Mori spamming was an issue because it would pause the bleedout timer during the mori period. The only time where the bleedout bar would go down was when there was no progress bar for the mori. This would cause a survivor's normal 4 minute bleedout to get extended SIGNIFICANTLY. All of a sudden bleeding out for 4 minutes gets extended to 10 minutes or more, depending on how effective the person is at keeping a progress bar on the screen.

That is not what was stated by the developers of these forums. They said mori spam was not an issue, and not bannable, Because during the mori animation the bleedout timer was still running.

After reading that, I personally mori spammed (with clown of course) a ton of object SWF's, and got a temporary ingame ban for doing so. So why believe anything they have to say?

This endgame chat had me cracking up; I immediately thought of the first post.

  • @Peanits said:

None of those are bannable. I'd have to question why you would choose to go out of your way to do them, but they wouldn't get you banned.

It was also posted that mori spam wasn't bannable on these forums (because technically the bleedout timer is still going). But I know of people who received temporary in-game bans for doing it.

For the reasons? Why ~wouldn't~ you do this to some teabagging flashlight macro spamming survivor?

So you are saying that you are getting at least 3k on your every game in rank 1?

Rank doesn't mean anything; the matchmaking will technically give you the same survivors starting at rank 5 (in theory it's a 4 rank band).

If kills are your only goal, i'd just use agitation + iron grasp + NOED and hard camp the basement. You can get a 3-4k depip/black pip from camping, or a 1-2k pip from a normal game. It just depends what your goals are.

  • Demo.PNG

Probably my favorite build on him. Demo is a super weak killer, so spirit fury + enduring is my preferred way of getting some fast downs playing him. With no real slowdowns perks you will have to play like a scumbag at high ranks. Running slowdown perks instead of chase perks is a very greedy move that will be punished. Load into springwood against a full rank 1 lobby and you don't have spirit fury? You may as well just DC.

I love monitor on him since his terror radius is quiet to begin with, similar to Oni; so you will get many free hits because of it.

Sorry but that's a terrible build.

devour is just a big gamble

infectious is good on killer that can snow ball aka killer that can one shot, spirit ain't that.

    bbq is what ever

stbfl is for killer that walk, you don't walk you use your power to hit them.

Before you ask, yes i have a better build

    Stridor, Sloppy, Pop, Nurses

also good are bbq and m&a

also also if you struggle in early game, discordance or corrupt intervention are your friends

I agree with that; personally I don't go into any red rank killer games without corrupt since the ruin nerf. Having 2-3 people spawn on top of generators and begin working on them within 5 seconds of a match starting is just crippling even to the strongest killers in the game. It basically guarantees you will lose a gen for your first chase unless you absolutely body the survivor (which spirit can do). It doesn't buy you much time, but it buys you time during your weakest stage of the game as a killer (3 survivors on gens, with you chasing 1).

    Spirit.PNG

This is probably my favorite low-economy spirit build. You spawn in, find your first chase immediately, and can start regressing gens and applying pressure from there. I don't play her without stridor since there's typically 2-3 iron wills a game at red ranks and it can be hard to hear footsteps if there is chase music in the background. I used to use monitor but whispers lets you just jump straight onto a generator with almost warning anyways.

  • He is a worse ghostface without the right build or add-ons. Without a tombstone there is no reason to use him for single targets over ghostface.

With normal EW3 add-ons he needs IF or he is still a worse ghostface (unless you are camping people to half with the remaining power).

But with IF or a tombstone he is way more powerful than ghostface once he tiers to 3. It's just a question of how many gens did it cost you to get there.

  • Honestly before I even watched this video I figured he would 4k. Because why would he be posting videos where he loses on youtube? Lol.

  • I think it could be a decent gimmick on Freddy or Billy. Especially class photo Freddy. Hook someone, pop a gen, go undetectable, then reappear at any gen with no terror radius and survivors having no idea which one you are coming from. If they were already asleep? Well, easy chase for you either way.

Sure, any killer can camp. But no one can build around it as effectively, and get away with it as consistently, as Leatherface can. At least in your scenarios, there's the likelihood that at least someone will make it out. It's very rare to see a basement save vs. a camping Leatherface go well.

I completely disagree with that. At red ranks, devoting 2-3 perk slots in an ~attempt~ to get basement hooks is a super risky all-in gamble with a killer as weak as leatherface. You can get circles run around you with no real answer and maybe your first down is on the wrong side of the map?

He can keep people in the basement sure, by camping it super hard (and nobody will save unless he has insidious). But he could just hold up his saw at any hook in the game and accomplish basically the same thing without needing 3+ perks to do it.

I'd argue all the super strong chase killers, like nurse / spirit / etc, have a much stronger basement game since they can just run agitation and that's it. And they have a solid plan B if the basement ends up in some screw off corner of the map.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1338935#Comment_1338935

There's counterplay to the Trapper and Hag scenarios. If I'm going for a basement save in a game vs. those two, I know that I need to be careful, essentially squander a bunch of precious time, and be VERY sure another teammate is distracting the killer before I go in. Freddy is less of a problem since a waking survivor can go for the save. The point is that there is still hope to pull off a rescue without it costing you the game.

If you go to a basement hook vs. Leatherface? Nope, sorry, you are dead to me and I will never risk it. There's a 100% chance he's camping you, and it will lead to a 2K at minimum if someone tries for it. This is a big problem with that specific character, and it's why he desperately needs a full rethink.

You know any killer with a 1 shot can camp the basement or a hook almost just as easily? Even killers without a 1 shot, like huntress / plague , can just stand at the top of the stairs and lob hatchets/puke down and there's no way you are getting out.

Basement builds on leatherface are almost a waste without insidious, because he can facecamp any hook in the game just as well. And if it's leatherface with a full basement build? Well, he is probably the most loop-able killer in the game.

  • Bubba.PNG

Prolly my go to for him at red ranks. You could drop bamboozle for a slowdown perk (pop goes) if you don't have a mori, but bamboozle is amazing since he will mainly be an M1 killer against good surviviors and it's nice to not have to screw around at jungle gyms or the shack for long.

You could also use monitor instead of bamboozle as well, but no slowdown perk and no mori could leave you having some ridiculously fast games assuming you are not decimating the survivor team.

You could swap out the beast marks for a primer build for an even faster saw but I prefer the saw speed since it will get you extra downs at certain loops.

Image yourself and other 3 put in a trial with a Monster. You hear a voice "2 of you will die", you have a choice to have a knife as your defense. Will you take the knife or not? Im sure 4 of you want the knifes.

Each survivor has the same escape chance, unless they have 2nd chance perk. Each individual survivor want themselves to escape. There is no reason a survivor sacrifices for another survivor (except swf). If there are only 2 alive, all of them want to make sure its them.

Image yourself as the Monster, will you kill the survivor with weapon or no-weapon? Then you may know why each of them has a weapon.

Sweaty, its about perspective. Loadout of escape free card, loadout of killing free card. Its not survivors fault to use multiple 2nd chance perks, its Devs allow them to do it.

4 DS's BTW, they barely got 2 gens done. PERFECT GAME AS LEGION. Don't people say he is the weakest killer all the time? The only one to DS me was Laurie and I let her because 2 were dead and the last was on death hook so I just let her do it because it didn't matter at that point.

    https://xboxclips.co/thesuicidefox/7682fe2b-6b97-477f-aea6-db5aa681bdbd

Another game with 3 DS's. Damn near close to a perfect game. 3 gens left. I played super fair BTW. DID NOT GET HIT BY A SINGLE DS.

    https://xboxclips.co/thesuicidefox/a6aaea91-439c-4b16-8879-5ce453d546f1

Trapper. Haddonfield. 2 DS. Yes one was green rank but they were 100% a 4 man SWF. 3 gens left, almost another perfect game.

    https://xboxclips.co/thesuicidefox/019ee29e-e0f7-4bce-afdc-021c2f9ee439

Forever Freddy on corn, 3 DS, FOUR ######### GENS LEFT. But Forever Freddy isn't very strong, nope not at all.

Only 1 DS, but again Legion, they did 2 gens, 1 was after 2 were already dead and I was just kinda being chill and not giving a #########. Almost perfect game AGAIN.

PS these are only the clips on my profile and only since the last reset. I have maybe 50 more I never posted and hundreds more from over the last 2 years.

But yea, I don't play at red ranks at all nor do I ever deal with multiple DS.

    Check yo self.

    https://xboxclips.co/thesuicidefox

In case you want to see more of my clips.

Xbox is a joke compared to PC. When I switched to Xbox because I was annoyed at hackers I made it to red ranks within 2 weeks of playing killer. But then I went back to PC because I could not handle the lousy frame rates.

Legion is not the worst killer, not even close. It is probably a tie between pig or the demo.

Then they burn Unbreakable early. Change your build up to include some other perks to counter it like Deerstalker or Thana. Or don't slug survivors that weren't hooked in the last 60 seconds.

There are ways to play around both of these perks dude. Stop bitching about the perks and change your tactics.

You clearly don't play at red ranks if you are suggesting deerstalker as a counter to unbreakable. You can play absolutely perfect and the game is over in less than 4 minutes depending on what killer you chose.

"Burning unbreakable" means nothing if there are 3 of them in the lobby. Each unbreakable can reset the entire survivor team even if it takes the killer almost the entire game to achieve 3-4 man slugs.

What a joke. I already posted on these forums borderline perfect chases that end in 2-3+ gens completed when using the lesser powered killers at high ranks.

    "Free extra life"

Just. Slug. Them. Stop making excuses that you should be able to pick them up, go around and slug everyone. Killer can win games as quickly as survivors can do gens if you play like a scumbag. I get PLENTY of games of 4 stacks with 3-4 DS. Ask me how often I get hit by DS... VERY RARELY, almost every time is on purpose because the survivor is so eager to burn it with 4 gens left.

If you play like trash then it's not going to do much. I've seen many survivors use DS and get caught again 10 seconds later. Now there's nothing stopping the killer from just tunneling them again. If they use it early in the game, then they are probably going to die.

Where's that Doc meme when you need it?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1329650#Comment_1329650

Stop with this theory craft bull #########. There are a million scenarios you could give that favor either side in any which way you want. Fact is, if you find yourself in this position then you got outplayed. I would probably just hit the guy with BT so they have to waste time mending, then wait out the slug's DS. If there are only 3 gen, and 2 are incapacitated, then only 1 person can be doing gens. So unless you have 1 gen left, you can win in this situation.

Guys I play around DS all the ######### time at rank 1 as several different killers. IT IS NOT HARD TO BEAT. Seriously I'm literally getting headaches from the amount of bull ######### people spout about how DS is too strong. It's not if you change your tactics. Pretty simple. Stop being bots. I'm tired of being nice about it.

JUST SLUG when in many rank 1 lobbies there are 3+ unbreakables.

It doesn't matter how you argue that DS is a busted perk or not. It literally used to be a free extra hook state. There are maybe 1/10 survivor games where I can say "wow, DS really saved me there because the killer was tunneling me".

There are way more games where it is like "lol, im sitting in a locker and the killer 'found' me, get wrecked for 'tunneling' me"

DS used to be a free, paid DLC, life. It has moved on little from there.

  • @thesuicidefox said:

You are playing poorly because you shouldn't just pick them up like a bot. Jesus ######### Christ, slug the guy if he was hooked less than 60 seconds ago. Is it that hard?

I can't even tell if you are being sarcastic. The games at red ranks are over within a few minutes, win or lose. There is a reason that 3/4 or 4/4 survivors in my red rank lobbies typically will have DS.

In a worst case scenario, it is a free extra life. In the best case scenario, you can use it to bully the killer. Why not run it? Even if you play like absolute trash you can get value out of it.

"You get hit by it by performing too well"

Playing into a perk that your opponent obviously has instead of changing your tactics to counter it is NOT performing well. It's actually performing poorly. I swear the hoops you have to jump to come to the conclusion that you are playing well by GIVING your enemy what they want are massive.

Yeah, when I go across the map, hook someone else, then come back to someone working on a gen and get hit by DS I am playing poorly. It's not like it is an entire minute of invincibility (2x) in a game that can be over in 4-5 minutes.

  • DS is an overpowered perk and everyone knows it. You get hit by it by performing too well, as well as tunneling. I prefer to camp and tunnel out anyone who uses it. Especially if they sit in a locker to force it.

  • Playing survivor is the best way to learn how to play killer, especially the trap killers. I always place what people consider 'odd' traps (when reviewing vods of people I have played against) at loops even though in reality it's just a portion of that loop that needs to be run but is not commonly trapped.

  • @Orion said:

    Other (less complicated) options:

    • Increase regression speed
    • Speed up the "damage" interaction
    • Remove gen tapping (maybe make it so repairs don't start until the character is actually repairing the generator)
    • Add a very small instant regression (5% should do it) to each "damage" interaction (nerf PGTW accordingly)

How about they take a look into the endless second chance perks survivors can equip instead of adding more? I'd say that is one of the core problems of the game, survivors being able to make as many mistakes as possible and still being rewarded for it.

    https://clips.twitch.tv/PlayfulPrettyPuddingDuDudu

That is from like 20 seconds into my latest clown game, and of course dead hard for distance almost doubles the length of the chase. I get an infectious fright proc into another down maybe 15 seconds after downing her; which is instantly unbreakabled.

So I get one hook from almost two perfect chases, lasting 60-70 seconds total. In the time it takes me to go tunnel mori him, another 60 seconds, 2 gens pop. By the time the animation is done, another gen pops roughly 30 seconds after. So 3 gens in less than 3 minutes, when I am running corrupt intervention. And a huge portion of that can be attributed to second chance perks.

The new one sounds ridiculous, unlimited unbreakables + a styptic if I want to run a hex totem?

  • @JustCats said:

It was an honest ask, no reason to lie on the rank - not sure if I'd classify it as high rank, but it's high enough that I'm out of 1/2 reds + green/browns territory and just running into a big leap in terms of caliber of survivor.

Recommendations for killer if I like Pig who might also have perks that would be useful for her/elsewhere?

I prefer ghostface for all my stealth killer games these days. You need solid M1 gameplay, but are rewarded with 1 shots if you sneak up on people with tracking perks instead of just a single stealth hit. But you can take single stealth hits easily as well if you don't want to stalk.

His base kit + perks are ok (just don't use furtive chase). Myers is a close second but he can have some rough early games and has some really bad maps (anything with corn). Myers has the best perks of the 4, play with your food and save the best for last are both very good, though PWYF really requires nemesis (oni perk) to shine.

Neither wraith nor ghostface have top tier perks. Pig's make your choice is very, very good if you prefer a certain playstyle (returning to hook instead of finding new chases). I would grab that before moving onto anyone new if you already have her decently leveled.

  • @TheRockstarKnight said:

    Clown, for both categories.

Against Clown he's nauseating to face because of his VFX when you're intoxicated. It makes me wanna puke at times.

He's also really dull. In general his power means you either trick him into gassing one loop while you head to another or you pre-throw the pallet to avoid getting hit.

He's like the M1'iest and most boring of the M1 Killers. Even Legion is better because they regularly go "WAAA UGH OOOO!" when they DS themselves, and that's pretty entertaining.

As Clown it's the same as above. Dull.

You throw projectiles in the general area of a given loop and then you break a pallet or hit a Survivor.

You can't pull off any uniquely Clown tricks, do any cheeky or clever things that an M1 Killer couldn't, or otherwise use your experience with his power to do anything cool or fun.

He's just really boring. If it weren't for his asthmatic laugh and goofy cosmetics I'd honestly never play him.

And even so my Clown games are few and far between.

I disagree with that, getting the bottle tosses down is practically an art form. There's tons of loops where you need to throw the bottle at the right area at the right time to actually score a hit instead of just forcing the pallet drop. Landing shots into objects above survivors is always better than landing it at their feet, and requires good aim mid-chase. Some loops you need to lob it completely up over the loop onto the other side instead of just throwing it at their feet, especially if they are about to go around an LOS blocker. There's also loops where the gas clips through the walls, allowing for very cheeky bottle hits. And all of this is in addition to needing pretty strong M1 gameplay and map knowledge to begin with.

Now, from the survivors side, going up against it is very lame I agree. But I love playing clown.

  • @JustCats said:

I appreciate the advice aside from "get better" (that's why I'm posting lol). I'm not godawful at ending chases - while I probably shouldn't be rank 8 I didn't get there entirely by happenstance - but yes there is room for improvement obviously there. I don't have any chase perks either, really, so a similar situation as the gen repair perk thought. I'm really working with not much more than Pig stuff.

I'm on PC. Thank you for the streamer/youtube link, I'll check that out.

And yes, usually my thinking was to do a scouting round to identify the weakest link (injure, take the first loop, see if they're really good - if so move on) and get as quick a down and cage (hopefully before 1st or 2nd gen) so I could start pushing my terms instead of being wholly reactive. I don't worry too much about defending early gens and primarily try to protect a close cluster. It's just when things are obviously coordinated that things start to really break down as everybody's got multiple second chance perks etc, so even poor loopers can delay me long enough that the genrush feels unbeatable (I see a ton of DH/DS/SW combos in these groups). When they all bring flashlights it's even worse. I kick the gens to activate Surveillance, btw, moreso than to slow down the repair. I don't generally crouch unless I know someone's on a gen and I have an angle or someone is about to take a long loop stretch with no window/pallet.

I'd like to keep playing Pig to get better but it sort of sounds like I need the perks and just transfer the chase mechanics and improvement to whoever that is, and revisit later. Kind of a bummer but I guess that's how it goes. Again, I appreciate all the responses guys.

She is just the worst stealth killer. That's all there is to it really. You basically have to dedicate 2 perk slots to even get stealth hits in, where-as killers like wraith or ghostface get them base-kit. Myers needs 1 perk (monitor + abuse) for stealth hits, but also has the capability to demolish an entire team in one power activation once he reaches tier 3.

All you get in return are the bear traps that have the potential to do absolutely nothing; and are not threatening without running at least purple add-ons.

If you did make it to high ranks with her though, you would be able to transition into any other killer easily though.

  • You have to improve your chase game, tile running, and moonwalking + mindgames. Most high ranking pig players, including myself, run at least 2+ chase perks on her.

I would never want to take her into a game without some combination of brutal strength, enduring, bamboozle, or spirit fury. Personally I do enduring + brutal strength most of the time because spirit fury; while super powerful, can be countered. As a mostly M1 killer, eating lots of pallets vs good players is almost unavoidable if you want to get chases done in a reasonable amount of time. Respecting pallets is terrible, allowing survivors many more loops if they don't hesitate. But eating multiple pallets can be crippling without enduring.

Don't bother crouching gen to gen unless you are running whispers (preferable whispers + monitor) or have a perk that gives you confirmed locations (BBQ, Thrilling Tremors, Surveillance). It takes too long, just running around almost ignoring your crouching power is the best option most of the time.

I also tend to play the M1 killers pretty scummy, because vs. full red rank lobbies you will literally not have time to do a 12 hook game unless you are running pop goes the weasel and the survivors are way below your skill level. To 4k, it is snowball, tunnel, camp, or lose. Your best bet is to just murder someone as fast as possible, as early as possible, and play the 3v1 from there.

  • It's just a terrible perk. Pretty much only used for the cool graphics on the icon, as well as the satisfaction of killing someone in the basement just a tiny bit faster.

Lowering the odds from 4% to 3.4% is basically nothing, and almost every other perk in the game will help you more even if you do manage to get basement hooks.

Yeah autocorrect but his flick isn't as good as youd think it doesnt go around corners properly maybe its just console

His flick is kinda filthy tbh, sometimes when I get downs with him I think "damn that was ridiculous". Especially when it's something like following a survivor completely around the shack and then downing them almost around a corner.

But I would not want to play him with a controller. When I do huge flicks I actually have to drag my mouse multiple times across the pad to get a really nasty curve in. I also think it would be bad since I don't think you can moonwalk with a controller? Which could make it hard to get the initial M1 hits in I would think.

Id probably avoid Oni, Clown, Nurse, Huntress, Deathslinger, etc with a controller since they all require alot of precision with the attacks.

  • Glitch. It has happened to me a couple of times and it was impossible to end the game, resulting in me having to DC because I was stuck frozen on the hook and the end game collapse did not kill me.

I've also had games as killer where someone is frozen on the hook or gets stuck in place after being unhooked, which I assume is the same issue.

Here’s the thing I agree with Gatsby. You don’t need to do these 10 lap loops around one pallet, faking pallets and finally burning Dead Hard to get 5 more laps... there are so many pallets on most maps!

If you drop pallets safely and force the killer to commit to kicking before you run off you can waste so much time. If all 4 survivors simply play safe while looping, and do gens while someone else is being chased the math is almost impossible for the killer. Luckily survivors love to stealth and otherwise waste time, they also camp pallets and end up eating hits as they drop tjem.

Isn't that what should make up the top tier players in the game though? The one's who are using every resource available to it's full potential while also being able to mechanically outplay opponents?

  • @gatsby said:

If a Survivor knows how to chain loops and use every pallet, they can hit Rank 1 easily. Even if there's no real looping or much mindgaming. It's way more about having good pathing on a lot of maps to not get caught in a dead zone than actually being awesome at looping.

There is no skill to reach rank 1 as survivor. You make 1 save a game, do a single generator, and run the killer for 30 seconds and you reach rank 1. You have to get massacred as survivor to depip. But as a killer you have to 3-4k every single game to rank up.

Being awesome at looping involves way more map knowledge than most people I see at red ranks. I see tons of people who don't even try to loop jungle gyms or the shack at rank 1-2.

That's just how the game is. Gen speeds go so fast that it's more punishing to the Killer to have a long first chase than it is for the Survivors to have a bunch of pallets wasted.

I don't think the top ranks in the entire game, in theory, should be people who just throw the best pallets without even attempting to loop them. You can run a new killer for the length of the entire match off that one pallet alone, and you are telling me a rank 1-2 can just stand at it and toss it and that makes them one of the best players in the game?

wich is everything you need if u get a down and survivors didnt finish 3 gens is already did its job because you are around the gens wich arent blocked.

That's only assuming you are either running whispers, are very familiar with the map spawn locations, or are playing a stealth killer. Having balance dictate you losing 1 gen for your first hook being normal is implying you will always be able to snowball off it.

  • Corrupt is a band aid to the insane gen speeds. But a worse band aid than ruin. The overwhelming majority of survivors, even at high ranks, are super boosted due to the ease of the pipping system.

You can hit rank 1-2's who will camp the shack pallet, arguably one of the best in the entire game. Against a good team or SWF, corrupt is going to buy you around 30-40 seconds, assuming they do some worthless dull totems and don't just run at generators. There are still plenty of un-counterable safe loops and god windows depending on what killer you are playing.

At red ranks, they're usually slugging with Infectious Fright at above 3 gens. A really good nurse, billy or oni will just eat the unbreakable and continue chaining downs.

When you have 3 survivors down, and are chasing the 4th, but someone pops unbreakable and basically resets the entire game; that is underrated? It's probably the premier crutch perk next to DS.

  • It used to be under powered unless you used combat straps as pig, but now ghostface can proper teabag any survivor.

  • You literally don't have to do anything to get the hatch. You can AFK in a locker half the game with left behind and a key, and get it. All you have to do is outlast the people actually attempting to progress the game.

Yeah but its not my fault when I run the killer for quite a while just to get teammates who DC, kill themselves on hook, or don't do gens. Like a mori cuts off about half the time a survivor will be in game for, last time I checked my game wasn't ended that prematurely because of a key.

??? Keys literally cut the amount of gens that need to be done by 2. I definitely get SWF groups that swap to a map and a key at 6 seconds before the game starts, and then they offer springwood / haddo or some other busted map.

That means to win and pip you need to 3-4k before 3 gens are done? And at high ranks if you are not playing an S tier killer your first hook will usually cost you the first gen. So you get 2 gens to get a 3k which pretty much means your only option is going to be to slug/tunnel/camp hardcore into the usual BT/DS/Unbreakable combos.

  • It's definitely going to be "I'm all ears" so you can nail people through walls with his power.

    Rip my girl Hag ;(

She’s one of my favourites, I don’t understand why so few people play her. Might be due to her completely different play style compared to other killers which most people don’t know how to use. Once you learn she’s so much fun.

Anyways as to the actually stats, it’s very well made lots of interesting information. The one thing I could have asked for was specific kill/escape rates for each killer. To give a sense of how well each killer was made,

Honestly, I think hag is probably one of the best if not the best solo Q stomper in the game; assuming you have really good map knowledge. Oni might be better, but hag can just be so incredibly oppressive in the hands of a really good player. She's the only killer in the game that can essentially be chasing 2+ people at the same time. I'm happy more people don't play her.

Here's like 2 minutes of red rank hag gameplay, in the first 2 minutes of the match, from the survivors POV. Can you imagine if all those traps were silent?

This is what I do, good build on any killer really.

    I've been running:

    Monitor and Abuse

    Thrilling Tremors

    A Nurses's Calling

    Corrupt Intervention

When I was first playing him, I did run pop, but found that I only used it once or twice through out the session so I dropped it. Pop is still good, but his lower terror radius allows him to sneak up on survivors and I'd rather go for the chase than stop and hit the gen. I also got the feeling this guy might be a bit too slow to play gen defender and I had more luck playing aggressively.

He's so fun to play as, but obnoxious to play against that I genuinely feel guilty about running gen slowdown perks on him. Corrupt won't make it any harder for them to complete generators, but it will help mitigate the "Free" gens they get at the start of the match.

Nurse's takes advantage of this lower terror radius, but I do use it as experimental perk slot.

Thrilling can be swapped out for BBQ or some other tracking perk. I still haven't rolled BBQ but you know what.. Thrilling is really good. I always thought it was a worse BBQ, but man was I wrong. I'd say its equal where it matters. Game state Information. Transporting a body is the safest time for survivors, and thrilling will either lock the gen or reveal them to you.

I think he play well add-on less too, but if you did want to run some, you'd probably run cooldown + reload, or double reload/cooldown. The railroad spike is pretty good too. You kind of have to heal against a Deathslinger and the mangled effect will have some value.

Coin is a meme, but honestly, do we really need more insta-downs iridescent add-ons?

I think his reload add-ons are his best, but I really like the prison chain / reeling speed. The chain lets you pull off some pretty disgusting loop-stopping shots. There's tons of pallets you don't have to kick as deathslinger and the chain turns them even more unsafe.

Yup I was apart of that discussion at one point! It's still daunting, lol. I mean, I've spent since Feb getting this far though, so I'll just have to be patient and try not to focus on it. They really should do something about the grind however, because it's only going to get worse with each new chapter, and it already deters some potential players.

Considering 95% of the perks in the game are junk, and survivors are essentially skins, I don't know why people insist on having every perk on every character.

Stock david king / bill already come with almost the best survivor builds in the game.

You can have full meta builds with 2-3 characters to 40 on both sides.

It doesnt matter that there made other killers like her after they nerfed her. In a perfect game ALL survivors/killers should be viable at any rank. This game will never be perfect but they went a step backwards with her rework, They took a viable killer and gutted her. They should have just changed the add ons and it would have been fine.

I hate to break it to you, but that is not possible. The differential between SWF on voice comms and solo Q is too large. The game was designed around solo Q, and it needs to be kept viable or it will die off (deathgarden died because it was made for SWF).

There are only a handful of killers that can really deal with a stacked survivor group, and they are overpowered against solo Q teams.

How to fix that? I don't know and I don't care. It's not like im getting paid to deal with the problems.

Her basekit was perfect. It's what every killer should be balanced towards. Old nurse could 4k without add ons or perks provided you were skilled. Survivors can go perkless and stand a very good chance but it's unfair for the killer to stand a chance without the meta? The add ons needed to go but her kit didn't need any adjustments. Putting "undeniable fact" at the end of your sentence doesn't make you right.

There are already replacements for her. Oni can get a 4k off 2 M1 hits. Freddy is outrageous in general. Spirit is still dumb since you can put on stridor and collect your free downs.

  • A good nurse would, and still can, absolutely slay. I hated going against nurse for probably more than 80% of my games when I played survivor. When I started playing this game over 3 years ago, I played like 2 games of billy and then said "f that, im gonna play the best one" and it happened to be nurse.

Even now I rarely have games as short as I do on nurse, she has some very bad maps, which is why I think spirit is actually better.
