Sure sounds like cheating to me, just like with stretched res. Not this many people would be doing it if it "just makes the game feel better" or whatever.

I hope I… we end up pleasantly surprised
The overwhelming need to have every perk in the game…
Honestly I probably will use Forever Entwined with Fire Up just for the memes

wait, unknown can shoot through holes? I almost never play it lol
Some, yeah. It's definitely hard to do though because his UVX bounces.
-
I'll get him for the perks and the adept, but after that I'll probably never play him.

Yes, but his range is not actually too long. You have more chsnces to actually snipe someone with artist than with deathslinger.
Yeah, that's true. I guess I just always thought of him as one because he can shoot through such small obstacles. Then again Unknown and Trickster can do the same.
-
Yeah, I genuinely don't know what they were thinking with Vlad's Ring. All it does is make your power weaker.
-
Always sad to see a license leave.
Pinhead has certainly been a controversial edition to DbD, and while I can't say I really played him all that much, I really enjoy the Hellraiser franchise and the unique macro-style gameplay the Lament Configuration brought to the table.

When I first got the game, the first thing I did was to purchase the Silent Hill DLC and played only Pyramid Head. But dude's power is weak and it was frustrating. Probably after 50 hours (close to 57, because I remember that as thr first time I had enough shards to buy a new character) I started using Huntress. In FPS games I normally play snipers, it's my favorite thing, and Huntress being a ranged killer fit nice. I was completely sold when I got the first mori. And, well, hitting people from afar is always fun :)
Huh, I've always considered Deathslinger to be more of a sniper. Do you play him at all?
-
Congratulations! Getting a P100 is no easy feat!
What made you first pick up Huntress and stick with her?
-
I'd say Wesker and Kaneki.
I've always despised Wesker and his introduction into this game, and Kaneki just looks incredibly boring to me.

I already listed the countless examples and references in her lore that point to it. It’s quite literally impossible for her to be a human.
- The soldiers in her lore call her a Bodark -
Humans have always mislabeled things they don't understand as monsters. That's how so many myths and folktales were created.
- She has black eyes (Bodarks have black eyes)
Many killers have black eyes. Such as Clown, Artist, and Bubba. It's a sign of the Entity's influence.
- The Blighted outfit is her transforming into a Bodark (blighted serum is stated to bring out what you really are)
Yes the serum brings out the worst in you, hence why it makes Huntress more animalistic, but that's not indicative that she was a werewolf before injection. It doesn't state that she is becoming a Bodark or were-creature in the outfit's description.
- Werewolf charm for her says “a disguise that fits her too well”
I haven't seen that charm so I can't comment on it well, but it's also just a charm. Not really the finest piece of lore if you ask me, but still, I'll give it to you.
- Superhuman feats (running through flamethrower, killing platoons of soldiers, grizzly bear
Many killers commit superhuman acts in their lore. There's no way that Trapper and Nurse could feasibly kill so many people for instance. Either it's Behavior's exaggerated storytelling, or the Entity assisting them. It doesn't mean that Huntress is a Bodark.
- Survived in the forest as a kid (literally impossible for a normal human child)
There have been many stories of people doing just this though? It's certainly not easy sure, but Huntress wasn't just dropped in the forest as an infant, she was given training by her mother.
- Hooked on You has references to it
I haven't played Hooked On You or seen much about, but it's also a goofy spin-off where killers are running around in swimsuits. Once again, not the finest place to get lore from in my opinion, but I'll take your word for it.
I'm not saying that Behavior hasn't made some small pokes and winks to Huntress being a werewolf, but it's not mentioned at all in her original lore and clearly was not their intention when creating the character. I am genuinely not trying to come off as rude in anyway, but I think this is something that people are only believing in to make Huntress seem "cooler" and more modern.
-
I'm very confused about this whole "Huntress is a werewolf" thing I've seen recently. Nothing about her lore, appearance, or power hints at her being some kind of were-creature. If anything, I think that actually undermines her character. She's supposed to a skilled survivalist and hunter living off the land who takes trinkets and trophy's from her pray, slowly forgetting her childhood and humanity overtime, not some supernatural monster that kills everything in sight. While she does have the Wereelk skin, nothing about it states that it's Ana, and seeing how it has a male voice, I seriously doubt it's her. I believe it's meant to be the Entity's twisted personification of the elk that killed her mother.
That aside, I am surprised we haven't gotten a wereworlf killer yet, since it's such classic horror concept. The Blight is thematically very similar to one, but I still think there's quite a lot of room for an actual werewolf. When/if they do make one, however, I hope it's not connected to Huntress at all and is instead it's own unique character.
-
I agree. There are still so many interesting concepts for killer powers that haven't been done before, yet Behavior seems intent on just giving us more dash/projectile killers. I guess i can't blame them too much, since most of the community eats it up, but it's still personally disappointing to see.
-
Yeah, as soon as I saw the rework announced I knew Pixelbush would give his thoughts. I think he hit the nail on the head with how bad this rework is going to be if it goes through. Both because the last thing we need right now is yet another dash killer, and two because it completely changes her playstyle and is not thematic to her character at all. It's the same thing that happened to Freddy way back when.
-
First mains: Legion, Freddy, Myers, and Dwight
Current mains: Freddy, Legion, Pig, and I don't really know for survivor, still trying find one
Favorite map: Wrecker's Yard
Favorite Perk: Fire Up/Weave Attunement
Favorite item: Toolbox
Favorite chapter: Darkness Among Us
How many p100s?: Only Freddy, I don't know who I'll go for next
Hours: 4,000ish I think?
-
Without a doubt Nurse.
-
Judging by the tome lore, I'm convinced there are two writers working for Behavior. One who is trying their hardest to create complex and interesting stories with the lore they're handed, and other being some random guy they hired off the street who has no idea what he's doing.
-
Don't engage with or do drugs, but I'd take the chance to hang out with Steve, Laurie, Quentin, Twins, Artist, and Sadako.
-
Example Number 12,309 of Twins getting ######### over by something.

Let's be fair though, some of the replies in here are joke responses, and they are quite funny.
Well of course. I've laughed quite a few times at some of them.
-
I like reading these threads and seeing people who think they can unironically take on any of the killers in this game.
-
She needs a break from being in the game.
-
Every day my hatred for Feng grows.
-
Yeah, honestly this is the first time in awhile that I've been really excited for a chapter.
-
I haven't been able to personally play it, but from everything I've seen it looks absolutely awesome.
-
It sucked then and it sucks now.

Watch MOJO. Definitely
I mean, at least this one has Nurse and Spirit in S tier.
-
Jesus, I can't tell which is worse. This, or the WatchMoJo one.
-
Trickster for me. Controller is ass ):
-
Unless it's something unconventional like Deathslinger's harpoon gun, no, I don't think they should be in the game. This isn't CoD.
-
Controller in general sucks for DbD. They really need to give it some improvements.
-
Hmm, for me it'd probably be Scooby Doo.
And to comment about a DDLC chapter, as a massive fan of that game, yeah, I wouldn't want it in DbD either. Monika definitely isn't a killer, and I don't know how she would work as a survivor either, considering she's aware that she's in a video game. Not to mention the giant difference of art styles and the like.
-
Looks like everyone is Morbin' a little too hard.

Well I'm sorry but I actually want good content from DBD's RE since I love RE but all I've gotten is the characters being butchered sloppily right in front of me because people can't understand how to get the simplest characters right when they've gotten more complex characters right. I doubt people will be happy once their favorite license is possibly massacred by DBD. Alien will come in where he infects someone with his inner mouth instead of a face hugger or something stupid like that. That's what they did to RE.
Mate, how many times do people have to tell you that characters are never going to 100% accurate to their source material. Nemesis was never going to get his flamethrower or rocket launcher and Wesker was not going to have a gun because they don't fit the theme of the game.
-
Me watching the devs make the most ass achievements to ever be created.
-
Jesus dude, give it a rest. It's clear that the mods are even starting to get fed up.

But atleast freddy has the teleport and a chance to use his ability.
What does a trapperless trapper have? Guile? Cunning? Just walk away?
let's petition BHVR to introduce the lord humungus trapper skin.
Trappers traps are very useful though, the only problem is that they take awhile to set up. Freddy's pallets can be set up rather fast, but they do little to nothing. Not to mention at least Trapper has some good add-on's, while Freddy's all suck and he can only use one because dream pallets already take up a slot.
-
I'm not too big a fan of Scott, but I do think he's right about this one. Pallet Freddy is definitely one of the worst killers in the game if you ask me. Hell, even normal Freddy isn't that good.

I mean, he broke a car's window with a single hit of his hand. He's far from being average.
That's the point. He has unnatural strength because he's not human. To me, it's far scarier seeing an average looking dude hold you up with one hand and pin you to the wall than seeing a buff guy do it.
-
Rin: I'll have two number 9's, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45's, one with cheese, and a large soda.
-
Yeah, not only does he look kinda derpy, but he doesn't look like Myers in the first Halloween. He's far too tall and muscular, while Myers in the movies is pretty physically average looking. Also I'd really wish they'd get rid of that dumb grunt he does when you stun him.

In all fairness, I feel like Console has it the worst with these kinds of things, like the more I look at it, the more I feel depressed as a Console player...
- No Keyboard and Mouse Support (so forced to use Controller)
- Basically No Useful Controller Settings + Handicapped Because Of Awful Game Design
- Performance Issues Constantly
- No Post-Game Chat
- Delayed Inputs (Wireless Controller)
- Constant Bugs And Issues (Such As The Lobby Disconnect Bug)
As a console player, yeah, it's rough. The best part though is that you can't even switch to PC because there's no cross-progression.
-
I mean, I prefer more simplistic outfits, so this doesn't really bother me, but I still think your idea would be good because it would please other players.

It's Wesking time!
