  • Nope, every killer needs to be buffed to match Spirit. Period.

  • Why are all trapper mains the sweetest people

Make Myers 110% speed while in evil within 1 so you can either play the whole game as a stealth killer or level up.

When you stalk you get evil within 2 you become 115% speed and have a TR of 16 meters.

When you get evil Within 3 Myers movement speed is increased to 120% your TR is 32 meters and pallet breaking speed, stun speed, vault speed and pickup speed is reduced by a lot for 60 seconds.

When you stalk survivors there stalk juice will regenerate overtime so if you stalk someone all the way overtime they will regain stalk juice so you can stalk as much as you can

That’s how I would rework Myers

    Stalk juice... oh my

  • Is myers really stealth? I would barely call him stealth outside of his mirror builds.

Btw if you liked re8 I'd suggest giving both RE4 and RE7 a try since they are the most similar to 8

Possibly, RE7 is the obvious choice. I still need to finish 8 though, after the doll battle and the fish guy I was drained out of adrenaline.

  • BHVR released its RE teaser quite early, just a couple weeks after All-Kill was fully released. It was obviously planned as extra advertisement for the new RE8 game and to bring even more players into the game. If BHVR released the teaser closer to the actual reveal then it would be cutting close to the release date of RE village.

RE8 was my first Resident Evil game and its all thanks to the cross promotion. Now obviously this is all speculation but I think Capcom is going to stick with this theme and keep advertising their newer characters.

Demo mains probably knew this already but I figured id post it if anyone is like me and was not aware of this. I was playing Demo on coldwind the other day. I was running Nurse's Calling. As I was traversing the upside down going from one end of the map to another. I noticed you will still see people healing if you pass by them. I actually found the last survivor healing in the middle of the fields while going from one portal to another. I already closed the hatch and I had portals at each gate. I'm guessing he was SC'ing then planning to open a gate.

Hehe demo is kind of like a shark underwater looking up at his prey and that makes me happy

Hello. The developers go through almost every killer, making changes to make it fit better into current game state. But what about the Ghost Face? Do you think he needs any changes?

My personal opinion on this: he's a fairly strong killer in hands of someone who knows how to actually use his power. But there is a problem with the way his power recovery works. Picture this: you marked a survivor, chased them for a little bit and downed them — you get a 30 seconds recovery (Fixed with addons). But if Survivor manages to reveal you during the chase, stun you with the pallet or you just swing into the air, by the time you downed that Survivor you'll have your power at least 50% and when you hook them it'll be fully recovered. So you pretty much want survivor to reveal you or get stunned to get your power back when you need it. In my opinion it's not how it should be. Solution is simple: whenever you hit marked survivor, you get 50% of your power back and when you hit survivor during the Night Shroud (not marked), you get 25% of your power back.

And the last question, would you like him to have his own terror radius and chase music?

Any opinions are welcome, but please express yourself constructively and be specific as much as you can

A real big problem with him is the maps, so many maps are unfavorable for slow stealth killers like Ghostface and Pig.

Tbh if maps were smaller and easier to patrol then I think all he would need is a simple Night Shroud timer decrease. I dont think maps will change anytime soon so that leaves him needing an entire playstyle change. His sneak and stalk playstyle is bad which leaves him as an m1 killer that maybe can get a cheeks first hit off.

RE8 is amazing (Please no spoilers) but you cannot say "Iconic killer from RE series" and then put them. Nemesis, Mr X, or literally anyone else would be much MUCH better. And the survivor better be an actual iconic one (Leon...) not saying Ethan would be a bad one, but if you ask me to tell you some iconic characters from the RE series I for one wouldn't say The Big Lady and her daughters and Ethan. I'm sure you know what must of us want BHVR don't mess this up please :) (Leon Claire/Jill or even Chris+Nemesis would be the sickest DLC ever)

I loved the daughters and Lady D, all of RE8 villians were amazing.

I would be happy with a RE8 killer and two OG survivors.

  • @piggygooik said:

Im not very noticeable on RE can someone tell me what powers these killers would have if they came into dbd. all I know is that nemesis has a rocket launcher and I doubt that would happen. also, I really want MR.x but what does he have all I know is that he is just a Big Strong Man

Lady D could have a mechanic where tasting the blood of each survivor powers her up in some way, much like Oni but not exactly the same. Instead of injured survivors leaving bloodorbs she'll have a secondary attack that has her bite into her victim and taste their blood, causing a meter to fill up.

When the meter fills up she could have some powered up state, I don't know what that state could be but it could be a multitude of things. You could add the daughters, causing flies to swarm survivors and slow them down.

Or maybe you could use her final form (obviously not all of it maybe just the wings)

Although personally I like the idea of the daughters becoming a killer instead.

There should be some feature to prevent face camping early in the game or at least something that prevents the killer from getting so much value out of it.

So maybe there could be a status effect like "endurance" kicking in for the hooked survivor after a certain amount of time of the killer being within the vicinity of the hook. Maybe even DS. Keep in mind I'm just talking face camping during the early stages since i feel like the game suffers a lot when that happens and if you don't happen to have altruism perks it can be a real pain/bore to play against. What are your thoughts?

Do killers really get value from camping? Sure they'll secure one kill after 3 gens have already been popped.

  • @IWasLeft2Die said:

I was very skeptical even before re8 came out that either of them would come to DBD but after playing the castle portion I'm much more confident it won't be any of them for a lot of reasons. Each isn't necessarily the strongest argument by themselves but collectively you do have plenty of reasons for why it won't be them

    1. Lady D's height. Yes this has been explained at length already but you have to acknowledge that she is just too tall typically. Sure they could change it maybe but we don't have any reason to believe they for sure would. Her being super tall is one of her more iconic features. It would be similar to giving Nemesis a regular human head but keeping everything else the same. It just fundamentally changes the character.

    2. Capcom would have had to lend out the content well before their game was released since BHVR has been working on this chapter for a while now. I just don't see them lending out content before their game releases for a number of reasons.

    3. Not iconic like older content.

    4. Seems very likely umbrella will be at least heavily involved given the charm which RE8 is way after Umbrella

    5. Lorewise wouldn't make sense for the daughters since they are Confined to fairly warm temperatures otherwise they would die. Yes this game isn't cannon but the devs have made it clear that they don't want to contradict fundamental parts of each character

    6. Lady D doesn't have any powers in her base form. Yes she has her claws but that's it. The only thing I could maybe see doing is having her be an m1 killer with an instadown but we already have plenty of those. Unless BHVR changed the characters power she would be very simplistic.

    7. Lady Ds second form just doesn't work straight up.

    8. The daughters power would essentially be Spirit if they had powers. They disappear and reappear mostly with bugs faulting around. People already don't like spirits power currently and I doubt BHVR would add basically the same character that already controversial.

Again, I can see a case for arguing against a few of these points but you are still left with a lot of other issues that just don't make them work in the game.

I just finished the doll portion so maybe the other bosses could work? I still have to play more to see but right now I don't see a killer coming from re8

I dont think it's fair to use the lack of a power against lady D, Mr.X would be such a bland killer if you used what he was given in the resident evil games.

  • @ProfoundEnding said:

How would they do her with indoor maps with low ceilings though? Clipping disaster.

Which indoor map has ceilings low enough to not fit a 9ft killer? Every ceiling is high enough, it's the doorways that are the issue

  • @Sup3rCatTree said:

I have seen sooooo many people say "She doesn't fit in the game because she is so tall". So? Nemesis and Mr.X are around the same height as her. At 9 feet tall. Nobody is talking about that. But people still want Nemisis and Mr. X even though they are so tall.

Lady D thematically fits DBD a lot more than Mr.X and Nemesis imo. I haven't played those games but I did do some research into who they are and as far as I know both seem rather uninteresting as a dbd killer. Who knows, maybe the dev team have come up with something interesting.

I do feel like Lady D on the other hand has the capabilites to be more of a unique killer

  • @piggygooik said:

what i mean is that she is very tall and would clip through every single door on indoor maps. it would be very janky, I mean I guess she would be resized but I think everyone ones 9ft tall vampire mommy come into dbd

also, would it be marketable since what happens if the RE 8 does bad, but they still bring out Lady D. everyone would be so disappointed( but I doubt anyone will since she is a goddess )

I don't think Lady D will come int to dbd since its such a risk for the devs

I mean if you see plague walking through doorways their is still some wiggle room to make a taller killer, and she's the tallest we have ATM.

It's completely possible, although I don't think she'll be exactly 9'6, they can still give the illusion that she is a tall bish without actually having to animate her bending down through every door. Although that would be cool.

Tbh her height is less than a problem compared to Nemesis and his rocket launcher and Mr.X and his.... I don't know know Mr.X would even have.

  • The Pig will win!!!! Oiiiinnnkkkk

He needs a rework, but not a super heavy one.

I'd find it more interesting if each tier on their own was viable in some way without having meme or gimmick builds. Then he could be like an MMO boss where he has "phases"

I agree with this. I rather see the tiers become less of a power up and more leaning towards phases.

  • @fr0sty1223 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/247849/why-is-myers-dead-and-will-he-get-any-future-changes

He needs a mini rework of sorts. They need to give survivors a way to stop his stalk so he can’t just get tier 3 mid chase with no counterplay but also buff him in other areas as well to make up for it.

    What?

  • "with your experience and correct timing"

... girl... its pressing E and zooming. No experience needed.

Also I haven't seen that bug yet, sometimes people dead hard completely wrong and the killer can m1 them at the end of the animation.

  • Why?

Stalking is already a weak ability, most maps stalking sucks, its 100% countered by Spine Chill, and even if it successfully exposes their is still a chance to outrun the timer.

Just for the record, Lady Dimitrescu is far too tall to be in the game. Plague is not anywhere near her height (dunno why people keep saying that). She's 290 cm tall. Plague is probably my height (about 2 meters).

Besides doorways I don't think their is much stopping from their being a tall killer in dbd. If anything the animations of her vaulting through windows and walking through doors would be really cool to see.

But tbh if they don't use Lady D, I wouldn't be surprised if the three daughters are instead used. The 5 in the anniversary logo does look like their hooks.

  • I love EVERY killer and they're all fun in their own special ways.

    All except Leatherface

  • @Anara said:

I will be disappointed if its Lady Dimitrescu, I want Mister X or Nemesis

They're cool but I don't know how well they fit dbd. Rocket launchers are just so off putting for a horror survival game.

  • Why not just make the undetected status effect also effect perks as well. That way you aren't nerfing any anti stealth perk directly but instead buffing a status effect. Tbh stealth killers are pretty weak so it'll be a nice buff

  • Voice comm survivors will always be stronger than killers. I rather have the player who is queuing as killer decide if they rather play against solo survivors or both solo and swf. It is the killers game as much as it is the swf game so I don't see a reason why the killers can't toggle group matches on or off.

  • In all seriousness,

I want a first person survivor gamemode, with 0 terror radius killers. 3 downs and fourth down is instant mori. No hooking, just downs but can get up by yourself.

I mean chances are someone that's played the game for 1000+ hours is better at it than someone who has 100, its not rocket science

I agree, getting to red rank should symbolize your nolifing of the game more

Someone can play the game a lot and still be just mediocre, like me.

  • @FrenziedRoach said:

4/5ths of the playerbase is not that good at the game. wouldn't expect them to balance around the red ranks anytime in the near future.... if ever.

But getting red rank isn't even hard, it's more how much you play then how good you are at playing. Getting red rank killer or close to is easy and so is survivor.

  • @SpicyBoy said:

I believe that if a killer lunges then they should lunge in a straight line just like the Demogorgon. Since when can a killer lunge and do a ballet recital at the same time? Also there is no way the Oni should be able to charge for so long and change corners so quickly.

Okay but only if we reduce survivor sensitivity by 50% and make 360s impossible for them:)

  • @Man_of_triangles said:

If Nemesis gets his rocket launcher it will be treated like Myers in Tier 3, Oni powered-up, Plague when she has corrupt purge. It wouldn't be the core power.

I still feel like a rocket launcher not only does not thematically fit dbd, it also does not give horror vibes.

Like compare it to the deathslingers gun which is a handmade device to reel in survivors for an easy hit, it gives horror vibes, the shock of being hit and reeled in is scary. A rocket launcher being shot at you from a distance isn't really scary, it's more action than horror.

  • David

But let's be real, the killers are more attractive. Heyyy trapper

  • I think every killer hates the corn

  • I personally don't like deathslinger because I like magical feeling killers so i would go with legion which is more magical feeling that the gunner. Although I would advise neither and instead buy haggy or piggy

  • Pig traps activate as soon as the survivor is healed from their dying state or unhooked.

Her ambush while in chase is silent without audio cue and outside chase is the same.

Myers gets a complete rework don't know how to fix him though. I would say either rework him into a complete stealth killer with jumpscare capability or into a snowballer like oni. Right now the mix of the two and having to tier up just hurts him early game and is too risky late game.

  • I dont think so. They have the license to use Amanda and the jigsaw traps but to buy the license to create a skin that resembles John Kramer might not be possible.

  • It's David for me...

    He's do strong

    And handsome as hell

He's so bad but he does it so well

And when we had our very last gen

    My last request i-is

    Will you remember me

    Looping the killer

    Healing our teamates

  • Myers, I wouldn't know how to fix him but he needs something reworked. His tier building is just not optimal, his tier 3 is strong but it takes too long to get to it

  • @piggygooik said:

Im not sure how it would look like since a whole block of houses, cars and maybe a few playgrounds make sense for a map from Halloween but we all know how broken it is.

How would they rework to still be faithful to Halloween but still made it balanced. TBH I think it would be kinda boring to see just a slightly better-looking but balance map. The map is still going to be boring to play on even if the broken parts got fixed.

I want a map that looks cool and is fun to play on.

plz tell me how would like the map to look like if they reworked it to where its balanced but still fun to play on.

Make most of the houses one story, and only two of so on each side of the street two story.

Increase it in width but not in length.

    Decrease window vaults

  • I dont think I've ever seen a plague anywhere besides red forest and temple

  • Buff one perk to broken status to justify the use of a weak perk

  • I love third seal, too bad I'm bad at killer and can't get enough hits in quick enough. Big sad

  • I actually made a Witch idea, it's in the works but I have a base idea what I wanted. We need a L4D2 infected as killer, they're so fun.

    The Witch

    Base Movement Speed: 110%

    Terror Radius: 24 meters

    Height: Short

    Power: HAUNTING CRIES

Passively HAUNTING CRIES will activate. Any survivor in the Witch's crying radius(terror radius) will accumulate PARANOIA.

HAUNTING CRIES will also passively mark survivors with killers instinct when the survivor is looking directly at the Witch.

Pressing the active ability button will also actively use HAUNTING CRIES, the Witch can temporarily increase her terror radius to 42 meters, increasing the passive crying radius but temporarily is slowed to 100% movement speed for 5 seconds.

Paranoia DOES NOT accumulate when in chase with survivors.

Paranoia I: Paranoia I occurs as soon as survivors hear the Witch's crying. The survivors field of view will start to go dark as survivors will only be able to see from 32 meters away, everything beyond 32 meters on the map is black mist and causes a blindness effect for anything outside of the 32 meters.

Paranoia II: Paranoia II occurs when they have been in the Witch's crying radius for a certain period of time (10 seconds)

Paranoia II will lessen the survivors vision to 14 meters, granting them the same blindess effect and grant the Witch her Secondary ability, Growling Rage.

    Secondary Ability: Growling Rage

Paranoid II survivors inside the Witch's terror radius will activate this ability.

Holding secondary Ability button will have the Witch let out a blood curdling scream and let out her claws.

She will move at 130% movement speed and be able to one shot any Paranoia II survivors by tackling them and clawing at them for 3 seconds.

Nearby survivors can push the Witch off causing just deep wounds for the survivor and putting the Witch into a 2 second stun.

Paranoia slowly decays once outside of the crying radius, Paranoia II decays much faster, being outside of the crying radius for 5 seconds will decay Paranoia II, Paranoia I will decay over thirty seconds.

    Perks:

    Turn Off The Lights:

Who turned on the lights? You know I hate the light!

Everytime the killer is blinded they receive a token up to 3 tokens.

Everytime you successfully hit a basic attack on a survivor, consume a token and blind that survivor for 2/3/4 seconds.

Once all three tokens are used this perk deactivates.

    On My Lonesome:

I like being left on my lonesome, but get in my way and you will feel my rage.

For each new survivor that enters your radius for the first time during the trial, earn a token, up to 4 tokens.

After you reach 4 tokens the perk will activate.

Once activated your terror radius disappears for 50/80/120 seconds.

This perk deactivates once the cooldown ends.

    Unrelenting Rage:

You will stop at nothing to eliminate the person that got in your way.

You become obsessed with a survivor.

Anytime your obsession stuns you, gain 20% haste to breaking pallets, vaulting windows, and regressing generators for 20/25/30 seconds.

This perk had a 40/35/30 second cooldown.

  • I play survivor when I'm feeling vulnerable and killer when im feeling like a bad b*tch

  • @MadLordJack said:

Just do what I do and play Spirit to soak up all the salty comments about how you cheesed it and how she's super easy even though you find her the hardest of the top three killers because your mind isn't build for that kind of playstyle.

Okay, that advice maybe only works if you're me. But also, if you're not having fun, just do whatever so long as it's not actual BM.

I suck at spirit lmao. I love when people say she is easy but really she isn't. You need superhuman hearing and decision making to actually use her phasing correctly.

  • I would love more left 4 dead cross promotion in DBD, although the only criticism I have is the power the Tank would have. It seems really reliant on what ifs... first survivors need to drop pallets in order for him to go into his next stage.

Then he needs to hit more ranged attacks to unlock another stage. This is all assuming they all hit and the survivors drop these pallets.

I feel like it might be to counterable, much like how people don't use the pools when facing plague. Survivors might just not use pallets and then you're just an m1 killer. Also you will have to loop someone at minimum three times and hit all three pallets.

I love the skin ideas though, cute

  • It's a decently balanced perk in my opinion.

Although I understand the hate, it's used mostly to extend loops which can already be frustrating and waste time. It's a second chance perk which are always annoying.

It depends how it's used though, people using it just to dodge a m1 attack without any other plan makes it a super weak perk but using it to extend loops makes it a pretty strong exhaustion perk. Overall its whatever, just remember who how has DH and try to bait it ig.

  • @eloise said:

This perk it's for killer and surviver, when you touch a gen the progression of this gen is loosing in one time and transfer on other gen, it's just swipe the progression on other gen, that can be funny.

Imagine, you are almost done on the gen the killer come and you can transfer immediately the progress on other gen but you don't know where, in killer you touch the gen when is almost done so the surviver he's surprise.

Maybe not the entire progress but I guess you can take like 15% of another gens progress and give 15% to another gen. Obviously will large cooldowns. Although I feel like it would be very tedious for the killer and not healthy

1 2 3 4 5
