Lemme reword it, then. I'd rather have each individual figure out what someone else has on their own. Otherwise it sounds like they are using a crutch when other people tell them.
Hiding perks once someone dies is totally a fair thing and spectating should come with a timed delay similar to what League has but not such a long timer. But say 10 second time delay when spectating so you can't just say turn left at that big rock in front of you.
Sounds great to me!
Now that you mention it, I hope spectating gets extended beyond who ever is left in the trial. I'd like to sit back, and watch some matches live. That aren't youtubers, or twitch streamers. The delay would be fine with me in that case, too.

Yeah, no. If you use chat outside the game, you're basically cheating, and people don't like being cheated.
We don't know if you are until we're in the game, but most SWFs do use outside help.So why on earth should we have to roll the dice on if we're going to get cheated out of a fair game when odds are you are going to cheat us?
What's in it for us? Why should we have to put up with a difficulty spike? It's getting to the point where I have to roll the dice on if a SWF is going to be filled with #########, sweaty tryhards, and/or people using outside chat.
And don't get me started on mixed rank SWFs where you aren't even the same color in rank, and letting the higher rank prey on lower rank killers.
I'm not saying you and your homies pull the bullshit I mentioned, but too many others do to instantly have the trust of the killers that dodge you.
We care about your wait times about as much as SWF cares about the fun of a killer, and that's slim to none.
We can agree to disagree. How is chatting with your team cheating? Lol most everything in this game is discernable with or without outside chat. As someone who plays both killer and survivor, i don't have much of a differenc playing against randoms than I do playing against SWF.
And yeah sweaty tea bagging try hards are annoying to fight but oh so much more satisfying when you down and kill them. Plus, whats the point in pub stomping randoms? Id much rather get better at the game and play against talented, coordinated players. Makes the game much more fun than just, say walking all over easy noobs.
Becsuse when you tell your pals where the killer is, what they're doing, where their totems are, tell your homies what loadout the killer has in the event you die, you gain several free perks, and info you shouldn't even have.
It's cheating, bluntly.I like having a fair shake in my games. Even odds.
Enjoy the challenge all you want. I'm a bit too casual, and under equipped to want to go tryhard.
Frankly if your are breaking the game to beat me, you have no room to talk about my skill.
It's not like it is hard to figure out what perks the killer/survs are running just learn the perks and watch to see what they use.
Well, if it's all the same to you, I'd like it to stay secret to each individual until they are dead, or escaped.
Lol you want it to stay a secret, yet like I said it isn't hard at all to stay alive and find out what perks someone is using within an absolute certainty you just need to know what the effects of a perk is, if you are saying you lack this ability then you need to get it fast or ppl will just run over you.
Lemme reword it, then. I'd rather have each individual figure out what someone else has on their own. Otherwise it sounds like they are using a crutch when other people tell them.

Nerfing him. Clown is chasing food. Haha
And his belly is why the gals have jiggle physics, iirc. -
Find a way to add crosshairs, even if it's putting a clear sticker on your screen.
Invest in whispers. Stridor might be ok, but she makes noise so it might get in the way.
Edit: oh, there are times where a survivor is doing an action that makes them a sitting duck. Dropping a pallet, vaulting. They can't really dodge, so nail them with a hatchet.

My 2 mains are Nea and Min with a side of Kate, and Meg. I can't remember what I run on Meg, or Kate entirely. I don't play a lot.
Nea= urban evasion, lithe, balanced landing, and self care.
Min= lithe, spine chill, light weight, dance with me
My escape rate is maybe 40/60 or so.
My playstyle is basically ninja around the map, do gens. If I get spotted, I do my best to vanish. I'm not great at long chases.
To be fair, 75 percent of the time when I die I'm the last person alive because everyone else swarms the hook, or is having even worse luck running from the killer.
I'm doing a gen across the map from the killer, minding my own business, trying not to get hypnotized by those hands at work, and someone gets chased. They get hooked.
Then someone gets hit, and downed. Then the 3rd person. Then it kinda goes down hill from there.

Doesn't surprise me what her hatchets can go over. What surprises me is how well you often have to thread the needle.Maximus7 said:

She really is my favorite killer. First killer I went with, and part of the reason I started playing.
Efficient, not super addon reliant, and as of 2now my only killer with 3 of the 4 bloodpoint perks. I don't have the 4th (bbq. Not saddling myself with a killer I'm not interested in.) So with all that in mind, she is very helpful. Her looks, and lore are also pretty great, too.
Her hatchets really do need help, though. They are pretty obviously there to help stop loops, but they are almost impossible to throw over obstacles you can see over.
Also they seem pretty easy to dodge now that I paid enough attention.I loved her backstory as well and her look is imposing as she is the only tall female killer. I didn’t start playing her until a few weeks ago, before that it was solely Myers and Spirit.
Her hatchets are super wonky, the hitboxes are weird and hopefully when the game gets dedicated servers it’ll solve some of the issues.
She also probably has one of the most OP builds if paired with an Ebony. Iridescent Head and an Infantry Belt is nasty.
Her hatchets are the way they are because of how survivor hurtboxes are designed. Patch 2.2 made her hatchet hitboxes more proportional to the size of the hatchet, but did nothing to the survivor hurtboxes, so hatchets would just phase through survivors' faces, limbs, and shoulders. So it's more about hitbox manipulation than anything, though latency does have a role to play in some of the "wonky" hits.
@Rebel_Raven you'd be surprised how much ######### you can throw over if you have good enough aim. Though it can be really tough and require pin-point accuracy to still hit survivors while throwing over stuff.
Doesn't help that her shout when she throws is basically "move to the side, and you're good" when it comes to dodging them. -
Oh, no, Friday is different.LegitAdventurer said:
Friday is basically the same exact game as DBD. Sure there is the "walkie talkie" item in game, but other than that, it is almost the exact same game. And when that game first came out, if you were in a party the game would automatically change your party settings to "In Game" and not let you change them to "party chat", but they quickly reverted that because team communication just makes games more fun. So it is possible to prevent the use of Party Chat if they wanted too.Possible for what? Friday doesn't factor in.Dead by daylight has no mid trial chat at all.
It is supposed to be antisocial, even between survivors:
Jason has the combined powers of several DBD killers (some far superior like his teleport, morph, knife throw), and then some powers on top of that.
I can't believe you'd put Jason who has the powers of the trapper, huntress, spirit, tier 3 myers (ability to just outright kill someone without having tohook them) and nurse to say the least in the same pool as DBD killers.
Jason is WAY better equipped to handle councilors who can communicate because he can pressure the map better, and waste way less time doing what he does. Especially kill people.
Even the Nurse isn't fast enough to pressure as hard as Jason who doesn't have a stun when he morphs, or teleports. He can straight grab and murder someone.
Could you imagine if Jason had to walk, or even jog to get anywhere? Lol
Or drag his prey to specific points several times to murder them?
Could you imagine if every DBD killer could instantly, or near instantly go from point a to b with almost no restrictions?
Huntress suddenly appears behind a survivor, hammers them down, quickly throws a hatchet at one survivor with no audio cue and crosshairs, grabs another and kills them immediately with no need to hook them? With a sped up mori since Jason has quick kills?
So, no that analogy doesn't work. At all.

And neither is using outside chat. If it was something the devs didnt want to happen they would cancel it, just like they did in the earlier days of Friday The 13th, which they also have taken that concept away because playing team games without communicating with your team just isnt as fun.
Mixed rank SWFs vs a killer matched with the lowest, or next lowest rank are common.
Rarely we get 4 red ranks vs a rank 18 killer.
Spare the killer's feelings? Coming from the guy upset that killers dodge them? Why should killers spare your feelings? That's some irony for you .
Hey, you do you. You like the challenge? Go for it. Doesn't mean much of anything to me.
And it's not like you're a low rank killer getting stomped on by newbies.
It's pretty different when red ranks dodge red ranks and people who aren't red dodge because they might face survivors who are a different color rank.
How, exactly would DBD devs stop 3rd party voice chat? Or even prove it's being used?
P.s. chat is basically cheating since it isn't in the game at all during a trial, and the game isn't really balanced for it.
And sparing feelings in game is entirely different than just assuming the survivors are going to be scummy before even starting a game lol.

Hence the lack of in game communication, and the amount of perks that survivors have to share information.
Hence the lack of balance between a chatting SWF and the average killer.
Trust is earned. Not given away. If you want to be trusted, SWF needs to he trustworthy.
Until then, safe bet SWF us going to be scummy. And it generally is.

Unfortunately because I am kinda potato, i think lithe does need a boost.
If your are in your speed boost from being hit, there is a 1, or 2 second window between being hit, and vaulting where lithe will not activate.
Or it needs to stack with/extend upon that speed boost on being hit.
Sometimes when I try to lithe, i get hit in the window, and feel like I'm wasting one of the boosts.
-
I don't believe the game has any sort of measurement for how good someone is as something.
I will say it is a thing though, i feel like.
Some people are great gen jockeys.
Some are great at rescues.
Some are great at running around like a meth head and distracting the killer.

Because survivors want it to be a thing so they can win.

But let me explain it for you killers of lesser intellect
Go and keep smacking the survivors till they leave. You get bloodpoints. If they still refuse to leave, they'll eventually go down and you can hook them. It's seriously that easy.
Some just don't want to give survivors the satisfaction anymore.
The points are too low to put up with it.
Frankly some of us are sick of the fact the killer is basically powerless at that point. Outside of a few special builds, or a few killers you can't stop them from escaping. If they have any brains you can't stop them at all.
The survivors know they're safe, and rub it in the killer's face.

More cosmetics. Scantily clad survivors and killers for all!
More emotes! Scantily clad killers and survivors doing the Party boy routine!
More balance! May solos, swf, and killers all meet in balance, finally.
Bbq to be on the shrine.
Legion being brought to spirit levels. Hell, all killers being made more viable.
Honestly the fun needs to be cranked up, and be more likely to survivors and killers when they walk into a trial.
Chases, hooks, escapes, sacrifices! Long, eventful matches!
P.s. a button the killer can press that will shoot a big red rocket up the asses of survivors that won't leave when there's no more danger. I.e. camping the gates.
And I guess it could rocket them out of the match, too. -
It is kinda weird survivors get to track you several seconds when survivors just get a circle at where they were.
Honestly, I'd love to see Rancor work on the last survivor alive as well as normally. Like adding the cypress Mori to it.
If the gens aren't done, the mori part is worthless. -
Feels like Huntress was supposed to use her hatchets to help end loops earlier, but good lick throwing over what's being looped reliably .Dehitay said:Unfortunately, with most killers, there's nothing much you can do against 4 survivors that can loop with high efficiency. The most you can do is use killers who can counter this, but that removes half the killers from your list. Hag and Trapper can stop one loop, but then they'll just run off to the next one. Doctor and Clown can screw up their loop timing, but they'll usually also be smart enough to just drop pallet or move on early against these killers to avoid getting hit. Huntress gets looped for longer, but once you're good with her, she's more likely to get a hit at the end of the loop. Spirit can turn loops into a battle of wits, but there's a chance your attempts to mind game the survivor will end up with them mindgaming you. Nurse and Legion are the only killers that can truly counter the chain pallet/vault looping gameplay of highly skilled survivors.

If someone has more experience, perks _and_ skill than you, that by definition makes them a better player. You should not win in that case. If someone checks all those boxes and you still win consistently, there's something seriously wrong there. Take the loss, derank, they'll rank up and you won't be matched together anymore. There's no shame in losing. Sometimes I end up against a really good group of survivors and I get destroyed too, but dodging them isn't going to make me any better.Rebel_Raven said:

I've been running into mixed rank SWFs since the Halloween event, obvious smurfs, and people obviously using voice comms to pass along informationthey shouldn't have, too.Peanits said:I don't see the point. It would massively drive up queue times for everyone for no reason. Most SWF groups are no better than solo players, and the rare ones that are tend to be good players to begin with. You'll find that most of the matches you win had SWF groups in it. Having voice chat does not make you faster or better in a chase, good players are good players.
Losing to a good team is not anything to be ashamed of, and I don't see why ruining matchmaking for everyone would be a good solution for the very few extremely coordinated groups out there.
Facing people who have no business being in the same trial as me has gotten worse over the winter event.
Save the "most swf groups are no better than solos" for when the game is balanced around SWF.
Flatly dismissing these issues people have isn't going to win people over.
Most SWF groups are easily defeatable and too often I see people blame their losses on SWF as a scape goat rather than seeing it as an opportunity to improve. They are incredibly predictable and it can be used against them.
And that's not to discount the few groups out there who are committed to trying as hard as possible like they're in the finals of a tournament, they do exist. They're just very rare. Half the time I see someone post a video of that, the killer misses countless swings, loses the survivors, loses mindgaming, runs tiles the wrong way, etc. That's not the fault of SWF, they faced a better player and lost. But rather than accept that they had a bad game and trying to do better next time, they point at that one guy that ran them the entire game and say "SWF."
Making a massive change that hurts everybody for the few groups out there that are actually a problem is silly.
Not the people struggling to get half way there, going through this crap.
See, it reads like you're okay with people with massive rank differences SWFing to pick on people they shouldn't have been in trial with.
You may as well be ok with killers depipping to bully low rank survivors, too.
They don't have to be super sweaty, they're combining their knowledge to screw over a killer when they should not have that knowledge to begin with. They're getting advantages this game isn't balanced around.
If you don't want to see massive changes that would screw over everyone, or close to it, fine, say that.
But dismissing people's issues with SWFs almost entirely? When they're facing mixed ranks? When they're using voice chat to let others know the killer is headed their way, or not?
This isn't a case of meeting better players, it's more akin to people picking on lower ranks, and abusing thebmatch making system to powerlevel their buddies in easier games.
Which might work if the SWF was remotely interested in not being absolutely ruthless.
This isn't fun for killers, and they see the staff more than happy to see them suffer? Really?
If scenarios like this weren't pretty constant in and of themselves, you might have something, but these are common.
Oh, and survivors will depip to go back to where they were if need be to destroy lower rank killers. Lets not kid ourselves.
Saw a thread by a guy that ran into depipping survivors.
This isn't about being better, it's abusing the system, and getting easier games, and survivors are keen on doing it.
Killers are, too, but neither is particularly good when it comes to people trying to climb to having anything half decent to compete.
Again, you're basically saying that you're ok with killers depipping to maul low ranks in giving survivors the pass.
People who intentionally derank are punished, and both sides do that so I'm not sure why you bring that up. It's not exclusive to either side. Derank because you lost is how the system is supposed to work. That'll pair you with people on your skill level and make the matches more fun for all of you.
Geezus.
How are people who intentionally depip punished? I mean DC isn't the only way to do it.
More over like I said, SWF can have mixed ranks. No depip needed. A purple, or green rank can beat up tan ranks.
Hell, one our very own forumites had an unintentional but very real encounter where red ranks trolled a lvl 18 into oblivion and only felt bad because of the rank gap.
I don't have a problem with my rank, i have a problem with the ranks of the people I go against.
Swf ignores differences in ranks, and pits me very often against people who shouldn't be facing me.
I have a problem with how much advantage survivors can get to overwhelm a killer via third party, and teaming up in ways this game isn't balanced for.
Git gud isn't an acceptable answer. -
It absolutely is abusing outside help becsuse voice comms are not built into the game. Texting, voice, if it isn't in the game, it's third party help.powerbats said:@Rebel_Raven said:
People using outside help to win, people abusing match making to go against lower rank killers.
Killers with poor arsenalsnof addons, perks, and offerings havong to deal with that?
Do you even read anymore? So if people use Consoles built in voice communications that's not abusing outside help to win then right?
Ok who's fault is that then, the same is true for survivors with poor arsenals facing deranked killers abusing noobs yet you're not complaining about that.
I do but the question is do you or can you only make up excuses and use deflections?
I did not say you were trying to win anyone over, you're just thorougly not grasping the situation.
But you did, you stated I was trying to win this one in your own words and I fully grasp the situation. The difference is I'm not making up excuses and using deflections everytime my argument gets countered.
Yeah, I'm not budging on this because it's an issue. Your skill doesn't factor in. It's irrelevant If you doge or not. Completely.
You mean you're not budging on making excuses and using deflections, well glad that's finally out in the open now. If you think skill has no factor in a games outcome then there's no point in even discussing things with you.
All your arguments against me boil down to "nothing's wrong, imma brag, git gud." It's tiring going through the same routine over and over again.
No all my arguments against you boil down to stop making up excuses for everytime you lose and blaming anything and everything on anyone but you when you screw up. You're right that it's tiring going through the same old tired and worthless excuses you and the others use trying to deflect onto others or the game.
When someone gives you tips you resort to insults or deflections and then when they show you proof of it being done you resort to more of the same. If that doesn't work their opinion doesn't matter only yours and yours should voer ride theirs.
You haven't suggested anything lately, and you have to have it dragged out of you to suggest anything in threads like this.

That was so bad it required 2 lols because it was so bad.
Your desire for a challenge is irrelevant. Completely.
Especially when it takes more to challenge you than it does others.
That was so bad it gets the WAH treatment.
I'm not going to fight on multiple fronts, and it's not as easy to catch depipped killers.
They don't often have telltale signs like different color ranks all at once.
If you have a problem with it, say something.
You haven't countered anything. If you countered anything I wouldn't be making these posts.
Your arguments are useless.
It boils down to "stop whining, i brag about myself, git gud."
Might have misread that you thought I thought win people over, not win this debate which is a hilarious notion because you've failed to make a decent point. If you had, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Oh, it's tiring for you, too? How about you stop replying to me, then?
SWF is a plague, and the devs are too scared to do anything about it.
Until there's balance, and/or compensation, you won't hear the last of me.
Don't talk about offering tips when you only do it under duress in the particular thread, and not a second sooner. Other threads do not really mean much since people don't stalk you to read your posts. Oh, and Inasked you about apllying pressure on survivors and you never got back to me. Other than that your tips aren't that great.
And when the hell have I insulted you?
Hey, I'm not the one disregarding your opinion, here. I fully acknowledge that your experience is different because you're far better equipped than the people SWFs love to stomp.
But you? You're the one acting like everything is perfectly fine based solely on your own experience. Gut gud, stop complaining, take being matched with people you should have never seen in the first place, and be quiet.
HEY, link the last thread you made suggesting something to improve the game? Or the last real tip you gave in a comment?
You should have an archive of your own content.
All i ever really see you do is attacking people who complain about facing SWFs these days.

Which would possibly work if they weren't ranks above in a mixed SWF where rank does not matter, apparently. Again, I've been seeing people actual colors above me in rank.Peanits said:
If someone has more experience, perks _and_ skill than you, that by definition makes them a better player. You should not win in that case. If someone checks all those boxes and you still win consistently, there's something seriously wrong there. Take the loss, derank, they'll rank up and you won't be matched together anymore. There's no shame in losing. Sometimes I end up against a really good group of survivors and I get destroyed too, but dodging them isn't going to make me any better.Rebel_Raven said:

Also I'm not trying to win anything here, just get you to see past your own personal bias and preconceived notions. The only one focused on winning here seems to be you and it's not a zero sum game discussion either.
I also didn't says nothing's wrong and just to git gud, I've said on many occasions killers need buffs and suggested some pretty drastic nerfs. But unlike you i'm willing to accept when I get outplayed or make mistakes.
I'm also willing to challenge myself to improve and learn from my mistakes and not have things handed to me just because the going gets tough. I'd love a BP bonus so I can have some help getting perks/addons/offerings to actually help go against SWF, or at least make it worth my while to put up with them.
I doubt we will get filters, or even SWF labels, or even the BP bonus because the devs are scared shitless about survivor backlash, though.
I'm getting tired of dealing with SWFs made of mixed ranks, smurfs, voice comm users, etc.
They just are not fun to vs.

Im not here to argue semantics on whether swf was intended to begin with or not. Balance is the ultimate goal for the devs across the board. My statement is that swf creates the most balance for a 4v1 game where whether you like it or not you can’t as a survivor complete the actual objective of the game opening doors to escape. Swf goal throughout the game is to open doors. If you are with randoms like yourself it ends up being down to two gens and turning into a “hide for hatch match “ where the ultimate goal for the team is to escape.Rebel_Raven said:

It’s boring and it’s not good for the overall qol for solo surviving. Making knowing going into a solo game that you not only have the killer against you but your team as well. Bc solo matches mostly result in 3-4K which is why killers love randoms and not swf. Bc swf is 50/50 and solo is 30/70 being the 70% working against you. Does that sound like balance? If you were intended to be a team of survivors, SWF would have been in the game from the start. It wasn't.
If the survivors were intended to be a team, why, exactly do we not have in game voice chat?
Personally I enjoy solo survivor, and only play solo survivor. Our opinion on how enjoyable or boring it is means diddly to if survivors were meant to be teams or not.
I play killer. I don't love randoms because I make them score less, I like them because this game is not balanced, or even really made for SWF. Especially when they get sweaty, and tryhard. Even more so whhen they use comms to abuse sharing information.
I like, as a killer, having a decent chance at several chases, several hookings, a few sacrifices and mayve a 4k here and there. And blood points.
SWF loves to deny me that.
Speaking of sharing information, if SWF was intended from the start, why are there so many perks that SWF would generally find useless if they use 3rd party voice chat, and geared to sharing information between people who would be running solo?
That, and the hatch being so divisive among survivors is some really strong evidence that the game was originally intended to be 4 randoms vs a killer.
I'm not saying that can't change, but I'm saying that's probably why the hatch is the way it is.
I'm not saying the hatch is perfect by any means. I'd rather it be there than not, though.
SWF often breaks the game, or at the least gives a sizable advantage. I don't believe the game is balanced around it. You really cannot change my mind on it.
It should be balanced around SWFs, though since SWF is going to become the norm.
Problem is just how to pull that off?
Especially on the killer side?
Giving solo survivors the information SWFs have is pretty easy.
I have a pretty decent track record as a solo only survivor. It's entirely playable. Like I said, i enjoy it.
Frankly I see SWF as something of a crutch because it's a cohesive team working together, and you become more reliant on that help to the point that solo is a whole other ball park.
That and the game is not balanced around SWF. Especially the sweaty tryhards, and/or voice comm users.
It sucks you run into so many terrible surviors as a solo, but I have a decent track record of escaping solo. Mostly through the gate, too.
I've also seen my fair share of terrible survivors.
Here's the thing. Sometimes when you run solo you run into 2 and 3 man swfs. Those terrible teammates of yours when you solo aren't always solo. They could also be SWFs.
It's always my goal, as a solo, to do gens. I don't fight for the hatch. If I can get out through the gate, I'm not going for the hatch unless I'm somehow the last person and the hatch is closer.
If i gotta try for a hatch play because there's several gens left, and the rest are dying, or dead, then I'm obviously going to try for the hatch.
In short, i likely don't really play the way you might think i do.

Nea can have green hair.
Susie can have green hair.
Therefore Nea is killer.
But seriously, it's just a long running joke because some people don't like her looks, and it's a long running joke.
Her toxic reputation might be from people who use her super visible clothing to be a distraction.
Alao No0b3 plays "toxic" with Nea a lot. I don't really see him as being that toxic, though. -
Not great advice, IMO.Gonzalo said:There have been increased reports of survivors rescuing each other right after you hook them
If they attempt to do that please use your weapon to show them who is the boss around here.
It's best to wait for the rescue animation so you can grab them from the rescue, and drop them, effectively slugging them.
You probably could hang on to them and hit with your weapon so they can't help them up, but that is a gamble. -

Well, while she was alive she was a nurse in an insane asylum, and actually tried to be good one. She cared for people.
Then one day, she snapped.
Nurses Calling helps her find the injured people. It would be as helpful to someone looking to save people as much as hurt them.
Her Mori ends with her gently closing the eyes of the people she kills. In a strange way it seems like she is trying to rescue survivors by killing them and trying to free them from the entity.
Meanwhile the Entity keeps her basically hung by the neck her entire existence. Her neck is obviously broken, or badly damaged, and she can't breathe well, so there is some leverage make her keep sacrificing.

Believe it or not, this game wasn't really designed for the survivors to be a team.HeroLives said:
Yeah but the hatch allows throws to the game where survivors now have the option to no longer work together. Basically saying it’s 4v1 unless your team mates turn on you making it not 4v1Rebel_Raven said:The hatch offers more points.
It's why SWF wasn't in it from the start (and why they can have such a massive advantage over the killer), and why there is still no voice chat.
The intent was to have 4 random strangers thrown together to try and survive the killer.
It's an antisocial survivor experience.
The hatch is basically a reminder of that. -
Most of them are doing it to be dicks.
Here, killer, do a trick for us! Chase us out.
Cmon, let us rub it in your face how safe we are!
Play along while we escape and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it! -
The hatch offers more points.

I must not have worded my question well.Master said:@Rebel_Raven said:
Unless they DC too much, how are you going to stop them?Maybe a increasing time penalty, the more you DC?
Thats how almost every other game handles DCing in ranked games
Say you penalize DCing to depip, and they find another way that doesn't involve DCing, how will you stop them?
Aside from them using DC to depip, how will you stop them?
Odds are good they will find a way to depip that doesn't involve DCing.
Added penalties to DCing will just lead to a different ways to depip. -
What if all 4 people put it into their loadout before they go onto the lobby?HeroLives said:
Simply it Becomes unavaible upon the first person picking it. Like in the new cod 4 where first come first served to the character theY want to play in blackout. It greys out immediately once the first person added itRebel_Raven said:
So only one can use it, but all 4 survivors have it in their loadout, and want it bad enough to argue over who gets it. What then?Vert3x said:@BrendanLeeT said:
I'm all for downing the rarity but it was nerfed for a reason because it was stupid that a SWF group could just instantly repair up to 4 generators, if of course they hit the skill checks. It really isn't worth the points and it's definitely not worthy of being ultra rare.Buffing is definitely a bad idea but decreasing the rarity is justifiable.
One thing that I never understood, about the old brand new part and about instablinds (as well as instaheals which are still a thing) is why they didn't want to simply make sure that only one per type could be brought in a game.
It wouldn't be that hard, the good old instablinds were quite fun to use, but sure a killer had a ######### time when dealing with 2 or more of them at a time. And same for the old instagen brand new parts.
Does CoD 4 have a mechanism to keep people from backing out of a match if they can't get the character they want? -
