I gave an example for Meg, because she does have the best teachables in the game so most people would probably pick her, I don't think this is a good idea, because having 7 perks is really unfair.
You want meta to change, but with this you would increase the amount of meta perks in play.
Meg for example, 2 of her perks are meta, add DS, Unbreakable, Deliverence and Soul Guard and you just can't lose.
I'm going to be honest here. I never went below rank 10...
I never went full meta and barely played killer.
I never went below rank 10 becaus I always ended up taking beaks frome the game due to how BORING it is and I never went full meta for the same reason, it's braindead and too easy. There's also no way the game will ever be balanced in a 1v4 format, NEVER. They'd need 2V8 or 3V9/12 to make it work.
The game has gotten worse for each balance change they bring, nerf after nerf and then the few buff that rarely comes between.I didn't even start about the pointless grindin-
Look I just can't care about the meta or balance. Not when the game has become unfun to a crippling standard to me. Finally, I don't even understand how I- or anyone can/should care about the balance of the game when the devolppers don't even take it as seriously as the community itself.
I understand what you're talking about but I just can't see this game being balanced anytime soon...

You know that there is a certain Spirit meta in red ranks, giving Survivors their perks like a base power would create probably a Meg meta, everybody would play Meg, because why wouldn't you? Her perks are one of the best in the entire game, and having 7 perks sounds fun, doesn't it?
Also it's false that most people play Meg, at least I don't encounter many of them.
I never said meg was THE most played, claudette is. Meg is definitively in second though.
Anyway, talking about the meta is POINTLESS.
It has been the same for YEARS now. Barely changing from one per to another for survivors. Plus the gameplay is so boring, bring the same 4 perks stay in front of the same gen for 80 sec repeat it until the doors open.
Killer aren't so far from this repetitiveness either. So allowing such a change woul, YES, make more fun for everyone and be a breath of fresh air. Even if it wouldn't change the meta "much" it still would change something!

This will create a really boring Survivor meta, It's annoying to see a lot of Blendettes already, and with this you would see so much more Megs... Probably only Megs...
Only megs....?
I personally think it would cause more characters to be played( not everyone play meta only.)
Like... I don't get where that idea comes from?

You DO realize that the majority of survivors you see are already claudette and meg right?
My idea is at lest trying to bring diversity to that.
As for hag. you know there is a maximum of 5 totems.. right?
-
I agree, even if it means some played DCing/avoiding lobbies.
-
Wait... are you playing on console?
Or am I missing something because pallet dropping and vaulting use different input on PC.

WGLF has the same issue.( for me at least)

Who knows what they will do..but their plan will turn the balance to horrible levels for a while
That's only because they take far too long to adjust or change the balance, they always wait a few month between each change making it painful for one side most of the time.
-
I actually agree, if the killer is actively searching your area the crows shouldn't spawn.

Fixing gens is just boring. So what you want to do is to punish survivors for reaching higher ranks by prolonging the boring part of the game. I don't think that this is the way game should work. Yes, gen rushers are annoying, yes we do need some fix around this but no, it should not be based on ranking.
This^
Plus... people might just go and derank to avoid this anyway.

I know that a solo survivor gets less bp than a killer, but I don't really like how the "just give me points for no reason" is good for the game. One very strange way to gain points was the changes for the obsession giving points for dying, how a new player should react when they see "You did good because you died" ?
I agree that no one should get bloodpoint for doing nothing, but we should get bloodpoint for "participating" .
For example, You're working on a gen/ in the middle of a chase and some performs a reqcue? you should receive half of the blood boint for doing "your part"
Survivor can't be everywhere and so it is much harder for them to get full blood point in all categories. This is why survivors should get "teamplay" BPs as long as they are participating.
Oh! Also survivors don't receive Bloodpoint for nearly every actions like killers do. They instead get them through completing certains objective which makes it harder to gain bloodpoint in general.
-
Yea 100% I'm tired of looping it's the only really good option to flee from a killer.
-
I personally think this perk is trash due to how the camera works for survivors and how it gives "fake" calls if you flick your camera too much.
-
It just seems too weak to ever be useful, and has too much of a high risk anyway...
-
To be honest... this idea is amazing! I hate end game perk in general due to Noed.
But your idea for this perk seems 100% fun play with and against.
I wish I could up-vote twice.
-
no need to say this they are already doing it.
-
make healing not so crappy anymore.
Isn't it the main reason gen rush was in increase?
-
Yea, I agree. But I think chest should respawn items after a while too/instead.
I think most chest/ items perks are weak because items and chest are so limited.
-
I love the pants for science fair claudette. Those violets pants plus the red boots are just adorable!

By the time you actually reach tier 3, there should be pretty much all gens done already. That's only if they're good and don't mess up, which more than half of my games are full surv. who just tea bag and let him charge up.....
Plus why does everyone has fun saying reaching tier 3 is hard? #########.

The pig isn't getting value out of tunneling the person with the RBT on them...So you're telling me that instead of getting a kill the Killer should ignore an injured Survivor and look for full health Survivors instead.
Genius. No, you should not focus on the survivor with a trap on it's head because he basically will die if they decides to do gens instead of removing the RBT.
Also if the 3 other survivors are not total jackass they'll wait a while before continuing to do gens meaning the pig has plenty of time to find and catch them. Of course if she decides to tunnel.... the survivors that aren't trapped tend to just rush the gen considering whoever got a trap on their head doesn't stand a chance.

Honestly, I had 0 excitement or hype for the legion for some reason but I kinda think that they are going to do a good job with this killer. I don't want to say I am hyped but yeah this is not going to be a terrible killer.I hope for a killer that has map pressure, and high mobility that requires skill from both sides to deal with. I don't much care about his 'tier', not bottom tier and a fun killer is enough for me. It would be great if we get another high tier killer like hillbilly though.
This is what the legion was, high map pressure with tons of mobility. The legion was basically a combo of the pig and the nurse. Yet many considered him weak, complained and asked for buffs.
And this is what we have now, a killer without counter-play.

Did the other 3 survivors escape?If they're wise/smart yes.
If they're dumb no.Why does it matter though? In one case you're forced to see everyone escape while staying still for 2 minutes and the other you're cringing for 2 whole minutes.
nether of those are pleasant to watch...
-
Yea I think they should change the rng to 25%>50%>75%>100% from 25%>25%>25%...
It would be better that way considering there is a chance for you to get out early and spice up the gameplay a little.
-
You misread, they changed leader % from 3%/ 6%/ 9% to 15%/20%/25% hence why it doesn't work on gens anymore. Prove thyself also had % increased, but only works on gens now.

NoxiousOnnyyxx said:Omg buff all killer perks because it's not like they haven't been favored enough....grow up
Okay explain. I can take this statement and replace the word killer with survivors and have the same impact
Survivor, mainly got 2 big nerfs, pallets and healing speed. Which reduced their survivability.
And survivors we're always lackluster in term of stealth, making these buffs pretty neat.So I don't understand any of these complaints myself...
-
This is silly. BBQ was the best reveal ability in the game, having close to no counterplay.(other than standing within it's radius or behind a gen.)
Lockers are the worst tool to avoid the killer. It's a high risk but low reward tool with limited accessibility. With this change thought, it will actually be worth it to use the lockers other than the few niche it had before that.
I also do not understand all the complaints about distortion, it seems to be the worst of the 3 new perk, simply because I see it all the 3 tokens melting within the first half of the match.
-
That's not new... every character in this game seems to suffer from asthma.

Never. Blinded by 4k greed.
No, no. It's more like "Imusttunnel" syndrome.
The legion is just like the pig as in, it is at your disadvantage to tunnel a single survivor the whole game.
-

-
I don't see frenzy as a killing tool.Actually, it is great for mobility.(You move so much more quickly and vault faster.)
And works great as an elaborate "distraction" tool.
All that mobility let legion:
-Patrol generators(and the map) with ease.
-Catch survivors faster compared to his regular speed. ( You do move faster than them while in frenzy after all.)
-Take a "way around" during the chase to "ambush".(A good example of what I'm trying to say would be: You're chasing a wounded meg in Lery's map/treatment theater, she's getting out of a room and turns right, instead of following her you go the window on the right side of the room and stab her as she crosses the corner and she's down.)Deep wound is really useful tool for mostly everything but killing the afflicted survivors. It's main role is to force them of the gens, just like the pig, with her reversed bear trap. And with the ability to reveal any survivor in your terror radius when you inflict Deep-wound, you can easily find survivor on gens and while chasing them the one inflicted with deep wound is too busy mending and healing themselves to work on generators.
Or at least this is how I see the "basics" of this killer.
-
Makes all the genrators explodes killing any survivor working on it, when the totem is cleansed, and preventing the others from escaping.

cos there's a ratio of 4 - to - 1 for survivors and salty. roughly the same percent of killers are as salty as the same amount of survivors, you just see more survivors in every game so it's more obvious.Do people not realize how absolutely stupid they sound when they try to say a community of 4 to 1 somehow comes off as even in any aspect of anything??
Considering a large part of the community players both killers and survivors, this whole thread makes no sense.
-
I'm curious about why it is 7 survivors instead of 8...?
-
You can blame that on the emblem which forces the survivors to race over for gen!
It shouldn't really be a thing, but the emblem update came everything became a race for survivors.

The problem is not only the hook. Once the gates are open, the survivors block the killer, so het can´t down the injured survivor. Since they get a speed burst, they can easily take rounds at protecting the injured. There´s not really much the killer can do.
Yeah, damn those people working as a team in a 4 vs 1 game.
Hold on...
When the team sucks = "give me my free escape, because it´s not fair that i get punished because my team sucks"
When the team wins = "yeah we are supposed to work as a team, that´s why we win"Find the error.
There's none.
That's basically what it is to be solo survivor. Hit or miss, with your teammate.
Also the only time I consider the hatch a free escape it's when the survivor taking it didn't work on gens at all.
