I've just bought the houndmaster. trying to LEARN this killer right? well every single game is stacked medkits, stacked toolboxes, and map offerings. it just feels so bad man. I'm running some regression, but its never enough. I feel like the only way I could compete with survivors is by instadowning all of them. I like how most good regression perks have been nerfed, but to compensate, base regression, and base generator times have been also nerfed. But I still think with the ease of access to commodus toolboxes, it's too much. generators take forever solo, and it feels boring, but have a friend with prove, deja vu, resiliance, or built to last, they just fly. and all you can do is bring 4 slowdown, and that just sucks to do. I want to get value from other perks. Like I've enjoyed BBQ or Rapid Brutality on Houndmaster. but idk if my Houndmaster just started off with comp team MMR or there's just too many things buffing gen speeds.

I feel like Survi's perks are far superior to Killers' (remember 4vs16 perks) ... and they did nerf a lot of Gen's perks, that's true...

I hope Behaviour makes these changes someday.

    10% Gen Kick
    Buff Chase Perks (Bamboozel/Brutal Streght/Fire Up…)
Mini Corrupt Base Kit (5 seconds) & Grim Embrace kit base (2 seconds)

Why does everyone forget Myers. He has an 16 meter terror radius and a 6 meter one (if you count tier one).

We currently have 16, 24, 32 and 40 meter terror radius sizes.

Requiring buffs during a chase… the Terror radius does not help enough :c

Fire Up can only have 5 tokens, but its recent buff made it so it increases action speeds by 6% (was 5).

    Still useless/trash/meme perk

This is part one of what I'll probably be making a series out of, just posting my thoughts about a perk and inviting discussion about it.

Keep in mind these are just my thoughts. Feel free to discuss.

Let's start with Brutal Strength. This perk is really interesting. It seems simple at first, but it's deceptively useful on certain killers moreso than others.

Wesker is a great user of Brutal Strength because reducing the amount of time he has to spend breaking a pallet can potentially (key word potentially) increase the amount of time that a Survivor is out in the open, where Wesker is most dangerous. And if they're not in clear line of sight, at the very least it supports his ability to catch up and M1 faster, which is valuable since Wesker has such a versatile power (he can practically switch between being an M2 and M1 Killer depending on the situation.)

Then you have Killers such as Legion and Ghostface who gain value out of the perk but in a much more clear-cut, simple way. They have more trouble dealing with pallets than most other killers in the game, since even a small loop can descend into a string of 50/50's and red stain shenanigans. Pallets are significantly more inhibiting to pure M1 Killers than say someone like Xenomorph who can reach you beyond it.

These interactions elevate the perk from what seems to just be a "convenience" or luxury perk into something nearly mandatory for Legion and Ghostface to be able to function at high MMR. Suddenly, it doesn't matter as much that a pallet prevents you from reliably reaching someone when you can eat it quickly and chase after them.

Which brings us to another issue. Kicking a pallet isn't something you always need to do. In fact, many of the top-tier killers only kick god pallets (pallets that are so safe that they cannot be mindgamed, or almost cannot.) This means that even on Legion, Ghostface, Pig etc. you still don't really want to waste time kicking a pallet and losing out on the chase if you don't need to, but whether or not you need to is something that you need to judge with gamesense and experience.

    ___

So, is it good on M1 killers? Yes and no. If you only kick god pallets, saving 20% of the time won't ever actually help you. Even in loops with multiple pallets (like Lery's Asylum and The Game) you only really need to kick one of the pallets to significantly weaken the loop. In double-pallet setups (often seen on more recently released maps) kicking just one of the pallets turns the loop incredibly Killer-favored. If you do the math, Enduring by itself actually brings you closer to the Survivor than Brutal Strength assuming you kick the pallet as soon as the stun ends (which, granted, isn't something you necessarily always want to do.)

My conclusion is that Brutal Strength probably needs another 10%, for a total of 30% kickspeed on pallets. This will result in a chase perk that very strong Killers (A tier and above) don't really care about (excluding Wesker) while acting as a great way to help pure M1 Killers (who are always the weakest in the game by their sheer inherent nature of having no chase power or anti-loop power) get back on someone's trail.

    Brutal Streght deserves 25%
    Fire Up start with 1 token… 5%—/10/15/20/25/30%

I'm so ready, bc yall it's wild to see a P100 dc 30 seconds into a match just because they don't like to play against that specific killer (literally happened today actually). Now I understand that Prestige Lvl on a character doesn't mean that's their Account Lvl, but cmon now if you've dumped 85,000,000 - 100,000,000 BP into a single character, you've probably dumped a decent amount of time and energy into the game. Like I'm soooooo tired of these fake "high level" players destroying my matches (both on the survivor side and the killer side). So this MMR update and the disconnect penalty I'm heavily looking forward to since some of yall deserve to be low rank and low MMR 😎

The MMR is fine for Kills/escapes, but I would like to see it lengthened because the MMR is very short, like, why do I play Killer and i play with survivors with 300 hours (not cross-progress) and after 1 or 2 games survis for 6,000 hours?

Hallo fellow forum users and devs,

Last Thursday the devs surprised us by changing the terror radius’s of multiple killer. So one thing let to another and I came up with an interesting idea. Why not give killers more trades, that differentiate each other? For example terror radius sizes. I think this would be a cool thing. It is an easy way to buff or nerf certain killers and it allows for more build variety.

    40m Wesker

    38m Billy/Blight

    36m Doctor

    34m Nurse

32m Wraith, Cannibal, Clown, Trickster, Nemesis, Artist, Dredge, Knight, Singularity, Good guy, Dark Lord, Lich, Cenobite, Plague, Nightmare

    28m Demogorgon, Twins

    26m Trapper

    24m Hag, Huntress

22m Pig, Ghost Face , Skull merchant

18m Onryo (terror radius and lullaby)

    Special killers:

    Myers Tier 2: 12m  -> Tier 3: 24m

    Xenomorph: 32m -> Crawler mode: 14m

    Legion: 26m -> Frenzy: 32m

    What do you think?

Maybe you would make some smaller or bigger? - Would be interesting to see your opinions on this.

It seems fair to me that the Pig/Skull/Ghost have a 20M terror radius if they are killers who are not going to receive more buffs... because they are abandoned and mistreated and humiliated.

    Hey all,

I wondered if anyone knows what kind of rotation they have set for the Ormond Mine map. I ask because I have only gone to the map twice in the last three to four weeks of playing DBD, while all the other maps seem to be in regular rotation.

Is anyone else experiencing never going there?

1 in 100 games I get Ormond Mine and if it's Ormond I get the original 99% of the time

I love that the pig is getting a very needed buff after 7 years of it being removed but while we’re at it can we get chase and menu music for the pig PLEASE?! All killers should have their own unique chase and lobby music (with the exception of trapper and Freddy). Even wraith, huntress and plague should’ve been got their own chase music since they are original characters so there isn’t a licensing agreement necessary for it.

It would be nice to have a small Buff for her ambush or to make her a little faster when doing the tbag, with the radius at 24m and a new mori

  • @Atsuka_Anarchy said:

I've noticed a good number of conversations have come up about this across the net. I wouldn't personally use a flag, but a lot of people, especially those who are patriotic, would love this addition implemented into DBD. I do think sporting a charm or Banner/PFP with a person's main of that country would look pretty clean; there's many other games that have country representation and the controversial flags could be simply removed as not to spark an unnecessary heated discussion. As a buddy said before "LGBT or country, a flag represents its people".

    Billy is okay as 4.6.

I agree Pig and Ghostface could use some sort of buff but Pig already got her ambush buffed, it's genuinely OK now. I'm more concerned about her M1 potential in general, she's OK overall. Ghostface certainly wouldn't be worse off without a basekit Dropleg on Mark, but he really needs more important changes first - most notably, his glitchiness, his Lean issues, and how finicky Reveal is.

Fire Up has already been buffed, it's fine now.

Skull Merchant needs different changes as a stealth/info Killer, not stronger drones. Her drones in general ARE the problem with her, the rest of her needs buffing instead.

    I'm Main Pig/Trickster/Ghost/Skull

Pig Ambush is useless in most loops and doesn't even come close to 20% against experienced Survi

SkullMerchant needs an upgrade on drones, it's his "anti gen" power and he has no strength in chase, drones need to be slightly faster or change direction more easily (Looking at the drone and pressing it to change direction is idiotic) they should do it automatically all drones at the same time without wasting time looking at the drone and focusing on Survi

Ghost Face also needs 5% haste even when he marks a survivor for a few seconds base, (the addon that is lowered to 5% instead of 10% and extra 1 or 2 seconds) that would make him more useful on maps, and he will still be a D/C tier killer

Fire Up is the riskiest perk in all of DeadByDaylight, they can do 3 engines at the same time and the perk It is only useful with 4 tokens, with this rework the perk is less risky to use

I know what I'm talking about, my perks are my killers, too many hours

Billy is fine as a 4.6 killer. All he has is his chainsaw, without it he’s literally nothing. Blight is the same but his power is on demand so catching up to a running survivor is so easy that 4.4 would be necessary. Blight’s power is so good that he should always be using it and punished for not. That’s the whole concept of 4.4 killers, they have a very strong chase or mobility tool but move at 4.4 to balance it out making them forced to use their powerful ability to win their matches. Imagine a chucky or spirit never using their power. They would be awful

Fire Up is fine the way it is. I am a certified Fire Up enjoyer and honestly I would still use it even if they never buffed it in the first place.

Also the break speed isn't even the reason you bring it, it's to ruin any sort of flashlight/bang saves and also for insane synergy with Bamboozle.

The problem with FIRE UP is that they make you 3 GEN at the "same time" and you will never give it a good use, Brutal Streght allows you to clear the map quickly from the beginning, LightBorn we already know the reason and Bamboozel closes the window, Fire Up will still be worse than those 3 perks, everyone who is against this only cares about Side Survi, the Perk needs more this small rework it will continue being a TIER C Perk do not worry about this

    0 / 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30% (Current)
    5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30% (My Rework) 😍😍😍

So the Perk would not be as risky to use as the current one and even so you eat the risk of having 2 or 3 Gen made at the same time, I hope Behaviour makes my dream come true…

Fire Up is currently only "good" with 4 tokens... survis still have very good chances of blinding before 4 tokens, if Fire Up as I wish becomes a reality with 3 tokens we have 20% (2%+ than the current Fire Up) the problem with Fire Up is that the Perk is only useful when 1 GEN is missing and for you to make good use of it you would have to combine it with No Way Out (a perk that I personally don't like to use because I love chase perks)

    0 / 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 (current)
    5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (Rework) ←

The idea of this Rework is that the Perk is slightly more useful at the beginning of the game, and remains as good as the current Fire Up, the problem with that Perk and the reason that nobody uses it is that BRUTAL STREGHT will always be better because you will always have 20% and it is better for clearing areas … and LIGHTBORN because we already know the reason and BAMBOOZEL closes the window, the current Fire Up needs this improvement, if you are such a fan of Fire Up, tell me how it feels to have 3 engines made at the "same time" and not have taken advantage of the Perk, exactly this Perk needs this mentioned Rework and all those who are against it I will see as Main Survi it is impossible for someone who plays both sides almost equally or Fire Up lovers to be against this

Is it so hard for BUFF Perk Tier D to Tier C ???

1: When marking a survivor, Ghost Face gains 5% haste for marked survivor for 10 seconds and the Survi are blinded for 5 seconds

    The Pig Base:

1- Increases the transition speed to crouched state by +80% (Pig being a killer with no map control and no chase power this would make her more useful for mid games and make her "power" more useful)

2: Mini Ambush Buff: Speed and duration

2.5: Breaks pallets and vault windows 4%-6% faster (Against the Pig it is normal for experienced survivors to drop pallets before the Pig reaches the Loop so she would be a good option for this type of Killer without chase power and without map control) map)

3: Pig crouch speed buff: 4.4m/s

New Pig P100 Today :) ... I hope it receives Buffs in the future just like Freddy did

  • A post from 2023... let's be realistic, Behaviour doesn't care about these killers, the community itself doesn't care about these Killers (more of a meme reason) it was a miracle what happened with Freddy but I still don't expect Ghost/Pig/Trickster/SkullMerch to have the same Buff that Freddy got... we are 1% that nobody cares about and we will have to suffer with Pig or change Main unfortunately

  • @Nun_So_Vile said:

These buffs are…certainly bold and Pig could use some big quality of life updates to her kit. Aside from ambush and crouching updates, I'd like her to be able to get her traps back, but that probably would also include a rework to some of her add-ons as well. Maybe in that rework they could give her an add-on that makes ambush break pallets faster or something.

Pig's Ambush is an outlier when compared other killers with dash attacks who hit into a pallet. She can't break them in the interaction like Billy, Blight, Drac Wolf, Oni, or Demo, and can't dash under/over them like Wesker, Chucky, Drac Bat, Legion in Frenzy, or hell i've even seen some Olympic level vaults from Victor's short ass jumping clean over a pallet to down a surv on the other side. She only has the ability to go around and not directly through. Mindgame is all Pig really has since her dash is almost lacking compared to her peers.

This is true... unfortunately Pig cannot do this, is a one more reason to BIG BUFF his ambush

    image.png
  • @smurf said:

lol no. I'm a Pig main and find her to be well crafted. I agree with you that her ambush could use a small buff, and that her crouch/uncrouch speed needs a small enhancement. But much more than that and Nerf Pig would go from being a meme to a real and urgent need.

The changes proposed here would be far too much. Her crouched speed being faster than survivors? Have that along with enhanced pallet breaks and windows vaults? Then also buff her anti-loop? Then also buff her crouch time by 80%? I already get 3-4k in most games. I don't need to do it every game. I think you're right that she could use some buffs, but they should be small.

I should also say that it would be good to hear from the broader SoS (Society of Swine) on this to get more thoughts than just yours and mine :)

With what's coming DBD this year, the killers are going to suffer a lot... are you sure you wouldn't buffer the Cerda like I want after what they announced today?

It could use a very slight buff, maybe extending the duration by a small fraction of a second, like 0.1 or 0.2 seconds more. Much more than that and I think she could get hard to counter. Her primary strengths are her stealth and RBTs. Pig's stealth makes it possible to start almost every chase by injuring the survivor I'm targeting, turning Pig into something like a one-shot down killer.

Then her chase is augmented by her ambush. It lets you force survivors out of loops or give them a 50/50 if they stick around. But starting your chase with the survivor injured and being able to use enhanced mindgames or outright down a survivor at a loop they'd normally have a chance at using is usually enough to get a down and put a bear trap on in a reasonable time.

That leads into what someone else mentioned, which is the main point: her RBTs are very useful. They're quite effective for slowdown and can even be used to select when you want to have fewer survivors doing things.

And if a group of survivors really outplays Amanda, she can put a survivor into a hat with one generator left and not leave that survivor, guaranteeing at least one (cheap) kill.

It's true that she's still not Nurse or Blight, but buffing her very much could make her extremely oppressive for lower-skilled survivors. While she's not going to be a top-tier killer, I find her more fun to play (considering all those various powers) than unstoppable Nurse.

Her ambush is a mindgame against experienced survivors. It should be forcing survivors out of loops in a way that makes it hard to get to the next loop without taking a hit. If the loop has low walls, it even stops being a mindgame and becomes an issue of survivor knowledge to pick the least bad option.

    The Nurse passes through loops
Dracula/Pyramid's power passes through the Loop
Billy and Bubba break pallets in an absurd way
But the Pig can't have a ambush buff?

  • With those 2 addons together it is still easy to counter him, you have to put those 2 base addons + the speed of making "tbag"

Oh! On a re-read of my original post, I wasn't saying you didn't know how to use the ambush man! That was general statement regarding its place within the entire framework of playing Pig, wasn't directed at you... full disclosure I was more paraphrasing what Druss and JMD said, so no offence meant my Guy 😅

Good to know you're a Pig main, changes the timbernof ny response a bit! To be a little more accurate, crouch speed would definitely be nice, I have a real hard time taking JMF off my loadout for the myriad of benefits it brings, it just makes Amanda so much better at ambushing, m1 gameplay/mind games, sneaking round the map in general... I would certainly not scoff at that... though to be fair to Ghost Face... his undetectable does have a cooldown, whereas ours is on demand, so I don't begrudge his crouch being a little bit faster. 😏

The problem with buffing Pig is there is a natural trade off between ambush and head traps, and her identity lies more in using that slowdown to her advantage rather than her raw ability in chase. The current ambush does it's job well, it has plenty of skill expression and unique mind games. There isn't a lot difference between Pig ambush compared to Chucky, and he has (or at least is supposed to have) a much better version of Pig's ambush. The difference is meant to be made up by Pig's RBTs... a lot of players see it as pure slowdown, which it simply is not... it's a whole macro game of itself and adds another dimension to Pig's gameplay... A dimension that a lot of players ignore/dismiss, only to end up writing Pig off entirely, I hasten to add -🐽-

If Ambush gets buffed too much, then inevitably she becomes more like Chucky, and her head traps have to be nerfed in response. This is what they tried to do in the last PTB where she got her ambush buffs, and Pig players across the Internet rallied en masse to fight tooth and nail to stop the nerfs to RBTs coming in. Thankfully (and credit to BHVR), they mostly listened.

So with that in mind, the direction I would lean for buffing Pig is to improve her crouch/stand up times, maybe roll JMF partially basekit, cause that buffs ALL aspects of Pig, without solely trying to push her ambush as her main tool/identity.

I dare say that JMF (John's Medical File) is not enough, I would like to try it with the same speed as Ghost Face and that addon could be a kind of weaker (Workshop Grease)

  • @UndeddJester said:

As a member of the SAWciety of Swine (Eep... I'm definitely getting stick for that...), I think I agree with the takes from Druss and JMD.

The Pigs ambush is perfectly fine. You can fake, you can moondash, it has a good amount of skill expression, you just need to learn to use it. An idea they recently got me exploring is using the ambush to profile survivors. Use it just to see how they react and adjust your playstyle accordingly. As such I don't think the ambush needs buffs at all, it's perfectly fine.

We might need more buffs for her crouch speed though, maybe a buff to give her more combat straps, because as well as knowing when to ambush, it's also important to know when to cancel. When you crouch as Pig, your profile becomes very small. If you hide your red-light well (it doesn't vanish instantly), you can fake a survivor into thinking you're ambushing and instead stand back up for an m1. This mind game is very important on Pig, so being able to crouch/stand up faster helps all her interactions... not just ambush.

That said... 80% is a little extreme... that's a buff from 1s → 0.55s to crouch/uncrouch, which is super fast... if I eere to eyeball it, something 15% (0.87s) with combat straps making this 0.79s would be enough to make her a little smoother.

A faster pallet break is interesting, I've often liked the idea of Amanda having additional tools to aid her breaking pallets faster with a unique animation... I imagined a crowbar, a bit like how Charlotte breaks pallets with her hook weapon thing. Vaulting faster is Myers thing though, so wouldn't really wanna steal that from him.

Bro I have the Pig on its way to P100 (92), I don't see the problem with the Pig having the same speed as Ghost Face in doing the "TBAG" let's grant that he will still be a Tier C or C+ Killer, love this Killer a little, the Ambush the same I don't know how your MMR is but the Survis that I get drop the pallet before it reaches a "certain loop" to force me to turn or break... (this is very serious even a low category survi can learn to do that) Myers can jump faster from the base, it's time for Ghost Face and The Pig to be able to do the same... (and break pallets too) after all they have no map control and suffer a lot against SFW (Survi with Friends) Remember that Pig and Ghost are memes just like the old Freddy

You have to be really bad if your giving a killer tier 3 bloodlust, because shift teching is easy and instantly losing chase immediately reduces bloodlust by one tier.

Yes we are bad, we can't bleed a high MMR survi without getting 2-3 GEN made, which buff the perks, I accept being bad at this game

Wdym? Rapid is balanced, it doesn't need to be touched. My unbound idea is also pr balanced, ur essentially forcing people to leave loops. Thats pretty fair on most maps with healthy rng.

Edit: the only change that should be made to most activation perks like rapid brutality would just be to make it activate upon attack recovery. For barbecue make it active once the hook action is complete so u get full value.

All chase perks deserve a mini buff

  • @danielmaster87 said:

Your idea is good. And you are right on what is wrong with these perks. They operate off of a fantasy land which doesn't exist, where the killer gets as much value from "playing from a losing position" perks/playstyles as he does pure gen defence or chase perks, and magically gets tons of momentum out of nowhere to bring the whole game back. That's like 1% of matches for the killers who actually try these builds. Deadlock is pathetic slowdown, not even 30 seconds. But compared to Eruption and trash like that, it's actually the better option. Shows you that the killer "meta" is just scraped from the bottom of the barrel, instead of legitimately strong or valuable stuff.

It makes sense for Fire Up to have SOME effect before the first gen pops, because if your first chase costs you 2-3 gens, which it all too often does, you're now less than 5 minutes from the match's end, giving you barely any time to use the increased kick speed. Even if you get max stats, and actually delay the end with No Way Out, so what? You're breaking pallets much faster, but the survivors are just pre-dropping everything because they can, because there's too many pallets. Even at the weak pallets, survivors would probably force you to Bloodlust them down rather than giving you value from your perk. And Fire Up x5 is not going to let you get the survivor before they get to the next loop, which is kind of the point of the perk. Blight and Wesker can barely even catch up after breaking pallet. That's how close together all these loops are.

And like you said, Fire Up gets stacks upon gen completion, so survivors who want to theoretically play around Fire Up would just 90% the gens and then do them all. Even doing that terrible play, the survivors would be advantaged, because you chose to bring Fire Up instead of an actually useful perk. This is why half of all killer perks see almost no play, because nobody wants to test and experiment with garbage options.

You know what I mean... it's not about being Main Survivor or Killer, it's just that things are really bad, I'm glad there are people who share the same opinion as me.

    No.

How a match normally goes is 2 gens pop roughly when you get your first down or 2. Now an argument could be made if there were no other perks or add ons that gave action speed bonuses, but there are plenty.

If we were to use your version, straight from the get go you basically have Brutal Strength and a better Michael Tier 2 passive since again, 2 gens usually pop by the time you get 1 or 2 downs (the pick up speed bonus is just the icing on the cake)

Then theres stacking it with other perks or add ons (which will already be insane btw, Bambam/Brutal + Fire Up bouta go hard)

Fire Up will be just fine as is and definitely see more use once it reaches live

Super Broken Fire Up + Brutal Streght??? NAH ... Survis can repair more fast with no Gen Perks 😪

I play the PTB and it's not strong, don't talk nonsense

From the ptb it's stated that it didn't have a cooldown

But in the dev notes it now has a cool down

I would assume it was a mistyped cause if not then why bring back a cooldown, bloodlust takes quite a long while to have this perk activate

Behaviour doesn't care about what the public wants, FIRE UP is still garbage, Wake Up has become the worst Survivor Perk, Vigil is broken

Behavior you could stop making mistakes in this Freddy Update…

Fire Up: Need to start with 1 token at the beginning
Wake up: Leave her as she was before, please...
Vigilia: Leave her as she was before this PTB

Dark Arrogance and Fire Up absolutely need number buffs, with Brutal Strength also being on this list.

Superior Anatomy is okay-ish, but could get small buffs, and Bamboozle is already great.

Edit: Rapid Brutality and Unbound both also need buffs.

The problem with Anatomy Superiory is that it only works (only 1x) , when the survivors know that the killer have Anatomy Superior or Bamboozel etc... it becomes much easier to counter, I would make Anatomy Superior jump a little faster and reduce the cooldown (Literally with superior anatomy in shack survi can easily reach the jump)

  • Brutal Streght in 2025, It's not good anymore, it needs a buff

Rapid Brutality 5% for 5 seconds now 10% for 15 seconds.

The fact we're trading off bloodlust that has a max of 15% for infinite amount of time as long as your in chase is completely ridiculous plus the fact getting a hit takes time away from your haste as well

Yes I also think that Rapid Brutality should not lose off bloodlust, This is so ridiculous

  • In my opinion this 2 killers just deserves buff (no rework) Trickster 4.4 is horrible

    I want Pigg BUFF

honestly, i really agree with these! brutal strength buff would actually add more pressure and i feel like it would be more fun and i feel like the perk would be used more often. with fire up, i feel like 6/7/8% is a bit of a stretch, i feel like it would settle well on both ends if it was 4/5/6% or 5/6/7%. the other buffs i have no in-depth opinion on but i do think the buffs would be pretty cool.

I mean you're right if we put perks together to combine it, but fire up currently with its 6% (and if it started with 1 token) if it were used as a single perk of that style it would still be very useless, it wouldn't be very meta either if we put it together with bamboozel or brutal strength because we wouldn't have anti gen perks, I think 8% with 1 token from the start of the game would be fine, in the end game that perk doesn't make much sense due to the wear and tear on the map.

I don't think they're all bad; I use Bamboozle, Dissolution and Machine Learning on the reg and they help me in ways regression never could.

For example, some survivors play too safe and have multiple cooldowns to deny hits. No amount of Pain Res will ever let you punch through perfect coordination, but Machine Learning could help you bulldoze through and brute force some action

BAMBOOZLE is the most overrated perk in the game xD (full W and go to other loop) just needs a little speed boost, I don't want a super buff… Brutal Streght also

A few days ago I asked the community if the chase perks were good, as a result of which they were all useless and easy to do against my final suggestion and buff them all.

Bamboozel --- it's very easy to do counter with going full W, let's slightly increase your jump speed
Vaulting speed by 12/14/18% (mini buff)

Brutal Strength --- should break little faster
    25% (mini buff)

Fire Up --- I believe that your big problem is no started with 1token and survi can repair 3 gen at the same time so.. how about starting with 1 token …. reduce it to 5% per token
    (30 total%) (Rework buff)

Dark Arrogance --- The problem with this perk is the pallet stun, how about instead of climbing it we lower it like Enduring? Reduces the duration of Pallet Stuns by 10% and Vaulting speed by 22/24/26% (Rework buff)

Superior Anatomy --- It's always been a very bad perk, we should lower the cooldown and increase the speed
Increases your Vaulting speed by 40/45/50 % (coldown 10s)
    (Big buff)

Batteries Included --- Why would the killer chase in a completed gen? Let's raise it to 15m from the completed gen
    (big buff)

It would be a great idea to stop seeing 4 anti gen perks and full camping these perks are good but no one uses them because of the weaknesses that are so bad… lets try to buff little of them

That means that with 2 gen pops and you already have Brutal Strength in addition to all the other bonuses the perk provides

The perk will be just fine and actually worth picking up with this buff.

In fact, Brutal Strength should be (mini buff) look at this post where I posted a gif of the differences between using it and the default

Fire Up- Increase 6/7/8% (start with 1 token) (48% total)

“If by "regular" you mean "against awful survivors", than maybe yes.”

    Says the awful killer player

It's obvious that he doesn't have our MMR, the chase perks are super useless in (HIGH/MEDIUM MMR) because of how easy it is to counter once you know what we already have.

  • I still think 6% is not enough...
    6/12/18/24/30

    It should go up to
    7/14/21/28/35

Or start with a token (max6)
    6% 12/18/24/30/36
    5% 10/15/20/25/30

    My suggestions are:
8% but start with 1 token (48% in total)
Raise it to 9% would be... 9/18/27/36/45%

It wouldn't be broken even if it was combined with other perks such as jump speed or strength

They are all garbage, that's why killers use 3-4 anti-gen perks and full camping and tunneling games

Chase perks are healthy for the game, there is more chase and less camping, the killer would move more, if he camps he is prejudiced for not having anti-gen perks, the games would be more fun for both sides

I agree but I wouldn't be opposed to Brutal Strength getting a 5% buff. Could be nice but probably wouldn't be that impactful. It's a 0.09 seconds difference.

Fire Up would probably need a secondary effect that is completely independent from how many gens remain. The perk is just bad and buffing it would mean to reward the killer for losing or performing poorly. That's not a great concept for a perk to begin with.

Dark Arrogance is a perk with no niche as far as I am concerned. In a vault build, it's over the top and unnecessary and both Bamboozle and Superior Anatomy are better, if you just want to use 1 perk to help you out with windows. That perk needs a rework.

Possibly I believe that superior anatomy and dark arrogance are the most uselles perks of killer, you never get to do anything with them in these loops unless you are Myers tier 3

She alright , shes annoying enough where instead of mend similar, shes a walking gen slow down simulator. Most uses undying, plaything, devour either penti or face the darkness.

Couple with temper timer and the other one that reduces rbt timer on maps almost guarantee to at least 2k or 4k if played well.

Most tunnel or pre chase people with active rbts to deny you of taking it off which. I felt this was a poor designed killer that is the queen of punishing survivors for doing their main objective.

Killers from M1 have this problem, they are very slow, they should be faster in all their animations, a buff in all their addons especially the brown ones

  • @GlamourousLeviathan said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/435995/killers-chase-useless-perks

Here are other chase perks that really should get buffs:

Dissolution should have a longer duration and the icon of the perk shouldn't be revealed to survivors.

Spirit Fury should give the killer a smaller stun time at base. As it is now, it is only usable with Enduring.

Hubris should have a longer duration. Very few killers can actually cat h the survivor with a M1 after a stun.

Beast of Prey should trigger bloodlust faster. Bloodlust takes a long time to activate, which makes this perk really useless.

Game Afoot should have a longer duration of the haste. As it is, this perks does basically nothing.

Two Can Play shouldn't even be a hex. The effect is too underwhelming to justify it being removable from the game.

Machine Learning should work like Eruption, in that way that you can apply to multiple gens. Triggering is very annoying and counter intuitive, because if you are kicking a gen, you are trying to protect it not allow it to get done.

Nemesis should apply a better effect to the survivor. Oblivious isn't really used in chase. If it was Hindered or Exhaustion it would give the perk a reason to be used outside of gimmick builds.

Unbound has the same problem as Dissolution, in which the duration is far to small to get any consistent usage out of it. Also, 5% haste is kinda insignificant for a perk that only lasts 10 seconds.

Play With Your Food suffers with the way you get stacks. Trying to find your obsession and wasting time losing chases with them is really detrimental. Either make it work with any survivor, or have you get stacks by hitting the obsession.

Unrelenting is kinda a bad designed perk. If you made the attack cooldown work against the endurance effect it would give the perk some niche.

Yes, there are actually many more perks that should have a buff, but I put the ones that I personally have the most fun with, such as having more speed in doing certain things. I hope that behavior reacts to this post. It would be an incentive to increase the chase and stop more camping.

I have a question. Do you remember the nerf to the pig that removed its ability to read the auras of Saw cells and added time to the timer? Why not remove the same auras for survivors? Why casualize an already simple game for survivors, where they only need to take 4 red parts with correction and win? They removed the delay, brought in the anti-camp system, but what about genrush? Why can't they nerf this system as well? Why have killer mains been getting so many nerfs for months now????

And another question. Do the developers really care that much about their game and the community as a whole?

(((PIG)) P100 here, in my honest opinion, with these buffs that have taken the survis all these years, the pig has to have a buff in

4.2 speed while it is without radio (your addon could do it (4.5/4.6) (((actualy 3.8)))

    +speed in doing "tbag"

    +Speed in placing traps

    +BUFF brown and yellow addons

    +Speed buff for Dash
