I don't see any point of implementing that into the game...
What's the reason?
Also, lvl 50 bloodwebs take around 20-50k to level through, not 100k... , that's not the release version of a bloodweb. -

That's DS area of balancing.
Never it should be repeated. All that need to be changed is reduced counter effect of ADAD spamming, that negates wiggling random movement. Introducing another 2nd chance effects for survivors is, for sure, not needed.

For me a complete character is when you have P3 and all perks unlocked on them.
P0 -> P3 is just a way I need to go through if I want to play said character in any meaningful way (that's why Myers is only at 40 since his release, ######### this boring ochido emblem).

Ohh and it will cause more gen rush.
SWF will equip this and the survivor on the hook will tell the others to keep doing gens. He will unhook himself right before struggling. No need to leave the gen to unhook. That's the problem with SWF, not the perk itself.

You will see them when DLC comes out.
No achievements yet. -
As I said in an another topic about said perk:

Honestly, when I think about it, it doesn't change much.
They will be unhooked on their first stage anyway as soon as I leave the hook.
They are debuffed for some time, thus they cannot be instantly healed with We'll make it nor with Borrowed Time. The only time it can be an issue when you slug few people, hook one and get another one and they kobe... well, it did happen multiple times with a RNG kobe, it wasn't much of an issue in most cases and will be even less with it.
Perk isn't as bad as DS, so no worries, it won't see meta plays, at least not as much as SB, SC or DS.
Honestly, all perks of the new survivor are... meh.

Why not read the patch notes instead?
-
There are two solutions for your problem that already exist in this game.
First:
Don't run sprint burst if you cannot cope with its "limitations" (... limitations... rofl, yea...whatever).Second:
Another way to stop someone from healing you use to use gestures. -
I assume You are a P3 Claudette main?

Fast vaulting without QaQ outside a chase is dumb. THE ENDAs I said, it is a risk. Not a reason to prevent that to happen. Besides, people will only do that with Quick & Quiet, or when they are sure they're not nearby the killer at all.
Not on PS4. The rank 20’s don’t even know there’s a run button... ever seen a Dwight spin in terror then slowly inch away?
Awful argument.
What does total newbies have to do with a game mechanic that is known by average players?
Never ever balance the game around total newbies.Removal of chase requirement for Lithe wouldn't be an awful change. Chase mechanic by itself is extremely, so less things we have attached to "While in a chase" the better game we have.

I will be happy if the killer will be more viable than the last ones viable...

I'm sure every survivor does play solo time to time but obviously you're only going to moan about it when they're "harder" lol. People dodge 2 man swfs it's getting ridiculous. SWF came out a month after the games release - swf has been around almost as long as the game has - if you're still not good at competing against it, stop competing or get better.
thats a lot of trash talking coming from someone who is too scared to play killer at all. Ok

exactly, which is why your hilariously biased and inexperienced opinion is laughable and discarded. IT's funny that you lie on a forum to try and prove a point, I hit rank one every season, except this one because I've not played since rank reset. Also, three comments before this (in a different thread) i talk about how the clown is nice to play and shouldn't be nerfed, such a biased player I am. Also, rank one is a joke - anyone can get to it on either side and acting as if it means anything is silly, kind of like bragging about stats on a forum is silly. lie about what? your hilariously bias and inexperienced opinion? you literally only play swf, because you get rekt solo, and youve never been anywhere close to rank1 on killer.
laughable
Wouldn't matter if I had been to rank 1 or not as killer, it's laughably easy to get there.
oh im not saying its hard, im just saying that its too hard for “you”
you cant even get to rank1 survivor without swf to crutch
So... what's the app you were talking about called?

Last I checked, it is no longer whitelisted. That doesn't mean that it's banned, but it's now use at your own risk. When it was whitelisted, you were safe to use it, but now it's fallen back into shady territory. I use italics to put emphasis on stuff. So basically we won't actively hunt you down and ban you for using MLGA. But if EAC starts to detect it and bans you for it, we won't be able to help you. @Lowbei said: Jonathanskilz said:
Is using a 3rd party app that affects the way the game is played, against the rules?
Only if they can detect it. Ha, if.
if they could detect a 3rd party app that affects gameplay, it makes no sense that it wouldnt be blacklisted like all other hacks aka 3rd party apps that affect gameplay. so the logical explanation is that they know they cant detect it, and thus ignore it.
It's detectable. The issue isn't detection. The whole reason why it was originally whitelisted was because it added features that people wanted, and it wasn't too intrusive. At some point more features were added that got into shady territory (stuff developers wouldn't want to actively support), so it was removed from the whitelist. It's still not cheating, it's just not something that would get a seal of approval.
ok so from your post i got the following statements:
bhvr can detect mlga.
it was whitelisted because it added the ping checker in the lobby, despite bhvr currently working on a ping checker of their own. a baffling decision.
mlga then added something considered “shady”, but instead of blacklisting this 3rd party “shady” app that affects gameplay, we simply moved it into the grey area.
“its still not cheating” despite the fact that any other “shady” 3rd party app that affects gameplay is considered cheating, and EAC is set up to catch them.
Its pretty obvious that EAC cannot detect MLGA, and its current grey area is due to there being nothing they can do about it.
It was not cheat related. At one point (not sure if this is still the case) you were able to see the IPs of the people you were playing with. For obvious reasons, this is not something you would want to endorse.
You can still see people's IP addresses and all you need is a tool that Windows comes with (and all other OS probably too), it's the cmd (command prompt) or basically any other tool that monitors your network connections.

And you can enjoy a spicy softban for your efforts.

Seriously, wouldn't recommend you do it, you would be banned for it.
Let's be real.
First of all, survivors (mainly) complains about anything that happens to them. So said issue would be lost in the current spam of reports.
Second, it would be extremely hard to prove it was done on purpose. Besides, using Bond to lose aggro is one of its purposes, intended or not. Game is not a strict team based, other survivors can just be means for you to survive long enough to escape, you don't need to help them in any way.
That is even in the description of the game. -

Depending on platform this can still be an issue. I've had a killer DC after like a minute or so on PS4 since the update and lost a pip, also have had like 20k+ bloodpoints lost due to a killer DC. Its rare but it can still happen.
And i know its true because I use all my bloodpoints, so if its still at < 5000 I know i didnt get them...

Literally the only buff the Pig needs is something to better deal with exhaustion perks. Either something that will cause exhaustion on a survivor without hitting them or something to extend her sprint attack so that it will outlast the survivor's Sprint Burst. (And by outlast, I mean just a second, maybe a second and a half longer so that if a survivor sprint bursts at the same time the pig does, the pig will still get a hit. If the survivor sprints away before the Pig, then the survivor will still get away.)No, exhaustion perks... actually, only sprint burst, needs a rework, as it is the sole issue with ambush based killers or other M1 killers in general. It provides too much crutch power at no cost.

Dark Mist / Fog is only useful for survivors, even for the trapper, the fog doesn't really help at all, as the distance at which you spot traps in the grass is less than 3 meters anyway and fog isn't rendered/shown/obscuring anything at that distance... .
Killer's version of that offering need a total rework in how it works.
It would be a stupid idea to even use that offering as a killer in the first place, it doesn't really help you at all, due to issues you have described.Maybe make it a double edged sword, leaving how it is but also obscuring aura reading abilities, even those inbuilt, especially for survivors, such as a survivor in a dying state or on a hook, basically an offering that causes blindness at X distance.
-
The last thing we need in this game is voice chat.
SWF already has proven how broken VOIP is.If you would know anything about DbD you would understand how stupid your suggestion is.

Simple statistic for you. %70 of games start with 2 SWF. This gives me the right to think that in the vast majority of games there will be 2 SWF.
No guessing needed. I just assume its at least 2 swf and go looking for the 3 or 4th.
Dont even go and pretend that swf are a rare occasion of that they are figments of killlers' imagination. SWF use is in nearly every single game.
That's still an assumption really if 70% of the player base is swf that doesn't mean that 70% of games actually start with 2 ppl. That's a stretch of logic right there since realistically you're making an assumption. While it's probably a valid one without actual data from BHVR which they need to provide so we know more. Also don't try and Red Herring garbage with me it doesn't work.
Also the claim that every sef group is toxic absolute crap and all those claiming it know it but like to make up facts as they go to make their argument look better. There was an MIT study done years ago that proved that online toxicity isn't as rampant in individual peoples games as they believe. In fact games they said were toxic when reviewed actually weren't but because they'd had a bad game the following ones felt the same.
If you want me to make a stat based on it, I can.
I already did that while doing Iron Challenge for Wraith, Leaterface and to some extend on Doctor, where I did indeed count SWF numbers.
They were almost in all games.
Hell, I can go in the game right now and pick 20 games and give you the average number of SWF occurrence and how many of them are in said party at once. -

All they need to do is add a new icon indicating said person is queued in SWF with those people, hell, if you don't want to show who is with whom, just add an icon that THIS person joined this lobby by using "Survive With Friends" option in them main menu.
This gives the killer needed information to adjust their playstyle accordingly and on top of that, informs other survivors in the lobby about existing SWF members that may ditch them and use them for their own gain.
The problem here is if it's 1 solo and 3 swf the killer knows instantly that that 1 person is alone and can focus them down and know the swf is probably going to let them rot. The killer can then focus on the 3 swf people. It'd be better to say that you have some swf people in your lobby but not tell who or how many unless it's a full 4 person premade.
As I said, that solo survivor also gets information about SWF being present in his/her lobby, thus they can act accordingly, either prepare to play a game where they are the only solo one or dodge the lobby and find a proper game instead.
-
No need to add an opt-in option.
No silly debuffs for SWF members and that poor solo player who happens to be in the lobby either.
No bribes (additional BP) for playing with SWF.All they need to do is add a new icon indicating said person is queued in SWF with those people, hell, if you don't want to show who is with whom, just add an icon that THIS person joined this lobby by using "Survive With Friends" option in them main menu.

To the people saying, that adding an opt-in option would kill this game because no one would play with SWF, that single sentence should light a freaking bulb in your head.
If SWF is fine and dandy, why would no killer or no solo survivor would ever want to play with SWF members in their games? -
It will be used every game, as it basically just removes one player ASAP from the game.

Don't listen to anyone telling you that "All join together = SWF", there can actually be a delay between them and all solo survs can also join all together at the same time.
The only way to test for SWF is to go on ones profile, check his friends lists, press CTRL + F (search function) and type in names of people in your lobby.
If there is a single person in the game with a public profile and rest with privates, however he doesn't have any of the other guys on the list, assume they all three are in the SWF.
This process takes around 30 seconds, be aware of the timer however. -

I mean, considering Survivor is a complete cakewalk, even when solo, I'd welcome some actual challenge.
I like this idea.
That's a flawed way of thinking.
It is currently extremely easy, especially with second chance perks. Luckily, some of them are getting addressed. The way it should have been done is to address issues that create power gaps between both sides, in other words nerf certain mechanics for survivors / fix flawed map design on more than half of the maps that allows survivors to run the killer for an extremely long time without much of a threat, etc.
Just buffing certain side to the extreme in case of X is stupidly bad idea.
Not only it implements an unpredictable variable, it doesn't really addresses the core issue it was suggested for, which is SWF on comms.tl;dr
Address core game mechanics that unbalances the game for one side, rather than implementing another band aid mechanics into the game (such as bloodlust that was supposed to address poor map design). -
There is one major issue, that completely disallows devs to implement that kind of change.
It shits on solo players that happen to be in lobby with SWF. Why in the world would I ever want to play as a solo player in a lobby of 3 swf players and face a killer with 6 perks?
If they would implement this, devs would basically kill this for solo survivors.
There are two or three possible solutions.
1) give a bribe* to killers when playing against SWF (bonus bp) - fixes nothing, issue is still there.
2) add additional mode, casual (same as current, no ranks and no matchmaking) and ranked (only solo)
3) add icons to show who is in SWF in the lobby for* Both sides, killers and survivors, that way they can either play that game or just dodge (i hate swf as a killer and as a survivor, im purely solo player).
EDIT:
Corrected typos*... stupid phone. -
Could be avoided by healing last few percentages with a medikit, to not trigger said charges to be depleted from SC.
However if you want to go that way.
Make SC literally just a itemless medikit, where it literally just has charges in it that allows you to heal for 3 full heals or so.
TBH, 3 full heals is quite a lot, if you need to heal that much by yourself each game, you should reconsider the way you play. -

Honestly I think Boil Over needs to be a counter to Iron Grasp. The swaying of the killer doesn't affect much if anything at all. It should give you a bonus to the wiggle gauge to get free.I'm sorry but in most direct cases, killer should be the one being able to counter or nullify survivor's perk.
The only area in which survivors should have upperhand in terms of having stronger perks is stealth.
Thus, survivors should have the proper counters to perks such as BBQ (they already do), Whispers, etc.As you may imagine, stuff survivors do in chases should be countered by killer's specific choices, same with hauling their arse to the hook after they were DOWNED (failed at escaping the chase). You want to introduce another "2nd chance" perk, which is not a welcome thing, take a look at DS.
Boil Over could increase the wiggling effect slightly more, but it should be completely nullified/zeroed back to the default value by using a perk on killer's arsenal (such as underused and overnerfed Iron Grasp).
And I'm sorry, but the way I see it is it's a useless perk if it's not truly aiding you in any way. and DS is a one time thing if you manage to hit the success zone.
I see a lot of killers running with Iron Grasp at tier 3 and can manage to carry you across the map if they really wanted. The way Boil Over is now is really only viable on maps with several objects the killer can run into. Hiding hook auras isn't much help when all the killer has to do is do a little spin and see one close by.
But if that's how it is.. then perhaps just change to the wiggle gauge buff, but at tier 3 it only helps by 50% and not 75%. that's at least something to make it viable to try and use.
Then you should stop playing extremely old DbD build that dates back to 2016.
Iron Grasp allows you at most to travel additional 2 seconds on top of the vanilla 16 seconds.
IG is a useless perk right now, that's like complaining about Thanatophobia (4 stacks) which does nothing to gen progression.I didn't say Boil Over will or should replace meta perks present since 2016, but it isn't completely useless, as with a bit of help from other teammates, it can play a part in an escape. Still, survivors shouldn't ever have perks that completely nullify killers efforts even when they PREPARE to counter said area. (i.e. why SB, DS and SC are so widely used, they are way too good with little to no counters available from killer's side).

Self care allows you to heal without help of others or use of items.
It trivalizes being hit by the killer, on top of that, game was supposed to be a survival horror, having limited supplies is a major thing in such genre.Right now, it is much more time efficient to self care rather than look for a chest with a medikit or search for a teammate, as the time spent doing any of these two actions would allow you to self care yourself at least two times in most cases.
On top of that, if SC wouldn't be a thing, killer could asses potential threats, such as killer finds a group of survivors, manages to wound all of them and decides to chase the only survivor who has a medikit, knowing as that person can heal themselves without help of any other survivor, while the rest of the group disperses in semi chaos, maybe losing a sight of each others, forcing them to initiate a search actions if not equipped properly (no medikits, no aura reading perks, etc).

Self Care currently trivalizes too many aspects of the game.
I highly disagree. This is a Survival Horror but it's not like other survival horrors where it's an open map with players able to go wherever and have a lot of space and ways to get rid of the threat, like having a gun, being able to actually outrun the threat, ect.
Your argument for chests is bad, for many reasons. Three chests spawn per match, one being risky to get and always in the basement where the other two are randomly generated in places across the map. You are saying that survivors should all HOPE that there is a medkit inside the chest. So hoping RNG is kind to you, gives you a medkit that is purple because anything lower won't last more than one to two heals and hoping that you don't have your teammats take all the chests because one person isn't going to have the chance to even get a chest.
Also people would try to find each other in the case of everyone being hurt at that point, they'd all go back to the spot where the chase probably started to heal up. People DO NOT bring items hardly anymore because of a fun perk killers get called Franklin's Demise where you have no counter play to it. Also survivors only have a few aura reading perks, one for chests and generators. Only one of those can help and again, hoping for a medkit out of them and hoping for the killer to not have Franklin's and hoping that your teammates didn't steal and get to them before you.
Self Care fits into the game. This game is not a typical survival horror and perks are apart of the game. The killers all have plenty of counter play to self healing and healing in general that it doesn't need to be nerfed. You're logic is too based around a communicating team who can say where all the chests are and that they all have medkits and the killer not having Franklin's or Nurses Calling or literally any perk that slows down progress or shows aura or gets rid of items.
Im basing my response on all survivors being solo players, I do not assume any of them being on comms, as I do not approve of SWF being a game intended feature.
Bringing items in the game is as common as it always was, FD being in play or not doesn't discourage players from what I have seen, just the amount of purple flashlights each game has been lowered for some reason.
Survivors would indeed start looking for each other, if they know they are not in a chase anymore.
That can cost a bit of a time too before they realize it is safe to do so and killer won't change their target after smacking that last survivor.About aura reading perks, what I meant by these were Empathy and Bond. If you really want to know all aura reading perks then: Bond, Empathy, Deja Vu, Dark Sense, Alert, Plunderer's Instinct, Wake Up, Detective's Hunch, Kindred, Object of Obsession and Windows of Opportunity.
That's plenty of them, on top of that you have maps and keys with proper addons, that can substitute perks or even allow you to see stuff that is not possible with just perks. Also, never said chests should always give you a medikit (if you want that, run Pharmacy, it is a great perk), but give you a chance instead of getting one if you haven't brought any into the game.
Having no item to heal yourself or no teammate should be a hindrance for you, not a "oh well, will just heal myself with mud".Too many survivors are too used to running it as a base of their perk builds, you should actually try not using it, it is not a needed perk. However if you cannot play without it, I would question your game knowledge and experience, due to massive reliance on a single perk.

I suggested a different rework to SB, as right now it has too many advantages compared to other exhaustion perks and also nullifies ambush based killers (Wraith and Pig), and because it is so widely used, those two killers are heavily punished by a single perk.
My proposed change would be to rework SB into:
Sprint Burst gives you an additional 1/2/3 seconds of increased speed after being hit by the killer's attack.
Causes Exhaustion. So basically, it would now double the distance you can cover after being hit by the killer, which would allow you to hide somewhere or just get enough distance to be in a safe spot. Could be quite powerful late game, with gates open too.
Yet, it would stop the bullcrap we currently see in the game, where it destroys ambush based killers, trivalizes bad positioning, because SB can save you and also works as a little Dead Hard, on top of that it also activates mid chase... all of these would be gone.
