It's kinda weird as it just incourages more bleed outs.
Like if i carry a survivor and 2 survivore come bodyblock forcing me to drop the survivor why would i ever pick them back up. If they are the last survivor it just becomes a case of letting them bleed out

I literally showed with numbers how his stealth is fine.
TR has nothing to do with being seen, no TR doesn't make you invisible. As I've shown with numbers from the game its only 2 seconds of hearing him before you're hit. Since that's not enough time to do anything and you're going to get hit, its stealth since you're surprising your opponent to the point they cant do anything about getting hit in any realistic setting.
"And yes I am always adding "from my own experience" because I'm not a narcissist who thinks he is always right.:" It has nothing to do with being a narcists, you experience just doesn't change how the killer works and neither does mine.
"You are just a person who wants to "win" everything and thinks they are always right and others are wrong."
No, I'm a person who uses the data available and doesn't argue with "in my experience" to act like that makes me right when that's inherently biased. Not once have I said "in my experience" because that's not going to change anything about the point at hand. You're not going to prove anyone wrong with "in my experience". I could easily say "in my experience Myers has the best stealth in the game", that doesn't make it right and now we're just cancelling each other out. That's why you need to use actual facts in your arguments and logic things out and not just yell "I disagree because feelings".
You're just someone who argues with feelings and plays the victim card and resorts to personal attacks once you can't support your argument anymore and get called out for arguing with your feelings and experience solely with no supporting facts. Have a nice day.
2 seconds is more then enough time most of the time.
Sure not to hold w to a loop half a map away but most gens are in tiles. And it does not take 2 seconds to reach the pallet or window.
Not to mention that in a lot of maps the low terror radius is completly irrelevent as you can see him coming.
Tier 1 can also be incredibly detrimental. Once you start facing survivors who know how to deny stalk you are looking at 30 seconds to a minute to become a normal killer
-
Amazing. Good to have you back in the fog
Also that title gave me command and conquer vibes
-
Not much
Change it so the recoil starts slow and increases the more knives you throw rather then reverse so console players can throw 3 knives without recoil screwing them up
That or just remove the recoil
Then maybe let him run at normal speed but that will probably be too much.
Honestly i'm happy with him now and wouldn't care if they never changed him anymore
-
I love playing him.
Nothing is more satisfying then hearing that tink 6 times in a row or hit that final knife just as they turn the corner you predicted they would go.
I'm not very good at him but i do really like playing him
-
How would they have punished the racist otherwise then?
Ban them? So they can buy 1 of the 1000ths to 10000ths free accounts made with epic and bubba, facecamp a couple of claudette's and do it all over again?
People were getting harrased now and they needed an answer now. Removing them ensures it doesn't happen again, simple and effective and no way around it.

The problem is that they changed freddy because waiting 7 seconds to hit people was frustrating, and he was frustrating for new players because of his interaction debuff and invisibility. Bringing old freddy back would bring these issues back so i don't see it a realistic outcome.
Personally what i think they should do is give him a complete add-on pass or another rework. If his add-ons did more things it would make playing as him and against him more interesting. Because as it stands right now his add-ons really don't feel like they do much.
A complete new rework is about the last thing they should do.
Most of ancient Freddies power is easilly fixed by slapping incapacitated during period of falling asleep on the survivors.

It is possible to have both as a toggle option between the old and new power. This was my suggestion in the past, as I didn't want new Freddy mains to go through what I had to endure.
And such idea could prevent that. We know for certain that BHVR still has Old Freddy's files, so they could very easily do that. My suggestion was ignored, obviously, but the idea was there.
But now...I doubt anyone would really care if his current power was gone for good. I haven't seen a fellow Freddy player in ages.
Maybe there are one or two souls in the Fog who would dislike the change. And that might sound bad, I know. But, at this point, I am way to have complaints about his possible return, however flawed it may be.
not going to lie, would love a toggle.
I mean i wouldn't touch the current version of freddy ever but it is nice it would be an option
-
We have 6 year olds that are a meastro on piano and you're surprised one can play dbd well?
-
People will always come to the forums to vent. That's just a rule of humanity at this point.
It's important to realise that the forums are a miniscule part of the community. They do not reprisant the playerbase on a whole.
Hell a lot of the people don't even play the game anymore but still choose to bathe in the negativity here.
Ofcourse they are going to think the game is bad when they read people's vents every single day and never are able to experience the good things the game offers

What about the other counters, though? Like going and cleansing it after it activates, by keeping track of where all the dulls are?
Again not really an option when it comes to facecamping. Especially in solo by the time you realise it's a facecamp you have to focus everything on gens and don't have time to go scavage hunting even if it's just to remember their location.
There is also the case in between it activating and it being cleansed there can always be a survivor that goes down even if you remember the exact location of all dulls. Not really a problem cause adrenaline does something simular but it's still a feelbad moment.
Do want to clarify that i don't think noed is a problem, atleast not a high priority one. I can just understand the psychology behind people hating it.
It's kinda like dead hard how it dangles victory in your face to then rip it away from you. It's not nececarelly op or a problem but it does feel bad
-
2 thing that's off with noed's design.
1) the unpredictability. While yes you can counter noed by cleansing/remembering the spots of all totems, the thing is that's quite a timeconsuming task and every second you spend is a second the killer comes closer to "point of no return pressure"
Cleansing all totems and losing with a single gen left to see killer didn't have noed is just a feelbad.
If noed had something like "survivor scream and reveal their position whenever they cleanse a dull" would buff it while removing that uncertainty
2) sometimes you don't have time to cleanse all totems, specifically with a facecamping killer
-
I am so glad people like you have to wait for a long time before being able to play the game
-
Love those little eyebrows the entity has on the last thing she says
-
The problem lies a bit that it would be kinda hypocritical to change him back now.
People are upset a killer they enjoyed was deleted. But if they just revert the changes then people who are enjoying current Freddy will also get upset that their killer got deleted.
So to be fair they would have to be both in the game. I don't see how they could do that. Outside of slapping a tweaked version of freddy's old power to another killer
-
I think most people agree that it's busted. The only reason it doesn't bring more of an uproar because it's an addon for arguably the weakest killer in the game.
Imo it would be fine if he could only mori survivors who have their evil drained.
So it punishes the ones who feed him and not the one random survivor that sees him for 5 seconds and instantly dies
-
As others said, thrill with other hexes makes blessing take ages.
Nurses calling has also been working decently for me as survivors seem to have dropped shadow step completely.
Dead perk if one madlad does decide to bring it so it's risky
-
Even if you disregard dodging lobbies to find friends. It's not hard to quickly send a friend request to someone to tell them the perks.
There is a reason this was changed in the past.
There is no reason to change it back. Knowing what the killers perk are after a match is not vital information.
It's nice to know but nice to know is not enough reason to change something that could potentialy be abused.
-
For solving the lamant configuration without getting chained you just need to time it right.
The chains always spawn in sets of 3 and will spawn a new one when it's broken by the enviroment.
So just dodge 3 chains and then you can solve the cube without any interruptions baring pinhead himself
-
That's why you always go full hardmode at the start of the game and only slow down after you realise if the survivors are below your level or not.
For example givin the chance i will tunnel you from first to second hook if i know i can do it swiftly. I won't for the dead hook unless i know that i need to.
I will slug at 5 gens if given the chance but i'll also give the chance to recover if i notice i'm crushing to hard.
-
*picture off Buzz telling a sad Woody there are afk pigs everywhere*
-
Pig
Just crouch and roar a couple of times and the survivor will come to you
-
It's not really a bug, wel outside off that the only thing that's great about boil overs "great" height is how exagurated it is.
What probably happened is that you were going down the stairs sideways and boil over jerked you forward.
Now i know that's a real frustrating thing to happen in thas match but looking on the bright side you now found a way to not only counter the swaying of boil over but use it to your advantage.
Turn your body with the sways and boil over will help you reach a hook faster. And once you get used to it, a lot faster.
"The only mistakes you can make are the ones you don't learn from"
-Sun Tzu, probably
-
Forum definitively doesn't reprisent the playerbase on it's whole.
It's mostly concistant of frustrated people venting after a bad match and/or people who have burned out on the game and refuse to admit it using the excuse that it's the game that isn't fun anymore instead of them just naturally losing intrest.
Also a lot of people that don't know how to take a break. An actual break. Not this "stop playing the game but still talking about it everyday on forums" what a lot of people do here.
Most of the playerbase is just enjoying the game

No, an M1 killer is a killer that has to rely on both basic attacks and conventional looping. If a killer has a means to avoid either of those, they're not an M1 killer, which I thought was pretty intuitive from the term. Nurse technically uses M1 attacks but she doesn't have to loop, and the opposite is also true- Bubba has to loop but he doesn't have to rely on basic attacks, so he isn't an M1 killer.
Same with Myers. While Tier 3 is active, he has to loop but he doesn't have to rely on basic attacks since he inflicts Exposed as part of his basekit. When he's in Tier 2 he's an M1 killer, but he has a little stealth to help with that and even then you can catch survivors out of position before they can get to a loop and pop your Tier 3.
I straight up have no idea where you got the notion I think instadowns make a killer strong, that's completely disconnected from anything either of us have been talking about. I said instadowns prevent him from being an M1 killer, because they do, and I said that instadowns give him an edge over the actual worst basekit killers, which they do, but I never said anything about them making a killer strong? In case I have to, I'm gonna repeat it here: Myers is not a strong killer. He is in the bottom five killers in the game, he's just not dead last; I'd personally put him at the top of that list, though it's not saying much.
Wouldn't legion also not be a m1 killer with that logic ?
After his frenzy survivors are instant downable simular to exposed so they aren't a m1 killer anymore?
When people talk about m1 killers they mostly mean that those killers have to rely on their basic movement speed to reach the survivor to hit them and not have a ability to enhance movement or hit from a distance or both
Saying Myers isn't a m1 killer cause he can get brief instances of exposed is not really correct.
That would mean that after getting the first hit no killer is a m1 killer anymore cause they all down the survivor from a single hit at that point.
-
He licenced so unlikely
Then again so are pyramid head and ghostface so maybe likely
-
Nothing hurts more then seeing a survivor named "morimedaddymyers" and not playing myers

While I do agree with you here, I don't that last sentence is accurate.
That is definitely not the reason why transparency is unheard of around here. Someone who works in an area that heavily relies on other people's feedback must be able to handle things such as "word twisting".
That is just how it is.
Eh true, i shouldn't have wrote that last part. I need to learn to wait a couple of seconds and rereading before posting stuff
Just get very annoyed by how often this happens. I 100% agree that they have dropped the ball more often then once and definitely deserve a lot of the critisme but a lot of people are taking it a bit to far.

Literally no lmao, Otz tried to teach him DBD months ago but X has always been too ADHD, got bored and has always been a variety streamer.
Litteraly yes.
You ofcourse can't see it anymore cause twitch doesn't remember things that old for some reason but he had streams of dbd 2 years before SC made his video.
Not to mention how heavilly edited it was. In SC video it showed how sad and bullied he was while the actual match was him hard camping and tunneling a player out by 3 minutes to then get angry when one of the better survivors returned the favor.

New account then.
He has twitch streams from years before that video
-
Ow wait now i remember him
SC used him in his video about how bad the new user experience is despite Xqt playing the game for a year when he made that video.
Litterally searched the biggest crybaby and lied about him being new so he could make yet another devs are bad propaganda video.

Boil Over by itself still isn't great. Wiggling free needs to be made a more viable option without needing a full build or multiple factors as it stands. Of course being on console we're so far behind it's not even funny.
No wiggling out does not need to be a more viable option.
If the killer downed you then either you messed up or the killer played well. So you should not get another chance without the help of teammates who will trade hits for your hookstate.
Wiggling is mostly here so it forces the killer to go to a near hook and not make every hook a basement or scourge hook. It's not suppose to be a get out of jail card without giving something in return

Still yesterday it gave nothing. Is that suppose to be or is it a bug?
-
Really glad i wasen't around when this happened.
That's just sick
-
*picture of thanos saying "I don't even know who you are"*
-
Nobody ever said it was.
What was said was that "shots taken lead to goals so you can leave the middle man out and only look at goals for who wins"
And that statement isn't wrong
The only thing that quote shows is that the community has a very poor understanding of how an analogy works. Every single one of them falls apart if you look to deep into it. The hockey part wasen't even remotely relevant to what they were saying
But good job to the people that are always able to twist the devs words whenever they say something. I do wonder why don't communicate with us that much anymore
-
I agree.
People always say how weak Legion is when survivors don't heal against them but atleast Legion still has stall and information when that happens
Stay injured vs myers and their entire power becomes having monitor basekit. Which can be nice on some maps but is worthless on others by how open they are. At the cost of being a weaker m1 killer at the most crucial point in the match.
Imo Legion is better then Myers in pretty much every way barring some busted addons myers has
-
Sorry for this abomination

I think a hacker gave it to me somehow, I do not use add ons and got it after just doing a double blink into a grab.
You don't actually need addons for that achievement
A blink followed by a quick double blink is fast enough to count as 3 blink according to the achievement
-
Love Trickster. On a whole he might not be strong but he just oozes with flavor.
Also hitting a couple of knives when a survivor reaches a high wall loop to then bring them to 1 knife from down on the pallet to then backpedal and throw the final fatal knife that hits them right when they round the corner you predicted them going just feels great.
Has a very setup into chorus into finale kind of feel which really fits his character and while it doesn't happen often just sends chills down my spine with how perfect it is when it does
-
The survivor gets a 25% bonus to their wiggle when you drop them. If that brings it to max they escape.
If you drop the survivor early enough you won't lose them.

Maybe they'll even time their attacks and insta down
you mean how another survivor waits for killer to pick up and blind or drop a pallet while the killer is in the middle of it
Some will do the camping slugging all of the above but others will play the game how you survivor mains want 3 hooking everyone running to the corner as soon as we hook you 👍
Damn
I have no idea how you turned this into a us vs them from me saying how horrible a 2v8 would be.
Is that your default response to everything? Cause that wasen't even remotely relevant to what i was saying
-
I will never understand why people want 2v8.
2 killers working together will beat any survivor no matter what and then can camp the hook with zero hope of getting them off.
How much fun is survivor going to be when all chases boil down to one killer blocks the pallet/window and the other just smacks you. Maybe they'll even time their attacks and insta down you. That's pure m1 killer. Not even concidering all the powers
Sounds simply horrible. Maybe as a mode for kyf so you can play it with friends but i would never touch it with randos
-
Looks like you need flip flop now to make use of the fall effect.
Does prevent the killer from taking a shortcut in shack so this could deny some basement hooks

Freddy.
'Wait no, but Bill' - Freddy.
'No, but...' - Freddy.
Seriously, Freddy has horrible addons, a boring power and terrible perks. He may not be numerically the worst killer in the game, but he feels like the worst killer in the game.
It's sad cause he was the worst killer in the game but atleast he was enjoyable. I really hope they never change a killer that much again
-
I try to but huntress her hatchets are like magnets
Ow you meant lobby, nope i only check the lobby quickly if the ping is allright and then i ready up and alt tab untill the match starts.
Ever since the key nerf there isn't really a reason to dodge lobbies imo
