Zoomies is always fun! and it doesnt have to be an entire build centered around it either. Batteries Included and Noed, and then Coffee Grounds (Applies an addtional 5% haste when setting a trap) and I usually like to pair that with Fastening Tools so I dont lose too much distance. So 115% (Base Movement) + 5% (Batteries Included) + 4% (Hex: No One Escapes Death) + 12.5% (Setting Trap w/Coffee Grounds) = 136.5% movement speed! (For 5 seconds anyway... but still fast!)
Another build is taking a page right out of Otzdarvas shenanigans... and thats the Goalie Trapper. Remember Me, No Way Out, NOED, and a perk of your choice. Add ons are Iridescent Stone and Secondary Coil, (Tension Spring could theoretically work as well, havent tried it yet though) The plan is to open an exit gate the moment the last gen pops, and make it so the other gate is basically impossible to open before the timer runs out. So theyre other option is going through you which is a bit difficult since you have NOED.. and you can set up some traps near the gate (some indoor maps are particularly nasty) to some times block off entrances. I havent played this build in a very long time because Ive been putting a lot of time into Trickster lately, but Ive always had fun running it :)

Pretty sure it's always looked like this but I feel like my DbD knowledge has just gone out the window recently lol

Way back in the day she used to stop humming al together while chasing, meaning she really only had that 20m TR to go off by to Survivors who werent in chase with her.
No idea when it was removed, but itd be pretty neat if it came back

I appreciate your response. But I do feel like it's bit of an oversight If I can say, as Pig and Skull Merchant has a mix of stealth and mobility who still got theirs reduced. Skull Merchant gets a +5% Haste from the Drones when using them when placing or rotating, and still gets 24 meter terror radius.
No one usin pigs ambush or merchants haste as a mobility tool

Xeno's gameplay just isnt that interesting when comparing it to other killers, and Crawler mode just feels like something thats unfinished. The original name for it "Runner Mode" (was in the PTB) also suggests this.
The tunnels and the flame turrets are pretty cool, but Xeno itself needs something more. Youre barely in your normal form, and you should have some sort of ability while in it, and you can change to Crawler mode at will while also giving it some other kind of ability (maybe even keep the tail whip, but still give something to the normal one) just so the gameplay feels a bit more interesting and not so 1 dimensional

No matter what number buffs you give it, itll still have the issue of not being able to convey you have the perk to your team and it being quite situational.
The best buffs you can give this perk is showing your perks to your team in the lobby, and maybe showing a little icon at the bottom right like Kindred whenever the Survivor gets hooked so some one knows to at least run by to buy some time.

doesnt change the reality of the douchebag being a douchebag tho. no matter who what when or how long you ban
Works like that irl too man. If youre out there causing a scene not only do people not give a ######### 90% of the time but some one is bound to shut you up

Nope. I can confirm this, as I had Demo jump from P1 to P3 after the Prestige Rework, and still had to u lock his perks manually at higher tiers (though oddly enough I had them at Tier 1 on all new killers until he was brought back to the Fog. Weird.)

No, I had Demo prior to the rework (on Console), this never happened, since BHVR did not plan Demo around the Prestige Rework.
We did, after many, many months, get Demo’s perks as Prestige Charms but it was so long after the Prestige Rework that it hardly even mattered. And it was near the time when Stranger Things was coming back anyways.
Huh... youd think it wouldnt work that way... How Strange..

Based on their FAQ (found here:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/493-faq-the-hellraiser-content%29.
). Someone can correct me if Im wrong. It seems like their perks will remain permanently unlocked on all characters if you Prestige'd them to any capacity, this applies even after this removal I think, you just need to have the character unlocked. New players will have the opportunity to obtain the perks through the Bloodweb as General/Universal Perks.
With Demogorgon, their Shareable Perks were a special case separate from Pinhead due to the Stranger Things license being removed before the Prestige Rework. For reference, the Prestige rework came out around July of 2022 while Stranger Things was removed November of 2021.
When the prestige rework was released however, if prestiged Demo I believe you unlocked all the perks on all characters still.

Im all for it. The reason why some perks don't see any use or aren't used in Solo Q isn't because they're bad, but because there's no way to communicate to your team that you have the perk.
Wicked or Deliverance is a perfect example of this, some one is more than likely going to go for the save when its not necessary.

It is niche as heck and even a coordinated swf do not need this perk. Base on killer usually one just try to unhook taking the whack as the other immediately pulls and all sashay out the gate. Most time its use when it is a safe unhook for meme purposes lol. Tbh steves cammadarie I feel is better but still not needed.
Base on killer usually one just try to unhook taking the whack as the other immediately pulls and all sashay out the gate
And that's exactly why its a strong pick. It gives them an additional 30 seconds for Survivors to reset and set up for that save. They can open a gate, all heal up, and still have about a minute in some cases to go for the unhook. They can also spend that time doing things like finding NOED, or exhausting a killers power like Huntress for example.
Its a strong pick even in Solo Q, and the reason why you see people use Reassurance right before an unhook in some cases is to let them know they have the perk.

That's why playing Nemesis during the Halloween event is so much fun, you can use the Blight Serum for super speed and the captured Haunts as an alternative to the rocket launcher xD.
Never thought about the haunts acting as a rocket launcher lol

Interesting 🤔. Well, maybe Nemesis got powered up a bit in the Entity's realm and is now more resilient to stuns?
I mean in both cases its clearly meant for balance purposes, in the case of the stun how ever I guess its the thing like the bigger they are the harder they fall? Idk, it just makes me feel more like Nemesis. That being said he is by NO means slow, and I hate that they didn't add some form of speed to his kit or even his animations to showcase this.
https://youtu.be/jzkvoCDi8Ik?si=VYLS5BCvDGNkHnp_This video PERFECTLY showcases basically everything in his kit, and its why so many people aren't satisfied with current Nemesis.
EDIT: Also heres a side by side of the 2 (DbD Nemesis and RE3)
https://youtu.be/vFJaMKaaAkI?si=tTBAD2MRR_aBvncp -
Absolutely
Survivor needs to be MUCH more interesting than it is currently, and having the effects of some of the more fun perks would definitely help. It would also remove some of the tension that can some times be felt.

My Nemesis build is also designed to be accurate to the character rather than efficient for gameplay.
Brutal Strength: yes, Nemesis can easily destroy pallets and walls with his tentacle. It''s still useful while in Tier 1 though, and goes well with other perks in this build.
Enduring: pallets should only be minor inconveniences. Get stunned, shrug it off, destroy it, resume chase.
Knock Out: now before you go and get the torches and pitchforks, allow me to explain. I do not use Knock Out in this build for the purpose most use it for, which is (malicious) slugging. I use it because a punch from a hulking brute like Nemesis is sure to inflict that kind of damage.
Pop Goes The Weasel: similar to Nemmie's punches, I can imagine that his kicks do a lot of damage too. Hence why Pop comes into play. Plus it's a nice regression perk too.
Alternatives you can use:
Fire Up: pairs perfectly with Brutal Strength and makes Nemesis an even more unstoppable force.
Ultimate Weapon: just the name of the perk alone should make this a good pick.
Any of Nemmie's own perks: Lethal Pursuer comes to mind, can be paired with other aura reading (for example the Jill's Sandwich add-on).Id actually argue against Enduring since in the games when you stun him he is staggered for quite some time.
I prefer using Dark Arrogance + Superior Anatomy. It somewhat covers his jumping capabilities from RE3make, but also the stun. Just makes it a bit closer to the source material imo.

I don't know if 6 blade trickster is weaker or stronger than current trickster, but he certainly felt less frustrating to play against and more fun to play.
He was pretty weak even before his rework, so I hope they partially revert him back but keep him at 115, keep the recoil removed, and lower main event requirement to around 20 or so. And adding a single bounce too like you mention seems like a no brainer that would make his skill ceiling way higher and add lots of depth to him.
I just feel like 115 suits him a lot both in gameplay and lore, makes him a lot more unpredictable in loops and helps him be scarier in tall wall tiles where he is weakest. It's also unique since most other range killers are 110 like Huntress and slinger. Since he's always been one of the weaker killers I'd say there's room for him being 115.
Thing is I feel like some of the changes he received was to justify him now being 115 (Mainly slower throw rate and more knives required)
Adding a single bounce to his knives would also help him immensely at high wall loops. I myself have been using the add on for weeks now and cant play without it. Not just because it makes him stronger, but it also makes him MUCH more enjoyable.
Also if they do end up reverting him.. revert my boys lobby music back to the PTB one (pls :3)

I will main old trickster if they bring him back, but they should lower the required knives for main event to 18-24.
I hope they haven’t scrapped the concept of design preview’s, it would be a wasted opportunity.
but they should lower the required knives for main event to 18-24.
This
Also I feel like a partial Trick Blades basekit (1 bounce instead of 2) would not only make him stronger, but much more appealing than he currently is because of the added skill ceiling.

Happened to me multiple times the last couple of weeks when queuing as killer in 2vs8 that I got a cheating partner that just instantly downed all survs or had infinite frenzy etc. Most times I just park myself in some corner and let the match go by.
Just wondering that if anticheat should pick this up it only bans the cheating killer or if I am at risk too since I'm in that team
Infinite Frenzy is a bug and its Frenzy from Wish
You look like youre in Frenzy, you deep wound like youre in Frenzy, but you cant interact with anything, you dont get killer instinct, you dont get bonus movement speed, no increased FOV, and you can't even down.
Could of actually been a cheater too though, its just Ive never heard of it

Ghostface needs a buff sure, but i think Trapper needs one first, Imagine if the all the killers were forced to go and pick up their power all over the map.
As a P100 Trapper, trust me, you do not want him to start off with all his traps. Trapper Sack is one of his strongest add ons for a reason, and it aint a good one.

No, because they'll do what they've done before and say that "any killer buff is a buff to tunneling/camping." We'll get nerfed and get nothing in return.
when have they said that?

At this point I dont see why not, other than it being a pretty big loss in revenue since pretty much all of these skins are in the shop

Superior Anatomy never actually worked properly with Legion's power. There's also never been any addons that affect Legion's vault speed.
The situation you mentioned with Wraith is still entirely possible. Same with Myers, but slightly less so.
If they don't want to add back Vault Speed perks affecting Legion's power, they should at least create an addon that buffs their Vault Speed.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3887671#Comment_3887671
It's still kind of a grey area, considering there's a couple of powers that buff Vault Speed directly, and still work just fine with Bamboozle and the like.
Exposed and Sloppy have never worked on Special Attacks either. It's just that individual killers have had their power attack changed from being considered Basic to Special. Nurse, Legion and Pig to name a few specifically. Killers like Deathslinger and Spirit still have power attacks that are considered Basic.
Legion's Vault Speed buff was intended, they even added text specifically to Bamboozle to clarify that it wouldn't block pallets for a reason. It was only when Wesker rolled around that they eventually decided against it.
Sloppy did in fact used to work back in the day with Billy and Bubba, but all it did was apply Hemorrhage which only increased bleeding at the time. Also no other powers get affected with the vault speed increase from Bambam
There's also a very clear difference from a special attack and a basic attack performed after their power. The latter uses the basic blade wipe animation after performed (Wraith, Spirit and Slinger are the only ones I believe) and special attacks go into some form of fatigue or special blade wipe (Think of Pig and Blight for example) . Once they clearly defined what a basic attack was, Pig and Legion lost their ability to use basic attack perks with their powers. All that remained was Nurse, which was also changed later on.
I can't find the exact patch where they removed Bambam from working with Legion, but I did find this:
There is 0 reason as to why Bam would work, but Superior wouldn't. It would stray even further from them trying to be consistent.
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3887647#Comment_3887647
It was about it being too strong on Wesker, which then lead to Legion having it removed as collateral.
No, it wasnt. It was purely meant for consistency. Why would vault speed perks work but then remove the interaction with things like Exposed and Sloppy with special attacks? Or Brutal/Fire Up not affecting pallet breaks with Demo, Nemesis, Blight, etc? Or Coup de Grace not working with powers that have a lunge like Demo and Pig? Its to make sure perks dont have an effect with powers. Theyve removed all of these in the past, and Legion is no exception
EDIT: Just want to mention that except for the pallet break interactions, all of these at some point did have interactions with powers.
