this is not true at all, Ghost Face is licensed too and received the chase music 1 year ago
That is absolutely true. They would've had to have talked to the license holders of Ghost Face to change the chase music.
It doesn't mean that those killers will never get chase music, it's just that they have to go to the licensors first before it can be done.

There's only 6 more missing: Trapper, Wraith, Bubba, Freddy, Pig, Plague
Please add a ''Hello Zepp'' themed chase music for my girl Amanda Young
edit: forgot about Bubba
3 of those are licensed, so it's not up to BHVR when they get chase music. I think they're probably going to keep the original chase music for Trapper at least too.

Honestly just flopping on the ground is funnier.
-
They've likely opted with safer values for the PTB, as Condemned is a mechanic that could potentially get out of hand. I expect there will be changes to the Live build.
-
Another issue I find with the perk is that the fact it only shows the auras of hooks when a survivor is picked up gives you a lot less time to plan ahead. I'd like it if it revealed auras when someone was put into the dying state.
-
It's a PTB. They can always make changes to live. I guess they want to be careful about buffing Hangman's Trick because last time they did, it ended up covering the entire map.
-
There was a developer update.
Go to the Information Center, and then either Patch Notes for Patch Notes, or Game Info for Developer Updates.
-
I still don't know why this hasn't been changed yet. The few people I know who actually used Calm Spirit for the most part swapped the perk out for something else after the change. The penalty heavily outweighs the benefit of the effect.

This is still happening as of the latest Patch.

I honestly don't know.

Well think about it, assassins have only one hex that can be destroyed, high reward at high price. However, boon perks do not have that restriction, Survivors can bless a totem as many times as they want and the perk that destroys totems charges a perk slot from the killer
Boons are a extra perk for all survivors in the game
It doesn't seem fair to me that the survivors have infinite opportunities to bless a totem over and over again and the killer only takes one with undying hex :c
More than anything it is not a nerf, it is a balance to be fair, do you understand my point?
It's okay if you don't share my point of view I'm glad you read my post n n

Boons and Hexes are mechanically quite different. Hexes are generally passive, and affect the entire trial. Boons require a set up period and only apply their effects to a certain range, they do nothing outside of their radius. That's why Boons are renewable and Hexes are not, because they're a time investment and only have a limited range.

That's one of the Event skills, you can expose a Survivor when you get Bloodlust.

It's not three to four niche applications, though. It's one niche application that only three to four killers could even use- and of those potential four, only one gets any real use out of it whatsoever.
It is a loss, obviously, but it's a pretty miniscule one. Franklin's was hit harder by this change, and even that wasn't hit particularly hard.
The difference is that Franklin's was and still is a very effective perk without acting on limited items. This was kinda Hoarder's main thing in practice.
-
Deep Wound is not counted as a proper health state when it comes to killer perks, and mending does not count as healing. It won't proc Nurse's while mending, and won't activate perks that require losing a health state to activate when hitting an injured survivor with Deep Wound.

I thought it already didn't work on those killers? I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that the vaccine and the first aid spray already didn't count. Or maybe it was just those chests not counting, I'm not sure...
Either way, that upgrades it from one mildly useful and overhyped application to... three mildly useful and overhyped applications, which doesn't really change my overall point.
Better to have 3-4 niche applications than none at all, if you ask me.
-
I don't think they're ever going to add a feature like this.
-
Release Freddy was actually a pretty good killer once you managed to learn how his power worked properly. He was largely misunderstood due to bhvr failing to telegraph important parts of his power to the killer player, mainly the Dream Transition invisibility.
-
@jesterkind said:
I feel like this is kind of an overreaction. Only one killer got an interaction removed, I don't think it's fair to say that this perk was 'ruined' or 'nuked' because one specific killer can't use it to do a super specific kind of overrated thing anymore.
Hoarder suffers for the exact same reason that perks like Ace in the Hole or Plunderer's Instinct suffer. If chests and their loot were more worth going for, Hoarder would be a perfectly usable perk, but nobody has any reason to care about chests right now. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it's going to be very difficult to meaningfully buff it while chests and their loot are in the state they're in.
I mean, it worked on any killer with a Special Item as a part of their power. It was pretty useful on Wesker and Nemesis and I'm sure it would've been quite good on Singularity if the behaviour wasn't changed in the same patch.
-
It gives Ghostface good slugging potential. Being able to down a Marked Survivor and instantly go back into Night Shroud to mark and down another person is pretty good.
-
Let's give HUX a skin with that one annoying tiktok voice.
-
Hag's perk names all go super hard. Ruin, Devour Hope, The Third Seal. Great icons too.

- ambush should be basic attack (its literally programmed as an extended lunge)
- ambush should charge up a little faster/slow you instead of stopping you
- combat straps basekit NOW
- 4m/s crouched
- bring back 24m TR piggy
- traps should instakill you if you try to leave with it on even if unactivated. Late game piggy forever.
Pig never had a 24m TR. It was 28m.
Inactive traps not instakilling you when you try to leave is for a very good reason. It would be unfair with the Endgame Collapse. You can still make good endgame plays as Pig, you just have to get the traps on just before the last gen is finished, then you can open the gates and everyone with an active trap will likely die either way.

Pigs crouch should definitely be reworked to be as smooth and free as ghostface
Pig's crouch is tied to her stealth, unlike Ghostface who is on a separate cooldown. It should probably be made a little faster, but making it as fast as Ghostface really isn't an option.
-
Out of all the achievements, this one was the worst honestly. It took a LOT of RPD badges and a dedicated build of Sole Survivor/Wake Up/Low Profile and one other perk (usually Pharmacy before it got absolutely dumpstered with the Medkit changes).
Whoever designed this one must've been feeling particularly evil that day.
-
Coldwind already has a lot of pallets.
-
Identity V released a survivor somewhat recently that replaces the regular skill checks with a rhythm game kind of thing and he's REALLY fun. You get up to a 20% cipher decode bonus if you can keep the combo going. He also gets a speed boost ability for hitting his tuning fork which also requires a small rhythm minigame.
I don't know if it'd transfer well in dbd though, IDV are known for their crazy concepts when it comes to hunter/survivor abilities. It'd be really cool if there was a perk that did something similar though.
-
Weird, I never got this question.
-
I hope they just nerf the stupid strong addons, and don't touch his basekit. He's a really fun killer for both sides until you throw in the overpowered addons, and seeing his basekit nerfed would be a massive shame.
-
Not to be too petty, but you did kinda do this exact same thing a couple weeks back, just with Blight instead.
-
I remember once, years ago, they listed a bunch of perks that were scheduled for updates. Blood Echo is the only one on that list that still hasn't been touched to this day.
Almo pls, I beg u
-
STBFL is really good on him. Brutal is very nice.
-
BHVR only care about a cosmetic's exclusivity when it can make them money, which is kinda funny.

yeah, idk, they should rework it.
I wouldn't mind if it would be " injured survivors afflicted with Temporal slipstream suffer from broken status effect" and was moved back to very rare, while plant fibers is respectfully put back where it belongs
I think that would end up being too much, they should increase the timer a lot though.
-
40 seconds wasn't really enough to make use of anyway, 30 seconds is even worse.

Well, the kids ball glove one was expected, it was just basically his best add-on and as a brown one, it was abundantly available.
The other changes we will have to wait and see, I guess. Its nothing unusual to shuffle the rarities of add-on around when a new killer gets added to the game, as with the big real field data comes the realisation, which add-ons are actually played and offer a tangible advantage.
I am sad that the cremated remains now only inflict blindness, though, as killer instinct is always more fun. Oh well, lets wait and see and test it out, but I am not automatically opposed to this changes.
The cremated remains change has a typo, it was always a blindness addon, it just only applied when near a biopod but now it's when you're slipstreamed.
-
Some got nerfed, some got buffed, and some just had a rarity change.

Maybe they can give him a Freddy cosmetic...
Victor runs off with Freddy's hat, more news at 7.
I hope Freddy has as many hats as Wesker has sunglasses.
-
@LordGlint said:
The idea of Victor chasing someone with a little tiny top hat would be too OP. I'd be too busy dying laughing to have a chance at dodging.
His head has been cold for too long... it's time to give that boy a HAT!
-
You can't stun a Nurse during her fatigue.
-
The perk got nerfed alongside a few other meta ones. It now only provides a heal speed bonus to altruistic heals without a medkit within the Boon's radius. It also reveals the Auras of injured Survivors to everyone while they're in the radius.

Look at numbers again. You are wrong.
What numbers? BHVR haven't released any official stats in a while (and when they did no killers had under a 50% kill rate) and Nightlight doesn't report any killer with a sub-40% kill rate.
I think you're just making stuff up honestly.
-
I think the Aura reading should kick in when a Survivor is put into the Dying State, to allow for better positioning. Apart from that, Saboteur is fine.

@Barbarossa2020 said:
Can we add the option to kill all survs standing inside the gates after 30 secs if they have nothing to do as well?
Maybe not kill, but I think an option to force all living survivors to escape when the gates are open would be good. The less opportunities for BM the better if you ask me.
-
I really don't know why BHVR haven't brought in anything to reduce the time wasting potential of bleedouts yet.
-
It shouldn't have a Terror Radius requirement either. It has too many activation conditions.
-
@Spectralfx said:
These posts are all nice and cool and all, but everyone seems to be missing the point.
they are too busy releasing OP new survivor perks and crappy new useless killers to even THINK about the low tier killers who are performing under 40% killrates.
There are zero killers performing under a 40% kill rate. Literally none of them.
Also, a majority of Survivor perks released recently have been extremely underwhelming, to the point where you hardly see them. Made for This is the first really good perk we've gotten for Survivor in ages.

@GentlemanFridge said:
Since PTB dates themselves can change at any point, it would seem redundant to quasi-announce a PTB before the thing is ready.
Announcing the date save files are transferred wouldn't stop them from being able to change the date of a PTB. We already know roughly when a PTB will release anyway, and that hasn't stopped them from delaying it by a day or two.
-
Sprint Burst and Overcome are way better for holding W.
-
No, making false tickets to support can get you banned from making more support requests but you can't get banned for saying you'll report someone in game.
-
How are you going down to Deep Wound? This isn't 2019.

I had 2 survivor's left and both of them liked to leg it over here whenever chased. Ended up being a 30 minute game before i just went afk, with the last few gens being quite near i just couldn't catch them.
If there's just two survivors left then you can get away with Bloodlusting them. It's just not worth the time otherwise.
