He really isn't. Huntress got massive map pressure through her axes.

As if you cant avoid it.
I really feel ease against slow killers since they re easier to juke( more time for making your next step)

Like don't get me wrong, Umbra is damn good, but I've gen rushed her in a duo queue before. Granted, Huntress on Ormond sucks, but she, Marth, and Scott have all been gen rushed. And they've all 4k'd in less than 3-4 minutes.

Hell, if you want a good example, ScottJund (while tryharding) barely pipped against Depip squad without perks. If it takes a killer of that caliber to pip against a good perkless survivor squad, there is a goddamn problem.

Ok but that's well over a year old and the games changed massively since then so people need to stop using that as an example. Also @ScottJund has already commented on that video.

You act as if the game was completely different 10 months ago. What did change exactly? Healing nerf? Some less pallets and infinites? What else? Tinkerer got trashed?
If the depip squad played again perkless the result would be pretty much the same.

Referring back to Tru3ta1ent's video, he was playing Nurse to his best ability and the survivors was also playing to their best ability. Usually in most scenarios, these types of games should be a close call since it's an even match up. However, Tru3ta1ent's video was the complete opposite, he was helpless as he couldn't prevent generators from going off despite being as skilled as the survivors. When this happens, something is definitely wrong and a change is necessary due to the fact it wasn't a close call, it was complete domination.

He was playing perkless and addonless Nurseso that negates your argument right there, if he was running a normal 2 blink build and normal addons he wouldn't have struggled versus good players.

All you people using his perkless/addonless challenge videos need to just stop because it's making you look foolish since he's not a good example to use.

I mean look at @Maximus7 who used addons and played to their utmost and granted the survivors made plenty of mistakes but even so he wouldn't have gotten smashed the way Tru did.

There are enough examples with perks and addons aswell, these are just the recent one. Perks on Nurse barely change anything on how fast the gens get done
There re a lot of perks that help nurse to control gens progression. Whispers, bbq, discoordance, surveliance, butcher, agitation, tinkerer. There s more than " find , down , hook, repeat" in killers gameplay. There s also gens control, strategy, prediction of how survivors going to play ,of their location etc.

If you want an example with Nurse, I also have that: https://youtu.be/uVDaaG6_iIE

And here, they somehow don't complete that gen despite three people on it, they heal within Nurse's range, and then get outplayed by blinks. Game effectively ends in less than two minutes. Less opportunity for them to actually outskill here, and I got lucky while also playing pretty damn well, but staying together on a gen vs a killer who can down very quickly is suicide. And staying in her TR (with or without M&A) to heal is a bad idea.
    @powerbats @DwightsLifeMatters @Maximus7

    https://youtu.be/uVDaaG6_iIE
Okay, I'll just use your YouTube video to determine whether or not the killer was good or the survivor was bad.

    Killer's Skill Throughout The Video:
This Nurse knew her blink range and had knew how to lock on to a survivor after a blink! This is a great sign that the killer is really good and knows what they are doing!

    Video: 0:56
Dwight was greedy and tried to repair a generator when the Nurse was in plain sight. This results in a unnecessary hit that could've been avoided.

    Video: 1:07
Meg heals within Nurse's Calling range despite the fact that she knew that the Nurse was in her general area (3rd person PoV and context clues). This results in the first down because of a rookie mistake which shouldn't be made by rank 1 survivors.

    Video: 1:38
Claudette attempts to flashlight save without Iron Will which is a rookie mistake since she assumed that the Nurse couldn't hear her. Therefore, this results in the Nurse hearing her position and causes the Claudette to be the second downed survivor.

    Video: 1:47
Another rookie mistake by TWO survivors healing in Nurse's Calling range. Even if they wasn't in her terror radius, seeing how close the Claudette was downed at should have have gave them a warning to stop healing. Consequently, this results in the David being downed and soon after the Dwight.

That's it, game over in 1:56!

As you can see, the survivors made a ton of mistakes while the killer capitalized on them. Obviously by the video, the survivors had no idea how to play against a Nurse which ultimately led to a 2 minute game. Therefore proves my statement, "If a killer is able to end a game in 2 minutes then something is definitely wrong for the survivor side."

    Summary:
The killer demonstrated great blink technique, great muscle memory, and knew the basic killer mechanics. Furthermore, the killer capitalized on the survivors mistakes with great execution! Therefore, we can conclude that this killer was very good.

One the other hand, the survivors were the complete opposite. They made multiple mistakes as mentioned above which shows that they didn't know what they were doing. Therefore, these survivors are just bad since they made too many mistakes for the Nurse to capitalize on.
Thank you for the compliments! Definitely one of my better killer games. But you are correct, even with M&A, healing that close to someone who got downed is a really bad idea, and part of why this game ends in less than 2 minutes.
    You're welcome!

PSA to Everyone: That's why I think we don't need to nerf things to compensate for one side's lack of skill. It can be because you wasn't playing to your full potential and the 2 minute Nurse video definitely shows that the survivors wasn't playing correctly.

That guy on video wasnt playing smart he didnt pressure gens when he could in summary he played it bad. He played perkless and he still had safety pip i guess?

It just surprises me that there's people who defend all gens being done under 4 minutes. Like, that's absolute bulllshit, it should never happen.

Then use ruin, simple as that.

You should never be forced to use a perk to cover bad game design, that's absolute bulllshit.

But there's no reason to make the base game good enough to not make you need perks. That takes away the whole idea of perks.

Survivors don't need perks but the killer does or else they will get rushed. Like I said before, regardless how bad the killer is, the game shouldn't end in 4 minutes period.

Yes, killers do definetly need perks, but if a player decides to not use perks for whatever reason then the fault is kind of on the person itself that survivors do the objective in 4 minutes. It's their only objective besides unhooking. I usually use thrill of the hunt with ruin and it gives me enough time to apply pressure.

That's not the point, regardless perkless or not a game shouldn't end in 4 minutes. The entire survivor objective system is just flawed, especially when it can be bypassed in 4 minutes.

Now, @powerbats... The twitch thingy isn't working for me right now but I'll @ you when I'm able to see it! :)
So if killer didnt even defend gens ie his objectives gens shouldnt pop up in 4 minute? Really?
Yes, I meant what I said. 4 minutes is just too little of time for the killer to actually do anything, it really blows my mind how 4 minute games is okay with some of you.
Then defend gens . There s no gen rush if you force survivors leave gens. If you dont because you camping or getting ready to tunnel gens are going to get rushed

Leader doesn't affect repair times anymore and Prove Thyself (from my understanding) can only work on one survivor at a time. They can't really "stack" because they boost different things, but you can get the effect of both perks.

Perk description still says it affects repair speed though

You shouldn't just look at match results, you should look at the gameplay that resulted in such a match result.

If survivors play like brainless monkeys, it's obvious that the match will result in a quick 4k.

If the Killer plays like a brainless monkey, it's obvious that the match will result in a quick 0k.

    Those matches are irrelevant.

Find a match where both the Killer and the Survivors had similar skill, similar loadout and both sides made no major mistakes. That's when a match should end in a 2-2.

For example a SWF like the depip squad against everyones favourite ZubatLEL. Make sure he plays ALL Killers for several matches and compare the match results.

That would reflect balance of Killers in a Warlock_2020 said:

    1. Still got 2 kills
    2. Had no perks or addons and still got 2 kills on a gen rush of 4 minutes?! Seriously! That is the story here. You had a good SWF with full goodies rush his gens and he still took out 2 of them without any perks and without any addons.

We are too quick to scream gen rush, but we seem to forget he was running a difficult challenge and still managed to hit the death toll number the developers have said they felt was ideal, 2 kills per match. Perhaps, it shows just how rediculously powerful the nurse is, moresoe than how much gen rush sucks.

That streamer guy  is an idiot there s no gen rush if you pressure gens when survivors dont sit on gens long but he played nurse that is not able to pressure gens ( no addons anything) . And he complains about gen rush lol. Even if you play kiler that cant pressure gens you can still put pressure on last gen if you were paying attention to gens location.
  • @Kebek said:
Most hilarious part of this thread is that there are poeple who actually defend the fact that gens can be done so fast. Mistakes or not, perks or not, the game is fundamentally flawded with current main objective for survivors.

I hope that devs will acknowledge that survivor gameplay need significant changes so that we all can enjoy the game without matches like these beiing possible.

So then if gens are going to get longer to fix we can remove killers addons that allows them to pressure gens? We can remove all crutch things like Mori? We can remove hillbilly who can pressure gens by default?

Tru3 got outplayed in this match, but it's not like that's very hard to do if you are a coordinated team.

If he had some perks he would have had some better luck. At the same time, the Survivors could have played better to. Both sides were pretty potato in this match. People saying if Tru3 played better he coulda got the 4k, but the effort needed to do that is much higher than the effort needed for Survivors to get a 4 escape. If the Survivors played better, the opposite would have happened. Killer success is solely dependent on Survivor mistakes.

Nurse's success is based on her skill. Tru3, was not playing as skilled as top tier Nurse's would have.

Nurses success also still depends on Survivors making mistakes, Nurse just has the ability to force mistakes, which other Killers do not. Smart Survivors can still dominate even a good Nurse. The only time Nurse becomes borderline unstoppable (at least to me) is if she has 4 or more blinks. I've personally never had issues with good Nurses, but someone's gonna say anecdotal evidence don't matter.

No you don't understand Nurse at all do you? Survivors can't do much against her, she will catch them and she'll do it quickly. She can't 'force mistakes' because she doesn't rely on them to win like the others. Killers who force mistakes are only Billy and Hag. They can force mistakes. Nurse can go there and blink. You need to understand her mechanics properly in order to see that she doesn't rely on the survivors messing up. You might be a Nurse who dominates at rank 1, who am I to say that you're not. But you definitely don't understand Nurse.

Against addonless nurse survivors can break line of sight which opens a window for juke or simply staying longer in a chase simple as that and dont try to juke her in the open. However nurse with addons doesnt have any counter

  • He could keep pressure at the end when last gen left to fix and he would do fine and he took ds he didnt even try to counter it and he s not really good as nurse. Gen rush is intented. Some killers just simply cant pressure gens

To all of you people who are saying: He's playing with no perks!

Barbacue doesnt serve a purposse no more because of how many counters It has, Ruin is destroyed at the first 15 seconds of the match. The other 2 perks he would run dont really matter because almost no perks work well with Nurse since she doenst need them.

That means that even if he had perks he would be playing without them.

Meanwhile we have survivors playing with Dead Hard, DS, etc, which cant be destroyed at the first 15 seconds and have counters that take a lot of time for the killer.

And also, survivors were playing without toolboxes... It would be kind of Ok if they all had a toolbox or Leader but honestly... 4 mins gens without toolboxes is pretty damn broken.

Gen Rush is real and needs a fix.

Sloppy butcher. Nurses calling. NOED. Blood warden.

    You’re just uninspired

    - Sloppy: Yh, 10 more seconds to heal, right...
    - Nurse's Calling: Useless in red ranks unless you are playing as a killer with less than 28m TR.
    - NOED: What's the point of having that perk if totem spots are seen from miles away and are also right next to gens?
    - Blood Warden: Again, what's the point if It can only be used once and by the time you get someone the hooked guy is saved...

    Dead hard doesnt work?

If the survivor gets yolo saved directly in front of the killer, no. The survivor will get downed before he has the chance to use DH. (Which shouldn't be, but that's the way it is at the moment.)

You re lost here too . Read what is this thread about and what mlga actually is useful for

I know full well what MLGA does do and why it's used and it's gone beyond it's initial purpose which was for ping issues with lobbies. It was never intended for what's it's being used for now.

It's not that difficult to dodge lobbies with high ping and can just leave the lobby and depending on what your threshold is you might try changing it to avoid some of your issues.

Oh and here directly from their site.

MLGA stands for "Make Lobbies Great Again". In any Peer to peer lobby, MLGA can be run to view the people you are connected to, see their ping, and toggle a blocked/loved setting for each of them.

There's even lists out there of toxic/good players on both sides apparently that people can use so they only get matched up with easy players.

The author stopped doing anything with it last year after it got abused for going beyond ping blocking and you can check his comments on it.

Anyway what s your problem with that ? If people do that it means you wont get mached up with casuals and they will matched up with equals isnt it good ? Or you play on low ranks on purpose too to destroy casuals?

MLGA stands for 'Make Lobbies Great Again'. A software that gives you more information about the lobby you're in and you can blacklist people so you don't connect to their lobbies anymore (if not wrong?)

It shows you accurate pings and you can mark people loved and blocked. You can still choose to play with blocked players but it gives you a heads up on the type of player you are facing.

You mean if i block someone i can still end up in his lobby but it s going to happen less often or what?

As solo survivor I like to have the option against getting tunneled or hook farmed. It should not just depend on the person who saves me but also I like to have some kind of helping perk. They rush to save you without borrowed time no matter where the killer is and you end up on the hook again. Personally I would carry a perk like that just avoid frustrations like these.

    Dead hard doesnt work?

If the survivor gets yolo saved directly in front of the killer, no. The survivor will get downed before he has the chance to use DH. (Which shouldn't be, but that's the way it is at the moment.)

Depending on hook spawn, Breakdown could sometimes be useful.

Weird it always works for me. Maybe you played with higher ping which is why it didnt work for you

What is mlg software, and what does it do and how do I get it (if it's allowed)?

I wouldn't get to obsessed with it. Once dedicated servers come out it won't work anymore.

Yep why would you need it anyway after that ?

  • You ended up on hook first so your teammates are allowed to use you as a meat with borrowed time for the rest of a game while they gen rush get better

  • This aint a rocket science just play in private with friends and elaborate your own jukes and see how looping works youself

I have this issue when any effect (ruin, mangled, etc.) gets triggered or somebody gets hit. Only happens in the beginning of the match usually though. Don't think it has anything to do with MLGA as I don't use it but have had it since forever.

Never happened to me before until mlga though

You can block lobbies you dont want to connect to

MLGA is a third-party software so if it bugs up your game that isn't surprising.

Id rather have that than this game s matchmaking bugs

    Matchmaking bugs?

When you get dodged many times there are different bugs like lobby crashing infinite loadings. With mlga i can just block high ping lobbies and get instant match making

    Anyone experience the same?

I noticed it only happens after gen was fixed not always of course its either the 4th or last gen or both

Doesn't happen for me. Is java up2date?

Yeah . Ping maybe ? All survivors had 70ms and one had about 140ms

    Thana + tinkerer is good

Sounds like a funny combo to try out.

couldnt imagine a better loadout for nurse maybe also you should add brutal strength and hangmans trick to your loadout lmao

Yeah okay face me in a game then give me your players tag lets see how " bad " my build is

lmao you could play perkless and without addons and still destroy every swf group if youre a god nurse.

thats like i would tell you a ferrari (bbq) is way faster than an opel (tana) and you tell me .. okay bro come with your bobby car (survivor) at me i will show you how bad my opel is.

but the ferrari is still alot better to drive than your opel.

Do you even play survivor? How many times you reveal your aura to bbq? I basically never reveal it or if i do it wont matter cause im already far away from a killer and chances that he will find me when he s here are really low thus bbq is high risk high reward perk it was already easy to counter it before lockers thing

bbq, whispers, shadowborn and nurse calling is by far the best build for nurse

Okay thanks for running it then the perk is trash and easy to counter

almost fall for it, well played sir

i will also try this out on the next "dstrike is op thread" that dstrike is trash and easy to counter

How is going in a locker not an easy counter ?

tell me a game where 3 survs are going into a locker when hooking someone? no good surv do that because it takes way too much time.

Sorry but you have to know this that bbq is strong only if you hook survivor immediately or facing potato players or play range nurse but range nurse is easy mode already with no perks at all

  • Remove your Terror Radius at the cost of not having a power. Thanks but I'd rather play Myers.

You do know that your terror radius increases once you in a chase?

  • First of all you need to run iron will its just must have perk to break a chase and its good against any killer to not let them know where re you when they cant see you .
  • The reason i dont run bbq is that its too easy to counter and on big maps its a complete waste of perk slot
