Rework Legion with a DISGUISE power

I feel sad about my money going down the drain, and i thought maybe i could help with an idea (for the future ofc). Legion was, is, and will be a bland and boring AF killer, so i believe adjusting numbers is not the answer.
Do you know the Spy from Team Fortress 2 ? He has the ability to disguise himself as a player from both the ally team, or a player from the enemy team. And when he does, he looks 100% like that player (cosmetics and everything)
Giving legion a disguise ability, to look exactly like a survivor, and maybe even fake repairing generators, gives the possibility of a lot of mind games from the killers perspective, like faking being injured and going to other survivors to get healed, they fall for it and then u go stabby stabby.
BUT this would also benefit survivors, and give them fresh new gameplay material. They will have to play AROUND this killer, meaning being more preemptive, more scared, maybe even get jumpscared, instead of just having to run around looping and not get M1'd.
Spirit, myers, hag and piggy jumpscare people pretty well, why not add more killers like this? I love jumpscares in this game.
And as a final thought, if somehow you people decide to take this idea, guess what, you already have the trailer resembling this idea. (David running with the legion without him knowing he's the killer, then getting stabby'd)
EDIT:
- a succesfull backstab while disguised would mean an insta-down for a survivor
- when he attacks, he reveals his model (his true self)
- no terror radius while disguised
- SWF already have an advantage over all killers, especially when trying to be competitive

Your feedback is to essentially delete the entire killer and create a new one and thus belongs in the trash
Why rework Legion into that when they could just at some point make this it's own killer?
This would instantly lose to SWF though, just as spy doesn't actually work in competitive TF2.
Legion should not have this as a power, in my opinion. It just doesn't seem like the right role for them.
Many people have proposed a killer that disguises themselves in the past, but everyone always responds with the same damn thing: "This killer would be weak against SWF."
Regardless, I would still want a killer that can do this. It'd probably be called "The Doppelganger" or something like that. Plus, there's many ways for a killer like this to be made in just the right way that it is actually viable. People simply dismiss ideas too quickly without thinking about the possibilities first.
Because it would be like playing wraith without invisibility -- literally just an m1. SWF would nullify his only ability. Maybe if they added separate queues for SWF and solo, but unless they do, this killer will only be a figment of our imaginations, as cool as it would be.

i remember when i played TF2 with my friends, and a spy disguised as one of us, and no one noticed anything fishy and we just got buttstabbed.
But anyway, it would be 10 times better than just M1 like a braindead
And OFC swf will have an advantage, they already do over everything.

You could easily counter a disguise with the common sense to avoid survivors. SWF totally shits all over the power too.
Maybe as new killer would be fine but with more buff
Imagine killer can drop pallet while disguise
(That would be sick)
