As a survivor I dodge when I see many flashlights. Why? If they are just mocking the killer then you're in a 5 gen M1 simulator, needless to say I play as killer as well so I get his frustration as well. And generally as I am not a god looper or something like that when the killer chases me, he proceed to hook and camp me when I was the only that wasn't mocking the killer

As a killer the same, I hate people who bring flashlights just to mock so I'll dodge.

I think that's the only circumstances where I commonly will dodge.

Also when the game redirects me to the EU servers for some reason. The servers in southamerica are in Brazil and I already get frustrated by not getting hits when I should have, just because the servers are on Brazil and I am against brazilian players, then they laugh at you when the distance to the servers creates issues when they shouldn't.

  • Well, I am not going to lie. Ash, but not because MoM was OP but because at first thought, the perks seemed cool but that was on paper... Hearing his voice in the lobby was like "cool, a survivor with his voice in-lobby" but after many MANY many "what now?" you start to get annoyed of him. Then I suppose all DLC's have their pro and their cons

After that, I suppose Descend Beyond.

Don't missunderstand me, Felix is super handsome and a good looking man but the perks could have been better and his voice reminds me very much Steve's voice and I dislike Steve.

    Blight

He's cool, but his power could be way better AND the fact that wehen we tested it in the PTB it was an earlier version that we were supposed to test made me a bit angry actually.

His perks looks really cool on paper but they're not. Blood Favor, the first problem it's the limited ranged for an hex, meaning if it's a totem it means it's breakable so you ought to give it a great power for its weakness. Undying is cool but it's very RNG dependant. You could have a way to make that Undying it's not the first totem that you destroy and that you can keep half of your medals or if the number of medal is more than two, you lose them, in case of Devour Hope, there's no point in losing all medals if you have one for example.

  • Pop is useless now on Tier I unless the generators with a survivor repairing them are the ones closer to you.

  • Self Care IS a good perk. Almost every perk is a good perk if used correctly. I pair it with Botany almost every match and it allows me to avoid relying on teammates or to help them when the killer is camping someone and slugging one or two survivors, then I can take a hit for someoene at least.

  • @CornHub said:

Didn't get to play the PTB, I've only seen the survivors kick him after a failed pounce. Is there a time frame where they can kick him or does he just need to be standing still?

Killers didn't really standed still on my matches but as far as I have seen, the only way to kick Victor is when he misses a pounce or the player switchs to Charlottte.

I've got all those perks unlocked for Mikey boy, I already use Corrupt. I tried using Infectious but it didn't seem to work too well, they were almost never inside my terror radius. Sloppy Butcher I've been considering, exactly how much does it delay the healing process?

Currently I'm running PWYF and Iron Grasp alongside my STBFL and Corrupt. PWYF gets me a nice speed boost that helps end chases quickly. Which perks should I swap out?

A perk that helped me more than you believe in my build with Mike was Tinkerer. No one saw it coming.

Well, I have been practicing on Nurse with the add-ons that make her blink shorter and the lunge post-blink as well. I don't call myself a god nurse but I believe I am somewhat in the middle. They did all gens and they almost escaped even, Bloodwarden helped. And I use I am all ears to see their auras when they vault so I'll know where to blink.

If they had friends to explain it to them? I could probably explain the meta to a new survivor player in like 2 minutes. "Run these 3 perks and here's why"

When I was learning killer I got crushed as billy for like 4-5 games, then googled who was the best killer, and moved over to learn the nurse instead. I was on the Nurse within ~2 hours of playing, and had plans to level the hag for (old) ruin within the same day of buying DBD.

I can't imagine anyone sane would want to go grind out new accounts and all the perks over and over. You would have to pay for Laurie each time. And still, losing and running the loops is how you learn. You learn all the strong loops by having people run you at them.

Actually... even if you're right, they won't know how to run those perks properly. I could say "Dead Hard is a useful perk because... bla, bla, bla" but there will be many MANY times where they will say "but I used DH. Why did he got me?", the same as BT. A new user can run meta perks but won't know when and/or how to use it properly, even if someone teachs them, they don't know how to loop or to chain loop since they lack of knowledge so even with all four meta perks, they go down first.

yeah it wouldn't hurt to increase it to 3 seconds as it's unlikely they can finish a gen and still have DS active.

that idea is interesting, it does fix things that DS users abuse to an extent. the thing that worries me with that idea is that the killer can go after survivors easier because going into a locker won't be viable, i also don't think a survivor should be able to get significant progress on a generator with DS as the situation where they finish it in your face will remain.

definitely better than current DS but i would exclude being in lockers, cleansing, and maybe even being fully healed because of insta downs.

Well, the locker situation is because those who have been wandering into the map for 40 secs, the killer see them and chase them but they hoop in a locker, when he was indeed not tunneling. I do agree that my solution have problems.

I think yours would fit better, not too many conditions like mine, you keep it simple and is not so abusable.

Nothing wrong with beiing selfish if you're doing it to win. Like not saving your last slugged teammate when killer is obviously camping his slugged body to lure you out. But if you're selfish in a way, I'm getting camped so I'm not having fun so I hook suicide imagine if all survivors played like that. We basically wouldn't need hooks and all killers would have instant mori the moment you get downed.

It's the same as saying why can't killer AFK whole match if he's not having fun. For example survivors at the start of the match tbagged him and he doesn't like that so he goes afk for the whole game because of that forcing survivors to hold M1 and leave with no interesting gameplay. That's why excessive afking is bannable as is excessive dcing. Hook suiciding is a loophole for dcing, that's why so many consider it problematic and want something to do about it. It's very unhealthy for normal gameplay.

Well, you're considering this is a game right? If I am playing a table game and I want to leave, I will leave. After all the idea is to enjoy, of course with the time of doing this no one would want to play with me anymore so I get the point but at the same time, this is a game, so instead of doing something to prevent survivors suiciding they need to promote healthier playstyles as you have said "t-bagging a killer", if we talk about unsportmanship, bragging is unsportmanship and clearly unhealthy. If a killer is doing their best but the survivors are an SWF that goes from 2 to follow the killer and 2 doing gens or what happended to a user here, 4 people just trolling the kiler and refusing to do gens because said killer is unexperienced, that's a pretty unhealthy gameplay as well. I for one don't blame the killer if that happens because doing your best is something that shouldn't be laughed at, just because gameplay wise, running tiles is so easy (I went all way to red rank so I know that running tiles it's easy) for survivors doesn't mean they should mock the killer.

Absolutely I do. And I do the same in return. Survivors have to play different from the Killer. If they don't work as a team, they lose. Playing selfishly, or simply leaving the game like Cartman with a "screw you guys... I'm going home" is the antithesis of how Survivors advance and win games. Nobody enjoys sitting on the Hook, myself included, but I do it. I owe it to the other Survivors to do my best and fight for every second, as that is also their time. The only person in the game that profits from selfish Survivor behavior is the Killer.

Well, you're right about that the killer wins for selfish behaviour but after all, you as a survivor are alone in the Entity's realm, if the killer has NOED many people decide not to go for the hooked survivor. I am the kind of ultra altruistic survivor and generally I don't see that generosity being paid but that's fine, they decide to play the game in that way and they are in their right to do so.

Thank you, I try to look at things from all angles but i do miss things sometimes and i guess i didn't explain the reasoning behind DS being deactivated after recovering from the dying state.

The reason i think this should be a thing is because of the various ways you can get picked up with either team work or perks. if someone picks you up after you got hooked the best play is for them to take a hit, they also shouldn't have picked you up in the killers TR unless the killer is after someone else. I also don't think it's fair that you can get downed twice and still have DS, in fact most of the time DS is deactivated by then so there will be few situations where this will happen. This is also to mainly address unbreakable and soul guard, if you get downed and recover using these perks the killer can't benefit even if they down you right after as DS is still active. This simply makes doing such plays require more skill and situational awareness.

As for your second point this is what the perk addresses as you can no longer have safe/free progress on a gen. During this time if you have no way to heal there are a few things you can do besides working on a gen. you can go cleanse totems to stop noed and look for the potential hex's that might be in your trial, you can find another survivor to heal you or save a survivor and go heal each other, you can go loot chests for a medkit or any other useful items, or even try to force the killer to take DS by being a nuisance however that is very risky. A big thing i see DS users do is right after they get unhooked both that survivor and the savior go and try to rush the nearest gen before healing, at the very least they now have to heal first which buys time for the killer and makes it so the killer can stop the gen those survivors work on and still benefit no matter which survivor the killer caught. A DS user can also no longer do a gen right in the killer's face without worry because they are protected by DS so this makes killers have more control over gens.

Don't you worry, we are no God to foresee all angles. What matters the most is that you're willing to do it, and it's a good attitude in life to try to look from diferent angles the same situation. That's why I complimented you, because it's truly nice and the world needs more people who are willing to open their minds to another things they might have omitted due to the fact that we are humans.

As for the points, you have great arguments. My way to make DS better is the next one "when a survivor performs an action such as cleanse, repair, enter a locker or if he's fully healed, the timer goes 2x faster"

As for the progression of the gen, your idea is not bad, perhaps giving the survivor 3 seconds of "grace", of course that might be abusable still but at least it will be less abusable.

  • If I can play devil's advocate here. What's the problem with being selfish? No one will repay me in someway for the time I lost in the match. Right? Time is something that never comes, when it goes, it goes forever and no one can ever point a finger to you for being selfish. Talking about selfishness. You want them to stay on-hook with a camping killer so others and YOU can escape. Isn't that being selfish as well? Because YOU want, they need to sacrifice themselves for you and that's selfish as well.

  • I think you have readed many DS post and considered many things... and I can say. Amazing. I haven't seen many people who consider the "what if" and you did.

I know it's almost impossible to consider all points since other person might have foreseen something that you didn't.

I am going to put others "what if" with your current DS.

What if... The killer tunnels X survivor when he's off hook, now said killer fears DS so he won't pick you up and proceed to chase someone else, when he proceed to do it, the survivor Y proceed to heal the survivor X, when the survivor Y is finishing the healing of survivor X, the killers come back, since survivor Y doesn't know that survivor X has DS finish healing him, survivor X start running away, but since he's not too far already from the killer, he is unable to last even 10 secs?

What if.... I am a ghostface that is tunneling you, you start fixing a generator since the unhooker decided not to heal you, and I decide to either grab you or hit you?

  • As a gay man. I don't care who is or isn't gay, I mean even if they were all straight that would be fine for me, it's not like character sexual preference matters me at all unless it's with a backstory. It's like the creator of Celeste came saying that the main character is trans, I am like. "So what?". Many companies are making money about how "inclusives" they are and not for the sake of diversity, like saying "look, the first character who is... X" and then people go bragging about it. Sexual preference doesn't matter in a game, except if it's a dating game or such but other than that a character sexual preference is not something relevant on a game.

  • By the way. Does anybody knows if a survivor can vault or drop palets with Victor on them?

  • @Pior_Morte said:

After Removing Victor the survivor becames injured not broken, also basekit Victor can down survivor but not pick them up or perform a mori.

Oh, thank you so much for answering my question.

  • As a main pig... she's not thaat bad but she is indeed bad. Doing good as a player has nothing to do with the killer per se. As an example Nurse has the lowest killer rate but that doesn't make her a bad killer. Any killer in good hands and with good perks can do well, and that's not about the killer's potential, it's about the player's potential. And if a player is good, they can pick any bad killer and do well with them.

  • @Clevite said:

At this point idk why every survivor isn't running DS.

I have started to run it just to make sure there is an obsession in every match.

Without an obsession, the first guy caught is out of the game in 2 minutes.

Well... perhaps because it's locked into a paid DLC and before you say anything, there are many poor countries out there, if you're able to purchase it then good for you

Second reason it's because perhaps survivors don't want to use the meta always and just have a fun game.

Personally if I don't see Obsession then there's no DS so why tunneling them if I am not at risk?

  • Well... I know many have already answered but... personally I go to the exit gates just to be t-bagged. BP gains? I have none since the game doesn't detect a chase and when I get close enough they just get out, in the meanwhile they can still blind you with a flashlight and/or t-bag you

Being that said, even if it's not a bannable offense, t-bagging shows a clearly bad sportsmanship, see any boxing match or anything else, a lot of of winners don't brag about their wins (I clarify that there are some people who does), generally in boxing they hug each other after the match even, because they know that both did their best and being bad with someone who clearly did their best is the wrong attitude. I respect the killer when they do their best. Sometimes if I see survivors who clearly outplayed them and not only that but they where very salty, I let the killer hook me, it might not make the saltiness of the other survivors dissapear but at least they won't feel that bad.

  • I am very sorry to hear that. The only thing I can think of, it's using the perk lightborn. That or switching to surv until they make it. Again, I am very sorry about it.

everything You said is the reason why DS is so hard to balance because one wrong change and it can be bad or abusable it’s so hard to change. How would you change the perk?

I already writed it in the comment you quoted. Instead of disabling DS, make the timer goes faster that would give a margin for survivors if they are caught off guard but not too much to be exploitable like doing gens because the killer won't be unable to touch you for 60s.

  • @Chilli_man2400 said:

Ok everyone I’ve read the feedback and I’m making a couple changes to the perk

1.when the unhooked survivor is healed to full Heath Decisive strike deactivates

2.if you start repairing a generator Decisive strike deactivates

3.if you cleanse a totem DS deactivates

those are my last few changes to the perk it’s still going to have unlimited duration but now I made it like this now.

I get your point but there are still many "IF".

If an example, someone is healing you and the killer has a insta-down power running tinkerer or another perk. Technically the killer did tunnel you

Fixing a gen? Same as before, let's suppose the survivor who rescued you refuses to heal you for some reason and the killer has an insta-down, depending on how much time has passed it can be considered tunneling since a hidden ghostface can mark you, a cloacked write as well.

And... cleansing a totem? Well, the same as before, perhaps I have Nancy's totem perk and the killer just wait until I remove it.

I think the MMR experiment did show that ranks DO matter. Giving rank 1 killers rank 20's to play with was an absolute disaster and ruined the game for a week. Who knows how many noobs quit during that time period?

There is a large skill gap within red ranks but at least people who got there have played the game for long enough to have an idea what they are doing. Crossplay I find very interesting since you can find some solo Q console players who have clearly found their way up to red ranks with their own build and playstyle and it's totally unique and was developed in a vacuum. Unlike PC players who are typically full meta.

I have almost no fun playing killer against survivors way below my skill level, it ends in very stompy games.

DBD is still a competitive game, just not as hardcore as some of the others since it's more of a battle royal in solo Q. The only thing that separates a competitive game from a non competitive game is monetary reward, and there have been some DBD tournaments.

So a game is competitive because it had a tournament on it?

I participated in a tournament of Sonic Shuffle for dreamcast to see who was better or faster and the game is not competitive. For a game to be competitive you need to think in the reason of its existence. Dead by daylight main purpose is not "smash your opponents", it's have fun in a scary environment trying to avoid a killer, and having fun as a killer trying to avoid them from escaping.

The game IS NOT competitive, you might want it to be, but that's on you.

  • I do believe that competitive games have clear ways of winning. But What's a win for you? As a survivor is escaping yet having a liow amount of BP and a depip or is it being killed yet having many BP and a double pip? As a killer it's your goal to kill four survivors and getting a depip and a low amount of BP? Or is it to make chases longer and getting a pip with a high amount of BP?

That as a first point, as a second point. Are there the exact numbers of objectives? No, as a killer you have more, not only chase/hook but protect gens, as a survivor only fix gens, even if you don't save anybody you still are able to escape

Being that said. Would you say Mario Party is competitive? No, it's a party game, of course you could turn it into competitive if you want to but it's not the main idea.

The same as DbD, DbD is not a competitive game, it's a party game, for being competitive it needs:

    Clear goals

The same chances to achieve those goals or similar ones at least

    A similar number of objectives

The same number of characters in each side, or making the part that has less characters having certain handicaps. As an example, you can tell me the killer run faster than survivors and whether that's true, the killer also is 0,8 seconds slower than a survivor to vault, a killer needs a certain amount of time to kick gens while survivors just need to tap said gen to stop the gen regression. A killer has a large terror radius which makes survivors naturally aware of where the killer is, a killer need certain amount of perks to achieve the same thing

So no, it's not a competitive game and the "try to win" actually it's made by the human nature of the people but I could just chill with the killer and farm and that would be ok, even the devs said it was ok to farm in that way. If it were competitive then any form of "chill" should be forbidden since it's a competence, a test.

  • Don't missunderstand me but I think you're new. I have seen the same exact idea posted many times by many users and many users believes it's a good idea.

The perk can be used as an anti-tunnel yet the correct definition would be "anti-momentum" of course, I know survivors can and will use it offensively even when the killer already has no momentum or pressure.

The main problem is as many have told, being farmed. If I am a killer and see someone unhooking you then down you and go for the unhooker I will hook him first and then bye bye DS so you won't get a chance.

The second problem is... let's suppose I don't see you anymore in the match and I am having troubles as a killer catching someone else, then I see you and hok you. Did I tunnel? No, not at all. Should I be punished? No, either. I think you have been punished enough by not being able to hook anybody else

    How to really fix DS

Make the time goes faster if:

    .Hiding in a locker

    .Fixing a gen

    .Being fully healed

    .Being on the EGC.

  • Actually... ranks have zero sense in a game that is not supposed to be competitive, besides it's not working as intended so the devs could just remove it. Red ranks thinks of this game as competitive and when they are paired with a newbie they bully them, with no rankings there would be zero reason to bully another player since it doesn't matter, you don't have anything to brag about. With ranks it's like "look at me, I am red and you're yellow. I am far better than you" which causes toxicity in both sides.

  • @Sonzaishinai said:

This is why penalties start low. So that a random crash happens you don't get pubished as hard.

Combined with DCing on purpose and bad connection it get's to rediculous levels.

Which is a good thing. This is your fault for dcing earlier and playing an online game with bad connection

Can you tell me how to get a good job?

  • Well... the only option to say yes it filled with a part that I disagree but. Whether I like the basement mechanic it doesn't feel rewarding. You don't get more BP if you hook on basement and even if it's a risk for survivors if they know how to play then it's not risky at all.

  • @Hoodied said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1711458#Comment_1711458

Due to the maps layout, the obsession can infinitely run away from you and you can never catch up to them as you cannot cut them off and due to the 2 staircases and 1 secret passage the map contains, its almost impossible to catch up to them without losing every generator

I get your point but... there are two "hidden staircases", the one with the crumbled concrete. Which is on a classroom.

And the other behind breakable walls that is on the bathroom.

  • I understand your frustration but that's not against the rules, after all every survivor is looking after himself on the fog, they don't need to save you, even if it sounds harsh.

Holding the game hostage is when you can't make the game progress, as an example if two or more people are being body blocked by the killer and... they can't fix generators nor the killer is willing to hit them in order to keep the match progression.

Another example is when two survivors are remaining and they refuse to repair the last gen and go into hiding. Then the match is stopped until the killer finds one of them or one of said survivors decide to fix the last gen

  • @DaGreenBolt said:

I think my current pet peeve right now, is what they said about the Killer adept achievements:

@selflessnea: "Can we see some changes to killer adept achievements?"

It's not very likely, due to the requirements on different platforms in terms of achievements. If something is still possible, it's highly unlikely it'll be changed since that's unfair to those who earned it fair and square before. (Peanits)

I did some of the killer adept achievements when it required for a merciless victory, and most killer players I talked too who did the same don't feel accomplished doing the adept for killers. In fact, most want changes as it's way too difficult for no reason, and way too frustrating to get. I've yet to hear a player who got a killer adept feel it would be unfair if they made it easier.

Also this answer can be applied to Survivor adepts, as they just need an escape, while killers need a double pip. So far, it feels unfair that I earned the adept by sweating my butt off, while a survivor can just escape. Either change the Killer adept to just needing a 4K or, change the survivor adept to need a double pip. I would prefer option 1.

That answer of the devs doesn't satisfy me because if they really meant about something being unfair, then they wouldn't have given the event cosmetics for free. It's more a... We are lazy to do it.

Besides, I do believe the achievement at its current state is not a fair one, if they talk about fairness. If a 4k or 2 pips were needed for merciless then that would be fine, because if you kill survivors too fast, then you don't double pip. If you try to get points and extend chases then you barely will do a 2K

  • "OoO user often dies" Yes. Do you know the reason? If you don't kill the OoO user then you will be the entire game with at least one person being able to track your position. So yes, the OoO user often dies because the perk is indeed OP, because you can't leave the OoO user alive if you want to actually have a chance at the game. Dying doesn't mean that a certain perk is OP, if many DS/UB users gets to die does that mean it's not a powerful combo?

Huh, from what I heard the first iteration of the event was deeply flawed because people would just ignore gens to harvest the flowers leading to killers easily 4K'ing every game. Truthfully I had taken a break from the game when the first Halloween event was under way so perhaps it's flaws were exaggerated. I remember really enjoying last year's one because there was no intrusive new objective, you just played the game and as long as you were completing the rift you'd get the skins no problem. The double bp meant that I was basically swimming in bloodpoints which was great. I hear we're getting double bp this year too but it's a week after the event's start so it seems like more of a hasty apology for the garbage event rather then a genuine sign of good will.

Humm yes, it was a bit overreacted from my point of view. I don't know in red ranks since I was in yellow by the time being but in yellow it was enjoyable or at least I had enjoyable matches, even if the killer sacrificed me.

We take the most upvoted questions, we've said in the past why we're doing this. If we don't take the most upvoted question we get accused of cherry picking the questions but quite often the most upvoted question is about upcoming things which we are not in a position to discuss yet - that happens for many different reasons.

Although in yesterday's stream I think a lot of questions were answered fully, there were a few things that can't be answered further but we gave out as much information as we possibly could.

Don't missunderstand me, but I guess there's a saying that goes like that "bad if you do and bad if you don't do" so if you're going to be accused of anything at least you could pick the question you can actually provide an answer for. Politicians and every company do all the time. If I get most votes asking "What is your bank account?" Are you going to answer it? Sometimes a good question have not up votes because no one bothered in reading it or it's too long for some people to bother reading it and perhaps it's a question that you can give an answer for. As I said, I completely get it, but this is not a press report, you can choose whose questions to reply, and if 70% of the answers are going to be "We are working on it, we can't say anything" Why holding a Q&A in the first place? I get DbD community can be very toxic and a lot to handle, but there are times where I saw devs joining the "trolling" instead of giving a proper adult answer.

I am going to say it, the mods like you sometimes act better or more adultlike than some devs and as you did, you give a more proper answer and handle situations better. And thank you for your hard work

I don't have the proof here but when the DC ban first came out, many people complained that they get 30 mins bans or 1 hours bans even thought they just DC'ed one time at most, many users said "if you have a ban that long I am going to bet you ragequitted a lot, and you deserve the ban" and some devs, didn't change their reply. Yet I always see the mods saying "We are sorry that you're experiencing this issue and that's something the team is trying to fix" or giving answers like that.

When someone was having a problem, even a dev joined the trolling and I told him "post this in the bug reports", and another user said this "I can't believe only just one person gave a proper answer and it's not even a dev". I personally love DbD but thinking that buying something is buying from that kind of people, makes me not want to play the game anymore. Yes, many people think that "it's cool that they hang out with the community and troll" but they should be more serious since they are working, if there's a trolling post or a joke to the devs then that's ok, you can bluff all you want, but if someone needs help and instead of helping you're trolling him... It's like at elementary school when classmmates bully you and the teacher does nothing against it.

  • Funny how everyone seems to had "ragequit matches" when I barely had one. I mean it happended but as a killer I play as bad as I can. Many killers are "If I see someone unhooking you in my face and they have no BT, it's their fault" but it's not about whose fault it is. It's about how frustrating it is. And as I said in many comments no being tbagged or genrushed is not fun either but please. Can some people say how biased they are? They probably have 2 or 3 matches where they are genrushed and they treat "those salty survivors" like everyone is like that. And it's the same with survivors. Can everyone try to have a little fun and chill? This is a game, not a job, if you don't like it then why are yo forced to do it? "You logged in the match" And? Games are supposed to be fun so if someone is not having fun then they have the right to quit. If I am playing soccer and no one ever pass the ball to me or they mock at me. Why should I keep playing? I don't agree to play like that and someone agrees to play a game because it's fun (and don't go with the "fun is subjective" statement because you know what I mean with unfun) when it's no fun then there's not really a point. "That person ruins the match for everyone" And a killer camping said person don't ruin the fun for said player? So... talking about double standars and yes. DC's are against the rules while camping is not, but that's derailing the point, the point is there are things that are unfun as a killer and as a survivor, if you ruin another person match on purpose then don't come crying on the forum "I had a mori challenge and yet everyone DC'ed, BHVR should do something against it" but in the real match as soon as you hooked someone you camped him with insidous. See what I mean? If you're ruining things for everyone because is not against the rules yet you know how bothering it can be then don't complain when those survivors start acting sweaty with their click clicks and t-bag because that's not against the rules either. Toxicity leads to toxicity.

  • Well, I'll comment a second time seeing where the thread is going.

"I didn't have many crashes" "In my [insert number] of hours I didn't had a single crash, crashes are rare so if you have so many time it's because you ragequitted so much" so... crashes are rare because you didn't have them? So your personal experience means that every player didn't have crashes. And please don't say "the problem is on your side, get a better internet provider" when someone is having issues with DbD only, crashes are not rare, at least not for everyone.

Now, let me tell you I this example start a match as a survivor, certain survivor changes to toxic Nea when there are 7 secs left, killer DC and I eat a ban. Is it fair? No, and don't tell "it's just 5 min, do something else" because I shouldn't be penalized for something that I haven't done. And now imagine that happens 3 or 4 times in a single day, that means I have a 2 hours ban for a DC that I haven't done. And please, be serious and don't go with "perhaps yu're extremely unlucky because that didn't happen to me" since personal experiences are not really helpful, I am using an example of something that happens, perhaps not to everybody and perhaps not always.

  • I can't see the video due to how old my laptop is but if what you're writing is reflected on it (and I am sure it is) then it seems like it was a really bad/frustrating match and I for one wouldn't blame you for DC'ing, I mean if you tried to DC. I am sorry, I can't see how you're playing and I play Bubba so wanted to give you a few tips even thought I am not the best... sorry

What I can tell you is this, if a player is walking closer to you it might be because they have Sprint Burst which gives them 3 seconds of 150% speed instead of the usual 100% with the chainsaw you sprint at 130% at base, but it last a bit longer than Sprint Burst if you use your tokens correctly.

  • Well, you have a point. I had zero DC's when the penalty was off. There's something wrong with certain playstyles but certain people won't call it unfair because they use and abuse it, since "I am not breaking the rules".

  • Wow.

  • Well, I wrote a long comment that got erased but the main point is the following:

No one wants to play a match being camped/tunneled. I played over the past rift and just got DC's in two matches, one when two people saw that I was Myers and then a third one DC'd because I found him first. And the other match was the last survivor that I was going to hook for the 4K

I am not saying survivors won't DC but there are clearly ways to make a match more enjoyable and sure, being looped by 5 gens and t-bagged is not fun either but it's not cool to blame other survivors and camp/tunnel just because you're angry. Being that said, I understand that those are strategies but there is a difference, if you camp the first survivor who you have found and want to snowball the rest and creating an unfun experience to everyone than knowing that a survivor is near from the recently hooked survivor while you attempt to leave the area.

As I said, those are strategies but being entitled saying "those are strategies so I can use it whenever I please and survivors shouldn't DC or hook in the first hook if I use them" is wrong either. DC is wrong but purposely ruining the match to someone because you're pissed it is as well (being that said many killers who camp in first hook tends to DC when they see survivors doing gens instead of trying to go for the save because they're unable to snowball them).

Basically is this one, survivors DC when they get many matches where they unfairly lose, meaning they get situations where they can't win no matter what they do and before you tell me BT, DS and such stuff, you shouldn't need to add two perks just because there are salty killers who barely know what a mindgame is and don't deserve to be in red ranks (I was in red ranks as a survivor and killer but dropped it because survivors/killers are tryharders), then said survivors decide to ruin the experience to everyone else, meaning spreading the toxicity or saltiness.

I am not saying letting people win matches/escape because that's unfair but I had many 4K matches, none of them DC'ed because even if I outplayed them, said survivors lost fair and square.

By the way, I was using Tinkerer's on Myers lately and is a great perk for him.

  • I honestly don't get the "if you throw the pallet, you get hit, if you don't throw it you get it". Have you consider stop running in the same loop for an excesive amount of time?

  • What's the problem with her exactly? Do you know what NOED is? Well, a lot of survivors have problems with said perk.

If survivors refuse to cleanse then it's basically you're using NOED (without the speed bonus). Plague has a built-in noed in her basekit, also you see a green trail that follows sick survivors making it easier to track them. If we follow your logic, then trapper must be very bad, yet he is efficient and good in the right hands.

"Red ranks know how to team play" no they don't lol. A lot of red ranks also go down in seconds. And like I said, the issue is SOLO PLAYERS not swf, so comms arent a thing.

Personally as someone who was in red ranks, I'll suggest you to play on purple/green. they may not be great but they are more altruistic. At least the people around my server.

  • No without proof, and whether it can be bothering I do need to say I agree with it. Although I do agree that there should be an easier way to add proof, no one is always recording or such stuff to be able to do that.

the addons are the worst part of the nerf he needed like 3 addons to be reworked slightly instead we got a mechanic that does nothing but annoy you and addons that are laughably bad

I am not really sure because even thought he is one of the best, I didn't really used him or went against him so the only thing that I could say it was "problematic" was his turning rate, although my brother did well with him addonless so I can think he was very strong with some add-ons
