Dead Hard absolutely wrecks her now if she's not running double cooldown.
-
"The slow down is countered by cleansing other totems, preferably, dull totems."
Why dull totems? They take the same amount of time to cleanse and also get the debuff/notification.

Yeah I guess so. I sware it only says 6% at level 3. I will look again.
6% per totem standing.

Wrong topic.
Silly Raccoon.

@The_Meh_Teh - Do you get it now?

Toxicity only occurs in the endgame chat, barring cheats/exploits.

To make killer abilities more fun to use and play against we should implement more cool downs.
Cool downs are the magic silver bullet that both prevents killers from overperforming and gives survivors enough time to goof around and enjoy the game.
Seems to have worked well for Nurse. It's like Flex-Tape - Just slap a cool down on that cool down so you can cool down while you cool down @_@
-
She is so unfun to play now ;(
I'm just dumping BP into her during this event to unlock all perks (for my OCD) a d never have to look at her again.
-
Every killer is pretty fun to play, imo, except Nurse.
-
I've put in a report against someone that said some very bad things post game (check my profile).
Video was provided.
If the devs aren't perma-banning people for life/death threats involving real authorities, I doubt they'd do anything in this scenario.

Whose moved on? We have some different ideas provided by someone who doesn't understand the game apparently.
Man you must miss the downvote from reddit. Echo rooms are easier to maintain there.
I'm not active on Reddit, but there used to be a downvote button here.
It served the opposite purpose - I'm not sure how you can say that a user's ability to show, both visually and globally, disagreement with a post regardless of its current popularity would promote an echo chamber ;3

Its only a 6% slow down though. Is it noticeable? Also I was asking in terms of playability not bloodpoints, which I consider to be a separate thing outside of the sessions.
It's 30% if all 5 totems are still up, 24% if 4 are up, etc.

Nice. I don't usually have room for it but it's never not been useful if I did run it. Thrilling tremors is really good. Hardly ever take it off
I'm All Ears is pretty fun on Leatherface...or any killer, really - It elimnates a lot of "window guessing."

P3-50 Myers and finally get M&A on him (currently P2-45 and I haven't seen M&A on his bloodweb yet)
If I get more BP than I need for Myers, I will P3-50 Jane (she is just lvl 40 right now, so I don't expect to achieve it during this bloodhunt)
I BELIEVE!

Finish leveling up the rest of survivors and nurse
Nurse is such a chore to play now - I need a few more perks on her, but certain maps are just an auto-loss - I'll probably just dump BP in without using her.

100% I don't understand the point of this perk. It needs a revamp.
It provides a BP bonus, slows Cleansing, provides tracking, and works particularly well on high mobility killers.

Well you supported OP which wants killers to be buffed in 3v1 scenarios.
I stated that DC's are usually low key defended on these forums, and provided an example of it destroying a solid/fun match's integrity.
I did not address his idea at all.
Long live your war on Raccoon.

I think fixing the game will help a lot in all the disconnect honestly. They don't need all these little caveats added.
Imagine being a survivor and waiting 20 minutes for a match. Finally loading in and you're going against a boring ass forever Freddy. Nobody has fun playing against that, I don't care what they say. It's boring as #########. I'm dipping and playing something else.

You'd have to be kidding to say killers should be buffed in 3v1 scenarios. If a survivor DCs early the team is screwed already and you want killers to be pampered so the devs change the rules for them. There'd be no way to balance this against survivors that dc on death hook. If you want a guaranteed obsession on demand run Nemesis. You can't say running a perk isn't a viable counter when the only counters to camping and tunneling are DS and BT. Hate to sound biased, but there's no reason for this to be implemented.
I never mentioned buffing anyone at all, but cool story. Thank you for your keystrokes.
-
Most of the people posting replies are just giving you the same old biased replies you'll see every topic, low key defending DC's.
Having a good, fun, game with a few stacks on your Dying Light, spreading out your hooks and struggling to keep that last gen from popping?
Oh, the obsession DC'ed, but that's ok because 3 v 1 is easier ;3
"Tactical DC, get wrecked"
Playing the game as intended is frowned upon, good sir.
You'd best learn that.

@laurelstroodle said:
If you are slugging that's you're fault, that's not what you're supossed to do, you need to hook survivors.
Decisive Strike can be countered by waiting the 60s or just not tunneling.
Dead Hard?
Seriously? A perk that's bugged, can be countered by waiting?
All of this perk WORKS because of the killers mistakes.
How do you counter people using Dead Hard for distance purposes (IE to reach a pallet/window to prolong a chase)? This is currently the preferred method of using this perk, given its unreliability at tanking hits on Dedicated Servers.
-
It provides a BP bonus, slows Cleansing, provides tracking, and works great on high mobility killers such as Wraith/Spirit/Billy is pure totem builds (which are both fun/memey and effective).
I think it's super fine as is.

I don't know who you think you are insulting me everywhere I post. I'm not some mindless biased main I am a person with ideas and ideals. The truth is exhaustion perks can't be abused no matter how strong you think they are.
The perk in question is not remotely balanced - A single use at the expense of 1 health state + exhaustion costs the killer a hook state, a wriggle free, a chase, a 5 second stun (allowing both survivors to get away). If the killer is not carrying a survivor, the perk is still op, open to abuse by SWF groups (preventing downs + stun + gain distance) via drive by protection hits.
Of course, it has the balanced counter play of "don't hit survivors that are bodyblocking you while praying you can get to the hook / hope that there aren't any nearby survivors when you hit someone while not carrying / hope no one cuts across while you are chasing."
Totally balanced and unabusable, thanks to Exhaustion! /s
It's absolutely mind-boggling to see anyone advocate that this would in any way be balanced, given all the uproar that Mettle of Man caused initially, even though it had less of an effect with a higher activation cost.
Unrelated - Have a safe and happy New Year :3

Youd basicly be looking at a sabo squad that doesnt need to actually sabotage hooks and basement not being an option. Its the same effect anyways with you getting downs but never being able to get anyone on a hook unless you slug them all first.
Shhhh....let it go - save your keystrokes.

You assume I have barely played? I've played for a year now, with plenty of hours. All I point out is how easy it would be for a survivor with your idea of the speed boost to just hop over to a chased survivor and they're off. Coordinate it and they all boost off. As for other perks, they are too OP with no visable downside, hence the need for a cooldown period, otherwise, we'll have a insta-heal medkit issue back
Dude, he literally said "protection is cool" when it would allow auto-escapes for any carried survivor.
I don't think you should really concern yourself with their opinion of your game knowledge.
-
If the perks and items literally designed to counter totems cannot placate you, what kind of conversation do you expect to have? What's your proposed fix to the problem you have presented? I'm especially interested, as NOED is not the only Hex perk that is beneficial to cleanse - all of which have to both be traveled to AND cleansed!
I'm legitimately curious - Where do you want the conversation to go, and what is your solution?

Next thing you know the killer is able to kill more people before end game because survivors were wasting time running around looking for dull totems instead of doing gens. Get hard countered killer who may or may not have noed.
If only there were items and perks that survivors could take to show them exactly where the totems are.

If the Killer played so good that theres no time to do totems, you shouldn't be worried about NOED. Forgive me if my outlook is not what you're trying to portray, but my definition of a Killer "playing so good" is getting a 4K before gens are done. In that case, why is NOED a concern if the gens aren't done and it can't activate (unless you're taking hatch of course, or the hatch is closed and you need to open exit gates)
Killer plays poorly/facecamps uses NOED to get kills = REEEEEEEE
Killer plays great with 3 perks (possibly 2 if Ruin is cleansed), hooks everyone 2-3 times prior to the end game, applies enough map pressure to prevent totems from being done/forces survivors to prioritize gens, cleans up with NOED = REEEEEEE
You should know that NOED, like the killer spawning on the map, is always a REEEEEEEEEEE.

I don't really understand people saying "just do totems" when that is not really practical in solo queue. Looking for totems as solo is a waste of time, I'd prefer to memorise the totem spots and check on them later.
In solo queue, you can be looking for a totem that's already been cleansed, which wastes A LOT of time. You have no way of knowing how many totems have been cleansed. If you want to say "just do totems" then there needs to be an in-game counter towards totems.
I run Detective's Hunch/Inner Strength/DS/Lithe in solo queue.
My games seldom have NOED activate, I make hella BP, and Ruin becomes a non-issue after a gen is done.
If you don't want to run anti-totem perks/items, don't complain about totems.

So, its my fault if the Killer plays so good that there is no time to do Totems? You know, in High Ranks, also the Killers get better. Sure, some are whiny and still Potatoes, but they are better.
Isn't this the ideal NOED activation, as in your scenario, the killer earned it by playing well enough all game with just three perks to prevent totem cleansing?
I mean, the primary complaint about NOED seems to be that it rewards bad killers that do "nothing," so why would the opposite scenario be equally egregious?
Seems like people are going to complain irregardless of how the game goes.

I've always thought that franklin's shouldn't be able to knock an item out of your hand if you have a white ward, I asked the devs in a stream about it around the time it came out and they said they had no intention of changing it to be that way, which in my opinion is pretty stupid. it wouldn't make franklin's useless, it would just be countered by an offering that's not used every single game. all it would do it make it so the offering was more useful. It's a stupid interaction to allow to happen. white ward is supposed to protect your item. people saying "why would they change something that's working as intended" I can hear your neck beard growing. they should change it bc it's bullcrap and shouldn't be that way. keeping the item in your hand leaves no possibility for duplicating items, if there's some duplication bug that needs fixing, that has nothing to do with the balance of an item, bugs should not be considered in a balance discussion, bc bugs can be fixed
Ah, insults because people are pointing out that both the perk and offering literally do what their descriptions state.
A classic tactic employed by someone with nothing to say - "I think it's stupid that it's working as intended - Have an insult."
Fortunately, both the game and the developers operate outside of your feelies.
"When da Weaved Ring rework?! It's not fair that I drop my Key AND add-on when hit with Franklin's Demise! This is stupid! Protect my Key!" - Topic from the Future, I'm sure.

Ok...laughing at him means you're right and he's not?
We're about to crack the greatest conspiracy theory of 2019!
Any proof of this system that tracks your monetary purchases, role preference, and game time - providing preference to players that fit into a specific area of each metric?
Yeah, I'm going to laugh at baseless conspiracy theories that suggest the developers give preferential queue treatment to certain people.
I don't know how I can be right or wrong though, unless I made a statement somewhere above that I'm missing.
