More then 1 means 2 or above
-
Not really.
Quality over quantity i say.
Who even wears the crowns the moment the event is over. These mask are so awesome you'll probably see them all the time.
That my main didn't get a cosmetic is a small price to pay for how good they are.
And who knows, maybe next year

As I said it will be helpful for those who want to max everything. The less stuff you want maxed out the further the returns diminish. Given how long we've all waited I was hoping for better.
I don't see how?
With the current system after unlocking a perk you have pray to rngezus to get it in your bloodweb. In this version 50 bloodwebs maximum and you can use the tier 1 on every character. That's including the 30-40 you needed to unlock it in the first place. And the bloodweb favors perks that you already have so getting the higher tiers will be easier too
The way it largely removes the randomness greatly helps those that are only looking for specific things.
If you get to the point where there isn't a big difference between the current and the new version then you didn't really have a grind that needed to be fixed.
There still needs to be some progression system to the game
-
I much prefer this.
How often so you see crown cosmetics outside of the event?
That trickster mask is going to be his best headcosmetic by far for me. I will never remove it

Jesus, do you have a reading comprehension issue? I never said others shouldn't have it. I already said I was glad for those it helps.
As for you second point I don't complain about changes that I don't care about. I'm complaining because I've waited years for a grind reduction only to get something that doesn't reduce my grind. So excuse me for being unhappy about that.
I'm confused
How does it possibly not reduce your grind?
-
New prestige system seems incredible.
If you have everything then 150 bloodwebs is all you need per new character to be up to speed again on every character.
With the current system its more then 5 times that much. Also completely removes the randomness

I truly believe the forums are a bad place for survivor mains. It’s killer dominated and a lot them have serious issues having “normal” discussions about anything related to the survivor experience. There are a few decent people here up for a rational discussion but you’re better going elsewhere to be honest.
Check twitch, YouTube or Reddit, everyone laughs at how bad these forums are
Honestly it's a bad place for everyone.
I'm a killer main mostly and i can't stress enough how much more enjoyable the game has become once i stopped frequently being active on the forums
-
It's not DbD's fault that the community is horrible.
All you needed to do was leave the forums and any other media.
The game is amazing once you leave the negative people behind

When I stopped enjoying the game, I also stop playing it, watching it, and also reading forums about it.
Maybe try it sometime, it really helps
You would think this to be common sense but so many of this community don't get this
-
Kinda a misconception by the community. Survivors are not the powerrole.
They are the stronger side but they are still the numbers role.
1v1 no survivor can beat a killer of equal skill level. They still need teammembers to progress their objective.
The term power role does not mean what most of the community think it means
-
Going to copy paste this from the other post that asked this question. Tldr yes but avoid the community. They are the biggest fun killers. The issues of this game aren't nearly as bad if you aren't reminding yourself of them constantly
Yes but with a caveat.
Stay away from the community!
Turn off the game chat. Stay the hell away from the forums. Avoid any video's that aren't purelly gameplay. Never read the comments of twitter.
While this game obviously isn't perfect (no game is) and there are still some issues most this community has conditioned itself into hating the game and will do everything to brainwash and gaslight others into hating it as well.
I took a break from DbD and started playing the game before going back to the forums. I really enjoyed the game and felt an immidiate drop in my enjoyment once i started reading the forums again.
This community is drenched in negativity and constantly reading the complaints and issues of this game enlarges them way beyond what they actually are. The negativity will effect you, if you think it won't you are lying to yourself.
DbD is an amazing game if you let it be.

But this would make the perk literally useless.
Why would I bet something as important as healing on complete RNG full of IFS and MAYBES, when I can just... bring self care, heal, done.
It's worse than the nerfed version of CoH and nobody would bring this.
Efficiency
With self care you spend 32 seconds afk in a corner, 40 seconds with mangled.
With this after setting up the boon for 14 seconds you can just work on the gen. If the killer doesn't come you just healed for bassically zero seconds
If the killer does come and you can keep them busy long enough you also healed for zero seconds. If the killer interrupts you with selfcare you wasted time on nothing.
Litteraly useless is not what i would call this. I can see it being worse then current CoH but i think it is a very powerfull effect

I've honestly reached a point where I think Circle of Healing should have just been a healing buff perk (Botany Knowledge for example) and Clairvoyance should have instead been a Boon. These are my ideas:
Boon: Clairvoyance
A boon that reveals the truth.
Press and hold the Active Ability button near a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem.
Soft chimes ring out within a radius of 24 metres.
Survivors inside the Boon Totem's range benefit from the following effects:
The auras of other Survivors, Exit Gate Switches, Generators, Hooks, Chests, and the Hatch within 64 metres are revealed to you.
These effects linger for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the Boon Totem's range.
You can only bless one Totem at a time.
All equipped Boon Perks are active on the same Boon Totem.
Circle of Healing
Increases your Healing speed by +20% for each other Survivor within 4 metres of your location, up to a maximum of +60%.
This effect is also applied to all other Survivors within that range.
Grants 50/75/100% bonus Bloodpoints for Altruism actions.
Circle of Healing does not stack with other instances of itself.
Boom. Clairvoyance is like a cute sibling to Shadow Step and is a great informational perk and Circle of Healing is basically Prove Thyself but for healing and rewards healing together as a group which is easier to deal with/punish as a killer than having survivors spread to the 4 corners of the planet to heal quickly in zones with completed gens.
Lol, i really like that the name circle of healing still makes sense in that version
-
@Warcrafter4 said:
Being able to do 2 actions in this case work on a generator while healing would be absurd.
Remember if its successful you spent 14 seconds to do a 32 second action(Self healing without a medkit) while working on a generator. This nets you a total of 18 seconds time efficency which is higher then even release Circle of Healing.
Plus because it can heal you mid chase unless the killer breaks the chase to break the boon you will generally speaking get a heal off from it mid chase!(assuming its near a generator you're working on)
Also just imagine how often this mid chase healing will go off on multi floor maps were you can have several loops all within the range of the boon. With "The Game" being the worst offender of it.
Circle of Healing is just a mistake as healing on a boon doesn't make sense with their design.
Do note that if you leave the boon area the timer would reset.
Running the killer around for 40 seconds isn't hard. Doing it while staying inside the 24m radius a bit more.
I know when at it's strongest it's still really powerfull but i feel there is a lot more counterplay to it.
It does take 54 seconds of staying in one area before you can get a heal. So if you snuff it you know that for atleast a minute nobody is getting healed by it
-
Spitballing an idea here but what if the time to mend others was reduced?
Now it's 8 seconds, what if it was lets say 4.
Then survivors have the option to do something against the slowdown of mending but give the legion player more easy acces to their power by grouping up.
-
I'll be honest
If i had to choose between the notification or the buff of the slowdown i would choose the slowdown.
Imo thrill is a lot better now then it used to be
-
That was such a wholesome story.
It's good to show the world that yes this is important.
I wish you lot of happiness in your life now
-
Nah fam, the 6 looks like a hook so probably candyman.
They did make that bee pun 2 years ago
-
"The community, especially survivors, is not having a good time against him"
Is there another group that is going against the Legion?
-
Legion update was pretty much perfect for me.
Still the same Legion that i know and love but smoother and more polished.
I couldn't be happier

The forums are only the written expression of what is visually seen taking place in the game. Not coming here to talk about, discuss, and debate the game’s problems doesn’t make them go away.
In fact, I would feel worse not being able to vent the frustrations of the game, and at least find some likeminded players or thinkers. Which is why you’ll find it’s typically the opposite here: people quitting the game, and not the forums.
See i'm not sure about that.
In the time i was playing the game but not on the forums i also had frustrating matches.
After them i just stopped and drew for half an hour to an hour and then i was back to playing the game with zero stress. The frustrating game wasen't even on my mind anymore.
If i went to the forums to vent i would have been showered in negativity and constantly keep that frustrating thing on my mind. To the point that when you play the game again you start looking for that frustrating thing cause you focussed so hard on it.
Every person is different ofcourse and if it helps you that's great but for me atleast that kind of venting would be extremely unhealthy and blow up a minor frustration way out of proportion

That didn't stop dwight-david shippers when at the very least he was connonically bi.
Your ships are a part of your headcannon and that can be whatever you want.
You can still ship whoever you want

I don't think forum affects me negatively atm. It is the game and toxicity that does sometimes.
It is draining.
Have you tried leaving the forums and all other form of media for a while and still play the game.
I didn't think it would effect me wo much either but it makes a pretty big difference

I literally can. I literally main Billy.
Good, then record it and submit it as a bug so something can be done about it.
-
This was either an exploit or it was the strong turning billy gets at the start of his charge. In which case it was your bad for being to close
What you are discribing of billy doing a 180 mid sprint should not be possible.
Boot addons or not.
I would suggest playing some billy matches yourself and seeing if you can replicate it. If you can record it and submit it as a bug
-
Imo sprint burst by a mile.
I don't think Overcome is that good. I honestly think it's among the worst of exhaustion perks.
Not having anything when you are just unhooked and at your weakest is a huge drawback. The fact that it might not trigger at all vs any kind of insta down is a complete turn off.
-
The moment something lives, It is dying.
-
Change the trigger from when a gen is completed to when a gen reaches 90% once per gen like how merciless storm works.
That way it's an information perk that tells you which gen is about to be completed and the survivor has the interresting choice of leaving instantly to be safe or sticking to the gen but then probably having to chase without vaults
-
The scaling is a bit off.
I would never level this beyond the first tier. The extra time is in no way worth giving survivors free hits.
I might use it with bloodwarden in a meme end game build but that's about it
-
While i agree that it should be looked into that the killer has a bit more presence at the start of the game this isn't really a gen time thing.
The game isn't over untill the survivors are out one way or another. How fast the first couple of gens go does not matter as much as you would think.
The mayority of my games is survivors doing the first 3 gens in 90 seconds to then struggle for the last 2 for 10 minutes untill they get out or get sacrificed.
The first couple of gens is just setting the stage. Once you realise that it really doesn't matter as much as you would think it does. Once the pressure ball is rolling gen speed tends to grind to a crawl.
-
It's honestly a really underrated perk.
5% extra movement speed matters a lot. The only buff i would give it is that it doesn't lose stacks unless you hit a survivor.
Losing stacks cause your throwing bottles or traversing the map with a chainsaw really undermines this perk on some killers

Huntress
I'm a magnet for hatchets

Would love D'Vorah in the game

Improbable escape just doesn't have same ring to it
-
Chucky will always be my nr 1 pick
-
No thanks, I like playing Legion.
Full reworks should never happen again. Adding to their current power is good but what they did to Freddy was imo the single worst thing that happened in this game.
Cloaking as survivors or locker teleporting are good powers to give to future killers. No need to delete something people are enjoying for it
-
I'm wondering more how "weinersnitzel" is a word you need to use in a dbd chat
-
I'd rather have it be a bit common.
The mori effect is cool but not really powerfull enough to be so rare
-
I hope she will find succes in whatever she does next.
We'll miss you Queen!
-
I am very happy with the Legion changes. QoL changes will make them a lot smoother and the extra speed will make chaining a lot easier. And the occational down you get from frenzy once every 10 matches will just be fun.
I couldn't have asked for more. They made them more Legion instead of changing everything in hopes of making them more powerfull.
-
Artist changes are also possible as it's the second midchapter after her release
-
Imo it does work as a anti-tunnel perk as those 5 seconds will pretty much ensure you make it to a tile.
Will it make it impossible to tunnel? No, it shouldn't but it will give you a fighting chance.
Tunneling is annoying cause there is often nothing you can do. Once you are able to make it to defences i don't concider it unfair anymore.
It stops the unfairness part of tunneling. And that's all it needs to do
