How do you become trusted?

I was just wondering because it doesn't say any where.

  • Basically, it's a tag given to certain forum members by the community team for exemplifying certain qualities that they want to see on the forums - positivity, helpfulness, activity, and an ability to disagree civilly. It indicates that the person in question is "trusted" by the team to behave in a reasonable and positive manner on the forums.

If you want more information about the Trusted program and what it involves, you can find that in this post here:ย https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/89809/pilot-the-trusted-members#latest

You may also notice that Trusted members have custom red avatars. This is not a feature of the Trusted program but of a separate program called Forum User of the Month, which recognises a couple of users every month as standout forum members, usually for exemplifying similar qualities to those looked for in the Trusted program. All the Trusted members have been chosen as FUotM in the past, but not all Forum Users of the Month become Trusted, which is why you may see some users on the forums with the red avatar but no Trusted tag.
