The shrine didn't update for 3 weeks. I can see people getting all 4 skills and still being capped. Heck I went into that first week with 750 shards as I couldn't spend them all the week before that.Dwight_Confusion said:@Boxohobo said:

to me the problem isn't the delay, but the silence on the part of BHVR. they had to know there was a problem and had they of addressed it there would have been some backlash, but at least the PS4 users wouldn't feel forgotten.AshleyWB said:Hmm I see, so gamebreaking issues are probably delaying ps4 patch... As a survivor I see it a ton. Someone gets hooked and I chill at my generator or totem for a few seconds. First if the killer has BBQ I don't want him to see what direction I take off running and secondly to give the killer a moment to clear the area. I think a lot of solo players see that as a welp they aren't coming and start to try the Kobe. When I see that i want to scream stop it. I guess I would rather see them do that than DC, but still to give up only adds pressure to me (and the other living survivors)

I am going to assume BHVR is closed Monday as it is a holiday in Canada. So, in my opinion, the earliest PS4 gets the 2.0 patch is Tuesday. With that said they won't open the shrine till PS4 gets the update so maybe Tuesday, but I expect it to be Wednesday, and again it all depends on when PS4 gets the update.El_comandante said:Any idea when it's coming back guys? or an approximate date maybe? , because I have a lot of Iriscents xD

I could be wrong so take this with a HUGE grain of salt. But I think Not_Queen is in charge of the raffle and heard she was VERY busy right now. I trust they will get it done, but knowing HQ was closed on the weekends maybe they should have just set it up for M-F and extended to cover the weekend days lost.

They said on the roadmap for year 3 they were going to redo the report system, but I have no further information on a time frame.

people are saying July 3rd now for PS4 to get the patch, but without official word from BHVR I am not holding my breath.

I agree the test server was a good idea. I was surprised they didn't have a no streaming NDA or something. I have heard several say the update doesn't feel fresh and that might have helped some.SenzuDuck said:Yea, and there were some incredibly huge bugs fixed with the PTB. The last tweet mentioning PS4 was 3 days ago. they did mention it in the dev stream with the word soon. What do you want them to say? Everyday you want them to say "It's in certification" still. This isn't a trip with mommy and daddy where you constantly nag them about it. It's either not done, or it's done. And you'll know when it's done.
If someone made a mistake that is fine, not cool but fine, but this whole ignoring the problem is only making people more and more frustrated. Heck I am an Xbox user and frustrated on behalf of our PS4 community. -

Sony may want money, but BHVR needs to communicate. my thought is if you want the shrine back tweet BHVR and ask for a status update. Rumor is all you will hear is crickets. They had originally said they would have the shrine up by the 29th as well. They also said all platforms had to have the 2.0 update before they brought the shrine back. So I assumed that meant everyone would have the patch by today at the latest. But seeing as it is almost 2 pm in Montreal and still not a whisper from BHVR that doesn't seem likely.BoxingRouge said:I mean they put the bloodpoint event for the 5th so every platform will have the patch by then. While I think only the Devs can answer this my gut says no they will keep them as auric only offerings. That said I do expect there to be discounts on auric from time to time.

Anyway my only problem with the PS was controller size. i haven't looked at the PS4 controller but the PS3 seemed small. My hands seemed to want to cramp up after an hour on the PS3. i even tried an off brand controller and couldn't seem to keep it connected to the system. But PS4 had some great games.
i don't PC game since I sit most of the day and like to stand and move around a bit while I game. -

I didn't think they would reopen the shrine till all 3 platforms were running version 2.0. and since we have't heard word on the status of the PS4 certification. my advice is don't hold your breath on the shrine.

But when I play SWF with my friends we play fair, within the moral judgements of the game, most of them are too stingy to bring in any ultra rares as they are saving them for a rainy day (which never comes)

the downside is, and this is just what i have gathered so take it with a huge grain of salt. but they said that after a SWF match you had to redo the lobby as when it gets you in a killer lobby it already treats you as solo players. so they would, and it is possible, have to make some programming changes to keep you grouped up. (not trying to be toxic and rain on your ideas/reasoning, just something to think about.)
(I do play SWF about 50% and solo about 50%, but when running as a solo player I never join chat as 9 out of 10 matches it is some kid)

other than removing SWF how would you fix it? and i think if you remove it a ton of the players will also leave. I know I, for one, came to DbD because of friends.

While Empathy has a longer range I would probably use Bond for this. It allows you to see when people get up qnd start running, slam a pallet, vault through a window, even when uninjured. my thought is who cares about the other side of the map.. show me what is going on in my neck of the woods.MrsMaliciousX said:

no idea. i would say noon so BHVR can hotfix any crippling problems, but no idea. if they are confident, or have people on call/staying late, they may patch as they walk out the door.
