All three of those perks suck or are meh. No, we don't need to nerf any of them.
-
I'd like a killer with no origin. A being that you have no idea what world or place it came from sounds badass to me.
-
I think it should be just get a 4k, then it'd be good. On some killers like Plague, Pyramid Head, and Bubba, getting a merciless is almost impossible.
-
In a couple of months it'll probably appear in the store.
-
As a straight man, I will gladly take any male survivor in the game over Meg. Get that smooth brain, 5-head, billboard-brow away from me.
-
What
-
Lisa, all the way. Even my shadow demon is scarred of Cybil's face.
-
I actually kind of like this. I'd teak some things, but I'll take a new game mode in anyway I can.

But, it won't affect killer, because, the hook still count like, the guy get unhooked, cuz its counting (if killer out the range) and still the same. It just won't ruin the surviviors gameplay
What do you mean it "won't affect killer"? Survivors would just run to the hook when they're being chased to prevent their friend from dying. As I said, the devs already made a system like this and survivors abused it. Not to mention, if the killer knows that multiple survivors are in the area and are going to save, they literally just have to let them for no consequence. I'm sorry, but this idea is just horrible.
-
That's a fantastic way to kill the game.
The devs already tried an idea like this in the past, and survivors abused the hell out of it.
-
Survivor:
Ash: I love both the Evil Dead movies and show.
Quentin: He's a sleepy boi that everyone makes fun of.
Cheryl: She's pretty cute in my opinion, and from what I understand about Silent Hill lore, she's also a good person.
Killer:
Legion: They were the character that got me interested in dbd in the first place. Their fast paced play style is one I like a lot. It's also funny to me how many survivors underrate them.
Michael: I'm a very big Halloween fan, and Michael was also the other character that got me into the game. His versatility in the way someone can play him is one of the biggest reasons I like him more than Ghostface.
Aside from those two, I play almost every other killer, but I mainly play Pyramid Head, Freddy, Wraith, and Billy.
-
Seeing as how her green sets are linked for some reason, no, we'll probably never get a pair of un-linked pants for her.
-
People like you ruin the game. Stop killing yourself and ######### over your teammates because you don't like Freddy.

Explain to me why killers have such an issue with Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable. Dead hard doesn’t even work a lot of the times and is easily predictable, most survivors don’t use DS as an. Aggressive perk just to prevent tunneling, unbreakable isn’t a big issue either. But then again I am a Spirit main so I’ve never cared about most perks
- Although I dislike them, I only hate Ds and Ub when they're paired together.
- The problem with Dead Hard, is that when it's used for distance it has no counter. Which is why I hate it so much. You can always tell when a survivor is going to use it, but as I said if they use it for distance, you can't do anything about it.

....
Just wait.
Seriously, dead hard is the weakest exhaustion perk against everyone except Nurse. At best, it's on par with head-on. It doesn't help you at all in 99.9% of situations if the killer knows you have it. And if you're not an ass killer, you'll just assume the survivor does have it.
All it really does is force you to not lunge. If you get in tapping range, they're #########. And don't start with the "dead hard for distance" bullshit. That would be the 0.1% of situations. Not only do you have to be ahead of the killer already enough to get use out of it, you have to be completely out of their lunge range, too, otherwise they can just lunge into the pallet/window with your deadhard and still down you. And in that 0.1% of situations, it bought you no more time than sprint burst would have in the first place.
It's literally only meta because it's such a strong anti-nurse perk. Nurse doesn't have the option to avoid it like other killers, so it essentially gives you a third health state against her. If Nurse never existed, Dead Hard wouldn't be meta. That and there's probably a psychological aspect to it tapping a button on demand makes you feel more "involved" in using it.
If you're crying about "Dead Hard", you really do just need to get good.
What planet are you living on?

blight would be his apprentice
What about Oni?
-
Don't forget Blight. Him and Billy could deliver pizzas together!
-
I hate this map a fair bit, but I have other maps I would rather be changed before it. So for now, no.
-
Why the devs ever thought the overheat mechanic was a good idea is beyond me. Also, get rid of that stupid roar.
-
Bold of you to actually want to play them in the first place.
-
Why every week or two does someone always make a thread like this?
Uhhh, I guess Cheryl and Quentin because they look like they'd jive with each other and I main both of them.
-
As a Legion (Frank) and Myers main, you are correct.
-
I want to eat the salt.
-
Dead Hard is a stupid ass perk, but I think there are far better ways to nerf it than this.
-
Should we just remove Myers and Ghostface from the game while we're at it?
-
I pity your poor soul for having to do that one Nurse achievement to blink and grab someone.
-
Uh no, no he doesn't.

The idea of object of obsession is for the two to always see each other when looking in the same direction. Why change this perk after 3+ years? The current version I see nothing wrong with it as it fits its niche very well. A high risk high reward perk for good survivors. Once again, you are drastically weakening a perk because of killers view the perk as powerful when it is not. This change seems to once again be to appease killers with no benefit to survivor.
Instead of nerfing survivor perks, they should be buffed if anything. The state of the game is dismal for the survivor side. Killers have extremely powerful perks that tilt the game massively in their favor, most of which shows the auras of survivors constantly and you are nerfing a perk where the downside of using it is exactly the upside.
Don't change the perk.
Of course you'd be the one to claim OoO was "niche" and didn't need to be nerfed.
-
I'm surprised at the amount of people I've heard saying "DeAd HaRD hAs So MaNY coUntErs". The entire reason why people complain about Dead Hard is because when you use it for distance, it has no counter. It's literally pressing a button to completely erase your mistake. Also, the fact you can use it to get over Trappers traps is bullshit.

Nah I was seeing 4 DHs per game before this tome
Same.
-
Survivor: Ash, Quentin, Cheryl.
Killer: Legion, Michael, Bubba, but I play almost every killer.
-
I think Pyramid Head would win. The two seem similar in strength, but from what I understand about Silent Hill lore, Pyramid Head feeds off of negative emotions, which I assume Kanzan has a lot of.
-
I prefer killer, but I still play a good amount of survivor.
-
Damn bro, that was a funny joke. It was so funny I forgot to laugh.
-
He needs it. badly. When I play Blight on console, it feels like I'm the one ramming my face into walls.

It wasn’t disingenuous at all. Capcom reinvented RE with the seventh instalment as dramatically as the fourth was a departure from the games previous to that one. It was becoming too action focused in 5 & 6, losing a lot of the fear, dread, and most importantly, the claustrophobia. 7 brought RE back to those roots. In fact many argue, myself included, that RE7 has more in common with RE1 than any other RE game having anything in common with RE1.
It seems the formula they used in RE7 resonated well around the globe because RE8 is going to be an even FURTHER departure still from RE games before 7. RE8 has more buzz around it right now than any other RE game ever.
Exactly.
-
I just want a snack to eat while I watch this game burn.
-
No I agree with you, I hate Dead Hard more that D-strike.
-
+1
-
Spirit, hands down.
-
I've found my people, at last.
Real talk, RE7 is the RE game that would fit dbd the most imo.

I ain't reading all that
I'm assuming you're mad tho
TLDR: Killer is easy, only survivors get nerfed, Buuba, Doc, and Clown didn't need to be buffed, streamers post winstreaks, killers win 99% of games.
This is pretty much all this guy posts about.
-
You act like killers have never been nerfed before in the entirety dbd's history.
-
Please, I just want Cheryl to be able to wear jeans and a sweater at the same time.
-
Deathslinger. The guy literally has a gun. He's pretty smart, all he has to do is get actual ammo instead of a spear. Or he could get an older model of his gun, because The Redeemer's earlier versions were lethal.
That tome was the biggest example of plot armor I've ever seen. The solider's just ran at her like smooth-brained idiots instead of using their guns. Also, nothing in the tomes are concrete. They're memories, and events that took place in other timelines. So that scene where Huntress kills the soldier's was probably not very accurate, or it took place in an alternate universe.
-
Compared to playing killer? Yeah survivor is easier.

But....what if John dies?
Then it will be a very sad day.
-
Ah yes, calling someone else's build cringy simply because you don't like it. Fantastic.
What's the deal? That build isn't even good. As a Legion main, I would only run that if I'm trying to meme.

Yes, Bob wasn't a small dude and he got lifted up one-handed I think.
Also, it's literally written into the Halloween universe that Michael physically can't die, because John Carpenter signed a contract that prevents him from dying. I'm pretty sure it's still around today, so until John revokes it, Michael isn't allowed to die.
