You shouldn't really be chasing at Grim Pantry main at all unless they're literally giving you a free hit. It's one of the best main buildings in the game.
-
Last year's anniversary offering also had the added effect of revealing the aura of the Crown Pillar, and that one is still useable now.
-
I don't think having Punishment inflict Torment would be fair even if it was an Ultra Rare addon.
That said, he does need an addon pass in general, but this isn't one I'd like to see.
-
In the Lore, there are survivors who give up completely and stop trying to survive. These survivors are cast into the Void by the Entity.
In terms as to why Survivors keep trying to Survive, I'd imagine the main motivation is to avoid a really painful death. Getting ripped up by a machete doesn't seem all that pleasant even if you know you'll live to tell the tale (in a way).
In the case of some Survivors, they enjoy beating a deadly adversary, which sounds pretty weird and twisted, but it makes sense. Ace always has a smile on his face, regardless of the circumstances. In Feng's lore it mentions how she doesn't despair being in the entity's realm, and how she's determined to win. Bill spent decades resenting his peaceful life, all he wanted was an enemy to fight.
There's probably something exhilarating about managing to outsmart and escape a deadly killer, and that feeling would be enough for some people to push on.
-
I just wish they'd give back the super fast and guaranteed hook regen to Hangman's Trick. There's literally zero reason to run it currently and it'd give it a niche I guess.
-
At least everyone will get max points? Maybe instead they should uncap the bloodpoint categories against her, then people would have a lot more fun lol.
-
I mean, Wraith is super common on EU anyway from my experience. The real age of Wraith was before they nerfed his lunge, that wasn't a very fun time at all.
-
The NOES license holders would have to approve of that, and I doubt they will. I think Freddy and Quentin are the only characters without store cosmetics at the moment, which is really a shame.
-
The endgame collapse isn't meant to make the endgame harder for survivors. It's meant to make the game end after a while, and it does it's job. Before it was added, Survivors could stick around forever and take the game hostage once the gates were open, but now that's no longer possible.
-
The stalking movement speed ones? I sometimes throw those on, they're nice to have. I wish they changed them like they did with Ghostface, though. They should merge the two most effective ones into one single addon so I don't have to run two of them to get a good effect.
-
I would really hate this. Timing is really important with Doctor, and this would mess with it pretty significantly.
Also, if you let go of the power just before it's fully charged, then it would end up giving you the movement speed penalty without firing off the Shock Therapy. Anyone who played Leatherface before his rework knows this pain.
-
A lot of killers can get wins with 2 perks (or even no perks) provided the skill level of the player is sufficient and the skill levels of the survivors aren't great. It's not really shocking.
-
They don't think it's ok, they're updating her again in the future and are looking for a way to solve the issue of super lengthy 3 gens as a whole.

I agree bleeding out for the whole four minutes when the killer absolutely can hook the survs is bs and needs to be looked at.
There are times however survs aren't doing themselves any favors by purposely going down in hook dead zones too. Both of these things have to be considered.
If a Survivor gets instantly bled out when they get a crow, wouldn't that decrease the amount of time they could sit in a hook deadzone for?

Its a thin line.
If they don't do enough, people will complain.
If they do to much, people will say they are ruining the game and "forcing it" on everyone.
I feel the devs have gone above and beyond to show they are allies and hate will not be tolerated. The LGBT movement had its own event and charms, which cant be said about other marginalized groups. I also do not think that sexuality plays a part in this game. It doesn't matter which characters identify as or who they are attracted to. The survivors are all working together to survive a killer, not go on a date.
I don't think people who claim the existence of LGBT representation is "forcing it" on everyone are worth listening to at all.
-
Franklin's Pinhead was never actually good, just a crutch for players who struggled to get downs with his power. It was arguably detrimental if you could down the box holder fast.
This was a pretty common complaint against killers that had items associated with their power. I don't think it will be that detrimental to any killer's power, while improving the gameplay experience for Survivors in general. You still have to go out of your way to perform the interaction, which still diverts Survivors away from generators.

yes it would take a bit longer to get the med kit but pharmacy makes you search chests 80% faster that's 2 seconds to open the chest.
but what if all the chests are already opened? the perk dose not do anything then.
also say you open a chest and get a med kit out of it but later in the match you need to heal again you can go back to that chest and rummage it for another med kit this change will give the pharmacy more utility overall.
From all of my Pharmacy usage (I am a certified Quentin enjoyer), not being able to get a single medkit using it in a trial is exceedingly rare. I'm far more likely to get 2 or 3 Medkits than 0. People generally don't open chests unless they have a good reason to (like Plunderer's Build or another Pharmacy user, but you basically never see these).
This change would solve a 1/100 game scenario while making the perk far worse. Not worth it. Making it rummage-only would kill the perk (even more than it already has been).
A much better idea in my opinion would to give the perk a single rummage token, that goes away if you open a chest while injured or rummage a chest. It wouldn't change the perk's regular usage while giving it something to fall back on in the rare case of all chests being opened.
Like @sizzlingmario4 said anyway, this isn't the biggest issue with the perk at the moment. It got absolutely obliterated by the nerf to Medkits and needs a speed buff badly.
-
That'd end up being a nerf, one of the only things Pharmacy has left going for it is that you get the medkit fast.
-
He has a 40m lullaby, you get plenty of warning if he's coming, and he can't get rid of it with perks. If you're caught out in the open against a Trickster then that's your fault.
-
It's not permanent, you can cleanse the status effect.

they have seen my post haha, jk, I hope they will make something fun with his power. Freddy is incredibly basic, and that's sad, because his character has a lot of potential.
Yeah, I hope they do him justice.

Yet people say that the blight with 1k wins is evidence that blight needs to be nerfed. You can't have it both ways. Also, just because something is rare doesn't mean it isn't a problem. Here is otzdarva saying that exact thing.
https://clips.twitch.tv/AwkwardMildFerretPipeHype-0ehry4t4zExHh7Bo
I don't remember saying Blight needs to be nerfed in that post. I don't remember mentioning Blight at all, actually. You're assuming that because other people have a certain opinion, that I automatically agree with it.
In fact, Blight is generally fine. He has some overpowered addons, which need to be toned down, but he does not need to be nerfed at a base level. Same with toolboxes, they don't need to be gutted at the base level, but Brand New Parts could do with a rework of some kind.
You make a disingenuous argument and then quote a content creator at me like he's automatically right about everything. Sums up the forums quite well honestly.
-
I mean these are some of the best players consistently bringing the best stuff, it's not really representative of a regular lobby. You don't often get lobbies with this many Brand New Parts, and especially not with these kinds of players. A lot of lobbies with stacked BNP I end up winning because the players are just not that good.
Brand New Parts could do with a nerf/rework but I don't think an edge case like this is worth gutting every single gen speed unlockable in the game over.

i think its pretty good in mettle of man builds. you run a med-kit with styptic agent when blocking hooks then you go to the basement and heal. After that, you bodyblock the hook one last time and now you get Mettle of man. certainly not a meta build to escape with survivor but it is funny meme perk.
Inner Strength is just objectively better. You get more heals and they're way faster now.
-
The change to Pharmacy was a net buff, but they should add the Chest opening modifiers while healthy as a QoL change, and give Pharmacy a single rummage token that can be used just in case of all chests being opened (as well as guaranteeing Green Medkits on an injured chest search, maybe the token could go away if you got a Green Medkit from a chest).
I don't think making it a one-use only rummage perk would make it see any more use at all. It'd make getting the medkit take much longer (since you have to open a chest and THEN rummage, all with no speed bonus), and you'd only get one whereas you can currently get multiple. It'd be worse than the original Pharmacy.
What really killed Pharmacy, though, was the change to Green Medkits. There really isn't a reason to use it after that.
-
I like it, but a nice feature would be allowing players to choose any of the previous icons to display under their p100. A tiny reward for reaching it.
-
Some pretty neat ideas, I've seen a lot of suggestions of tweaking Old Freddy, but I've never seen the idea of having Dream Projection centered on a Survivor. I kinda like it. I assume it'd be pretty much exactly like Cenobite's teleport where it's a certain distance away and applies a brief movement speed penalty. It could also do with an anti-camp mechanic as to not immediately teleport straight to a hook, kind of like Dredge has.
The only thing I'll suggest to tweak is the micro sleep timer. 45s would probably be a little short to keep failing Skill Checks. That said I've also never seen an idea incorporating microsleep into Old Freddy's kit before either.
Having a Survivor get pulled immediately into the Dream World if they're working on an action would probably be too strong as well. Maybe it could apply Incapacitated instead but with these buffs to pressure and mobility I'm not certain it would be necessary.
Cool ideas, and really neat formatting (like god damn this is a great looking post).
-
Is this a post straight out of 2020?
Object is not even remotely a good perk anymore, and it's barely used (Nightlight reports a 0.23% use rate). The intermittent aura reveal can really screw you over at times and isn't even guaranteed to work. It's an RNG based Aura reading perk essentially.
It needs a buff if anything.

Badham I and V are pretty decent maps, the rest are rough for killer.
@Ghoste said:
I'm still annoyed that we have 5 versions of Badham. None of them are different enough to warrant their existence.
There's 5 versions because each version has the main structures moved around (and sometimes has a different shape in the case of IV and V). It doesn't make the map more likely to appear, since map selection is done by realm first.

That offering does not affect other players, like the Bound Envelope.
There aren't any other killers in the lobby to give bloodpoints to.
-
@BarnesFlam said:
Speaking of stackable bonus offerings, why killers don't have the Bound Envelope? Seems like a "f you, got mine" situation.

It's only really significant if you let the timer deplete a lot, really.

i didnt know the moris are locked behind cosmetics. what exactly do you mean by gambling? i played mobile years ago when it came out and since then i havent touched it.
DBD Mobile has a feature where you can gamble Auric Cells for random cosmetics. All those flashy cosmetics with the unique moris can only be obtained this way, and are very rare.
-
Pretty much all of the custom moris are locked behind Gacha outfits I think. Custom moris would be really cool to have on the main game, but they shouldn't be bound to outfits and they ESPECIALLY shouldn't be locked behind gambling mechanics.
The main game and mobile game have seperate developers, yes, so there's pretty major differences in balance and mechanics. I think DH for distance is still a thing on mobile, plus they're missing a few chapters that are on the main game.
-
Scratched Mirror has never been good really, there's a reason it's always paired with a specific build and map offering. I think it would be better if the Developers buffed the Tier 1 Movement Speed instead.
-
It's a cool perk, seems pretty damn good, maybe even meta changing. Anti-exhaustion synergy is nice too, so you can't run it with Lithe or SB all that effectively. I think it shouldn't stack with other instances of Haste, but I don't really want to see it significantly nerfed at all.
-
Since when does Pharmacy allow you to interact with opened chests?
Anyway, I think it could be a neat thing to add to those two perks. Showing the auras of un-rummaged chests could be a nice touch, but most of the chests you end up rummaging anyway are ones you open yourself.
-
Verify your game files maybe?

More developer streams?
At what cost?
We're only getting three new killers this year instead of 4.
(Hope it means the killers are Wesker-tier fun/balanced.)
We're still getting 4 killers though.
-
I'm not sure. On the one hand, they pretty much always drop PTBs right after the stream, but considering it's a Friday and the community managers won't be working to collect feedback over the weekend, they might delay it.
-
Weird, I'm pretty sure we're both on PC too.
Also that username bestie c'mon
-
This man will do literally every role he gets offered I love it
-
Technician doesn't reduce the volume of generator repairs, it only reduces the distance from which they become audible. It stays the same volume, it's just the killer will only hear them from 12m away instead of 20m.
-
Did you get flashlight saved while performing the Locker Search action, or while grabbing a Survivor currently entering/exiting a locker? The latter does not provide protection from flashlight saves.

It its actually funny though...no one dodged my Skull Merchant yet and the matches lasted the typical amount (maybe 6 minutes longer) since i dont babysit gens and refuse to move and i actually go and harass survivors working on other ones. From the responses i got it seems survivors do not really want to use strategy and just want to rush gens and ''loop'' behind an extremely safe tile. Of course if the killer has antiloop like Artist its hold shift+W or predrop god pallet. ''Boring'' in this community is code for ''this killer cant be looped normally and i cant just rush gens so this is bad'' Some of my most fun matches were trying to mindgame nurses and spirits.Looping a poor Sadako that decided to tunnel me for 3 gens while kinda fun was ultimately not exciting since there was nothing she could do in a map like Borgo with 12 safe pallets. I personally find slugging builds boring since i usually just stare at my bleeding body for 3 minutes but to each their own.
Can you please find the enter key on your keyboard, thanks.

I don’t see how what was said by the dev was misconstrued. The “skills-based” matchmaking system literally works exactly as described by that person in that Q&A. All this time later, this same terrible skills-based MM system is still in place and the devs continue to defend it using the same logic.
He was trying to say how the system doesn't care about individual wins or losses. It only cares about how you do over multiple matches. Everyone took it as "if you die at all you're terrible at the game" when really it was meant as "if you're constantly dying then you're probably doing something wrong".
-
Last time there was a Q&A, a bunch of people misconstrued what a developer said and got pissed off about it. I can kind of see why they're hesitant to do another one any time soon.
-

Could be a hotfix?
Probably, it's odd that it hasn't come with any sort of patch notes though. No version number change either.

You can deploy a Drone basically anywhere as long as it isn't close to another Drone (the distance limit is 22 metres) or close to a Hooked Survivor (16 metres).
You can recall her Drones at any time, there's no condition to meet except pulling out your radar and pressing the recall button while facing the Drone you want to recall.
