Hm maybe The Game? I think most maps look great now it’s just the sizes that need to be addressed.
-
I’d be sad. I got into this game this past October and never played anything like it, and got hooked! (not literally) it’s a very fun game and I love the characters and gameplay.
I’d also be a little mad because I ended up unlocking all the characters and wasn’t able to play as everyone yet.
-
When you’re phasing with Spirit, can you still see/hear generators being worked on by survivors?
-
Running around everywhere, not realizing it left scratch marks. I thought Scratch Marks were something that was left behind by injured survivors. I used to think what was the point of just walking?
All it took was one game with Nancy using Fixated to realize that running left scratch marks.
-
Huntress and Wraith are my mains.
Also really enjoying Legion (picked up recently) and Pig (mostly aesthetically, but being a sneaky piggy is cool).
-
Lullaby.
both of my mains came from it.
-
Yeah something needs to be done about it since the gates are usually never opened unless everyone is ready to get out.
-
P3 Claudette. My eyes can’t determine her from a bush.
-
Actually pretty recently. 4 survivors still alive and exit gates opened. I was playing as Wraith. One survivor escaped, I managed to hook one of the three remaining survivors (Claudette) on a hook.
The Jake pointed at me to get me to follow him away from the hook. I had a hunch he was just trying to distract me from the hook so that the other Claudette can unhook the hooked Claudette. I rang my bell towards him as if I was going to chase after him after I uncloaked, then used the burst of speed after uncloaking to go back to the hook where sure enough, the other Claudette was trying to unhook the hooked Claudette. I hit her, she ran away. The Jake pointed at me again and I managed to hit him before he vaulted a window, then hit him again to down him.
By then, the other Claudette managed to unhook the hooked Claudette, I hit the rescuer Claudette to down her. I noticed the Claudette that just got unhooked was hesitant to run to either the exit gate or heal one of her teammates. I managed to down her before she could decide what to do.
With three bodies down, I hooked one of the Claudettes, took notice that the other one was crawling towards a corner trying to get as much distance from the nearby hook as possible. I grabbed the Jake and took him to a bit of a farther hook so that I can save the closest hook for the Claudette crawling to the corner, hooked him, then went back to hook the Claudette in the corner.
All this while the exit gates were opened and at any point any of the three remaining survivors could’ve escaped. Definitely one of my favorite moments in DBD and it wasn’t even a 4K :D

Favorite: Myers/Ghostface
Least: Probably Freddy?
-
I’d like it, even if each Killer had one gesture unique to them. The closest thing we have is I guess Ghostface teabagging.
-
Would generators affected by Thrilling Tremors (and Corrupt if you know) be highlighted in white kind of like Surveillance?
-
I liked the idea at first but then I thought what if one of the killers just decided to troll or be a “friendly killer”, then it’s essentially a 1v8.
-
I did it with Dwight using Bond and Prove Thyself. Bond to basically run around the map looking for survivors who are already working on gens, and Prove Thyself to get the gens done faster.
-
All the “repair this generator in this location and escape to tell the tale” ones.
-
I get the same exact way. I usually play a couple Survivor games in between Killer matches to take it a bit easy. But yeah, I’m also working towards just having fun as Killer even if I lose, rather than being sweaty all match trying to get these kills xD
-
Being a fairly new player that started playing this game this past October, I can’t really give my take on how I view them since the beginning, but I’ll give my take on how I view them recently.
I think art and music are top notch (The customizations are always so good and I love the main DBD theme, especially the survivor version) but I do find myself questioning some choices they make in terms of game balance. There’s a ton of improvements this game needs and often times the changes they do end up making make no sense at all.
I do like that some members are pretty active on the forums and interacting with players often though. That’s always a good sign.
-
Successfully landing a Head On on a killer that’s carrying a survivor
Landing Cross-map hatchets with Huntress
-
It’s one of the three perks I’m considering on using on my Huntress, along with either Corrupt or Thrilling Tremors to slow the game down.
-
Only my Laurie will have it
-
Huntress and Wraith
-
David King
It’s the reason I main him too lol
-
Call me boring but yeah, I just finish the game at that point.
If I completely curbstomp the survivors as Killer, depending on my mood I might give last survivor hatch.
-
David.
Default hair (might get the black cap sometime), the blue tank top from the first rift, and black sweatpants.
Huntress
Complete Blight set
-
Huntress. It might be the lullaby but curious to see how they would make it terrifying.
-
I run Kindred on all of my survivors. It’s less useful if you’re playing with friends, but for solo survivors like me it works perfectly for relaying information when you most need it.
-
I’ve had my fair share of frustrations with that challenge as well (even made my own post about it). Some survivors just wanna watch the world burn..
Best advice I can give is to keep at it, make sure you’re running Agitation and Iron Grasp to give you the best distance traveled while carrying someone.
-
Trapper, Legion, Oni, Myers, and Huntress c:
-
RE is my favorite video game franchise of all time so I’d be down. Nemesis as Killer and Jill Valentine for Survivor.
or if we wanna go with someone who actually doesn’t know how to fight back it could be Ashley from RE4, but Nemesis wouldn’t make much sense if she was picked.
Hmm 🤔
-
Trapper is way too low but I’ll respect your opinion.
-
I heard a really good build for her is:
- BBQ and Chili
- Whispers
- Nurse’s Calling
- Hex: Ruin
-
Used to use it when I first started playing Killer. Now I never use it unless I’m doing a challenge because it makes me feel so dirty.
I don’t mind too much when other killers use it, but it does make me hesitate to ever go for hook saves when it’s in effect unless I’m able to find the hex totem.
-
I love me some Beetlejuice but I’d have to agree with the others, he’s not really a killer and wouldn’t fit well.

I think a Mime would be dope.
Maybe a a horror illusionist! Ability to trap survivors in an illusion, the survivor thinks they’ve escaped only to snap out of it when hit.
having an Ultra-Rare perk that sends out illusions that the killer is after you only to dissipate when you would be hit.
That would be cool. I’m just imagining all the mind****ery that would take place. Maybe could even spawn fake hatches when there’s one survivor remaining and it’ll make them think they escaped only to close on them in the last second.
-
I’m in the camp that finds red harder to hit great skill checks with than white.
-
I got it yesterday after having two games in a row where survivors DC on hook. I think the best solution to this would be if you, as killer, pick up a survivor that’s on death hook, and they DC anytime between the moment you pick them up and they die on hook, it should still count as a sacrifice.

congratulations and happy new year :D
Thank you! :) same goes for you.
-
Ok, I finally got it! Got lucky and paired with survivors that didn’t DC on hook. The last survivor (David) actually didn’t wiggle even though I was decently far from the basement so I got lucky there.
-
I’m on the last page of rewards. Still need to do the stun killer 4 times in one trial challenge, and the 6 Feet Under challenge.
-
I’m all for it. Could be fun to navigate during work.
-
That’s not a bad idea. I think DS gives way too much power for a survivor, and it gets a little out of hand when 3-4 survivors run it in one match. I like the idea of making it a situational perk that directly counters Moris.
-
Monto and Otz are my favorite ones to watch. I also enjoy watching Noob3.
-
That’s what I heard about Freddy. He used to have a more unique playstyle but it wasn’t as effective as it is now. I found a video by Otz that shows the old Freddy and it looks like he manually pulls people into the dream world rather than passively. Overall I’m glad that his rework is a success and I’m excited to try him out at some point. Huntress is just too fun to play atm 😁
I’m still a little confused about Nurse but that might just be because her playstyle in general is really confusing to me. I did once see a video by Monto playing her and he was just blinking through the ceiling in Gideon Meat Plant to go from the lower level to the upper level and hitting people and it just blew my mind!
And that’s cool to know about Trapper/Wraith. I didn’t even know about that and can’t imagine how clunky it must’ve felt to take a long time setting traps. I can’t even begin to imagine how playing Wraith without the movement speed increase after uncloaking would be like..
-
Wow that was really informative! Good work 😊
-
I once let a final survivor (Jake) open the exit gates and escape when I played on the Switch version. I was playing Huntress and found him on the little corner next to the exit gate. I motioned towards the exit gate and he got the hint, opened it up while I stood next to him, then motioned towards the exit when he opened the gate up. He went up close to me as if to say “thank you” and then ran off. I felt good afterwards lol
-
I always thought about that and chuckle every time I’m carrying a Bill and he says “why?”
-
I got into recently this October. Back in June, I had a friend who was into horror games like I am tell me about Dead by Daylight and how addicting the game is. I started thinking about maybe buying it and giving it a shot. A few months later I went to NYC with a friend and it’s tradition for us to stop by the Nintendo Store every time we go, and I saw it there for the Switch. I bought it but I still didn’t play it until October which is usually customary for me to play mostly just horror games that whole month.
I gave DBD a shot on the Switch in handheld mode, played through the tutorial and found that I enjoyed the game but wasn’t feeling the controls in handheld. Ended up playing it docked and quickly got into it.
Then at some point I learned that there are actually killers missing in the Switch version (Cannibal and Nightmare, and Quentin from the Survivors list) and ended up picking up the PS4 version. By then I had already played about 25 hours on the Switch so I knew what I was doing and grinded DBD nonstop that whole entire weekend. Needless to say I’ve been addicted to DBD a lot ever since then and even ended up buying all the killers and survivors, including the new Oni and Yui.
I enjoy this game a ton now and thank my friend for peaking my interest in it. :P

Would legion be affected by ruin?
No since they’re not really repairing the generator. The speed at which they disrepair the generator is up to balance.
-
I had a cute little idea where Legion was able to interact with generators other than destroying them, they can “repair” the generators but actually be undoing the progress on the generators, and if a survivor comes to help with repairing the generator that Legion is at, Legion could quickly come out and either hit them or if they’re fast enough, grab them immediately and put them on a hook.
Legion would also have no terror radius while doing this.
