the community: we don’t want a gen defense killer!

    devs: …

Seriously, what do you guys want as a killer? It seems the community is never satisfied.

I'm not defending the devs, and I can also agree that her 3 gen strat is pretty strong, but you have to see the hypocrisy here.

People want something that is interactive. Wesker and Blight have powers that work at loops but the survivors can actually do something about it. Knight and skull merchant force you to leave the loop unless your injured the skull merchant is just m1. The issue with so many killers in this game is that one side typically has hold on the reigns of the chase but never both. Killers that allow both parties to have interactive and skillful chases at the same time are going to be the most popular by default.

    Hey,

I just completed a challenge which uses the perk Stridor. I've never used it before and I'm confused why anyone would use it. I noticed no difference in volume, is the perk bugged or is it just that crappy?

I ran stridor and shadowborne only after 6.1.0 for a couple weeks. I could hear every single Ace from outside of shack, so it definitely does something. I really wanted to take in the ability to hear injured survivors after that patch dropped.

Killers with high ping would be dodged every game and wouldn't be able to play at all.

It shouldn't be possible to play if your internet is perma 150+.

  • I really don't think hook grabs should exist still but I would like to point out that every streamer I watch gets them validated more often than not.

Edit: It's actually just grabs in general. Quite a bit of the time a grab at a pallet gets validated into a hit. Memories of grab validation into dh validation come to mind as well. I even have a clip of getting grab validated into a missed hit because a laggy ash had lithe.

Don't see killers complain about sniffing survivors asses when they want a grab a healthy survivor while they are face camping, that mind is even more obnoxious and thats just a base kit feature of every killer.

So if DH goes because you don't want to sniff survivor's butts, then that stupid mind game also has to go

Ok I haven't done that in a year anyway lmao.

  • I counter dh more way more often than I get hit by it. People don't have the patience to not press e when a blight brushes past them in a rush. The only time I get hit by it is when the survivor manages to make me flick for it. But it's become boring and tedious to play against again. I feel exactly how I did before 6.1.0 again, bored of going against the exact same perk on repeat. Also the whole sniffing the survivors neck thing shouldn't exist.

That is not true. You basically saying you need to nerf everything that is popular. Perks can be meta and not be touched

That's a reasonable statement if something hasn't been meta for 90% of the games lifespan. Meta shakeups at the cost of gutting the most popular perks will increase this games lifespan and player base retention. Although in any other game is just called a patch.

  • @lifeisstrange said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3364588#Comment_3364588

Ok but since 6.1 and up killer meta is the same. 90% Use nothing but full gen kick perks to this day and time. I see vast different builds in survivors but rarely killer. Though ow I say for a poor huntress had an all full aura build and I run distortion xd. Still though ye no killer variety. I just hope people dont groan about bite the bullet or parental, So fun to lose killer and start self healing with 0 sounds which in some way made it more op than iron will.

I remember a spirit trying to phase back to an unhook i did and i was healing them with bullet and she phased past us lol.

Anyways I already listed the 20+ ways people could find old iron will survivors, so what was the issue on those 20 things that can be used to find survivors. Killers like doc made iron will lol. I rather face a team using iron will over boons or proof thy self.

I already said old IW was just at worst a 50/50 hold w to the next tile. The perk was ran as much as it was for a reason. Also killers have like 3 builds. One gen kick build, one slow down via pain res/dms for mobility killer and then heavy aura reading. Everything else is a meme except for a dedicated devour hope build that is risky. Out of those 4 builds how many killers can run something that's not the gen kick build and hope to succeed vs decent survivors? I despise the gen kick build but I understand why people run it.

  • Man people really liked that perk. Either it helped you stealth(the most boring gameplay for a killer to play against) or it helped you hold w from a mind game at a tile. I get it, I am a bill main. Characters can be loud and annoying, but you guys are being blinded to the fact the perk was op and unhealthy.

DBD players just don't get it. Perks don't have to be all powerful for ever, killers don't have to be all powerful forever. The player base will benefit from frequent meta shake-ups. If all meta perks got the IW treatment and more perks were buffed up more then this game wouldn't be dead for me right now. DH and Pain res got a slap on the wrist, when if other perks could take their place they could have been gutted.

I mean I get that dbd is the most competitive game most dbd players have every played, but things being rotated in and out of metas over years is a good thing that improves the longevity of the game. If you really want old IW + DH or either of them you simply want more power back even though they were hard over tuned. Most people don't really enjoy the same thing every game. Survivor side is at least a mix up of killers, but killer is just going against the same perks every single game on repeat. Most players aren't really that good so it just feels like your going against perks not even players at that point. In fact that's exactly how I felt in the months leading up to 6.1.0. Imagine if you had to go against legion every single game, how long until you got bored of it?

I really thought the next meta shakeup after 6.1.0 would be in October or November since they mentioned frequent updates, how disappointed I am to find out it's a yearly occurrence.

It's very apparent that players who mostly play Killer only desire to end the game as fast as possible <OR> make it as "unfun" for Survivor players <OR> a combo of both.

I regularly run into toxic killers.

I rarely run into bully squads.

I mean killers wanting to end the game quick is perfectly fine, I don't know how you got that from my comment. I don't like slog games that have very little skill expression on either side. Depending on what unfun means for you, the things included in that may or may not be toxic. A killer tunneling me or playing with strong perks to win is fine. A killer playing a 3 gen all game is a waste of my time.

I have run into one actually toxic killer in all my survivor gameplay. I regularaly run into squads who want to bully me, but I am not playing a weak killer and am equip to deal with it.

I mean, I mained hag for months after I started playing. Always setting up a web around a 4-gen. But playing now with perks that are really good at holding 3-4 gens, it's just boring and unskillful regardless of the killer.

  • I actually can't imagine playing for a 3 gen perma and dropping chase if 15 feet away from any gen in the 3 gen. A bot could pull of that game play and it's just as boring as playing vs bots.

  • @Xernoton said:

It's pretty clear that a large part of this community is not happy with the Skull Merchant and the Knight. There are different reasons why many people dislike these 2 killers. For one, neither of them is particularly strong and both have a strength in defending 3 gens. That is something that, I personally think, makes a killer boring and extremely tedious to play against.

Looking back to the killer that came before the Knight, Wesker, we've seen a lot of positive feedback. He had some problems (bugs and hitboxes) but otherwise many players were happy with him. That might have something to do with Wesker being a licensed character but I think more than that his power is interesting and fun for both sides. He has a strong anti-loop power that can be used in creative ways, a secondary power that feels like an actual threat and animations and sound clues that provide just enough information to counter him. Overall Wesker is a good example of a killer that feels strong and fun to play without being 'unfair'. In my opinion this is very fundamental for a 'good killer'.

So what do you think are the qualities that make a good killer, not just in strength but also in terms of how fun they are to play and play against? Which of these qualities do the killers you don't like lack? If you do like the Skull Merchant, what is it that makes her a good killer in your opinion?

Blight is literally the perfect killer( excluding a few add-ons) and will never be topped in terms of gameplay. He denies the worst aspects of the game for both sides and allows for the most amount of skilled play on both sides at the same time. Wesker was so well received because he is essentially a mildly different and weaker version of blight with slowdown built in. Blight has the most counter play in this game by far but none of it is available at any given time, he requires knowledge and skill to deal with him, something too many players lack or care for in this game. For all of my blight games I rarely receive any post game negativity especially related to blight. The only real post game negativity I receive is from comp teams that have egos and are genuinely not very good in chase imo, even though they have the skill of plat 1 players in league comparatively to dbd. They think just because they are better than all the terrible players this game consists of that they are good at this game, at least chase wise.

Anyway back to the point, if someone is complaining about blight they are really complaining about add-ons. Well, other than the hug-tech that any player with a little talent for video games and a little game sense under their belt can deal with.

At least in current dbd. If a killer lacks either mobility or some form of anti-loop, they cannot hope to have skill expressive gameplay. Survivor's don't want to go against a killer that makes them play like a bot. Killers in my experience want to play skill expressionless killers while also being able to contend with good survivors. I am also only talking about their kit, it's irrelevant how good of macro you need if the power requires zero thinking.

As with all games that are even mildly competitive, players want to be rewarded for skilled play. Not lose to something a newborn could pull of on either side.

Because when it works, and you've timed it well, it's worth it :)

That's like asking why use any perk? 😅 Why do you think?

Umm, unless you have bad ping you will never be exhausted on the ground. I have ran dh every survivor game for the last 6 months and have never been exhausted on the ground. It's either the killer hitting first or the survivor pressing e first, factoring in ping stated by a dev. Get better internet. I'm sorry you don't have the hold my hand baby validation from before.

Oh, I rarely complain. Because unlike you, I can accept that I am not really good at DBD and dont really need to bring the game down to a Level where I win most of my games.

And well... Eruption was objectively unhealthy. One single proc on a Survivor was basically adding half a Gen (again, to make it clear - ONE proc on ONE Survivor equals HALF a Gen...). Let alone that being able to do NOTHING for quite a big amount of time is just not good.

I don't agree with all the people saying dh is op still, it's not. It's just unhealthy game design, not game balance to have every killer need to bait it out every chase. It was funny after 6.1.0 to watch survivors dab after I bait it out and then hit them but now it's just more tedious than anything else. Some people complain because they don't think when they swing and some just don't have the patience to wait it out. But it is definitively bad perk design.

Excluding maps that make a blight flick for a hit often, that's typically map rng not any particular map. Sprint burst is way better vs blight than dh, but I am just tired of seeing it every game. People also bring up the skillful argument all too often, but it's not that insanely skillful. Just like I don't think alch/ring iri tag blight is ok just because it takes lots of skill and experience to make good.

    Mb I misread while tired.

  • I mean the person I responded to basically wrote nothing, that's why I broke it down so simply.

They said I feel thematically spirit should have no directional sound in phase and she's not that popular so the bug is fine regardless of her current strength. I heavily disagree with these things because it removes the counter play the character has and breaks chasses down to coin flips.

But yes, my comment was meant to be as dumb as it was.

The game's coding is a bit too unstable for too many players, with random disconnects and the like sadly common. This must always be kept in mind when discussing these penalties.

I mean most disconnects that happen in my games I can see visually and they are crashes/disconnects. I have had 2 legit DC's in the past 6 months and one was the server closing for everyone.

  • Blight can't carry this game hard enough to make up for the lack of skill on both sides and the """"""""""""""""FAST""""""""""""""""" meta shackups^TM(POG they nerfed thanat, buffed basekit bt to a reasonable level and then stopped updating the game balance wise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I thought the next meta shake-up after 6.1.0 was going to be October at the latest, how could any dev team consider it reasonable to call frequent updates every 7 months????? I know it's bhvr and I know quite a bit of their history on this stuff but this is almost unforgivable. Let's say they dedicated 2 people to work on the next balance update and then lets also assume they waited 2 months after the thenat nerf update for valid data, how could 2 people take 7 months to update 4 killers and 30 perks working 8 hours a day?

They released wesker peaking my hopes for this game and then release two garbage killer gameplay design even though I was super hype for knight based on the trailer just like artist.

I try and genuinely improve at survivor, but killers become carried by a build for a disgusting amount of time.

My current feelings towards playing dbd right now is exactly the same as the months leading up to 6.1.0. Nothing changes, low skill players playing in very predictable ways getting carried by full meta loadouts.

I am personally offended that I consider myself a top 65% survivor and a top 95% killer despite my clear rust at the game.

Survivors didn’t need nerfs. The escape rate has never been over 45%. Maybe they’re dominating you but in general survivors suck at this game. Lol

Players losing because they are worse than you but similar in power level is way better than players worse than you hard winning because they are above you in power level. Both sides players suck, but killers are generally less casual. You do not balance around bad players ever, that's terrible game design regardless of the game.

Am i the only one that thinks that LoL really shouldn't be set as the standerd?

They might have had the "insight" to balance for top play but everything bellow that was miserable from what i remember it.

They had nerf Irelia just as DbD has nerf pig

I haven't played in years so i don't know how it is now but from what i remember i prefer DbD's balancing.

The balance team balances for all elos based around what is problematic for each elo. If you have a high skill champ that is broken in top mmr you have to nerf it even if it affects low elo players. If you have a low skill champ that is broken in low elo but bad in high elo you still nerf it. Low mmr has not suffered because they balance 10 champs around pro play.

  • After playing blight enough, I don't have the patience to hold W after a survivor for more than 10 seconds. I used to play quite a few of them though.

And why should the strongest killers get stronger. Because i don't see everyone say that M1 killers are meta because of DH.

So why buff the best killers even further?

Genuinely, SB is better vs blight and spirit. I guess that leaves DH countering nurse still at least.

  • @PrincessCalla said:

If there are bugs in the game then yeah they should be fixed. If it's working as intended then that's that, however someone mentioned a developer stated this is indeed a bug.

This isn't some small indie company afaik, sorry, correct me if I'm wrong - it should be fixed by now if has been going on this long.

I also read about the killer twins being so bugged it's unplayable. Idk if that's true, but again, if so, then this stuff needs to be addressed.

As someone else said, it's like it is due to the fact they have no idea how to fix his collision. The dev that made blight said it was unintended but he didn't have time to fix his collision before he left the company. Also again devs saying it's a bug doesn't mean it should be removed, quite a lot of mechanics in this game were bugs originally.

I have really been noticing lately that when the Killers BP is at 100 percent. It is a camping and hard tunneling clinic. When its the other way around you get much more balanced killers is it just me?

When the bp bonus is on your role, you are likely to get matched against players who are close to your mmr. I don't even play unless the bp bonus is on killer. At least in my experience. Or it's simply that only people trying hard to win are playing when bp bonuses are in the opposite role.

  • @Nirgendwohin said:

I think the core problem is that many players don't have room to improve their skills anymore. the killer buff and meta shake up have forced many to improve their skills. the people who play a lot did it better and the people who play little took a little longer.

for the game, this means that there is hardly any room left for mistakes on either side. the killer's first chase is going well? the match is almost lost for survivor. the first chase goes badly for the killer? his chances of winning are not good.

The game is in a state where both sides have exhausted everything. every small change makes the balance scales swing very strongly. Ultimately, however, it's just a tinkering around with symptoms which arose from the missing game modes.

Unfortunately, there are no new ideas in sight, at least from the developers' side.

Players don't have room to improve their skills????? This is the only game I have ever been genuinely mad at for the lack of skill in nearly the entirety of the player base.

Even now. One good chase from a survivor or two fast downs from a killer will throw the game back in either direction, it's not over early. Although quite a bit of the killer cast has such low skill expression and reliance on mistakes that a good survivor can make a good killer look bad simply because of the killer they chose.

If the third paragraph means that games can be very one sided due to the loadouts or player mentality/intentions then I agree

  • I would actually agree that the game does feel like the couple months leading up to 6.1.0. Same perks every game, survivors running extremely good things to make up for a lack of skill. I guess I am just bored of the game again more than anything. The funny thing about being a blight main is that the counter play to dh has not changed, if you have sufficient collision dh is nothing. Blights always fun, but overall survivor skill and the state of the game has made the experience boring again.

genuine question, what makes hug tech an exploit but something like cj/locker techs arent?

It's on a killer, everything that was unintended for survivors is fine though!

  • Oh the new killer? Does she have 5 rushes that last for 3 seconds each during which she moves at 230% MS? I sure hope it's something like that and not a control based killer who has no downing power without maybe some add-ons.

  • It would take nearly no effort to remove, if it was going to happen soon it would have happened within the last year.

People tend to defend the hug tech because it's another form of skill expression and really fun to use while also being objectively weaker at most tiles in the game. The only truly strong thing about the hug tech is mitigating rushes mostly during map traversal. Mitigating rushes at tiles is weaker if bump logic is available. Things like adrenaline vial and maps like rotten fields do only work well with the hug tech though.

Also people really just say "but the devs said it's exploit" and nothing else then tell people not to debate about it lmao. So many bugs in video games become intended, look at things like old halo sword mechanics. Just because something isn't intended doesn't mean it needs to be removed.

  • Nah, I'd take old dh than have IW go back to 100%. Perk just let survivors gets away with awful plays. Oh are you trying to mind game a tile? Don't mind if I hold w to the next one.

  • Only time I have every seen that in all of my time playing dbd is when someone tries to give up on hook early and try to die in a winnable game with other survivors who are actually trying. I will join in and point and laugh with them. Nothing makes me happier in this game right now tbh.

  • It needs to be gutted, not because it's op still but because playing around it every chase has become boring again. I'm honestly not sure weather dh will be left alone because so many people will complain or nerfed because so many people do complain.

Also what are you going to do to other exhaustion perks? Lithe, SB and SH just last longer? That just sounds dumb.

The game should be balanced around casuals, not a good four man SWF. The game would quite literally die if all killers were Blight/Spirit level because casuals wouldn’t wanna play and all that would be left is really good players who try super hard.

It’s okay to have killers who are very good in against a four man, but it’s coping to say that they’re “balanced” when they completely annihilate causal players and chases are non existent and super quick. They can be strong but it doesn’t mean they are in a balanced position. An S tier killer is probably never going to be in a truly balanced place.

People underestimate Spirit ever since she was changed. She still sits prominently in the top 5 of pretty much everybody’s tier list. Almost every time I watch a VOD on Twitch of myself going against a TTV and they play against my Spirit, they’re miserable in the match and complain that she wasn’t nerfed enough and this was well before her audio bug, the complaints are only heightened because of the bug. Not to boost my own ego but I’m pretty good at Spirit and I have her at P50. It will usually take a really good squad to four out with me. And that’s not impressive because I’m playing Spirit. I use the two yellow add-ons that everybody uses.

She’s just not balanced for casuals. She will stomp almost all casual players. It takes a really good group to do good against a competent Spirit. This is only heightened with Blight especially with a lot of his add-ons

Why even bring up if a killer is bad or not without add-ons? Most killers that you run into are going to bring some form of add-ons. Only about 5% of killers won’t run add-ons. And she’s not weak without out add-ons, she’s far from it. She is weaker of course but so is every killer without their best add-ons.

TL/DR: Spirit and Blight are too good to be considered balanced because they stomp almost all casuals and that is okay to be a very strong killer but it’s not “balanced” in the slightest because 95% of DBD players are causal.

How do you balance around casuals when they don't know how to play the game? At the very least you balance around the top 30% and that's lenient because even a top 20% player is probably awful.

Also even the most casual players can learn to just pre drop oni, it's great design in theory but works out to be quite a handicap.

Blight has 2 broken add-ons, the rest are strong at best.

I See it every single game 3-4 times a game, survivors who have thousands of hours and that's why it made me quit playing recently.

Not the DH itself, I bait it most of the time, It's just the boredom of playing the same dbd game on repeat.

You know their perks, you know their playstyle, you know they'll gen rush.

It's why I stopped playing before 6.1.0 and I just can't queue up to go against the same generic survivors who don't impress me once. This game has fallen to the exact same state before 6.1.0, survivors running the best loadouts with 4 green med-kits and everyone has dh. Consistency in that makes me want to run a strong build and alch ring, then I just get salty.

It doesn't really matter if dh is just an s tier perk now, it's still just boring to play around after the 10000th time. League might have broken things in the game at any given time but every champ will go from awful to great within the span of 2 years.

That is funny that you point onto rebecca which does the only right thing in this situation instead of being useless around the killer like the other 2 was doing. Yes, after her gen was finished she could have traded but to be honest when i would be rebecca i would not trade when i see what the teammates doing. Nothing, just decorate the envoirment around the hook. I would also not be highly motivated to trade myself in when i know that people wont do a gen anyway "most likely".

What? They had 2 gens left and 2 people with 0 hook states. You think it's good that she should stick the gen until the guy was nearly dead on hook from 0 hook states?

There were 2 hooks in the entire game after 3 gens were done and you think it was fine for Rebecca to just not even try to save? Damn average solo queue teammate I guess. The only person who should have been on a gen was the meg who was on death hook. You can always recover when the person hooked has 0 hook states and the killer is camping, that's not even a debate.

Ideal scenario is meg works on gens and the other 2 unhook. From this hook there is 0 chance trickster burns through 4 health states before one person gets to safety(main building). Yeah, all 3 survivors could just work on gens and get out but this is an easy 4 out scenario here, unless noed.

If it was 5 gens you may have a point whatsoever but in this situation you are just wrong flat out.

  • I mean, it's there simply to taunt the killer. I always laugh because 90% of cocky survivors below A tier and none of them are S tier, not one. If I could mark a player that I have seen before I would alch ring tunnel them out next time just to laugh. Although, I really don't see survivors like this very often since 6.1.0.

  • If I knew the flashlight timing to a T before the changes when Knight came out I would be so ******. I guess I get it from BHVR's perspective though.

  • I mean there's more comebacks from mass slugging than there is 4 people bleeding out. If people like you had the option to bleed out, intense games would be removed from possibility because most players would rather not deal with a hard time(survivors more than killers for sure). If I am having the highest possible fun in this game which is a end game 4 out or no one out vs a 3 man swf and you decide to just give up, this game gets 30% worse. If you don't care enough to wait for a teammate to pick you and be attentive to it, then just alt-tab for 4 min.

Anything added to dbd with the ability to let players out faster is just a bad idea since most players don't care to try in the first place, it's just a gacha grinding game/ talk with my friends game for most players. All the while they are complaining about things they don't understand or even try to understand.

So since killers have no way to surrender and survivors already have an individual I give up button, I would say no to adding anything like that. It's not a party game anymore people, regardless of what the old-timers say.

Plus, how will I slug people who give up at 5 gens after a 45 second chase and then laugh at them with their own teammates for actively trying to ruin all of our fun?

This game isn't boring but the community really is the worst I have ever seen by far. I am saying that being a league veteran of more than 10 years now.

Killers are bad, survivors are bad, survivors don't want to play the game, survivors queue up for the game even though they don't want to play making the killer and other survivors experience bad, Killer meta is boring, survivor meta didn't change.

Also no relevance to the rant I have been spewing but I have never met a cocky survivor S tier in skill, A tier is the cap for them and they don't even know it XD. Although I can't fault them, I see an S tier survivor once every 3 months minimum and never has a comp team had an S tier survivor lmao.

PS: A full team surrender vote might be doable for both sides but killers can essentially quit anytime they want and survivors would quit winnable games too much.

  • Latency + medium vault at a drop down. Drop down leaves the hitbox behind a bit and so do medium vaults. The combination of the two + potential latency on either side will lead to egregious hits.

What's the problem? Camping is a valid strategy. You should be in awe of this great tactican who owned you and your solo queue team by his strategic superiority.

Camping is no fun and no skill but the 0 hook Rebecca really didn't trade. You can always blame solo queue, but really dbd players just are terrible/don't care to the point of tanking the overall kill rates quite a bit. I consider myself not good at survivor and I am better than 60% of the player base at least. It's quite disturbing. You really can't complain if you don't try to get better, although most players won't get better and will simply run better things to make up for their lack of skill.

It doesn't matter if they weren't on comms, Feng and Rebecca easily could have double team that hook regardless of communication. Instead, Rebecca was holding m1 while staring at Instagram.

  • Honestly, nothing has scared me more than a survivor dropping a pallet on my face that I had no idea was there.

This mainly just boils down to only what you find fun without considering what other people enjoy.

Maybe dbd players should enjoy and understand skill expression more then? As he said in a reply it's really just knight who nearly negates survivor skill expression. I love trying to get better at survivor when my duo finally gets on only to hold w until I die on rpd.

Because however long you want to loop the killer as a survivor, the killer can only afford to loop you for 1/8th of that time, or they lose the game.

Anything more than about 30-45 seconds per chase is a lost game. Killer is literally based around making chases as short as possible.

The killer has four survivors to chase and loop 2-3 times each. You need to occupy yourself with something else for the 75% of the time you're not the target.

If all you want to do is loop the killer for 5 minutes, you go play another game then.

A lot of these gen kick build killers are just NPCs though. They get like 15M from any gen in their 3 gen and 180 to go back, it's just not fun to play against. I'm saying that as someone who 4-gened on hag every game as my first main, although this current awful meta didn't exist back then.

  • I don't regret it but on the off chance I get 3 man outed in a super close game it's always irritating to see the survivors do the exit gate thing even now, especially when I 7-8 hook before a killer everygame. Although I saw 4 med-kits and a garden offering and just decided to hard alch ring tunnel a Felix out of the game a few months ago, that felt really bad.

Personally I will still use the perk. I am excited for the new aura effect it will give. But what do you think? Will you stop or start using it? What will you put along side with it?

I'd rather not kick a gen. Haven't used eruption since I bought neme like 1.5 years ago.

They can spawn because S tier killers exist and can counter them.

You simply had the misfortune of using one of the poorest killers in chase

"swfs exist so all killers should be buffed to blight level"

That's the vibe you just gave off

Okay but guess what even if I unhooked a survivor with BT/Guardian and that survivor had DS / OTR do you think a killer who intends on tunneling is going to stop because of that. No, killers are going to play for kills regardless of what a survivor has / runs and if the killer is heading back to the hook after an unhook. I guarantee it's not so he can hit the healthy survivor over the injured one.

They made a new fun exhaustion perk useless and it blows.

A lot of killers won't usually tunnel but will if the unhooker is either no where to be seen or in this instance double sprint bursting off into the distance. I play the one killer in this game who could actually chose to not tunnel in this situation before the changes and not lose significant pressure.
