  • I've recently been asking people about this collab and many of them prefer FLOOD.

  • Dead By Daylight is side survi yhea ….

    Buff Chase Killers Perks please?

  • @chilliconcarne said:

Think about it, you could use a flood form as a killer perhaps the tank

Add Sergeant Johnson or someone not too OP of the sort as a survivor

You could add skins for other survivors and killers for example

    an Elite/Sangheili for the Demogorgon

Captain Keyes or Dr Halsey as skins for survivors

there are a lot of directions you could go with this and it seems 343 are just collaborating with anyone so it likely wouldn't be far off, this would be a very cool chapter imo

Since new killers are getting better then demorgon and sort of forgotten. He needs something. So i have some ideas: make some addons basekit: barbs glasses, mew"s guts, rotten green tribe (at least 10% would be nice), black heart, rat tail and maybe rat liver and reworking most of the addons like viscous webbing, sticky lining, thorny wines, elevens soda, upside down resin, unknown egg, deer lung, lifeguard whistle and rotten pumpkin. To make them more unique just like springtrap Then red moss remove the 15% longer time to emerge from a portal plus slightly nefing the percentage of the undetectable to 6%. Increase the undetectable duration to violet waxcap and wermilion webcap. Next: increase duration of undetectable to like at least 10 seconds. Give demogorgon the abillity to when he places the seventh portal the oldest one get replaced just like hag (and maybe give him 7 portals instead of 6 basekit) and maybe make him slightly more quiet with walking plus slightly increase the speed when demorgon is about to teleport. That way he would still be worth to play. Since i am an demogorgon main.

Behaviour will not buff C-D level killers
    Learn to play Nurse-Blight-Billy-Singularity :/

Hear me out. I know what some of you are gonna say

Why buff m1 killers when there's already super strong killers in the game why add more.

Well M1 based killers suffer when they are on larger or on a Maps that are covered in Pallets or Windows. I rarely see The Pig or Myers anymore and if I do there rather new or sweaty because of the conditions on most maps. And just giving them maybe more movement speed or much more as for map pressure to make them more playable

They should have a % bonus to break and jump windows faster

This is how I mostly feel regarding your list, I just only am unsure of what I'd do with doctor, maybe make his power not remove bloodlust, or grant haste?

I think Ghostface getting 2v8's movement speed in Shroud would be good, Maybe Amanda could have something similliar to fearmongerer that she moves faster while unseen or allowing her to charge her dash while moving full speed in crouch so she can use it to get around the map, I think mobility would help these killers a long way.

You're right, one of the problems is the map mobility, but in my opinion the main problem is the power in chase, they don't have

  • @Anti051 said:

It's just insane how endurance can completely carry people through matches, especially against M1 killers, I don't get how it's even remotely fair.

Enduring is a very bad perk, a good survi will peddle in the correct pallet

  • @dgbug said:

I understand that new killers have to be OP and shiny on release to incentivize people to buy them, but I feel like a lot of the older killers have been left by the wayside. Chucky is awful to play, Xenomorph disappeared off the map, Trapper is still awful after years and years, and Ghostface still isn't great to use. Sadako's been left back where she was pre-rework with some nerfs to boot, and Skull Merchant is basically permanently killswitched.

Please even out the power of the roster a little bit. Both sides have been in a type of arms race, and it's feeling impossible for older killers to even keep up anymore. What will a bubba do against a group of 4 competent survivors? What will a Knight do? I feel like most of my games are just against Kaneki, Blight, Hillbilly, and Wesker.

And as for playing killer, it just sucks to play the ones that have seemingly been left as "fine" despite their current status. It's unlikely that Sadako or Chucky will recieve any changes for several patches, and we all know that the only thing holding this game back from p2w status is Nurse's atlas complex.

Please, just make the worse killers better/rework them. Put some time into killers that aren't the new shiny toys or fan favorites.

I totally agree, there are many killers that were left behind with the buffs and basic mechanics that were given to the survis over the years, they were indirect nerfs to these killers too, here is my tierlist, I would like to see yours

    my-image (1).png

Ghost Face (Make this Addon 5% or 10% Base)

    image.png

PIG (Make this addon 20% base)

    image.png

Skull Merchant (Drone with 2 lights again needs to be turned back) or (the drone needs to spin faster)
No more Dash killers, please. I don't want that rework on the merchant…..

    image.png

Trickster this base addon (I don't think it would be very strong, it could 1 Ricochet not 2)

    image.png

Trapper has increased speed when setting a trap
Sadako has increased speed when entering and exiting stealth mode

  • We have Horror Shooters like left4dead2, Resident Evil.. even Rainbow Six as collaborations, why not try with the
Xbox game face? Halo would be very well received as skins but I think it's more interesting as a chapter, it's a killer that can camouflage itself like the Wraith, another killer similar to that style could be very interesting

    Halo_experience1-ezgif.com-speed (1).gif

    :)

  • After seeing this PTB, surely Stringtrap and Plague also need this…..

  • BUFF MORE Superior Anatomy

Needs to buff base Killer and nerf or keep some addons

  • @Elan said:

Here we go for some feedback on patch notes for todays PTB and I will like to hear your opinion too.

    1. Go next prevention

    — If someone wanna go next they will throw other way and there will always be something

—/+ Will massively change the escape/kill rate which will hopefully result in some nice killer buffs

    2. AFK detection

+/? Not sure what exactly is about to change other than bodyblocking

    3. Bloodpoint spending

    + Big W

    4. Mori update

+/? Kinda mixed here, wish they make ebony mori basekit along with prelast and last survivor mori basekit

    5. Map offerings

    — Killers wont be able to pair build with map anymore (mirror Myers,…)

+ Survivors wont be able to bring map for advantage

PS: Killers should have 75-100 % chance of getting offered map, survivors should have 10-25 % chance to get offered map

    6. Spawn rules

+ Will make corrupt more reliable as a early game slowdown

+ Will be better for knowing where to go first

+ Will be harder to get genrushed early game

+ Will be easier to defend specific part of the map

    7. Artist buff

+ only add ons but its better than nothing

    8. Vecna Buff

+ Spells will be available at start game

+ he will get better mobility overall

+ He will get more reliable antiloop

    — buffing magic items will result in more counterplay on already average killer

    9. Killer perks

    Call of brine +

    Thrilling tremors +

other perks in my opinion dont need buff, they are not used as often because of urge to run slowdowns, this again could be more effective if they increase repair time

    10. survivor perks

    Counterforce +

Other perks dont need any buff, some even deserve a nerfs

Anatomy Superior no deserves Buff? Are you kidding?

The perk is useless, and even if you use it correctly, it will only work once. Survi will know that you have superior anatomy and will go straight to the pallet (play it super safe). It will know what moves you're going to have thanks to the jump perks (which is why Bamboozel will always be better than these perks). Survi will continue to jump over the window. Right now, these 3 perks are useless, nobody uses them (bamboozel is far superior because it closes de window. not because of its jumping speed)

Superior Anatomy: Should have 50% jump and a 15 second cooldown.

    image.png

Fire Up: The perk should be active from the start of the game and maintain 6%. If not, reduce it to 5%, but start with 1 token.
    5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%
    6% / 12% / 18% / 24% / 30% / 36%

    image.png

Dark Arrogance: Should lose or lower the negative effect (+ stun time) and increase the 25% to 30% vaulting

    image.png

After all, they're useless perks. No one uses them, and then you complain that they don't deserve buffs?
You are Main Survivor or do you experience these perks? It's your fault we're seeing 3-4 Anti-Gen Perks in every single game.

I did read it, yes. There is totally room in the UI to fit in differences like it, but I'm still a bit worried on how it changes the experience of learning chasing. Movement speeds aren't tied to M1 Killers and the Terror Radius just means you are starting chases at a shorter distance. If things like faster pallet break speed, different vault speeds, basic attack cooldown, lunge distances and etc started to get varied up (outside of the realm of Power stuff, I mentioned Myers does these subtle boosts to M1 gameplay already, but it's kind of his whole thing) it starts to disrupt the transferable skills of the game between characters.

It's kind of like the idea of making Trapper a 120% Killer. It could make Trapper good, but it's not great for new players.

Hmmmm, I still think it's not a problem. New players will usually play with the 5 original killers, and even if they face a new killer, they'll surely get used to the killer after 1 or 2 games. They'll understand that it has a smaller terror radius or that it breaks faster from the start. Also, Behaviour could make tutorials instead of forcing new players to understand the game or figure things out on Twitch.

Low MMR isn't an excuse for these changes; people are capable of adapting, and if Behavior is willing to help, it would be easier for them to adapt with tutorials or, as I said, I explained it to them in the killer's info.

  • @Lexilogo said:

Myers kinda already does this, with Evil Within levels providing faster vaults as a basekit feature.

Personally… I'm iffy on it. I love my M1 Killers, but the more of these inherent differences we pile onto characters, even minor ones like 5%, the harder the fundamentals of the game become to learn for new players. Getting taken for a deluxe tour of every pallet in the map is very frustrating for sure, but there's probably better solutions. (eg. should Bloodlust provide a pallet break speed increase?)

Read my full post. The Killer stats say running speed (3.8-4.4-4.6) or height (low-medium-high). Why not a separate stat that tells you if the killer breaks faster than others? That wouldn't affect anything...
It's like Anatomy Superior it only works 1x the perk is totally useless because the survi knows that killer jump fast

It won't be a problem if it's in the killer stats. (and even if it weren't there, it doesn't matter, 5% is insignificant)

    image.png
  • I will never understand why the community like, bullys the poor Ghost Face

    image.png
  • @Falcao said:

There are Freddy and Trapper perks for pallet breakage speed.

Could you at least read the full post? Those perks are severely limited because of other killers. I recommend you read the full post.

Honestly, there is just one single chase perk that I use on Pig. Never dropped it since I started playing her.

Most people here already know my addiction to that perk:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/6IQMOTZPYB8O/ezgif-2cbec6c10e6d87.jpg

No perk does what Stbfl does. It has great synergy with Piggy and supports those that are very good at m1 killer gameplay.

On topic: You see how dofficult it is to balance killers in the current state of the game. In my opinion, the best option would be to tackle the problem at its root, but im afraid that its way too late for that.

I just see this video on Tiktok, if these M1 killers had a 5% bonus on breaking and vaulting "for example" (to say a random number), it could make their help a little easier. There are killers who should break and vault pallets faster than others. The problem is easy to fix, but Behaviour doesn't listen to us or does it think it would be unfair?

    Good question...

I think the pigs problem lies not with her but the game itself.

The games design encourages pre dropping against m1 killers, as they can't do anything against it. Buffing Pig so that she can deal with it consistently would just be a band aid.

We need to change up map design so that these killer have reliable chances. Starting with shack. Against good survivors, the shack is just a 100% time waste without a reward for the Pig.

Changing this up however has to come with heavy nerfs to strong map mobility killers like Ghoul, Billy, Blight and the like.

As you see, this is a tricky problem. Either you go the easy? route and buff the pigs chase (a bit) or you change up the whole game for the better, which obviously takes A LOT more effort.

Sadly the latter will likely not happen anytime soon, so my suggestion would be to make crouching and uncrouching a bit faster and the ambush-duration a bit longer.

Compensation would be to delete synergy with screaming perks on boxes.

I always wanted something like this: There are killers that are 4.4, others that are tall and short, because there are no killers that can break pallets faster and vaulting faster... and the "M2" ones that more slower? (or stay the same?)
("M1" killers should break & vaulting more faster than the others) and I think it's the best option.

Or simply buff Fire Up and Brutal Strength, and killers like Blight / Wesker / Spirit, etc., have a power cooldown when they break a pallet (like Kaneki), but effectively with very different and insignificant cooldowns so they don't feel nerfed.

Pig needs Bamboozel and Brutal Strength, Fire Up sometimes relies on many chase perks, which are very limited because if they were to buff them, dash killers would be completely broken.

That's why everyone wants to learn how to play with Billy / Blight / Nurse because they don't need chase perks and can take 4 anti-gen perks, tunneling, and camp from the start.

  • @radiantHero23 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3931305#Comment_3931305

Let me ask you a question then. How do you play Pig? Do you use moondash? Do you crouch to bait shift w? Do you use JMF, the most based Pig addon?

Piggy's power is difficult to balance because she has the strongest Bild in slowdown that can also give you a kill. To balance that out, her chase HAS to be weak(er). That's how it is. I did say though, that she could use one or two small buffs to her chase. Getting the first trap out can take a very long time.

A bit faster crouching and maybe longer ambush would be a good idea.

To compensate for these buffs, they should remove the screaming build synergy that she has, as it is low risk, high reward compared to her usual playstyle being high risk, high reward.

Speaking from roughly 2.5k hours on Piggy alone, I'd say that she's comfy in the middle of c-tier right next to Sadako.

It's obvious I know how to play her... it wouldn't make sense for me to be mean to her and put her at P100 with so many killers that are easier and stronger to use.

I'm just saying that it's very "Normal" for the survis Insta Drop the pallet as soon as the loop arrives, then their ambush is useless and it always will be.

What buffs do you think the Pig deserves to make it a B Tier?

  • @TheSingleQuentinMain said:

    For context:

I play about 60% killer, 40% survivor. Buffs to a killer should not just make them "Better." It should add more depth, or nuance, or it should fix problems like RNG and map dependability. I'm focusing mostly on adding nuance, but also making so good survivors, or ones in a SWF, aren't super good against Ghost face. Also, this is a workshop. I'm not actually presenting these ideas, I'm trying to get input before I make a video essay or just a forum post on how to buff Ghostface. I'm not only open to critique, that's most of what I'm looking for.

    The primary buffs:

    1) Haste Gain from Stalk: After stalking two or more survivors by 50%+, Ghost will gain haste depending on how many survivors currently have 50% or more stalk applied. 2 survivors = 3%, 3 survivors = 5%, 4 survivors = 7%. This will give him incentive to have multiple targets stalked at once that he hasn't downed, rewarding him for patients, and sort of incentivizing an anti-tunneling playstyle, as he will be stronger with multiple survivors still alive.

    2) Basic Attack Cooldown on Marked/partly marked survivors: If a survivor is marked 50% or more, the basic attack will be 20% faster cooldown. This way altruistic, prot hit taking survivors are still effective, but it won't make the work you put into stalking them and leaving them pointless. This will also be an extra reward for stalking a survivor with you power, instead of somehow using a perk to expose a survivor.

    3) Cooldown Reduction after a reveal: Each time a survivor reveals Ghost face, he gains 1 second removed from his cooldown, up to a max of 4 seconds. This way against good players, or on a map that's super hard to hide on, his power slightly improves, but not to the point where it would be worth it to intentionally be seen. Admittedly, this is a kind of flat buff, which I know I said I'm against.

    4) Cooldown boost After a hook: After hooking a survivor, his Night shroud cooldown will be 30% faster for the next 20 seconds. This is to reward him for hooks with quicker night shroud activation, and to make it so being revealed by a person you just hooked doesn't mean you'll lose night shroud for a whole 20 seconds, but you won't be able to camp a hook whilst the survivor is looking at you.

    image.png image.png image.png image.png

Put these 4 addons as BASE / SEMI-BASE

  • @Dustin said:

There's only so many changes you can make to an M1 killer. I won't say Pig is fine - maybe they could use some small buffs or QoL changes. I would suggest the roar happening closer to the end of the dash or even only after the dash begins but people heavily argued against that due to wanting to meme as Pig.

Personally I feel for what Pig's kit does they are fine but just because they are fine for their own kit I wouldn't say they are in a good spot as a whole in the grand scheme of things. Realistically what can you do for this killer?

I see a lot of post in this thread saying Pig should be buffed but outside of 1-2 post no one is elaborating as to how.

    @Jtflorencio said:

    GHOST FACE BASE:

1: When marking a survivor, Ghost Face gains 5% haste for marked survivor for 10 seconds and the Survi are blinded for 5 seconds
(This helps Ghost Face be more useful)

2: Breaks pallets and vault windows 4%-6% faster

    The Pig Base:

1- Increases the transition speed to crouched state by +80% (Pig being a killer with no map control and no chase power this would make her more useful for mid games and make her "power" more useful)

2: Mini Ambush Buff: Speed and duration

2.5: Breaks pallets and vault windows 4%-6% faster (Against the Pig it is normal for experienced survivors to drop pallets before the Pig reaches the Loop so she would be a good option for this type of Killer without chase power and without map control) map)

3: Pig crouch speed buff: 4.4m/s

    (Perks)

    Fire Up REWORK: 5/10/15/20/25/30%
(Fire Up starts with 1 token from start 5%, Max 6 Token, 30% Max as current Fire Up)

    Brutal Streght BUFF: 25%
    (5%+)

    Pig is alright.

Her only big weakness is the early game.

If people pre drop and shift w, you will get your traps out way too late, resulting in you not being able to play much around them.

She still needs a bit of help with her chase but is overall in a great spot. I would not touch her much. Especially not the traps.

I don't know what kind of survis you get, but the Pig needs an small chase buff.
The survis doesn't even let you ambush drop all the pallets before I reach the Loop.

The Pig is a Tier D killer and indeed needs BUFF
How are you going to say that the Pig is "fine" then what about the 95% other killers?

    That answer is completely wrong.

Both Pig / Ghost Face / SkullMerchant needs BUFFS

As proof, here's me carrying my partner, otherwise decent Killers and often playing stronger Killers, against decent to good teams in 2v8. Multiple times.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/W0HNFY4SW2AQ/1.png

4k 4 out, notice I got significantly more hooks than my friend, a decent Killer, as Nemesis. This was an 8 stack. A really good 8 stack. We tied. But OK, Nemesis is not the best in this mode nor is this the best pairing of Killers, so let's see other proof.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Z51M2VSWZFLL/2.png

Me and another friend as Billy. This was a 7k. Notice I once again kept up with once again, a decent set of Survivors who could loop and do gens well, as Ghostface who is supposedly "a weak Killer" in this mode. Simply with his basekit. Billy is not considered weak in this mode, but somehow Ghostface is when he's keeping up with a good Billy against good Survivors?

Perhaps you need more proof? OK.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/WK1KVG62SU0O/3.png

Me and a random Wesker who was pretty damn good. No comms. Decent team. Very well coordinated. I still kept up as Ghostface. This was an 8k. He was running a fun class, not a serious class for Wesker. Wesker not only has a glitch as a disadvantage right now, he's also generally seen as strong in this mode. Our hook count is still even, against a decent team, on a map that is arguably Survivor sided. Huh, almost as though… Ghostface is not weak in 2v8.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/TUKIYBN3HEM1/4.png

Me carrying my friend AGAIN, him as Legion, who is considered stronger in this mode. He admittedly could have played better. I am playing on a map that isn't good for Ghostface, in a dark visible cosmetic, and still carrying a stronger Killer than mine against Survivors that know to spread pressure, how to loop, and generally are decent at the game. Good Survivors. 8 of them to be precise. We 7ked, mostly because one of them found hatch. I got the Mori.

Ghostface is fine in 2v8. But because he's been so weak in 1v4 for so long, and because according to this community M1s can apparently never be good and MUST always be considered weak despite evidence given to the contrary, you will all downvote, you will find some way to refute this, and you will disagree the actual physical proof in front of your eyes that this Killer is fine in 2v8 and actually, one of the better picks.

    As predicted.

    bad survis

How? I could see it when I was playing with my friend as they were Ghostie. It should give Killer Instinct.

Playing as him in any mode, if you are Revealed, you get Killer instinct on the revealer. That's info.

Ghost Face needs to recover from cooldown faster and stalk faster too.

And if possible, this base/semi-base addon is complicated when everyone has sprint.

No hes not. His inconsistent reveal machanic makes him super hard to reveal, and he gets an insane stealth speed boost. Thats almost as unfair as Oni with his turn rate buffs

Bro, the community itself makes memes of Ghost Face 8vs2 …. Did you at least play with him? It's not worth giving an opinion if you haven't played more than 10 games. Please don't talk if you don't know

Don't doubt it, Trapper is very good at protecting a specific area of the map with several traps together.

Free haste while undetectable on demand is pretty much the same caliber as free haste on setting a trap. But then that's where that "objectively" comes in… Objectively to most players, most of whom do not post here, he's balanced in both modes and fine. I guess anything is weak to a DBD God though.

I am sure you all struggling with him though are, as you'd probably boast, "just high level players and he only works for [me] because [I] am low level." I am admittedly a casual player who isn't out here trying to winstreak because frankly, I got bored with the lack of challenge, even as someone who has played daily since 2017. I guess you must all win 90% of your games both sides or something and be loop Gods, because nobody I know even remotely sees that level of difficulty with him. Or maybe you're all just not that good at this type of gameplay, or struggle to use M1 Killers or something, I dunno, but as an average player he's better than Trapper or Spirit who is HARD nerfed by the sheer number of scratch marks.

Free haste while undetectable on demand is pretty much the same caliber as free haste on setting a trap. But then that's where that "objectively" comes in… Objectively to most players, most of whom do not post here, he's balanced in both modes and fine. I guess anything is weak to a DBD God though.

Could you stop defending Ghost Face as a strong killer? You're the only one against this. I'm sorry... You have no idea. I'm sure you haven't even bought Ghost Face, and if you do, you don't even play with it.

Trickster definitely doesn't need a big buff, he only needs to be reverted to his old state because of how clunky he feels to play now.

Chucky is already strong, but fine, he doesn't need any more buffs.

Spirit is already bugged again, only thing that should be done about her is accessibility option for players with hearing problems that play against her.

Plague is like...completely fine? But taking in mind how bugged she is, she needs her bugs fixed asap.

    Dracula just has overloaded kit.

Billy is completely fine atm and doesn't need any kind of nerfs.

Nurse just needs small tweak to kill her synergy with aura reading perks.

Blight needs quite some nerfs, maybe token deduction on pallet break, a bit increased token recovery time and longer fatigue.

Hux just needs tweaks that dumbed him down to be reverted, not a big nerf.

The Old 4.4 Trickster was horrible, trickster is a short range killer (medium and long is horrible) should be still 4.6, what the Trickster is missing are these 2 addons to make them BASE

    image.png image.png

And before you say that would be too strong, it's completely false, look what happened with Freddy is now an updated killer, Behaviour must buff the base killers and the addons keep them or nerf them

  • Most killers are outdated, whenever Behavior adds any mechanics, whether anti-camp / anti-tunnel or improves some perks and nerfs killer perks, those killers receive indirect nerfs.

It does, but is there really any benefit to it when most 2v8 killers use M2 attacks anyway? The only killer who really benefits from it is Wraith.

I don't think Ghostface is that bad in 2v8, but there's really no point in playing him when Legion does his job 10x better.

I'm P100 Ghostface, and in my opinion Ghostface from 8vs2 is worse than from 4vs1. Here's my tierlist.
This addon should be the base to not suffer so much with the sprint kit.

This current 2v8 is the worst iteration of 2v8 to date. First of all, stopping the cages from moving when a killer gets too close was a stupid decision. I had a game where an Oni would cage someone, run all the way to the other side of the map to find the person he caged, hit them on cage, then patrol around the cage until they saw someone come for the save. I didn't play the last two 2v8's so I don't know if that was new or not.

That brings me to point number 2. Oni was by far the single worst killer they possibly could have added. As of writing this, I'm on a 5 game losing streak because every game consists of an Oni that slugs everyone to keep using their power. I don't get why Behavior prioritizes the super competitive killers every 2v8. I'd expect Knight or Kaneki in the next 2v8 if my buddy said they can't because of how their powers would make it unfair. Where's Houndmaster, Mikey, Xeno, Bubba? Hell, I would have taken Chucky over the Oni. They had the perfect opportunity to make this 2v8 a stealth killer focused one by throwing literally any of the other stealth killers alongside Ghost Face. But no, they just have to put one mid to low tier killer and one high tier every iteration. I have yet to even see a single Ghost Face because he was overshadowed by Oni. Behavior literally invited toxicity in this 2v8, and I am never touching a future 2v8 if this how they're going to play out from now on.

    8vs2 My TierList Opinion
There are killers that received very large buffs and then there is Ghost Face that was nerfed in 8vs2

I honestly think this addon is overrated. I don‘t find it that useful when playing him, but it wouldn‘t hurt making it basekit.

Exactly, one reason to put it as a base kit

  • @Langweilig said:

I would like that. I also want the Fearmonger class from 2 vs 8 as perk, where you get 5 haste when nobody is looking at you.

    image.png
  • P100 Ghost Face here: Ghost Face is one of the weakest killers in DBD and yet he was nerfed in 8VS2 mode YES! He is worse in 8VS2 than 4vs1, he needs to recover the cooldown a little faster and the speed to expose the survi too and most importantly this Addon has to be Base 10% / Semi-Base 5% in 4vs1 as 8vs2

Ghostface is a terrible choice for solo q 2v8, because solo q killers can't choose what killer their teammate is playing, and their teammate might be playing a killer that wants to damage survivors with a non-basic attack. This is especially true because Oni is the other new 2v8 killer, and he gets to be in blood fury mode A LOT in 2v8, and therefore doesn't get a lot of value from the exposed status. In fact, Oni players would prefer if their teammate didn't 1 shot the survivors, because injured survivors drop lots of blood orbs.

And Ghostface has terrible map mobility, and a stealth mechanic that gets worse when the number of survivors increases.

And if anyone's like "he's still good". Just remember that "good" isn't good, when we have hyper aggressive killers like Legion and Oni, that bring way more value to their teammates.

Despise 2v8 game mode and wait times.

It's either killer sided or survivor sided

Last game i played survivors were t-bagging at exit like playing with 7 teammates and escaping is a marvellous fantastic piece of skill.

And before you wet your pants some killers are toxic too.

I've never played this mode since.

Not surprised they nerfd ghostface. They haven't a clue how to run this mode without changing aspects of killer strengths.

He's actually one of my favourite killers to play but not enough to be tempted to play this mess.

If you enjoy it fair enough but I know others like me hate it and we'll see you on the other side.

Those people who say Ghost Face is good are either Main Survis or people who don't play him. All the Killers received buffs, and Ghost Face was the only one who got nerfed.

Then they're the same ones who complain that we see too much Billy/Oni/Legion/Blight...

  • @TheDavidKingMain said:

Why is it that every time we get this event we have killer mains crying about their queue times but then bending over backwards to defend blatantly busted things in this game mode for killers like Legion/Oni. Of course nobody wants to play survivor when this combo exists, it makes the experience absolutely miserable.

Oni should have gotten nerfs, not buffs in this mode. Meanwhile they nerf ghostface lol.

That's completely true. They absurdly nerfed Ghost Face xD … and buffed Oni/Legion (broken Buffs in 8vs2) and... Billy/Blight were already Tier S and it can be seen in every game.
Nerf the Killers and buff the appropriate Killers and motivate the bloodpoints to play survi for 500%, which on my server I have them at 200% and the Killer queues exceed 10 minutes.

    My opinion:

    Big Nerf: Oni/Legion/Billy
    Nerf: Blight/Nurse
    Buff: Deathslinger/Trapper
    Big Buff: Ghost Face

  • @SoGo said:

I don't get why the Exposed was nerfed.

He's fine mostly, but the Exposed nerf makes it so you can't just Mark multiple survivors without wasting it.

The exposed is not the "big" problem, the problem is the cooldown, the ease with which it is revealed, the speed to expose a survi and this addon that should be base, but come on it is Behavior and GhostFace will continue to be useless, but remember that they are already crying for the Billy, Oni, Legion and Blight that are very strong in this mode which is the reason why you always see the same killers

I think he is actually pretty decent, considering his expose applies to your teammate. Not to mention the 10% haste you get while in night shroud.

Also prestige doesn't equal skill, always hated that argument

While it’s great to see QoL updates aiming to make the game smoother — especially for survivors — we can’t ignore the deeper balance implications here.

Yes, these anti-slugging, anti-tunneling, and anti-camping mechanics will strengthen survivor gameplay overall. That’s undeniable. But it’s also important to ask: why do killer players rely on these tactics in the first place?

It’s often a response to game design pressure. Many killers feel they have no other viable options due to gen speeds, strong survivor perks, and increasingly nerfed slowdown tools.

If these changes are implemented without addressing the underlying reasons killers tunnel, slug, or camp, then the imbalance only shifts further.

Killers need compensation in other areas, whether it’s basekit improvements, better chase mechanics, or meaningful perk reworks, Enhancing survivor quality of life is great, but it must go hand in hand with addressing the core struggles killers face.

Seeing nothing directly aimed at improving killer experience in this roadmap is genuinely concerning. It feels like we're addressing one side’s frustrations while leaving the other to keep struggling in silence.

They need to improve many perks and many killers, but that's not going to happen. We'll see pure Billy/Blight/Nurse lobbies.

  • @Twiggsy said:

Apparently they badly nerfed ghost face exposed in 2v8 -50% duration an already weak killer and they gave him miniscule buffs to compensate and didn't give him any reveal resistance.

Ghost Face 4vs1 »> Ghost Face 8vs2 (WORST KILLER IN DBD) I will never understand why they don't make this Base or Semi-Base addon with 5%...

Thats just careless picking up though 🫤 also he clearly thinks that fire up and forwver Entwined stack (they don't, its a set 42% max)

That 42% is because it canceled the decisive Strike, surely there will be a method that we get more % and the perk is not canceled

You don't watch them? What does that even mean? Also its not false at all. Your pick up time is always decreasing, meaning survivors incorrectly attempt saves or they just don't do it at all when your at full stacks.

A good Survis team will not waste time trying to blind, they can lose time when a Survi falls on a pallet but never to try to blind, they gain more time if there are 3 Survis repairing GENS, that perk is horrible it must be programmed so that the killers are saved with Survis that abuse falling on pallets, the timing to blind is little and is not enough
