You laugh, state that it wlll not effect you, then, literally one paragraph later, provide a scenario where it will effect you and state that during this scenario you feel that " DS should truly be disabled, as I am not tunneling."If pointing out your flip-flopping and self-contradiction is trolling, then color me Shrek, baby.
Dude, learn English. At least how to understand it. Your understanding is in severe need of help. Nice troll!
Point out the misunderstanding so we can all grow as a community. I don't mind being shown where the misinterpretation may be, so please, help me out.

People think this is a nerf to DS?!

New DS "nerf" is going to drop her a tier or two due to it completely making her "web" play obsolete until you eat the DS.Thankyou for making my day. I needed a good laugh. The DS change will not have any real effect on someone who plays Hag properly. If there is any effect at all, the 1 second reduction in stun will be in her favor, and knowing when it will happen is in any killer’s favor.
Downing the unhooker, and then downing the unsafely unhooked will move DS to a different point in time, but it doesn’t change anything. If I get DS’d, I can chase them 1 second sooner than I currently can, and thus down them sooner. However, in this cenario, DS should truly be disabled, as I am not tunneling. I downed another survivor first.

Legions are literally teaching kids that DC is more than a state ;3
-
But it will be enabled, and it will effect you, even with (mega eye roll) "proper" play in your proposed scenario.
Hrrrmmmmm - Thank you for making my day. I needed a good laugh

If you think free escapes from the old DS are bad...
-
The answer to your question is discussed many times in the preceding posts.
-
DS is going to be a staple now, much like Self-Care.
I'd imagine it will have a similar pick rate. -
You're literally going to have to start tunneling and eating DS early in order to remove people earlier / have any hope of doing well in the endgame.
Much like the BBQ (indirect) nerf, this will have the exact opposite effect of the intended one.
-
Not tunneling (eating DS) early game literally leads to the OP endgame scenario.Oooooof said:just don't tunnel? lol
Unless you mean not to tunnel endgame:
"Go, my friend, the doors are open! Enjoy your free escape!"
-
I can't wait for all the complaint threads once the PTB starts

^^^^^
Agreed.
If you're judging people as toxic for just playing within the rules of the game and using what's allowed, it's a "you" issue. -
"Nerf" >_>
Weird way of saying ENDGAME MEGABUFF
-
-
Just chainsaw camp people on the first hook ;3

Can you explain this?MhhBurgers said:@Raccoon said:
It's going to feel very rewarding to down a BT survivor in the Endgame, wasting more than enough time for a gate to be opened, only to be unable to hook them due to DS.Maybe they'll go down more than a minute away from the gates, but I know that I, personally, will be sticking around the gate area in such scenarios to guarantee my escape.
I'm actually having a hard time understanding how people can't see this combo becoming the new Endgame meta, especially since it's way harder to counter/prevent than vanilla DS.
Because endgame will happen less like this.
The new DS prevents multiple hooks in a row, increasing the chances that:
1). The game reaches Endgame.
2). DS is not burned. -

Ah, so you let the survivor run free to open the gate/escape in the Endgame, where your actions, such as ignoring the unhooked, carry the most weight in the entire match.
Solid advice.
-
Please tell me how to counter multiple survivors saving DS usages (post nerf) for the Endgame. Bonus points if you can tell me how to do so off of a Borrowed Time save.FireHazard said:@Raccoon said:
It's literally getting Mega Buffed.Every game will have 4 DS now to "stop tunneling."
I'd suggest getting used to hearing "Ugh" and restarting the chase.
Also make sure you get used to being placed in literally unwinnable situations in the endgame

Did you even read the DS nerf?

@Raccoon only if you tunnel the player who isn’t obsession by default.Dying Light is active for 3 hooks max, assuming you don't tunnel anyone once it's active and that each survivor is running DS (which they will - it will define the new meta).
-
Whenever I see 4 toolboxes, the entity's getting at least 3 of them, while i collect a few faces.
-
@TreemanXD
The new DS will protect them from bad unhooks and make them unkillable in the endgame if they opt to save it.
#MEGABUFFED -
NOED is one of the only ways for a killer to make a comeback during the Endgame if 3+ survivors are remaining.
It's their only 2nd Chance Perk, afaik.
-
Once people see for themselves how strong the new DS is in the endgame, EVERYONE will start running NOED out of necessity.
-
Literally laughed at the first few posts.
-
I just wanna say that I appreciate the time everyone takes to reply to my topics.

-
It's way more time effective to just camp people out of the game on the first hook if you think they're running DS, instead of setting yourself up for a guaranteed escape scenario in the endgame.
Without the initial Obsession indicator, I'm just going to be forced to assume everyone is running DS after its mega-buff. -
DS is hella buffed.
-
This is a HUGE buff.
Anyone that says otherwise has no game sense, particularly with regards to the endgame.
-
Dying Light is already so niche that I'm pleasantly surprised when I face it.
Free escape + returning to normal action speed = sensible, haha. -
This rework is very poor on several levels.
"I hate seeing the Obsession marker, but at least i know when instant DS is coming...it is the unknown DS users that really suck."
Devs - Hold my drink!
*makes it harder to secure midgame kills in an already fast meta, while setting up guaranteed endgame escapes if the killer is already doing poorly/survivors are coordinated enough to save their DS to compliment their endgame BT saves, all the while denying killer access to knowing whether DS is in play and neutering most Obsession perks on both sides*
**returns and slams drink**
I guess this is the start of the Enduring meta
-
SCREW YOUR HALL PASS!
-
Can't use DS if they never leave the first hook ;3
-
Ah, another reason to make sure everyone only gets one hook.
Thanks for your faces in advance

On a serious note:
Dying LightThe active Obsession has the altruistic action speed bonus while they are alive.
If the active Obsession is killed, Dying Light's de-buff is applied to all remaining survivors.
If, at some point in the trial, another player becomes the Obsession, Dying Lights de-buff will be removed as the Obsession is considered alive again.lololololololololol

This topic seems to be changing into an incoherent mess.
O_O
-
I guess the resolution and/or discussion of this issue has been abandoned by the developers.
Color me "surprised." -
Did a discussion about this ever take place?
-
Hatch remains as is but:
Killer gets 2000 BP / Survivor gets 5000 BP
Killer gets 1/2 the emblem points for a sacrifice upon a hatch escape.
Survivor gets half the emblem points for an escape upon a hatch escape. -
I think you need to use the word "idiot" more to really strike home how toxic these terrible campers are.
Shame on them for killing you! -
Nice
-
You're chastising people for not starting games if they see something they don't like in the lobby because they "should play the lobby unless someone has a bad connection," but you're willing to quit and ruin their game if you experience something completely normal and fine that happens during regular gameplay because...you don't like it >_>;;
It's pretty ironic and hypocritical.
I hope you are being sincere when you say it no longer happens often

-
Do you still D/C to give the hatch?
-
2/10
-
You may not have the lingo down, but you sure do have "posting redundant topics on the forums," "letting your feelies get in the way of better understanding the game," "being toxic and disrespectful to your peers," and "being full of contradictions in your posting history" down pretty good.
Good Job

-
If you want to ban people for playing however they want in a legitimate manner, this game is not for you and you should probably move on.
