What perk or perks do you think have too long a cool down?

Simple what perks are limited because they have a long cool down. Personally I believe Thrilling Tremors and Dragons Grip should have a shorter cool down. Like make your choice they should be at 60/50/40 cool down.

Comments

  • The new Twins perk: Cooldown is way too long, and the cooldown of it feels like the devs are trying to get rid of the slowdown meta

Surge: I personally think the cooldown is too long

Blood Favor: Makes no sense why it's a hex perk with a cooldown

Thrilling Tremors: This might be my entitled side talking but I feel that this perk shouldn't have a cooldown

  • Oppression. The cooldown is REALLY long.

Surge. I’ve changed my mind and don’t think it should have no cooldown anymore since it now synergises with Ruin for some dumb reason, but it should be 30 seconds and not 40.

Dragon’s Grip. Reduce the cooldown and increase the time it’s active IMO. I tried using it and between these two limitations it’s pretty lacklustre.

Windows of Opportunity and Zanshin Tactics. Why do these have cooldowns again?

Saboteur. It should be 30 seconds, not 60. 60 is just too long for the perk to be even vaguely useful.

  • Quick and Quiet tiers 1 and 2. It's weird how the devs did so much work reducing the difference between the tiers of all the perks but then left the Quick and Quiet tiers at 20 second intervals. It makes this perk the odd one out compared to the rest of the perks in the game.

  • Honestly most killer perks that have a cooldown already need a condition to be met. Why does surge and thrilling have a cooldown but infectious doesn’t? They all have the same requirement, more or less.

  • Premonition for sure. Spine Chill outclasses it in every way the only difference being Premonition lets you know what direction they’re coming from. But still 30 seconds is way too long I’d like it bumped down to at least 20 seconds in tier 3.

Zanshin Tactics has 10 seconds longer cooldown than Windows which makes no sense as they both offer the same effect. It’s not like killer knowing where pallets are are more useful than survivor knowing where pallets are, it’s the opposite actually.

  • Repressed alliance

It should be at least 30 seconds, or just as long as the effect. Maybe 10 seconds more idk.

Premonition is just kind of dumb honestly, spine chill is a much better version that gives you buffs as well.

  • Thrilling, Blood Favor, Windows of Opportunity, Zanshin Tactics, Premonition and Oppression need their cooldowns reduced.

  • For the people’s broken timer is too long in my opinion

  • 80 seconds for thrilling tremors is a bit too long as well.

60 would be more than enough

  • Any Means Necessary. If the God pallet isn't broken I don't want to wait, I want to reset it now

  • Any Means Necessary: You barely get to use it anyway, so any cooldown is redundant

Diversion: You are very rarely in the Killer's TR and NOT in a chase, so 45 seconds for each pebble is dumb

For The People: Should honestly be 60 seconds of Broken instead of 90

Premonition: Should honestly be 15 seconds

Red Herring: Why does this have a cooldown again?

Repressed Alliance: 60 seconds is way too long. The match is already over at that point

Stake Out: Should be 10 seconds

Visionary: This is so useless that a cooldown is just redundant

Blood Echo: Why does this have a cooldown? At the very least half it

Dragon's Grip: The thing with this cooldown is it isn't 80 seconds after you kick the gen, it's 80 seconds after the gen loses Dragon's Grip, so the cooldown is either 80 seconds after someone gets exposed from it, or assuming no one touches the gen, the cooldown is 110 seconds. That's stupid. Make the cooldown start as soon as you kick the generator

Hex Blood Favor: Why is this a hex and why does this have a cooldown? Hell, if it triggered every time a survivor got hit (not just by basic attacks), it was no longer a Hex, and no longer had a cooldown, this perk would still be #########, so cooldown too long lmao

I'm All Ears: Could be 30 seconds

    Oppression: Should be 60 seconds

Play With Your Food: The little cooldown before you can gain another stack should honestly be removed

Spies From The Shadows: Just remove the cooldown

Surge: Remove the cooldown or reduce it to 30 seconds and it isn't limited to basic attacks

Thrilling Tremors: Should be 45 seconds

Trail Of Torment: Should be 45 seconds

  • Windows of Opportunity should have a 20/15/10 cooldown instead.

Diversion needs a shorter activation period.

Any Means Necessary's cooldown could be reduced a little more. I think 60/50/40 seconds would be fine.

Dance with me should have a 30/25/20 second cooldown instead. Either that or the duration it lasts should be extended a little.

Oppression's cooldown should be reduced to 80/70/60 seconds.

Surge should have a cooldown of 40/30/20 seconds instead.

Thrilling Tremors should have a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds

I'm All Ears should have a cooldown of 30/25/20 seconds

Dragon's Grip should have a cooldown that starts either when someone becomes exposed and lasts until they are no longer exposed, or until the perk is no longer active on the generator.

    Remove Blood Favor's cooldown altogether

Get rid of Zanshin Tactics Cooldown altogether and just extend the range for higher tier perks

  • Any means necessary.

Just wanted to say the Play with your food cooldown was added to prevent people from cheesing the perk and getting all the stacks in a single chase.

I honestly believe all cool downs are fine except for 2 perks: Zanshin & WoO. These 2 perks shouldn’t have cool downs at all.

I mean, it wasn't even an insane perk when it was bugged to think downing a survivor was ending a chase, so this cooldown thing of PWYF is kind of unnecessary

  • I second Saboteur. Doing the 4 hook daily feels like constantly wincing at waiting on that timer.

  • My top three changes to CD perks

    Thrilling Tremors

    60 to 30 seconds

    Surge

    40 to 25

Dragons Grip (This is going to be lenghty haha)

increase trap from 30 seconds to 60 seconds

    Keep the expose duration

decrease cooldown from 80 seconds to 60 seconds

  • Anything 60s or more for killer perks is to much. I want to face killers that can apply consistent pressure, not just every other survivor they down. If a killer snowballs, let survivors feel the weight of their mistakes. Survivor perks are fine as we dictate the length of the match for the most part.
