I'd like to know this as well.

Your understanding of the 2x BP event is incorrect.
It is not BP * 2
It is simply another +100% modifier

Dude, chill. They're trying something new and recording the results. They'll make adjustments if there's enough data to support it. Just wait. Bring it up to the devs during the live stream on Thursday.
Recording the results of... what, exactly? How many migraines they cause?

I got one about an hour ago, but it was against a rank 19 doctor i somehow matched against

Wouldn't say bloodpoints are hard-earned. Especially on the killer side. If I use bbq and chilli I will always get at least 50k from the game with no offering. Not to mention. These insta-down hatchets are quite common. They are called ultra-rare but then explain why I got 16 of them going from level 1-50 when I am not prestige with her.
I do think that skeleton keys are not toxic. But they are op. There is a difference. I don't think insta-down hatchets are toxic but they are op. Toxic is teabagging as a survivor. Or constantly clicking your flashlight. Or watching someone bleed-out meanwhile nodding at them, or mori spamming them. Too many people throw around toxic when it is not toxic. Skeleton keys are op not toxic.
Rainbow maps for me are actually quite rare. I usually don't get 1 of them when levelling a survivor from level 1-50. I do get keys but not rainbow maps. On the otherhand as stated I get a ton of insta-down hatchets.
So we agree, you just want to be contradictory. Bloodpoints with or without BBQ need to be earned -- they are not just given away for purchasing the game.

Waited 15 mins before I found a PC killer lobby.

Ghosty is SS+ tier atm. Stop crying that he's only gonna be better than 12 killers instead of 14.

I have to agree with @AetherBytes. Even though the bloodweb must be made easier to go through, this will feel like a terrible grind for good addons for killers.
I agree. Killers need addons to really shine (especially lower tier ones)

This killed release reminds me of Freddy's release. Nerfed during release into trash tier. However Ghostface seemed really good in the PTB. Ugh. My best friend and I were so excited for him too. :(
He's literally SS+ tier atm, the nerf's only taking him down to SS tier.
-
@AetherBytes said:
@QwrtyMan213 actually, this would increase the grind to find things you'd like.
The goal is to get through bloodwebs as fast as possible -- thus, less expensive items are preferred.

I like how ppl downvoting my posts without argumentation even. Can you name me information which SWF tell to each other that is so crucial that it is even gamebreaking for Killer?
P.S. Yet another downvote even on this post :D Well, you can't ask too much from kids when analitical thinking involved :D

You won't have anyone to kill. I'm not playing a multiplayer game that penalizes me for playing with friends. Enjoy the long lobby times.
You won't be missed. DBD has 20k daily players.

Thank god if it was, the grind in this game NEEDS to come down.
-
One cracker per web, one offering like every 5-6 webs

@GrootDude said:
@QwrtyMan213 that doesn’t stop gen rush against good survivors.
Nothing ever does. It's better than going in naked and praying you shock them all to tier 3 before the first gen tho

The goal with this VFX was to provide more visual feedback and make stuns consistent and understandable. I've talked with Designers and they confirmed that we adjusted the VFX to lessen the impact on players. The live version has a lighter VFX than the PTB version. We'll keep a close eye on that one and I invite you to keep on giving feedback.
There's already a stun animation, a stun penalty, the camera shifts down, and you make a loud noise. How is this not enough?
-
@GrootDude said:
@FrenziedRoach how do you stop gen rush with him?
Ruin. Like every other non-Nurse/Billy/Spirit/Hag killer

I've gotten one every Blood-web so that's a first to me.
Regardless, its still useful to shorten weeks even months of grinding.
Weeks? Months? Using 50 of those things is probably like 4 days of solid gameplay. How many of these do you think we are getting? They show up once every 5-6 bloodwebs.
-
EZ, Ghostface is so OP now, anyone with two brain cells can win as him. At least until they make the detection radius bigger than a pixel in the center.
-
As soon as they add separate solo/SWF queues, this will be a good idea.
-
Both the % debuffs seem really overpowered, but I like the idea.
-
Rank is irrelevant and is detrimental to enjoyment of the game.
-
Playing killer is definitely much more stressful & unfun compared to survivor.
-
It's a bug--they confirmed it last week.
-
It's bannable only if you yourself are glitching to be the second killer.
-
Yeah, it's pretty crazy.

then name a better solution?
Not my problem. I'm not the one advocating to punish innocent people.
-
I just wish there was a way to sell useless items/offerings back for bloodpoints.
-
We don't know anything about the endgame changes. Maybe they won't be so bad?
-
Hear hear.
-
Most people wanted a rework, not a neutering.
-
The entire ranking system honestly needs to be reworked. There should be end-of-season ranking rewards at the minimum.
-
I honestly don't know why people think using the add-ons you PAY for with your hard-earned bloodpoints is somehow toxic. Imagine if people thought Rainbow Maps and Skeleton keys were toxic?
-
Imagine thinking that this massive nerf to an already bad killer is a reason for celebration.
-
I know it's early but since it's rework time and we know what is coming I wanted to make a little suggestion.
This idea has been posted before and I'll say it again: this is a great idea.

@JawKnight said:
If the survivor dcs during a mori, after the mori is done the killer gets the points the survivor had and 5000 more bloodpoints.
They actually only get 625 for a DC.
-
@goat10em said:
Look at the bright side everyone. At least freddy got a buff. He is no longer the most worthless killer in the game.
We don't actually know that yet. His rework hasn't been released.

@adamn said:
30 minute cool down for each dc whether killer or survivor. would be a good fix
Then what happens if you lose connection, like if you have a spotty connection. That's insanely punishing to people who don't live in a major city (ie over 50% of humans)
-
Arguably, it's OK to leave a survivor on the hook until the last second -- if a gen is almost done, someone needs healing, etc. They DO have 60 seconds. However, unless the killer is camping, I can't imagine leaving someone to die on the hook.
-
This is actually the first Chucky idea I've ever seen that wasn't a pipe dream. Good job!
-
I'd argue that survivor DCs are far more harmful to the game than killer DCs. With killer DC, you can at least move onto the next game. With survivior DCs, you're stuck in a game, one man down, doomed to minimal bloodpoints and the loss of whatever you brought in anyway.

Welcome to the life of a Legion main:
You'll see here that we have plenty of DC'd bodies in that corner of the room and in the other corner, all of our add-ons and offerings that were wasted.
What a constant mood. I swear I've never finished a single legion game without getting at least one DC.

They only occur during events/special dates.
The next one should be in July, assuming they have another Summer BBQ event.

I understand completely. This is just a general idea of how they could go about it if they had a way to tell the difference between bad connections and disconnects. Bad connections and game crashes should never be punished since the player has no control over it. Rage quit disconnections do need to be punished for the reasons I stated above.
Oh, I completely agree with you--people who purposefully DC are ruining the game for everyone else in that round. There needs to be a way to punish them.

Go for David.
Dead hard, probably the best exhaustion perk.
WGLF cuts down the grind so much, especially for new players.
No mither is a joke.
Ash for MoM. But it's kind of situational, depends which killer you get and it might be hard baiting m1 hits as a new player.
Jake for Iron Will, it good and very underrated.
Also BBQ is currently in the shrine, I'd recommend you grab it to help you cut down the grind.
I'd honestly wait for MoM to come up in the shrine--Ash's other perks are not very good.

I thought M&B's FOV was permanent, it was just the terror radius that fluctuated? Did not know that.
From the perk's description:
"While in a Chase, your Terror Radius is increased by 8 metres.
Otherwise, your Terror Radius is decreased by 8 metres and your Field of View is increased by 3/5/10 °."
The wording is a little confusing on it, but you can see the meaning--when not in chase, FOV is increased AND TR is decreased. If you pay attention, you can actually see your FOV shrink as soon as the "Survivor Found" score event comes up.

Legion should not have this as a power, in my opinion. It just doesn't seem like the right role for them.
Many people have proposed a killer that disguises themselves in the past, but everyone always responds with the same damn thing: "This killer would be weak against SWF."
Regardless, I would still want a killer that can do this. It'd probably be called "The Doppelganger" or something like that. Plus, there's many ways for a killer like this to be made in just the right way that it is actually viable. People simply dismiss ideas too quickly without thinking about the possibilities first.
Because it would be like playing wraith without invisibility -- literally just an m1. SWF would nullify his only ability. Maybe if they added separate queues for SWF and solo, but unless they do, this killer will only be a figment of our imaginations, as cool as it would be.
-
Shadowborn's FOV bonus is permanent, while M&B's bonus only applies out-of-chase. This leads to shadowborn users getting juked less during chase, which can be outrageously helpful if you've got low framerates (such as on console).
Plus, flashlights are honestly not that common.
