@BillyIII That sentence literally makes zero sense. Are you saying unhooking a survivor is a cheap way to get WGLF stacks? Because that is the main way to earn stacks.

streetwise, vigil, hangman's trick, territorial imperative
Oh, you wanted good perks?
Sorry, looks like you've lucked out.
-
Iridescent head is fine. Dodging hatchets is fairly easy (most of the time). NOED is the only perk I find toxic. Yeah, I know, cleanse totems, but that doesn't make it any less toxic.
-
uh huh

Can you do something about killers who camp hooks?
They already have a bloodpoint penalty for camping hooks, and people still do it anyways. Sorry to tell you this, but camping will be around forever. People can't help themselves. It's easier to stand in one spot than to learn how to actually play the game.

It does lol. As long as I get rewarded with free 4ks for standing at the hook, I will keep doing it.
@BillyIII How does it work both ways?

@Saint_Ukraine i remember saying, i never watched star wars to Mr Mushwin.....he raced up those staris to get the dvds......so many hours i wont get back.....they were good films though Scream
@Mushwin Well, the reason is that my mom has never been a fan of the horror genre, so we just weren't exposed to any of those older horror films. I didn't even watch the original Halloween movie until just last year in October. I still haven't seen Nightmare on Elm St. I watched a Chainsaw Massacre reboot on Netflix, which was pretty bad. I haven't seen The Shining or Psycho, or any of those more popular horror films. I think I've seen Friday the 13th Chapter 3 or 4. Can't remember which one it was.
I have seen the Original Trilogy of Star Wars, however.

ok so a 4 man urban team that's gen rushing because they can just hide and I finely get one and want to lure them out is on me as camping when in reality the games boring because they are just trying to depip everyone so to peeling the game il do minor camp patrolling so to catch them off guard and get a few points
@redsopine01 If you're having trouble finding survivors, there are many perks that aid you in that aspect. Stridor, BBQ, Whispers, Bitter Murmur to name a few. All I can say is this:
Git gud

I've never watched Scream, so I don't know what to expect.

You Survivors are the best. A Bloody Party Streamer was used by me and then you gen-rush me. Awesome. We got around 8K each.
@bendermac It happens on both sides. Don't act like survivors are the only ones who ruin the game experience for others. I brought bps the other day, and the killer brought an ebony mori. Now, obviously they wouldn't have known that I was bringing bps, but they didn't even hook everyone twice. They just tunneled and moried after first hook. Fun game. I got maybe 10k bloodpoints from that game.

@not_Queen So this was the surprise? Wow. One would think you'd have other priorities when players DC all over the place, loading screens that never end, people crashing mid-loading screens and games where you only have 1-3 survivors loading in.
But good on you. More cosmetics. Yay.
@se05239 There is no correlation between devs who make cosmetics and devs who work on code. Do you really think they ought to focus their artists on bugs? Does that even make sense to you?

Yes, it's double bloodpoints. 1.5x was a Blood Rush, which was something we tested out.
@Peanits Why don't you guys have 2x bloodpoint weekends?
-
I played like a potato yesterday. I was looping a Trapper around an unsafe pallet, and I ran up to the pallet to throw it down in front of me, but I forgot that you have to stop moving in order to do that, and I got smacked. But hey, 3 people made it out that game.

Ever considered that maybe you're dogsh*t?

This looks fake asf.
Also, the killer is literally Dokkaebi from R6S.

If you can't face them in chases, try to switch it up and stealth your way around them. That's my best advice.

@SurgDexil I believe the phrase is, "hit the nail right on the head"

Idk. The Cornfield is pretty bad. I usually can still chase the survivor through it, but it's still very difficult to see.

@HURRI_KAIN said:
Agree with @Saint_Ukraine
If you're carrying someone, =Mad Grit. If you're just whining because a survivor is crouching in front of you, .... look down. Some killers are blind - and i'm not talking about characters, I'm talking players. If you can't see what's right in front of you it's not the game's fault, it's not the survivor's fault, it's your fault. Not to mention that most obstacles can be seen even when you aren't looking that far down. So if you have this issue often, get in a habit of hitting the survivor instead of wasting time, refusing to look in front of you. I'd love to see a video of you playing against 4 P3 Claudettes! lol
I guess alternatively you could play a short killer, like pig/freddy/legion/hag and then you'll see them crouching easier.
@HURRI_KAIN He's saying he has an issue with survivors running in front of him and crouching while he's chasing someone. I've never had an issue with this. If the survivor wants me to chase them, I will happily oblige. Ez kills, ez life.

See, I have used this build in the past, but I typically don't enjoy dying from one hit.

You mean like they already do, with the hatch?
@Incirion Well, that's a bit different. You need to have either a key or be the last one to do that.
-
I believe this has been addressed, and will possibly be implemented into the PTB.

@Lemming said:

Devs already said they are changing the Pig and various other end game perks to account for the collapse. Most likely that means is when the Collapse starts the reverse beartraps will not kill you if you use the exit gates. Evidence? Look at Legion.
@Lemming Well, I don't know about that. There's no way they'd just give a survivor the escape with a trap on their head.
-
hit boxes are bad. What else can we say?

@NoShinyPony said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/428723#Comment_428723
@Saint_Ukraine I had once a Pig following me around in stealth mode, just to prevent that I could remove the RBT at a box. I died of course, but the Pig totally lost the match since it didn't care about what the other survs were doing. Some people have weird priorities.
@NoShinyPony Yeah, I don't play like that at all. Typically, I hook once, then I slug them once I find them again. It wastes a lot of time, because then the survivor not only has to get healed by another survivor, thus taking them away from gen repair. Once the survivor is healed, they're immediately going to prioritize removing the rbt before doing any gens. I usually get 4k's out of it. Sadly, people will sometimes d/c when I do this.
-
@Incirion said:
You don't get it @NoShinyPony He wants to make sure he has a completely safe trip to the basement so the "KILLER" cannot "KILL" him down there. He thinks he should always be guaranteed a safe unhook.
The basement is DANGEROUS. It's MEANT TO BE DANGEROUS. The stairs were designed to be narrow SO THE KILLER COULD BLOCK THEM.
@Incirion Cool it. No need for hostility.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/428715#Comment_428715
@Saint_Ukraine It's not bannable since it's not taking the game hostage. But of course only very few Pigs do that because it is such a time-waster.
@NoShinyPony Sounds like a pretty nerdy way to kill someone.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/428684#Comment_428684
@VexTheHex A similar concept already exists: The Pig's activated RBTs. If the pig bodyblocks a survivor somewhere, the survivor will also die because of the exploding RBT.
@NoShinyPony I never thought about that.
-
@Incirion said:
@Saint_Ukraine Hopefully nothing, because it will stop the very legitimate strategy of body blocking to wait out borrowed time. If you get trapped in the basement and the killer chooses to waste his time standing there until the game is over, then that's the same as getting face camped. They won't do anything about that, so why would they do anything about this?
@Incirion It just seems like a lame way to punish a survivor for being altruistic.
-
@VexTheHex said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/428690#Comment_428690
Hopefully they do something. It'll be a pretty huge blow to the game play. Sadly the loudest players on the forums are Killer mains, so this issue will likely be swept under the rug. But this scenario is too easy to pull off and too toxic (?) to slide.
And to be clear, I'd overall excited for this mechanic and to see how it plays out. But this issue is pretty game breaking if it slides in.
@VexTheHex I imagine people will just start telling others that they should just leave if someone gets hooked in the basement.
-
idk, lol
-
@VexTheHex said:
Interested in it overall minus the Killer body blocking the basement stairs being confirmed sacrifices aspect. They didn't think that one through.
@VexTheHex I wonder what they'll do to stop the killer from body blocking basement.
-
@DaGreenBolt said:
I like this end game collapse except for one thing, why is bhvr rewarding survivors for not completing gens, being super altruistic, or being potatoes in general, by giving them the hatch at any gen, so that means survivors can have a free escape at 5 gens left.
@DaGreenBolt It's not free. The killer can close the hatch, and the survivor will still need to open an exit gate in order to escape. If you're good enough at gate patrolling, you should be able to get the survivor.
-
Like @No1TheLarch said, the exit gates are powered after the hatch is closed by the killer. There is no free escape, as the survivor must first open either of the gates in order to escape.
-
@ZFennecFox said:
These changes are the equivalent of giving the Huntress a single hatchet with Nurses fatigue after every miss on top of having to reload.
@ZFennecFox I guarantee you that I will have no trouble playing Legion after his change is implemented.
-
too late, bud
it's over for you
-
okay..
Well, it's likely that the survivors were destroying the killers' hope; therefore, the Entity has decided to punish them for that. That's my only guess.
-
I don't d/c against Legion. :/
