

  • On a serious note it does look really cool.

A lot of excitting things coming this october

  • Seems like fnaf to me

Fun fact - your math is wrong :) Legion still moves when fatigued at 2.07m/sec :) So survivors gain just under 8 meters UNLESS... fun fact you let them pallet stun you which immediately cancels frenzy with no fatigue. Just under 1,500 matches as Legion - so yeah I will take my experience over your erroneous math :)

Best way to use Frenzy to get a kill?? Beat them to the door/pallet/window - block - cancel Frenzy - attack! :)

People can make excuses or learn/adapt with each killer.

Let me clear: Holding W is a valid tactic just like camping and tunneling is a valid tactic. maybe stop focusing on how others play (killer and survivor alike) and focus on how you play. These idiotic threads about "metas"/tactics being bad/op are just that - idiocy. I don't give af what perks a killer or survivor uses, whether a killer tunnels or camps, whether a survivor holds W, What items survivors bring, what addons killers use, etc etc

Do I think Holding W is as "OP" as a lot of the killer mains on these forums like to portray - LOL No! Do I personally hold W?? If I need to get the killer away from a gen I got chased off - some - so someone else can go on it, but I will just hold W until I can find a good loop to run. I love when killers are so hyper focused on me or another survivor - because I know that we will win the match. As a new killer back in 2016 - I literally had a timer I would set so I did not stay in chase too long - because THAT is the problem with Holding W for killers - failing to recognize when to give up the chase.

I still stand by my point that fan facts are rarely fun.

But fair lol, i did not know the exact movement speed of frenzy fatigue.

    Thanks for sharing

  • @Jasix said:

    Except with:

    Blight - Rush speed = 9.2m/sec

    Nurse - Blinks

    Wraith - Cloaked speed = 6m/sec

    Spirit - Phase walk = 7.04m/sec

    Oni - Demon Dash = 7.82m/sec

    Legion - Frenzy = 5.2m/sec

    Executioner - Ranged

    Deathslinger - Ranged

    Billy - Chainsaw= 9.2m/sec

    Huntress - Ranged

    Bubba - Chainsaw = 5.29m/sec

    Hag - teleports

Clown - Tonic reduces survivor run speed by 5%

Freddy - Teleports AND Dream snare reduces survivor run speed by 15%

    Demogorgon - Shred = 18.4m/sec

    Trickster - Ranged

    Plague - Ranged Corrupt Purge

    Twins - Victor run speed = 6m/sec

    Cenobite - Chains negate sprinting

But yes please tell me how killers have no way to negate holding W :)

    Fun fact 1

during Legion's 4 seconds fatigue the survivor can again gain 16 meters of distance (slightly less as you aren't complety immobile during the fatigue) so it is very much not a good option vs holding w.

    Fun fact 2

    Fun facts are rarely fun

  • Stridor only ups the injured sounds and breathing.

Upping your volume across means you're uppibg thinga like chase music too.

Good luck hearing grunts of pain when doctors pain train chase music is blasting at 167 decibels in your earholes

  • 1) individual killer mmr is a thing.

The difference between Oni, my worst killer and Legion my best killer is almost comical.

The latter gets haddonfield offerings with survivors who know how to optimise every broken loop in that match and the formor gets injured claudettes hiding in a bush surrounded by bloodorbs.

Just because it's not working like you thought it would work does not make it a lie.

    2) bhvr never makes promises.

A very bad trait of this community is that whenever the devs say something the community acta like it's a cross the hearth and hope to die promise.

It's not. They say what they are planning and working on but have zero obligations to you. If they change their mind then they change their mind.

You have the rights to use the game but whatever happens is up to them. Regardless of what they said in the past

  • I feel dbd needs to step away from nerfing things for a while and focus on buffing instead.

It gets really stale if the biggest changes being made are things becoming weaker

  • Dude 2 weeks is nothing.

There hasen't even been a patch yet outside of bug fixes.

Hell it probably takes close to 2 weeks to just approve a patch. Let alone actually make one.

The earliest changes will probably be the mid chapter patch after the next killer. If even that

I understand your point and don't necessarily think that you're wrong, you have a valid opinion. But if they massively overhauled a bunch of perks, do you not feel that within a little while people would make meta builds out of THOSE perks and the problem would just repeat itself?

But as I said though, you're not wrong. There are what, 150 perks in this game? More? Yet you only ever see the same 20 or 30. I feel that we can use more things like "faster running" (for both sides) and less things like "sit in a terror radius for a straight minute so you can throw a distraction pebble".

Yes, there will always be a meta.

But just something different then what it's been for the last year or so would ve nice.

Also preferably i would want the difference between what's meta and what isn't to be smaller.

Right now more often then not if it isn't meta it's straight up bad. You wouldn't see the meta as often if other perks were atleast impactfull

  • Stable but stale.

Things change so slow. I would love to see a patch that gives a mayor overhaul/buff to like 60 perks.

I wouldn't even mind if 10 of them are grossly op and need to be tweeked down a couple of months later.

I just want a bit of chaos in the game. That i can accurately predict what my opponents build is makes it hard to enjoy long sessions of this game.

It's a real shame that a game with so much variaty feels so often the same

  • @lordfart said:

Imagine complaining about survivors running away from you lol. After the DS nerf people really do be reaching

People aren't complaining survivors are running away from them.

They are complaining how utterly effective it is.

There is a big difference between the 2.

That said i don't know how they could nerf it. Except for what they are doing and adding more oblivious effects in the game to deny survivors their headstart.

  • There is a way to opt out of playing against spirit.

    Just don't play dbd

  • A lot of things are long overdue for a buff.

But yes Pig is near the top of that list

No, the terror radius determines that the killer is nearby and possibly approaching. It does nothing to tell you if they're to your right, your left, etc.

Premonition does work against stealth killers. I'm willing to say the lack of use of it probably started that rumor.

And generally, "getting ready to loop"? My playstyle revolves trying to avoid that. So frankly, I can understand why Spine Chill can be better in preparing for a chase. But not for avoiding it.

But to outright say it's "better" than Premonition because of the difference in playstyle is a sign of bias. True, I may be biased towards Premonition, but I am by no means saying that it is god-tier. I'm merely saying that it isn't trash, and wanting to find out why Spine Chill is so widely used more than Premonition in most stealth builds.

Experience tells me that no, Spine Chill does nothing in preventing a chase. It makes the chase easier for the survivor. So by that regard, Premonition and Spine Chill shouldn't be compared because the uses they need to be used in are different.

Thus far, I have not been convinced that Premonition is by any regard, a bad perk.

    Read what i said again.

first of i said usually better. There are certain situations premonition works better then spine chill.

Second yes. The terror radius can help you tell where a killer is coming from.

Explaining it again cause you apperently just skipped it.

The terror radius starts of slow and gets more and more intens the closer you are to a killer. When you are 32m away you will barelly hear it and when you are close it gets really intens.

If you are going towards a killer you close the distance very rapidly and that instensity increases much faster then it would if you where running away from a killer. You can pick up on that and know you are moving towards a killer or away from it

It's not rocket science. You said earlier that people with spine chill don't know arguments. Seems to me you just choose to be oblivious about them.

  • Spine chill is usually just better.

You can detirmen where a killer is coming from thanks to the terror radius. If it gets more intens really fast your closing the distance fast and thus moving to the killer.

After a while you can notice this with just a few steps. And then you bassicly take the only advantage premonition had over spinechill away

Also not sure if this has changed or not but i seem to remember premonition not working against stealth killers.

Also most people just don't hide from the killer and just get in position to loop or hold w and make distance. It doesn't really matter what the exact location is of the killer then. As long as you don't run to them which you can avoid with the terror radius trick mentioned earlier

its stupid to implement DC penality in a game like this with hundreds of bugs and gamebreaking issues which either force you to leave a match by yourself or just boots you out automatically. Game needs to be fixed first for such a feature

In over a 1000 hours i can count the amount of times i absolutly had to leave the game cause of a bug on one hand.

Game has tons of bugs. Gamebreaking ones in my experience very rarely

"Bro you just have to pay 100$ extra each month for some better internet, why should Anyone have to play games with people who have internet that isn't 5G 2 feet away from the router Ethernet cable internet?"- Typical Morons. In all seriousness it seems people forget that not everyone can afford the best internet and some people don't live in cities but still wanna enjoy the game THEY purchased.

If you can't afford or otherwise get stable internet then why are you buying games that specifically need that.

It's like jumping in a river to catch fish by hand and when others come to complain your splashes are scaring away the fishes you then say not everyone can affort a fishing line.

If you can't afford to do a hobby find one you can. Now you are not only annoying yourself with randomly Dcing from your game but everyone who was in the game as well.

Well you may not know how to use it, I do so yes, it is a really good tracking perk.

    It's overrated.

It's not bad by any means but people who say they can automathically find survivors thanks to triangulation are forgetting there are 4 survivors in a trial. It can really mess up the process.

People who praise whispers as the best tracking perk are having a serious case of cognitive bias. Remembering all the times they were able to find the lone survivor in a corner and forgetting all the times whispers misled them.

Especially the fact that it just doesn't work after a hook means it's not that amazing. That's when you need that information the most to be able to use the pressure your hook creates.

Still a pretty decent perk but nowhere near the best tracking perk

nice solution, lets put it in the queue of BHVR things to do: this should be done around by the year 2054

EVERYONE who doesnt see a problem is just using it himself/herself and is to afraid to loosing an advantage.

I mean it is a easier solution then what you are proposing right?

At least it seems that fixing the resolution with black bars or stuff would be easier then adding a hidden object and wall.

And with how this game apperently is so easy to hack. Couldn't they just remove the inviseble wall and get everyone banned?

  • Yes, games don't end before gens are done out of nowhere.

That's the only real issue with keys. Matches ending suddenly.

Probably because it was easier to balance moris out, it was just a value change.

I believe keys need to be completely replaced as a mechanic.

    I hate this excuse.

Keys is just a value change as well.

just change Number of completed Generators = Number of alive Survivors + 1 to Number of completed Generators = 5

With the same exeption of a single survivor. Keys are no longer an issue and they can work on their rework in peace

I have encountered some really nasty builds out there, that don’t require hexes- so I’m definitely not sharing. I had to give it up to the killers for having such a devastating yet unique build. Complete nightmares to go against. I definitely don’t want the masses to catch on. At least with this, you can do totems. But yea, this is definitely a good one. Did y’all make it out lol?

    3 did.

The killer had a bit of a rough start so the perks didn't come online untill there was only 1 gen left to do.

Yeah it's not strong by any means but i thought it was a need interaction

  • I am starting to believe bbq isn't worth running as is now.

Sure double bp and grind is terrible. But the other effects aren't that impactfull.

If any killer is struggling then i would suggest leaving bbq off.

You are kinda handicapping yourself in trade of double bp and sometimes it's just not worth it

  • I wouldn't. I can hide my red stain without needing to ad a status to the survivors.

Also lol apperently quoting someone messes up the language filter

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

Eh, unless I am misunderstanding, this would be a nerf.

4 totems cleansed before it's completly gone instead of 1.

Will never be cleansed before you can actually get stacks

Not to mention masking any other hex perk you might have.

I don't see how this in any way could be a nerf?

    @Bwsted said:

Plaything also reveals the aura of the totem to the affected survivor to prevent the perk from being overbearing. I don't see how you'd make it work for a perk that specifically applies blindness, unless you introduce white auras for totems.

Oblivious is more treatening then Blindness so does it really need the added safeguard plaything has?

As long as two totems are cleansed the biggest danger of the perk would be gone as you would have survivors who can pick up slugs and go for unhooks.

  • The reason why some people play like a "scumbag" is because what scummy is differs so much from person to person that there is no rule to it

If i'm playing on Azarov's resting place and the survivors only did one side of the gens and i have a hook in the middle. Then I'll camp that hook if the rest is on the side without gens. For me that's not scummy, that's tactically sound. I wouldn't get upset over it if it happened to me. So if i don't view it as scummy, there is no reason why i shouldn't do it.

If i notice you respect pallets superhard then i will continue to abuse that and extent loops. If you never check for flashlights or look at a wall then i will save another survivor during pickup. And if it happens 4 times in a match that's in my eyes not me being scummy but you not learning

Now there are ofcourse people who will throw games just to make sure one person doesn't live past their first hook and yes, that's scummy.

But 9/10 scummy is a word people use when they lost and they want to blame it on anything but themself.

  • How i would do the instant mori.

    Start in tier 2 EW

You can't enter tier 3 EW

Greatly increases the amount of evil survivors have.

When a survivor's evil is completly depleted you can mori them by tapping m1 or holding m1 while they are downed (screw you lockers)

Myers tier up theme at the start of the match let survivors know what's up, no more denying the achievement by hopping in a locker and no more getting insta morried because your teammates fed Myer. You only get moried if you let him stalk to long. It's all on you

  • Oof it was so wrong for me.

With survivor it's even worse with how hard it is to double pip and how easilly you can lose pips

Not to mention DC's also screw you out of pips
