Is there any good tips or tricks hag can do? Or a guide on where or how to know when to place traps? I dont know any builds either

Whenever using a new killer, use their ability a lot. Trial and error. Hag, don’t chase for extended periods. Hit and reset traps.

Trap under hooks 100% of the time. Don’t handicap yourself.

Watch streamers play Hag for strategies.

Use monitor and abuse. She has a small terror radius naturally. Monitor reduces it to a laughably small size.

Wear dark cosmetics. Being small and unnoticeable helps to get hits. Being bright is pay to lose.

I'm not a great killer by any stretch of the imagination but I usually do well with hag. I can't say if this is generally good advices but they work for me.

My advice is to put down traps inside loops (not windows or pallets though), in pathways survivors are likely to go through and next to gens that *have been* worked on. If you've noticed which gens are popular to do, you can trap those too even before someone works on them.

Especially if you're using the addon that makes putting down traps quick, it may be worth it to put down one if you're facing a loop. Most likely, this will make the survivor stop looping you and you've only lost a few seconds, which you might easily make up by them doing a tiny mistake.

My best advice, though, is to learn when and when not to spawn to triggered traps (even if this may be obvious). It's not always good to automatically spawn to traps that have been triggered, you've got to.

As for perks, I always recommend Nurse's calling (as you'll often easily manage to give multiple people slaps, even if they don't go down immedietly) and Sloppy butcher (same reason). I personally use The third seal, Overcharge and Dark devotion a lot

Playing survivor is the best way to learn how to play killer, especially the trap killers. I always place what people consider 'odd' traps (when reviewing vods of people I have played against) at loops even though in reality it's just a portion of that loop that needs to be run but is not commonly trapped.

If you want someone to watch (as someone has already posted) I'd go to Space Coconut or Otzdava. Space is a pretty big brain hag, and has made severa guides to her. Otz is just an all-round amazing player, relatively wholesome whilst also being incredibly educating. Int3r4ct's Entity Education series is also pretty useful, detailing their power and add-ons in exact numbers (making it nice and easy to understand :D). Their channels are hyperlinked below.

First hour Hag main in Dead by Daylight. Most stuff here should resolve around her. This includes: Gameplay, guides, tips, more gameplay, different strategie...

That guy is an amazing Hag. Just watch his videos to pick up some pointers.

Some things to remember when playing Hag:

1. Always place traps. If someone trips one, replace it.
2. Never get into a long chase with a Survivor. It will lose you the game. Your best bet is to hit and fall back. Stay in your territory and work the Survivors to your advantage. Your goal is to hit a Survivor and then down them with a placed trap, not to chase them.
3. Find a spot with a bunch of gens and trap that area. No need to worry too much about the early gens. They can't win if they can't do the last two.
4. Make Your Choice is one of the best perks for her. It basically guarantees you a free hook if you use it correctly.
