The shrine will remain the same, except that it will give less BP (200k for new perks, 150k for old perks, I think they said) and cost more shards (since you gain more shards)
Will still be only 4 perks, while it should be at least 6 or 8 by now considering the number of ingame perks.

The 2nd buff would definitely be too strong, as the survivor is already quite stuck in animation while dropping the pallet.
Tho, something along the lines of a faster speed while revving would be nice.I understand what you mean, at the same time I feel that the nurse kind of already does this as she can just blink straight through a pallet so it is already kind of tried and tested. However if it does seem to be an issue then maybe he breaks through it and gets a small speed reduction for a second or two. BTW just so I am clear I still believe LF should still be stunned if the pallet is dropped correctly on him, forcing him out of his sprint.
Thanks for the feedback though!
Nurse is arguably broken in my opinion.
She leaves very few room for survivor's skill (while other killers let WAY too much room for it.)About the last part, it would make most experienced killers to just still stun, and he would destroy non experienced ones, which is not always that great of a solution.
What I'd like on him is an alternative power, such as : if you press M2 during his chainsaw rush, you suddendly dash forward over 10 meters, downing any survivor you hit, no AoE tho.
That would give him a scare factor as well as some mindgames and funny plays in corridors.Hmm you see I think nurse is in a great position personally ( especially considering the current balance state of the game ) because she is very difficult to learn but with an extreme payoff for doing so.
About the stun I am a little confused about what you mean, I think you mean that it would take experienced survivors to stun him which, to me, would be a good thing because he would still have that heavy counter play by good survivors. Perhaps an option with that then would be if you successfully stun him mid chainsaw sprint, he is stunned for longer?
And about a new sub ability for him, I like that idea. I think it would have to be created with some love and care for it to be good but yeah I like it. I mainly dont want them to abandon his current concept though, I like the idea of a viciously powerful up close killer which LF could be, it's just that they didnt design him anywhere near well enough to fulfill that role
Its good to have these differences of opinion though, it hopefully will help to get LF in a great position.
Well, this is not a Nurse thread, but I'll give my quick opinion about her :
Imo, Nurse is indeed pretty hard to master. But she clearly shouldn't be AS REWARDING as she is now. A character being hard to play should allow more possibilities, not more strength. And when it comes to nurse, playing her better just make her way more destructive, rather than more versatile or anything, so it's not very interesting at least to me.I just meant that only new survivors will have trouble about stunning him mid chainsaw rush, which will allow him to easily destroy new players and still have average to hard times against great players, tho, overall, I still consider that change to be too strong.
Well, ultimately I make this just to try and give the devs some ideas and community feedback from those ideas, and then let them decide how to handle it. Its just right now, Leatherface is undeniably a VERY weak killer for what he is meant to do and it feels right now that there is no reason whatsoever to play him over Billy. Either way we will just have to see what the future holds for him. I'm hoping they will look deeply into him after they address Freddy and Wraith
You're obviously right to voice your opinion.
Don't hesitate, I wouldn't mind seeing that guy getting some buffs tbh, since, as you stated, he's very weka and truly needs some love, as well as some more gimmicks to play with, which would give him more possibilities. -

Thank you for the official response!
I think the main issue with downvotes is that it hid posts, which I didn't actually realize until someone mentioned it in this thread. It's a bit of an odd system, actually. I've only seen that on Reddit.
Just removing the hiding post feature, along with the spamming of downvotes over several posts in the same thread would have adressed this tho.

The problem with decisive strike is that it exists.
On a more serious tone : it's a very unfun perk from the killer perspective, that rewards survivors when it shouldn't, while giving no downsides like obsession perks should give, like EVERY SINGLE OBSESSION PERKS in the game but THIS ONE.

Well any idea’s that could spruce it up?I have a pretty vicious one.
When you open a chest, you get your hand trapped, and the only way to remove it is to touch another survivor to give it.
It activates after 30 seconds, and it makes the armlet to do some noises that the killer can hear, on a regular basis.
If the guy gets caught and rescued, the survivor automatically gives it to its rescuer (so he is harder to tunnel). Now I'd like that stuff, that would be hilarious, and less RNG.

I'll definitely buy it with money.

Frankly, I prefer the vague words over hard numbers from an aesthetic POV. But I would at least like for stacking opposing effects to mean the same, so that a moderate increase plus a moderate decrease would equal zero.I suggested to put an option to hide/view the numbers, simply, like most games do nowadays. So everyone would be happy (i guess ?)

I hope so. I am tired of every rank being equivalent to rank 1. I settle around ranks 10-15 most seasons, depending on how much I play. When I see the Survivors’ loadouts, they’re like it’s rank 1, not rank 11 or 12. Even at rank 20, I’ve encountered Survivors who are supposed to be rank 1 (It was not immediately after rank reset). If you’re a rank 1 player, then stay there and face those Killers. I want to face players that are at my skill level.Well, as long as the reset rate is that high, you'll very likely play against rank 1 players on their way to rank up, or just playing casually the game tho.
That reset need to be spaced. I know it gives an addictive factor to give people some will to play every months, but still..

The main issue to me is : I played live, and it seems like my ranking transfered from live to PTB.
The first time I played PTB (a few days ago), I got myself deranked to rank 12.
Then I played live, got me to rank 6-7.
Switched back to PTB for the new patch >> rank 6-7 on PTB.
Since most survivors just D/C since it's PTB, there's nearly no high ranks.
I waited 1 hour yesterday, found no-one. -
I asked for that in some threads too, definitely +1.

They have reduced the required scores to rank up on the PTB.
We'll probably get way more high ranks survivors next season. -
It definitely requires a buff.
It's too situational to be useful.I'm all for perks to be fitting to a certain gameplay, but this perk is just out of place in term of strength, like most perks in this game tho.
-
Showing the killer name has both downsides and advantages.
Overall, it has more advantages tho, and since it's mostly not gameplay related (except by possibly being able to predict which killer is gonna get picked by the player's name), it could definitely be a thing. -

Tho it was on steam forums, so things might be different here. (I heavily doubt it)Why would you get banned for a strike? What?
Do we secretly get paid money or something? Something I missed that we HAVE to play and be quiet? ._.The last time we attempted it on steam, we got (severely) threatened, because a group or an announcement to regroup to boycott a game is strictly forbidden and can actually lead to a steam account suspension.
It's steam policy, so as I said, it may not apply here. -

Has anyone collected data about PTB?
Is the level exp requirement a logarithmic curve, linear or whatever? or will it simply flatten at some point and yyou need the same amount of exp for lvl 120 as for lvl 130 e.g.?The only thing I can say is it's not perfectly logarithmic.
From one level to another, the exp requirement can increase and the shard may not.
The amount of EXP required definitely Flatten very quickly around 2100~ from what I've seen. -
I think people noticed that you get better at the game the more you play it. Yes.
"Godlike" is only a term you can use when you play Nurse, or when the survivors are average and you still have an edge against them.
Survivors that do not make grevious mistakes will still very likely stomp you. -
The last time we got a quick cooldown on hits, survivors went full riot on every platforms and got this ######### nerfed in a month or so.
It would be mostly used to counter campers overall (and eventually bodyblockers) which is sorta wrong.
The main issue isn't that you can't hit quick enough, the main issue is that they can recover from it under a very few secs while being relatively safe imo, trivializing the consequences of getting hit.I'd like to have a week without everyone having either SC or a medkit. That could be fun to see people struggling and have actual consequences for their bold plays.
-
Many things are wrong.
First, making ENduring to be a one second stun is pointless.
Second, enduring isn't a 75% stun reduction, it's a 75% stun recovery, leading to a 35%~ stun reduction on average on DS.
Note that DS cannot be less than a 0,8~s stun since the dropping animation stun is 0,8s~, which doesn't even include the time the survivor need to run away. If you make it 1s, the survivor will be able to only run around 2 meters at best, which would be very dumb. -
@Juya said:
Is it easy to level in the ptb???1-2 rounds for early levels, then it become 3/4, then I'm not sure, I didn't go high enough.
IT obviously depends on the round duration tho, but on average, it seems allright. -

I've already seen a few vids where some runners were chainstunning the hunter mind-jump when he tried to climb a cliff, it was rather hilarious already.
When they're gonna introduce progress, powers and probably a few nerfs, the game may have a very difference visage.
They already did, Hunter got nerfed and so did turrets and other small mechanics.
Its a new game and abusing flaws like the stun dart is part of the beta process, so it gets fixed before launch. If you ignore all that and look at the core, you see that the Hunter is intimidating because of its power and i think we need that here.
Both games are very different tho.
Ddb is about memes, and survivors are not supposed to fully cooperate. The fact they do, especially powered by SWF and voicecom, provoed to be an issue.
Deathgarden, however, is a full team game. If you do not cooperate, you just die in a matter of minutes. In essence, both games are very different, which requires a different killer ofc.
I don't agree and i think both games are more similar than you think.
What you said fully describes Friday the 13th for me, memes and people not giving a damn about others.I simply think the overaltruistic meta deformed the vision of dbd as a solo selfish game, and the dev empathizing the teamplay and the fact that survivor could be able to save people from the hook from a lot more situations, helped a lot in that regard.

It's PTB.
Last time I asked devs, they told me that iteration will very likely not go through it.i know it's PTB man, but it's pretty annoying to see every single time that if a survivor is in an scenario where he should be at a disadvantage he's given all the free out of jail cards that are possible. Thinking about it as a survivor: Why should i work hard, if the killer can work for me?
it just doesn't make any sense and it frustrates me so much. And i know these are subject to change and that the iteration may not pass the PTB, but still the idea is just absurd
We told them that that change doesn't make sense, and they seemed to agree, the last time they answered us on discord. Feel free to hop in if you want to discuss it with them, they're very consistently around these last days. (I can send you a link on your wall if desired)
It seems like they do some testing to know what people think about different mecanics, maybe to make a mix in the end of their best feedbacks.
send me an invite to that discord please, i would love to be in it, didn't know it exist
It's on your wall!

You are simply being a triggered fanboy and spamming the flag button, despite knowing that this is a valid question.Your logic of “well this is a valid issue i agree with, but I know the devs dont care, so I may as well call this pollution” is laughable. The irony is that people like you, flagging any post you disagree with, despite knowing its valid, are what ruined the previous forum, is kind of funny.
At this point, your ego is bruised, and you will continue to attempt to argue with me to derail the thread. Stay on topic or leave.
I'm just saying we don't need 3 threads about that, and 1 was enough.

Only devs can answer that question, not sure what randoms can do about it, and creating yet another new thread isn't gonna make them want to answer more. -

They told me to trust and wait, and tbh, there's nothing we can do to either : wait and trust, or leave and go (play civilization).I'll trust when I see signs of that Freddy rework. But the real reason I want all killers to be viable is so that my survivor experience is more varied. Nothing but Nurse, Billy and Huntress past mid-ranks, because when it isn't them you win the majority of the time.
