How have they managed to bug flashlights in every patch since Silent Hill.
-
He already has a big red bar around his power icon so I'm surprised they're even reworking him considering that's all the balance team knows how to make.
-
If they won't give people refunds for buying new outfits that went on sale almost immediately after release they definitely won't refund you changing your mind, especially considering you didn't spend real money.

Even when survivors do this it’s dumb.
If it’s end game, well too bad, that was likely a lost game anyway. Get your hits and points in, then move onto another match.
Any other period during the match though, it’s just dumb for a survivor to intentionally eat a BT hit like it’s some sort of “my peen is bigger than yours” gesture.
Seriously, think about it. That survivor is willingly choosing to give the killer a bit more time because they’re now forced to find somewhere to mend. It’s only 15 seconds, but every second counts.
So weird how much survivors roll their eyes at Legion, but they’ll willingly take DW just because they got unhooked. It’s actually just really dumb.
I in fact always make a point of hitting who was unhooked (if it was in my face) so that I can intentionally activate DW before turning my attention back to the rescuer. I can now chase that survivor knowing that other survivor HAS to waste some time doing SOMETHING other than gens for a short period. This actually works to MY advantage if this occurs multiple times per match.
Deep Wound does literally nothing to stall the game compared to a down/injure. Taking a hit with BT is absolutely optimal at any point in the match considering you then have DS to protect you if the killer decides to follow up.
I'm not of the opinion that BT or bodyblocking in general needs a nerf, but it is a little ridiculous that a survivor is almost invincible immediately after being ripped off a soul-sucking meat hook and beaten half to death.
-
If they were to implement regression to the exit gates it should only regress to a certain percentage. Probably just go back to 75% over a short period of time.
-
Nah, I'm pretty psyched about these changes
Buffs for Wraith and Clown, DS changes, bug fixes...
They can completely dumpster Freddy for all I care, never enjoyed playing him anyways.
-
Are we talking about their movie/game versions or DbD versions because that changes things up a lot.
1. Freddy - not because he would be good at defending but because there's no way to defend against him
2. Demo - emotional support
-
New Bug:
Sometimes survivors are able to see their own scratchmarks while not using Fixated.
-
Isn't Plague like 2 inches away from death in the lore? How's she gonna stand up to a kick to the head?
-
People will have already left by the time you heal them
-
Huntress also spawns magic hatchets out of thin air 2 feet to the left of the killer's camera
-
It would be inconsistent between killers and would be difficult to make enough of a variety to warrant a separate category.
What would be a common power skin for Wraith? Maybe he leaves blue confetti behind when he cloaks? I just don't see how they could fill up an entire shop with power cosmetics, not to mention it may confuse new players.
-
The 4.6 m/s slow-run looks so stupid I love it.
-
In terms of pushing a blatantly unfinished product and making an exclusively negative impact on gameplay, yes.
-
Hoarder: Spawn 2 extra chests and lower the rarity of items found inside them.
KNOWN BUGS:
Hoarder: Does not spawn 2 extra chests
Hoarder: Does not lower the rarity of items found inside chests
Lmao
-
That's the point, if they didn't see auras they would never waste time waking up and instead slam gens.
-
Gotta get them quarterly earnings, no time to fix bugs
-
BHVR doesn't delete perks, plain and simple. Hopefully they will look beyond their stats that say Nurse is bottom tier and realize there is more to the story than just "Person with Object doesn't escape 100% of games so it must be fine."
-
No, all 4 survivors have to be killed with the tombstone grab. The game differentiates regular moris from the special addon moris.
I recommend PWYF + Nemesis to zoom around as you don't lose stacks when killing with the tombstone. Trail of Torment also never goes away unless they fix the affected generator.

Most aren’t as useless as many claim. There just isn’t a willingness to either experiment with them to properly understand them, or unwilling to change the way they play to get the best use out of the perk(s).
Call me back when you make Monstrous Shrine viable
-
I enjoy playing all 4 of these. As long as I have some agency in chase beyond just M1 I'm fine playing most killers.
-
If you only play solo survivor you will never have the benefits of a 4-man SWF and risk having mixed SWF and solo queue or, god forbid, only solo survivor games while as killer you are up against significantly more SWF.
Also more solo queue in a game = higher fluctuation in skill/ranks.
-
I can't even put into words how ridiculous "Cleanse 20 Totems" is as a challenge that may only be selected by itself. I've been running Small Game throwing matches just to find them for 2 hours and I still haven't finished.

If I remember correctly, the devs used to do weekly streams before the lockdown.
I'm not sure what would be stopping them from doing the streams now.
Streams are just lore and chit-chat. The questions are unfortunately very handpicked so as to never pertain to anything relating to the actual game. Having streams just for fun and not as a Q&A slog is fine its just disappointing when we have no other way to contact the devs and instead of getting real answers we get a reply to the millionth "Nice cosplay" message.

You can complain about it, but if Freddy gets quite a huge advantage because of Oblivious, it is totally ok if he has a huge disadvantage as well. You will see way more BTs than Objects, so using "the survivors may not even bring" is a bad argument, lol.
If the Devs want to remove the disadvantage Freddy has when it comes to Oblivious, they should also remove the advantages he has. Freddy was not in need of such a Buff to ignore a Anti-Camp Perk without doing anything.
You're saying that the 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳, which inflicts oblivious on survivors, should have a downside equal to/more impactful than its benefits?
I dislike Freddy as much as anyone else but saying that OoO's strength against him is justified because one specific survivor perk maybe doesn't function vs him is ridiculous. A killer power should feel threatening.

Considering "Monitor" is definitely meant to be monitor as in to watch someone as opposed to monitor as in a computer screen it makes sense that abuse is used as a verb, but saying it properly just doesn't sound right. Personally I say it ab-yus.
-
Wow, an actual good idea that would better implement existing mechanics, reduce the ever-increasing grind, and encourage being kind to others.
This concept isn't going anywhere.

Speak for yourself, I land punishment all the time. I never even bother faking the power because I know I can land it. Maybe try practicing.
That's not you being competent its the survivors being incapable of dodging.
If survivors don't want to move away fron the huge glowing rectangle appearing under them then anyone can land POTD out in the open. Same with cross-map hatchets or chainsaws.
-
Its not being spoiled, its keeping the market in check. I'm not paying $60 dollars for your LIDL game disguised as a triple A title just because it has some big brand on the cover. I could go on steam and buy 6 quality indie games that'll last me twice as long for the same amount.

Gearhead syndrome

Fun bus can be an actual infinite loop as long as you break chase every 2 vaults, which is absolutely ridiculous considering this map just got reworked.

Where is STBFL
I run it 24/7 on Freddy and Demo

You've put out 305 bait posts and the people on this forum still haven't caught on. Godspeed.

In an optimal, coordinated SWF: Sprint Burst
For casual play: Dead Hard
I don't know how to judge Adrenaline. It's barely even an exhaustion perk.
-
They should just remove tier 2 and 3 bloodlust since those are only used by bad killers to cheese good survivors who are looping them forever.
-
Don't say anything negative about the game, developers, or moderation team for a 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 long time.

Some of yall need to realize that burning money isn't something to brag about.

It's weird cause he has one of the highest pick rates, especially considering he is paid DLC.

Can people just stop with "platform XY does this and this" ?
For console gamers the global icon includes other consoles.
For PC gamers the global icon includes other PC gamers using STADIA and Windows Store.
Therefore neither console gamers nor PC gamers can even tell whether they faced a console or PC gamer.
Are we really going to pretend that Stadia and Windows Store gamers exist?
And even then only PC players can chat so if nobody responds in the endgame you know they are console

Noone is forcing you to heal yourself after every hit if you are using selfcare.
The no heal meta came just because old ruin became a thing, old ruin is gone, gen speed doesn't require you to rush gens at all cost to win the game. Games are now lost because of poor judgement by survivors and big mistakes not because you are running out of time.
I had so many games where the killer managed to get somehow many hooks at 4 gens but by resetting the game (everyone fully healing alone) the game fate was twisted and we managed to win anyway.
It's not 2017 anymore, gen speed doesn't require you to rush at all costs, game are lost way more due to slugging (consequence of multiple survivor staying injured) than any other reason.
Honestly that's more a consequence of solo queue teammates being dumb. Self-care won't save them from throwing the game and hook-bombing basement.
The one thing Self-care is good for is if you combine it with Resilience or if your team is really terrible in chase and you need to carry.

@Freddy96 said:
Got saved by selfcare way more than ds and many other perks.
I've seen a lot of players saying it's a bad perk and all but then once in game with them they are the ones that will stay injured the whole match because rush gens ya know, and as soon as the killer down someone they will be an easy snowball for the killer where it will be up to the self care user to save everyone with bt where they probably won't even take a hit. When as killer you hook someone and everyone is injured why should you ever leave the hook when you can virtually get an endless amount of trades with 1 secs each chases?
Self care is a really valid perk and it's up to the user to get a value or an hindering out of it.
Here's a new way to look at it:
If you Self-Care to full after a hit the killer has essentially stunned you for 32 seconds. 32 seconds that may be interrupted partway through or immediately wasted if he comes and smacks you again.
The killer can injure you as many times as he wants, but he can't un-repair generators.

PH facecamping can still be mitigated with perks, if the survivors run BT you could lose the person you were camping, why not just use Bubba who can hit twice in one attack thus negating BT?
Can't use BT if I'm always undetectable. Triangle Man has no weakness.

You're wrong, Leatherface is the king of standing still with Insidious, no one comes close.
Virgin Bubber needs to charge a chainsaw, has no range, and doesn't exude pure geometric energy. Chad Pyramid Man is the strongest shape.
