So only one can use it, but all 4 survivors have it in their loadout, and want it bad enough to argue over who gets it. What then?Vert3x said:@BrendanLeeT said:
I'm all for downing the rarity but it was nerfed for a reason because it was stupid that a SWF group could just instantly repair up to 4 generators, if of course they hit the skill checks. It really isn't worth the points and it's definitely not worthy of being ultra rare.Buffing is definitely a bad idea but decreasing the rarity is justifiable.
One thing that I never understood, about the old brand new part and about instablinds (as well as instaheals which are still a thing) is why they didn't want to simply make sure that only one per type could be brought in a game.
It wouldn't be that hard, the good old instablinds were quite fun to use, but sure a killer had a ######### time when dealing with 2 or more of them at a time. And same for the old instagen brand new parts. -
The point is how well a killer can run with just their base perks, and base kit.LegitAdventurer said:LOL so many tryhards "legion is horrible because he doesn't work with just his base perks"
Please, name one killer where you only use their base perks, I'll wait. Considering every single killer runs Hex Ruin, NONE OF THEM. Lolol. People are so silly. Legion is a great killer, people just want something to ######### and moan about lol.
Teachable perks are teachable perks for a reason, to teach them to other characters and use these perks in proper builds. I play Nea and don't use a single one of her perks, does that make her #########? Lol i run all hag perks on my Spirit, does that make her #########? Lol no. Get a grip.
Some obviously do it better than others. Legion is pretty low on that list.
Because, believe it or not, people don't start a new killer with all lvl 3 perks.
With that in mind, you beyter hope RNGeesus is kind to you early on. -
In other words you want free unhooks.
Killer has to, against all reason, not secure a kill no matter what just so you can go free.

The killer would have to hit them far enough away that the survivor can't flop and use the hatch anyhow.TAG said:

That's assuming the survivor doesn't juke, or dead hard. Nothing really changes on the killer end.
Survivor can still get close, and wait to get hit so they can clip through the killer, and use the hatch.
There usually is no grand chase involved. Killer goes right for the hatch, and waits. They often don't gamble on finding the survivor first because they know the survivor doesn't want to do gens at that point, so they go where they know the survivor wants to go.

They feed the narrative. It's why we have so many SWF complaints. Defens SWFs all you want, it doesn't change the experiences of others who are in the crosshairs of these people.
Yes there are dicks on the killers side. Never said there wasn't. Doesn't change the fact that SWFs are usually filled with dicks.
I don't give a ######### what people use for excuses for being beaten. SWFs are commonly breaking the game to get an advantage the game isn't balanced for, and there is no realistic incentive to put up with that when going for more solos is an alternative, though one diminishing more and more because of how easy SWF is to do on ps4, and how easy it is to abuse SWF.
If you can't accept that, then I don't know what to say.
Not sure why you persist with "nothing is wrong, git gud" arguments that are about as useful as insidious on Freddy, or Huntress. It's not going to change my mind. -

If the Survivor becomes exposed while the Hatch is open, just playing Chicken no longer is effective because the Killer making the first move now has a higher chance of succeeding. The Survivor now needs to either chance making it right up to the Hatch and going for it or run off and lure the Killer away with a generator; just playing the waiting game doesn't work for either side becuase now both sides are incentivized to act first if they don't want to lose the Hatch instead of second like it currently is.Rebel_Raven said:
You would think so, but why when it's easier to just get hit, and get the hatch while the killer is wiping their blade? It doesn't matter how long it takes, it's just easier.TAG said:

I think the one time I actively chased a survivor to the hatch, I just grabbed her.
Usually one finds it well before the other.
The survivor won't try for it to get grabbed.
The killer won't hit to give the window of opportunity for the survivor to jump in.
The exposed status won't really fox anything with both people being right there next to the hatch.
The lack of grab makes it so if the Survivor gets close enough, they basically get the hatch even if they are downed.
Both Survivor and Killer are incentivized to act first because acting second realistically means the other succeeds. Hence dealing with stand-off.
The hatch stand off is when survivor cannot jump in to the hatch because the killer is standing on it, and just that. The survivor doesn't clip through.
Basically the killer is blocking the hatch access. The only way a survivor can make it through is if the killer moves, or attacks. If they do neither the survivor is SOL.
That is a hatch standoff.
If usually happens withing 2 or 3 meters from the hatch.
More than enough slack for a downed survivor to get the hatch.
I mean the option to leave and do gens for what ever reason exists now, but in my experience people rarely take it.
I've watched a lot of hatch standoffs on youtube, and in reality haven't given that much a damn if they get it or not.
I do not see any real higher chance of success.

May not always be correct, but most times for me it is. I don't expect to be forming ties with people in this game. I don't play enough, and frankly I don't like people.
Well if you don't play enough then you're not facing a wider variety then so your data set is more limited. As for the latter that's no big deal, to each his or her own in forming relationships or liking ppl.
If you know how they play that lends to coordination. And you are still surviving with friends, you just didn't use the actual mode. What am I missing here? I'm hard pressed to call you randos, or solos here. It's pretty disingenuous to push the narrative you're just 4 solos.
Ok so because I know how solo people play that lends to coordination, how is that any different than a killer knowing how people play?
Also good grief just stop making up excuses since i'm not friends with any of them, I'm not friends with them on Steam, or any social media etc. Now you're just making up excuses and shifting blame from where it really is you.
If we all randomly queue in as solo players that's the very definition of randos no matter how you try and twist it to fit your biased narrative. You can try and twist , deflect use alternative facts, make up your own facts etc, it doesn't change the fact were random players.
You also just proved my point that the vocal minority on ehre will makeup and or use any excuse to justify their bad gameplay even against solo players. I gave you a perfect example of non swf and what'd you do make up an excuse and try and say it was swf anyways.
The only one being disingenuous here is you and the fact you'd thought that totally illogical argument would fly speaks volumes. It just goes to show you'll never accept that when you lose it's not just because swf or because their might've been swf but because of you.
I'm hard pressed to call it outplaying when you're still coordinated like that. It's not just you, it's you, and your pals combined.
It's called outplayed because the killer made more mistakes then we did and we're not pals since I'm not friends with them on steam and have never talked to them on voice or any social media. Oh and some of the killers we faced would also 4k us because GASP THEY OUTPLAYED US.
And lets not pretend that SWFs, be it function or not, won't capitalize better on mistakes made.
Oh gee it's almost as if solo's won't capitalize on mistakes as well or that GASP killers won't do the same.
You can't just up and dismiss the issue. My experiences in this game won't let you. You're not quite seeming in touch with the issue since you regularly play high levels, and there's no one really smurfing to vs you, and you just brush off SWF. You have the arsenal, experience, and so forth.
Why not, you're dismissing what I have to say because my experience isn't the same is yours so talk about being hypocritical. You can dismiss me but I can't dismiss yours well now that's about as entitled as you can get.
What I see is you making excuses up left and right and then when one excuse gets debunked or countered or is contradicted or you're given info to help you. All you do is go onto the next excuse and deflection, when that doesn't work it's insult, degrade, ignore and say your opinion is the only relevant one.
If you don't have the experience who's fault is that, yours or mine, you can't complain about lack of experience then turn around and complain about being bad because of same. You've had plenty of chances to get better but instead of getting better you chose the path of least resistance.
Which is of course make up excuses, blame others, blame the game, blame other players for just flat out playing better than you etc.
You're never going to get better if all you do is play the blame game and victim card, learn from your mistakes, accept you made mistakes and improve. I don't come here and complain when I get outplayed whether by solo or swf or a combo of them.
Since even when I win against said groups I still always made mistakes even when no gens got done, there's always something I can improve on. The same is true when I get smoked, i learn from what I did wrong and try to do better the next game.
You trying to outright dismiss it doesn't help your case.
I really don't care if I make my case to you. I'm pretty sure you really don't care since your goal is basically to keep people facing mixed rank SWFs, and smurfs so they git gud since that's all i really run into as killer.
Yes, it matters that you know the people. Just how do you think SWF played before SWF was implemented?
And how do you think they will play if SWF ever gets a substantial penalty?
Exactly how you and your buddies played running into eachother, more or less. The level of actual friendship doesn't matter. It's the synergy you have that you would not have with true randoms.
A killer can't memorize everyone they meet. Especially in a larger pool.
Good grief, see above. You're playing how SWF will play if there is ever a substantial penalty to SWF basically.
And how they did before SWF was in the game in essence.
It's what I did a long time ago when I played other games that didn't have ways to meet up.
It's more SWF than not. You aren't winning that argument.
It's not how/if I win, or lose, it's how they play the game. They're often breaking it. If you think that's fair at all, we may as well stop talking to eachother.
The ability to capitalize on mistakes increases immensely with coordination.
You're the hypocrite telling people to git gud while partaking in easy mode SWF, and defending it.
You're not debunking, or countering, you're just trying to. If you were making any reasonable points, i would have agreed, but nope, you defend mixed rank swfs, smurfs, and people brewking the game by saying git gud, and bragging about your gaming style which has more resources than I have.
It's like we're in a race where you have a formula one car and I have a reliant robin, and youbexpect me to keep up.
Getting the resources to catch up to you is harder than you will ever want to admit, if you can even fathom it.
The fact you can't see the disadvantages the people complaining have compared to you is what ruins your arguments.
Your position on SWF is not one that isbgoing to change my mind. -

Acts of coordination and knowing what and who is where no group of solos would ever pull off. That's not always correct since I've been in countless games where I know everyone by name and we're all solo and just know what to do. The killer just gets outplayed or makes tons of mistakes then says I knew i should've dodged you because SWF.
If I see someone running for an unhook I simply turn around unless I'm close enough to help heal and if not I go back to totems/gens. Before region lock removal I used to play with the same group of 20 or so players around 2-4 am PST.
I knew their skill sets and how they played, I knew several were from Australia and same for New Zealand, 2 were from japan and 3 were from China. There were several west casters like me and 2 from Hawaii, 1 from Guam/outlying minor islands.

######### fuckinnnng ######### SWFs.
Sweaty tryhards that feel entitled to killers playing with a code of honor when these ######### will gladly abuse voice chat, and don't give a damn about what the killer gets.
This holiday season got me like the Futurama Santa clause. Jolly, then Hooo hooo hooo *angry eyes* you've been very naughty and now I want to kill you all. I want unlimited Moris.
Then there's the toxic shits that feel entitled to the killer following their code, and getting all pissy when you don't.
Ever since Halloween I've been running into these #########. People different color ranks, smurfing #########.
Fuuuck you. You get NOTHING. Especially if you give nothing.
You're also not impressing anyone, especially me. You don't have room to call out anyone on their skills when you play in easy mode. Especially you smurfs, and people taking advantage of matchmaking to go against low rank killers.
No, these punk ass bitches aren't far and few in between. I dare say they're worse in lower ranks because the same reason people hate depipping killers.
There's actual rank levels to go up. It might be different if red ranks had a pink and purple lording over them.
Speaking of, all these red ranks trying to do damage control over swfs talking about them not being as hard as people think are so ######### out of touch! They have the tools to combat SWFs while the people complaining do not!
They don't have higher ranks depipping to them to bully them.
Not all of us have the time or patience to put up with the difficulty spikes, and gambling on how sweaty tryhard these SWFs will be.
All this damage control rings hollow.
It's ######### stupid to just expect newbies, and people clawing their way to having a decent arsenal to just get good in the face of mixed rank SWFs, and smurfs. S t u p i d.
SWFs do more to screw over these killers than help them grow, that's for damn sure.
In the end? I doubt they give a damn.
Out of steam for that topic. Next?
Goddamn gate camping shits. We both know how safe you dipshits are. You're not brave for staying in the game long after anyone is in danger.
The teabaggers that wait for you to chase them out.
Go ######### yourselves. Just press forward and walk your asses out of the gate. It's way easier than me giving a damn.
Unless you made the game interesting, I ain't chasing you fools out.
And you'll know if you made the game interesting enough because I will be hot on the heels of someone.
If I walk away, if I don't show up? Game is over. Go on. Step along. Move along.
Boring ass, usually SWFs that just give me a bad time, and expect ######### from me? How dumb are you? Why the ######### would I give you morons any satisfaction?
If you can't see how annoying it is, stop trying to be damage control, and just use some imagination.
Heaven forbid I make an effort to let you jackasses all go free like I did in the halloween event.
Pardon the ######### out of me for trying to be nice to you, and let you leave will no serum penalties. NO, you asshats just gotta wait at the gates, or be even more annoying.
Don't bring up altruism, damnit, there's a clear and obvious difference between the two. If some ass wants to stay for the hatch, bail and let them. They aren't getting it with you here.
Complaining about NOED, are we? Do totems. Run small game, and/or detective's hunch to make it easier. It can be countered.
Push comes to shove, your asses don't have to be camping at the gate to get hit by it. Just do what you're supposed to be doing when a murder hungry psycho is coming after you, and run.
If you're half as good as you think you are, nevermind as good as you think your SWF is, it shouldn't be an issue.
Speaking of totems, why ya gotta pick on Toth when there's no other ######### totems in your way?
Next?
I'm not just poking at survivors .
Killers with no chill.
You mongrels just have to gobble up everyone as fast as you can, huh? As bad as gen rushing is, kill rushing isn't much better. Especially from smurfing dipshits that just want to bully.
Goddamn, people, you can't even pretend to make it fun for others? Sloooowww down. If you're as good as you think you are, then you can certainly pace yourself a little. Destroying people isn't interesting, or fun.
Campers? You're annoying. Yeah, it's a legit tactic, but you're annoying. Especially when you have no chill. Get the hook out of your ass, and put survivors on it.
Killers bitching about the hatch? You ain't earned ######### unless you stopped 2 gens from popping, or actually stopped the last person from outplaying you.
Stop being 4k crazed murder boner popping babies.
There's no stat tracking. You don't have to 4k to pip. No one really cares about your record but you, chief. You know, since that your record doesn't exist. .
You can't prove your virility to us, so relax your ass, yeah?
Is the hatch perfect? No, but it's better than your usual ideas that pretend to give survivors a chance at best. Mein gott, you're not Amanda. Give people an actual chance. You don't have to play to a code of honor, but no one is going to applaud easy kills.
At least be honest and say you just want the free 4th kill.
Yeah, DS is annoying. Dribble, or take the hit early so you can build pressure back for the end.
Here's a little something to both.
If your goal is to make sure the other side walks out with less than 10k points, get that garbage out of here. ######### off.
And that ends my rant. Back to me trying to be remotely civil about my grievances, as futile as it might be. -

the only thing that i can see balance for swf its 2 things1.-make solo survivors have kindred and bond as kit (devs already said that could be in the game but i dont know when)
2.- give more BP for killers and thats itGiving killers more BP is not a balancing aspect. It's simply a reward for playing in a unfair environment and tolerating the BS that comes with it. It is no different than offering killers double BP to have a 100% loss rate. Once someone no longer needs BP, then what? If BP were all that matters the only perks killers would run would be Thrill of the Hunt, Distressing, Beast of Prey and Barbeque and Chili.
I'm reminded of the Roast of Flavor Flav.
After the roast, a friend walked up to Flav and said "dude, how could you just sit there and take all they said about you?"
Flav replied "Because I'm getting paid to."
Roughly.
And i usually do run Toth, Distressing, and Beast of Prey on my huntress for the BP. I refuse to buy leatherface because I probably won't ever use him, and I probably will hate it when his ritual pops up.
I have enough low level killers for that.
I will say, however that I would prefer killers being balanced with SWFs. How the hell they would do it without catching solos in the crossfire, I do not know, though.
So since balancing killers vs SWF seems unlikely I'd rather have compensation for putting up with SWF until balance does happen. -
The Spirit has excellent synergy with her perks.Dehitay said:@Rebel_Raven said:
Legion is horrible. You should not need to bandaid the flaws with perks from other killers, nor rely heavily on addons as much as Legion does.Is there a single killer who has so little synergy with their perks? A base kit so screwed up, they really are terrible naked?
Theoretically, you can do the same thing without Bloodhound. Bloodhound just makes it 100 times easier. Like how Monitor & Abuse makes it significantly more easy to use jumpscare tactics with Myers, and Iron Maiden makes spray and pray tactics easier for Huntress. Most people actually use the moonwalking strategy more than this which is just a weaker version of Bloodhound Legion.
You can easily play Legion effectively without addons. You just need to get closer to the survivors before starting frenzy if you're not using frenzy duration or speed boosts. Actually, most of his addons would require the same gameplay as base, but offer more chances instead.
While Legion does have poor personal perk synergy, that's not new to Legion. Even with the last chapter, they didn't make perks specific to the new character. They've just started adding general use perks with new content instead of character specific ones.
However, I can understand complaints that Legion can make gameplay unfair. But the same can be said of a lot of standard survivor gameplay. Pallet looping was never intended but is used in pretty much every game nowadays. Vault loops are also the same. The irony is that Legion completely counters these things because of this unintended playstyle. Chases actually weren't intended to go on for the duration of a match when the game was designed. This playstyle wouldn't really be advantageous if chases lasted only as long as intended on game release.
Her spirit walk lets her slip up onto an obsession and mori them with Rancor.
Haunted Grounds lays a solid trap for a fast moving slasher to use.
Spirit Fury makes chases easier for her since she can't warp through pallets.
Now lets talk legion.
Mad Grit is pretty general. Does help.
Discordance is in huge need of a rework since the aura offers no information beyond what's on the tin. Problem is that info isn't enough and the aura lingers well after every survivor ran the heck away.
It's helpful if you really want to use it.
Iron Maiden is the biggest problem. Exposed does nothing to help Legion in frenzy. The large bonus of this perk is basically wasted because deep wounds and exposed have zero synergies. No downing, no extra damage, nothing.
Legion is too addon dependent to play naked effectively unless the survivors are dumb as hell. -
Yeah, i started playing, loved it. Wanted my friends to get it.
Then ran into my first genrushing, and got a wakeup call.
Did some research on SWFs, realized how common they are, and the crap they do, and, well, i can't recommend the game anymore.
I can't in good faith put friends through the frustration SWF brings, and the fact nothing is really being done about them.
I still love the game. Still buy stuff with auric cells.
But unfortunately it really did stop being the game I read about that got me playing to begin with.

Though it would be nice to have encouragement for Survivors to leave the trial as quick as possible, free bloodwarden is a no no over on my end. That's taking away a perk too that's really nice.
I think after X amount of time your aura should be revealed and stay revealed to the Killer. Lockers do not provide aura reading blockage and therefore you'd have no choice but to run from the Killer and leave.
Unless you surprise the hell out of someone at the gate (only a few killers realistically can) and down them in one hit, they're absurdly safe.
There's not a goddamn thing you can do to stop them from escaping short of surprising them because the whole area is safe.

The game IS over at that point.Brady said:I hate this "When the exit gates are open, the game is over" mindset that we see so frequently.
I acknowledge that holding a game hostage is prevalent, but such drastic changes cannot be implemented just because of a scenario that happens like 1% of the time. (I got thousands of hours and never had my game held hostage. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I mean really? Is it such a priority to fix this problem)
Survivors know it. Killers are waking up to it more and more.
And survivors, and defenders of teabagging at the gate basically demand they be hit out, and you hit them out when we don't want to be forced to do it.
Aura reveal is meaningless. We know where they are. -

If anyone is trying to escape and killer manages to reach the exit gate before survivor can leave that survivor will be blocked as long as other survivors are still in the match, right?
No, you are asking for a free kill. No, what I'm asking is a system that makes survivor play the way a survivor should around a killer. When the escape gates are open, the match shouldn't turn into this safe-zone/Safe-haven ruining any immersion left in the game.
Instead survivor's should escape when they get the chance and only consider staying if someone is already caught.
After they leave, they should believe in the last survivor's ability to escape, rather than becoming this retired party-meat jumping around the map.
You are still asking for easier kills.
And btw... "instead durvivor's should escape when they get the chance" Don't tell survivors what they should do if you don't want to be told what you should do as a killer.
Survivors camp the safe zone of the gate room. Killers don't like it. Gets told to just hit them out. -
Was vs a 3 man SWF trying to get my hit 4 people after blinking with the nurse who I'm fairly garbage with.
The 4th was saboing my hooks so he lost mercy.
Of course the 3 knew where i was at all times, and gen rushed me while I was fumbling about.
Managed to hook one as there was no gens left, and made it hell on them to get them off until they basically swapped with the other 2 until I guess they gave up and let me have a kill. The solo had the sense to leave.
Got sent memes about how terrible I was facecamping while they were being absurdly altruistic at the end.
Saw the SWF composition, and they had one ranked a color or two above me.
The opinions of an SWF that tries that damn hard means nothing to me, but I let them know about their BS. -
Sorry to hear that. Almost every time I was a killer i was vs a sweaty swf with mixed ranks, and every time I was a survivor, it seemed like the majority were just suicidal.MakoFenrir said:

I was VS a huntress in The Game.
A Claudette and myself were running from her near the basement in the hall with the pallet.
She was ahead of me, threw it down, and stayed there. I threw my firecracker down, and blinded myself while frantically trying to vault.
I got hit, and when I could see again, I was further down the hall, and managed to run to safety.
Later on, I ended up just barely escaping the match. I was the last hooked, and while the huntress was on patrol, I got unhooked. Had a real chase out as I was indeed running for my life.
(Gotta love kids who have to exploit a known glitch for an advantage huh😂)
I'm surprised I got anything done.
I appreciate funny stuff more when my experience is overall, drek. -
Why no bots? Having a killer bot chase you, or a survivor bot to chase would help practice.

Legion is horrible. You should not need to bandaid the flaws with perks from other killers, nor rely heavily on addons as much as Legion does.
Is there a single killer who has so little synergy with their perks? A base kit so screwed up, they really are terrible naked? -
Makes me wish I had unlimited ebony moris at the rate I run into SWFs these days.
Most of them have someone a color rank higher than me, or two. As in several rank colors higher, and/or multiples of them.
They definitely like to abuse voice chat, too.
One knows where my totem is, they all do.
LEAVE THRILL OF THE HUNT ALONE! *insert britney spears fan meme* there's no other totems, damnit! I just want BP!
No one getting an easier game out of SWF has any room to talk ######### about a killer's skill. It's pure hypocrisy.

*looks at the OPs forum name. Looks at the kinky stuff wanted done to Claudette.*

You do realize there are maps where the killer HAS to drop to get a survivor to the hook, right? I.e. lampkin lane.
Short sighted requests like this just lead to bullshit, and trolling. -

The hatch is there to prevent survivors from losing hope that the entity feeds off of.
It's there to keep the 4th from getting completely screwed by potato allies and being ledlft with 1 to 3 gens left to do solo.
It's so killers don't get a guarenteed 4k no matter how big their murder boner is.
It's not perfect, but making it near impossible to access in dire straits is not the way to go. -
Hell no. As long as SWF can basically break the game, it never will be.
-
As long as they're versions, and not replacements of the current survivors, I don't see much harm in the option.
Well, until some jackass decides they don't like me playing as Min, Nea, or Kate, and tries to get me to play as someone else. ######### that.

Still will not stop mixed ranks from doing SWF, or else it would probably destroy SWFs, or lead to way more alt accounts, or survivors depipping.Vietfox said:

Same colour rank should be enough. Although this game needs a rework on its rank system, but that's a different topic...
At least the latter might benefit killers some.
And the devs have to be careful about how they rebalance how SWF finds killers lest they make the survivors mad. I really do feel like they're scared of survivors.
A lot of SWFs are either powerleveling, or people looking to curbstomp.

Giving more bps for facing swf would make more people to play as a killer, meaning that killers would have longer queues (especially during extra bps events).
How many blood points did he get?
I know you didn't do that intentionally, but there's a lot of survivors that want to.
Skill and perks shouldn't factor in since not everyone has high levels of skill, nor the arsenal of perks needed.
Also rank doesn't factor in what perks someone has which may tip the scales.
Extra bloodpoints for the abnormal spike in difficulty SWF provides really should happen.
That was a matchmaking issue, not a fair pvp between same ranks, and a problem that shouldn't have ever happened in the first place, that's why i posted it.
I totally agree that matchmaking should be fixed and not only that, if a group of swf have different ranks the highest one should be the one which counts for the matchmaking.
He clearly lacked the experience, skill, and perks to even make a dent in the difficulty you presented.
Smurfing survivors magnify the issue.
Basing things off an variable like skill, especially since SWF makes games easier for survivors and harder for killers at the same time is, well, dumb. You cannot accurately measure skill.
You should know full well by that experience that killers don't always make good bloodpoints when facing SWFs, too.
Normalizing your experience with SWFs with everyone elses is not a good thing to do. It vastly skews your point of view.
Bluntly the more you have in this game, the more out of touch you are with the issue.
If SWFs weren't a problem, we wouldn't be seeing threads complaining about them.
1 - Don't forget that both killers and survivors smurf by deranking on purpose, i know a few killers from this forum who do it.
2 - swf is a double edged sword.
When playing as a survivor, there are friends who can slow you down and make things more difficult.
When playing as a killer, i've met solo players who were tougher than swf.
3 - i can understand people complaining about certain stuff, but seriously, SERIOUSLY, most of the complaints can be solved with patience, effort and by getting better.
Note that i said "most of the complaints", by that i mean that i admit this game still needs some buffs for killers who need them the most and some other fixes, but right now this game is far from being as bad as people claim it is.
IMHO people are overreacting when it comes to swf.
I'm sure they're massive assoles, too for the most part.
But when killers depip, the survivors get something out of it. They certainly can't game the system as easily.
When survivors go for lower ranks they just screw with match making. Killers get nothing out of that.
2: lol no. SWF makes things easier. Imagine if that worse player was in a group of 4 solos?
The game is easier when the bad player is getting carried. It might slow the others down, but it's likely not enough.
3: Yeah, lets keep lvl 18 killers facing red ranks, and smurfs.
I'm sure the killers will just get better, and get those perks eventually! I mean they're rolling in bloodpoints even through that merciless ass whipping, right?
I'm sure they learn so much from people using troll tactics, and not giving them a shot in hell.
I've been seeing people in ranks that have zero business vsing me all event long. It's getting worse.
That worse player would do worse when playing solo but better players would do better without that bad survivor.
As i said, a rank 18 killer facing rank 1 survivors shouldn't be a thing.
Back to the topic: giving extra bps for playing against swf is a mistake for the reasons i estated before, like longer queues for killers. But if we were to implement it then we should give more bps to solo players facing killers with purple/pink addons or ebony moris as well because they would make the match way more difficult to solo survivors, don't you think?
That still doesn't negate that SWFs have an easier game. I've seen absolute shittons of big brother SWFs trying to protect people.
It shouldn't happen, but that's what happens when SWFs get free reign, and it's likely to get worse still when console users can't tell them apart from everyone else with the new matchmaking.
And that's what happens when it's okay for SWFs to run rampant. They get the easier game, and make it harder for killers.
How big does the rank gap have to be before you feel sorry for the killer?
Frankly I have nothing against solos getting more points vs a killers loadout.
Shorter games screw the people on the recieving end, killer or survivors.
I just hope it doesn't lead to SWFs trying to get into the same lobby as solos.
It's easier to handle killer since they're always solo. -
