Wanted to include this for anyone interested in watching. Basically it’s an outside view of the controversies going on in bhvr especially with what happened recently.
Time stamp is 30:57.
-
Here’s mine.
-
Trapper and PH
-
I run Brutal Strength/Thanataphobia/Pop Goes the Weasel/Barbecue & Chili.
Brutal Strength to help a bit in chases since he relies on M1-ing to down survivors.
Thanataphobia as he’s one of the best users of this perk since he can injure survivors easily and keep them injured.
Pop Goes the Weasel for gen slowdown.
Barbecue for knowing where to go right after hooking someone and also bonus Bloodpoints.
I also heard the Enduring / Spirit Fury combo works really well on him since it helps a lot in cutting down chases.
-
Off The Record could also be considered anti-tunnel since its effect only comes into play right after you get unhooked, making your grunts of pain lower and your aura unable to be read.
-
Yup definitely what @KingFrost suggested with a bit of a beat in the background to complement it when he’s actually chasing you. The terror radius could just be the Ch Ch Ch Ah Ah Ah and it grows louder depending on how close he is.
-
And Adrenaline for even more speed. However getting all of this to work together at the same time is almost impossible.
-
Tbh No Mither needs to do something entirely different than being able to pick yourself up, as any killer with a brain will know never to slug a No Mither.
I think your idea is pretty good. It’d actually make the perk worth using if you’re good at getting chased, with the downside that you’re a one hit down at all times. Recover from Exhaustion while running, 50% lower grunts of pain and no blood trails.
I would actually run this version of No Mither with my vault build (Resilience/Spine Chill)+ Dead Hard
-
First they need to look into the Luck mechanic. I agree it’s a mostly useless mechanic that should probably be scrapped. Up the Ante should be reworked into something else entirely and the luck offerings should either be removed or reworked as well.
-
I love the addition of the hook stages, but as most people feel I agree the placements are all over the place when everything looks better when it’s more together.
Honestly it would be way better if they keep it the way it already is but just add the hook stages next to the person’s portrait, and replace the portraits with the adept icons. Have it flash red if they’re injured, have it be solid red if they’re dying, and just replace with a hook icon if they’re hooked, then have the skulls if they’re dead.

ngl that made me giggle!
I feel like Iron Maiden would be the funniest instance of that perk. You would literally have survivors exit a locker farting as if they took care of business in there lol.
-
Yeah I generally have no issue if a survivor brings a key. I’ll play the match like normal. The thing that ticks me off are those that last second switch to a key. Those are the survivors I will gladly tunnel without a second thought.
-
I thought the exact same thing lol. At most the only skin you can see is the weapon and in some cases your hand that’s tied to your overall outfit. Still though I guess it’s to look fashionable to the survivors you play against :)

Vault build (Spine Chill and Resilience)
Dead Hard

Killer BBQ because more money
Survivor kindred because the amount of information is insane.
Exactly this.
-
I’d say DBD is in the most balanced state it’s ever been. That being said, I still think a 4 man optimal SWF wins more matches over a killer who is also playing optimally.
-
People generally don’t like going up against killers that debuff you in any way, especially when it comes to movement. The only other killer that slows down your movement is Clown, and people also find him boring to go up against even though that’s the only thing to his kit.
-
Honestly, Third Seal when it comes to solo queue survivors. Blindness is really strong against them, even if they aren’t equipped with aura reading perks. It allows you to effectively slug and if they weren’t paying attention to where someone was hooked that person might never get saved. It’s weaker if you’re talking SWF though.
-
OoO - when the killer is able to see your aura, you see their aura in unison. You can see their aura for an additional 1/2/3 seconds.
Poised - After a generator is repaired, Poised activates. While walking, press the Active Ability button to hide your scratch marks for 4/5/6 seconds. Poised does not stack with consecutively repaired generators.
Babysitter - For as long as the unhooked survivor remains injured, the next time their aura would be read, your aura will get shown to the Killer instead. This can only be done once per unhook. Unhooking someone else will cancel the previous survivor’s aura protection. In the instance that both the unhooker and hooked survivor are running this perk, this effect will not work.
NOED - remove the hex part of the perk. When all generators are repaired, gain a token for each totem still standing in the trial. For each token, gain a 2% movement speed increase. This movement speed remains permanent regardless if any totems get cleansed after the gens are done. Hitting a survivor with a basic attack blocks the Exit Gates for that survivor for 5/7/9 seconds.
-
Have an indicator so your teammates know you have Solidarity is a good start.
After that, make it so that if you’re Healthy and you heal another teammate the equivalent of one health state, the next time you get injured your bar is automatically filled up 50%. This gives it a use outside of being Injured.
-
It’s a difficult achievement to get. I only managed to get it by farming with the killer and him letting me escape when two other survivors DC’d.
-
Changed my name about 3 weeks ago and my stuff was all good. I saw Dead By Daylight on the list of games that don’t get affected by name changes on PS4.
-
As someone above has stated, a replay system for sure. I’d love to be able to see my game from the start from any of the 5 perspectives to see how I could have done something better, or to catch someone if they were hacking.
-
I would like to see it synergize well with Deliverance, and maybe make it chase-oriented to activate as opposed to healing. Say for example, you run the killer for 80/70/60 seconds before you get hooked and it activates as opposed to healing someone up to the equivalent of one health state.
-
Premonition for sure. Spine Chill outclasses it in every way the only difference being Premonition lets you know what direction they’re coming from. But still 30 seconds is way too long I’d like it bumped down to at least 20 seconds in tier 3.
Zanshin Tactics has 10 seconds longer cooldown than Windows which makes no sense as they both offer the same effect. It’s not like killer knowing where pallets are are more useful than survivor knowing where pallets are, it’s the opposite actually.
-
Pretty accurate for the most part except Kate’s are actually very common and don’t belong in the “who the hell plays these” category.
-
David and Pyramid Head
-
If Bloodlust ends up getting removed in the base game, Beast of Prey could be reworked into a perk that enables a Bloodlust-like mechanic for killer players who really want it incorporated into their gameplay.
-
I think the only thing they need to fix this is to have Killer Instinct on the survivor carrying Victor and replace the Hemorrhage status effect with Hindered so they can’t loop as effectively.
-
I feel like they would go Sam or Mike as they kind of seemed like the main hero characters near the end. I’d honestly be fine with either.
-
When I play killer I don’t feel at a disadvantage at all when playing against a PC survivor as opposed to a console survivor. I play on PS4. As others have stated the main issue when it comes to consoles is FPS as often I find I just outright lose survivors after hitting them cuz the frames just go so low.
-
Sprint Burst/Fixated/Vigil is pretty fun.
Self Care/Botany/Desperate Measures/WGLF or We’ll Make It for speedy heals to other people and yourself.
Built to Last/Streetwise/Plunderer’s/Ace in the Hole is a fun item efficiency build, works especially well with med-kits and toolboxes.
-
I want to see a perk that plays around with mechanics that don’t really have a perk to them, like allowing you to sprint an additional 1/1.5/2 seconds after you get hit by the killer but only at the first hit of each hook stage or something.
Also perks that complement good sportmanship habits.
-
I’m sure David, Bill, Jeff, and Jake could easily beat up a Legion member with ease.
-
The worst ones are Quentin, Ace, and Steve imo.
My vote goes to Steve. I legit think all his perks are trash.
-
Yeah it’s not working for me either. It keeps saying “Failed to create party.” Kinda annoying but I guess I’ll just play Killer.

I really like the idea of a moth based power! Can you describe shortly what they do in that game?
The moths were primarily used to block interactions with certain things like doorways and ladders, as well as momentarily immobilizing the player forcing them to “shoo them off”.
In the context of DBD I could see her being able to use moths as a projectile to either block vault locations for a bit or force them to have to shoo the moths after vaulting, allowing her to close in on them. She could also use her moths on lockers to prevent survivors from entering or forcing survivors who are in them to stay stuck inside. Also I like the idea of her being able to use moths on generators to automatically regress them without having to kick it.
-
I really would like to see a Remothered chapter. Rosemary Reed as survivor, The Red Nun as the killer, and the Felton Estate as the map. The Red Nun would use moths as her power, and there’s even terror radius music implemented in the game that would fit so well in DBD.
Also would like to see a Clock Tower chapter. Scissorman as Killer, Jennifer as Survivor, and the Barrows Mansion as the map.
Last but not least, Brenda Meeks as a survivor from Scary Movie :)
-
Playing DBD and Clock Tower on the PS1.
Might watch a scary movie later on at night.
-
Huntress is quite possibly the worst.
Other contenders are Wraith and Nightmare.
-
No I think it’s a horribly designed perk giving SWFs an unfair advantage over the killer. You only need one person to run this perk and the whole team has information on you at any given time, forcing the killer having to single out and tunnel the OoO just so he can get things back on track.
-
Unless they have Ace in the Hole and manage to escape by the end.
-
It’s a real shame. I play on PS4 and I’m just not even gonna bother with it since I know I won’t be able to type the codes fast enough.
-
This is one bug that they absolutely need to leave in the game. How long have we been wanting counterplay against Spirit and haven’t had/heard anything from the devs? This is a bug but it’s such a step in the right direction for healthy gameplay.
Please devs make this a feature! I feel like if you guys fix this there’s gonna be a riot xD
-
I remember I was playing Wraith on a Coldwind map. I downed and hooked a Nancy only to find out I was stuck to the hook and couldn’t move. I just cloaked and let someone save her and stayed stuck on the hook while they finished gens and teabagged me :/
-
Survivor - Probably Cyber Punk Nea. I really love all three parts of that set.
Killer - Hmm I really dig that Spirit skin where she has white hair, also like Frank’s Varsity outfit.
-
Brenda Meeks from Scary Movie.
-
I really hope so. Would love to see some of the clipping issues get resolved like in David’s shirtless skin.

This picture is the exact reason I pair those two together as well lol

I thought about this the other day. Borrowed Time should definitely merge with Babysitter.
Other than that Buckle Up should be merged with something else, maybe WGLF when it gets its new buff?
