Yeah but there's still an average. Billy is supposed to excel on big open map due to his power but let's be honest, if you get hit by his chainsaw you were out of position in the first place unless he has undetectable status from a perk. His power is next to useless on most tiles while Bubba's power can be used on a lot of tiles. A good Bubba can get a chainsaw hit on a T&L while most killer struggle to get a single M1.
A good Bubba can be stopped in their tracks by a clever survivor, but even the cleverest of survivors are going to have brain farts, and even the best of Bubbas are going to make slip-ups. That's why you can't get far with just 4 games.

Killer depend on map & RNG. Some killer do better on some specific tiles while other can't used their power, some do better on bigger map than other, some are stronger vs window and other vs pallet.
Right, the playing field was unbalanced and variable to start with. Some got maps they excel on, some got maps that they don't, so they all have a different benchmark.
-
The female survivors tend to be smaller but their hitboxes are the exact same size. I personally prefer the male characters because their models reflect the hitboxes a bit better (so I don't get tilted over Huntress shots) and they're a lot quieter.
-
Don't use her ambush much. Only use it at short loops where you can maximize its potential. Otherwise, it's better to M1.
In order for a RBT to activate, a generator has to be completed while it is on somebody's head. After 5 gens, any RBTs you put on will be useless.

This map doesn't have much window to begin with and the 3gen with a hooked survivor in the middle pretty much win him the game. Bubba camping a survivor in a 3gen at 5 or 4 gen pretty much guaranty a win unless he make ton of mistake afterward.
So then the judgement is on the maps, not the killers. A good experiment that you can gain reliable information from would have normalized other factors, including the map.

It shows that it's a win by Camping a hooked survivor inside a 3 Gen.
Thus the point of the post that Playing fair which Billy, Huntress and Deathslinger did in the videos made them lose the game but with Bubba who played scummy won.
The Bubba didn't win by camping; the survivor just played into his hands by going to the same exact area with no windows, no pallets. Huntress got a pretty tall map and the Billy played with quite a few mistakes. It's 4 games total, you can't extrapolate anything solid from that.
-
If you've seen what's on that VHS I'm sure you'd be in a state of mind to mix things up too.
(Hint: it's real-life footage of them putting real butter in tubs of I-can't-believe-it's-not-butter)
-
And people here think @Sluzzy is a troll.
-
You cannot take a sample of four games and take that as proof for any assumption about a game as complex as DBD. Meanwhile, the Bubba game went comparably well. Is that to say that Bubba is always OP and will always guarantee a 4k?

As someone who hasn't played Silent Hill, I wonder how Pyramid Head would react to someone who has done great evil but feels no guilt. Ghostface, Doctor, and Clown are all true psychopaths who feel no empathy or remorse. As a cluster of emotion, how does he react to people that don't feel the emotion that constitutes his existence?
Well, his role in this game seems to be different than in the Silent Hill games. He specifically exists as a manifestation of James' own self-guilt and his own desire to be punished. When James comes to terms with his guilt (after viewing the tapes where he literally kills his wife) and banishes the thought of Maria (the corrupted memory his wife), it just offs itself and never comes back. Obviously, that doesn't work in the game if Dwight can get on his knees, do a confessional, and literally kill the killer, so there's a bit of twisted lore here.
-
I saw that video too. The guy playing Billy lost because he didn't understand the nuance of chainsawing. Billy, just like Huntress, has massive potential for those cool trick shots that get you easy downs. Plus, he spawned in on a Coldwind map and survivors more or less stayed away from him. He missed his chainsaw a few, which is harder to use than Bubba's. Overheat hardly comes into play, when you're playing Billy properly.
Bubba managed to get a lot of downs because survivors literally went to that same dead zone; no pallets, no windows. They just walked near that rock structure, which is pretty much just handing the killer victory.
-
someone said "can I get an owa owa" and we owa owa'd for 15 minutes straight and then 15 minutes gay
and that's the story of my psychological development

Nothing is really "permanently broken" in the video game world, they're just hair-pullingly annoying to find and patch in a sea of features.

Oh, wanna play with numbers? That's the last statistics the devs showed at red ranks. He has among the lowest pick rates. He's obviously gonna be higher in lower ranks since new players are gonna try first what comes free with the base game.
Try again bud.

That chart seems to be off, or modified in some way. Do you still have the link to where you got it from?
Here are the ones that have been posted on the forum: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/200066/new-killer-statistics, https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/200114/kill-rate-pick-rate-charts,
Considering that Blight had a very high pick rate in yours, I think what you used was for the Blight PTB. PTBs function differently than regular games so don't rely on those for good statistical information.
Just based off of plain observation, we can already see that Billy is played more than Bubba. Arranged in order, we see that it goes:
2.08, 2.23, 2.76, 2.88, 2.94, 3.01, 3.57 ,3.64, 3.93, 4.30, 4.47, 4.53, 4.9, 4.96, 5.16, 5.68, 6.83, 6.95, 7.47, 8.39, 9.31, with Pyramid Head being a possible outlier. Billy is right above the median, far from being one of the "least played" killers. Discounting Pyramid Head as an outlier, this might have been when he received that M2 to M1 cooldown buff, the average is literally right on Billy at around 4.5 I probably mispunched a number on the calculator on the first round, but Billy is right in the middle when it comes to pick rates.
-
Billy has a pretty healthy 4.54% pick rate, which is higher than the general killer average of 3.94%. You might want to have checked your premises before trying to explain them.
-
Yes, but you have to consider that the PoV isn't necessarily the eyes, it's more like the nose. With Pig, she actually looks down a little while crouching, so you have to imagine it as if they glued her eyes pretty much on the bridge of her snout.
-
that explains your behavior on these forums

It's ... unclear. You're still moving the game along with Victor, but you're still preventing one guy from moving the game along. That's probably why they're removing Charlotte's collision after a while of idling her.

Hey guys! I wanted to know what would be a good generator build. I’m running Poised and Repressed Alliance. What other two should go with it? And if anyone knows some really good builds, shoot. I would like some ideas and stuff.
Poised isn't that great, repressed is just meh.
Try fast track, stake out, prove thyself, and deja vu/better together/detective's hunch. You don't necessarily want perks that'll help you after you do a generator, like dark sense, poised, etc., you want perks that'll help you do a generator.
That's if you're really committed to being the gen slave. But you're usually going to get interrupted by the killer, so I would run Fast Track, Stake Out, Iron Will, and Urban Evasion. With good enough map knowledge, you won't be needed detective's or other gen perks. Iron Will will help you ignore your health state and Urban Evasion lets you avoid chases. If you aren't the best immersed player, try sprintburst and running away early. Killers won't pursue you if you have too much distance on them.
-
Lucky (break) for me I run coulrophobia/deathbound anyways. Say goodbye to a perk slot you sorry, sorry souls.

Deathslinger could put his spear in my back, choke me out, step on me, and then spit in my mouth and I'd still go on with our wedding. uWuWuWuWuWuWuWuWu

Honey that's just Friday night for me. My solution? Bait out lockers and bring Iron Maiden. I also play Pig so they don't necessarily have the time to just idle around in lockers, they need to get out to get their traps off.

The RE chapter has been in development well before it was announced.
It's not an excuse.
RE chapter is now in the limelight and the most intense stage of development.
It's a complicating factor.

Sounds good. You could also have it so that if you're on death hook, the stun lasts longer. It's the "ultimate attempt to escape," after all.

No, there haven't been any mentioned buffs to any aspect of him. You might be playing against exploiters, or if they're crouching, there are certain add-ons that make him walk faster in the crouching state.

If phasing is just a power, how come flashlights cause the husk to disappear?

Father Gascoigne has the best music IMO. Imagine you're repairing gens when suddenly:
Micolash too, maybe. I liked the eldritch horror cult aesthetic of Bloodborne more than I liked the gothic beasts aspect of Bloodborne.
His power? Spam call beyond until every survivor literally just dies. Just spawn in, mash M2, and then everybody's dead.
-
Don't expect much. You have to come to an internal consensus before you can announce any decisions, and with BHVR's hands already more than full with the RE chapter, don't be surprised if they're a little busy.
It's not their job to let you in on every single interaction that goes on inside. Especially if they're not at a consensus, they're not going to be divulging little details like that. Mostly because such revelations are plain useless, but also because they can start a hype train that just leads right off a cliff.

Shirtless Davids are toxic usually. No thanks lol
Not as toxic as they are leading-cause-of-wanted-pregnancies in the US.
-
Orphan of Kos is overrated, get a blood-drunken hunter like the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst or Father Gascoigne. Everybody in Bloodborne has something terribly wrong with them so it'd probably be a killer-only chapter.
-
Fatigues won't really cap those really skilled I-Fright Nurses. Similarly to her last big change, it only raises her skill requirement. A simple fatigue period won't fix that, you need a full-on cooldown to prevent an inescapable snowball-death trap.

Killers are the draw of the game though. While I can see doing a lot of the killers idk if they will do survivor. It kinda sucks how slow BHVR is being about outside products and media of the game.
It's not really a priority for them, and they have bigger fish to fry with the RE chapter coming up.
You know what I'd love more than some stupid statues? Full-sized shirtless David body pillow. Why nobody in marketing has thought of this before continues to evade me.

Hag and Bubba. Freddy might be close, but all the Freddies I go against are foreheads.

-
Pig softly uWu's when you hit her with a pallet.
-
next step nerf m1, if you hit a survivor you die
-
They look pretty great, much better than where he is now, but some may be a little too far.
Iridescents are supposed to change up the killer's play-style, not necessarily be strong. The undetectable one is good, since it lets you set up a little highway of stealth, but extra wallhacks doesn't really shake up the game. I would also be cautious of the Crimson Ceremony Book and Scarlet Egg; the former would need to have it so that the pallet and wall absorbs the punishment of the damned, since destroying the pallet and still getting the down is very, very strong. Plus, do we really need more drop-the-pallet-or-die killers? As for the Scarlet Egg, I would be wary of making the punishment any more spammable since the recent changes.

Evolve being similar to among us or fall guys? Can you elaborate as to how the comparison fits?
Evolves player base died mostly due to marketing, but my main concern with dbd is the end of life game capabilities (eventually none since it's multiplayer only) being similar to evolves end of life.
I mean that it was the subject of massive hype, and then people just moved on. DBD and Evolve are pretty different too, so keep that in mind. Not to mention that DBD has regular DLCs of new content.
