You can get 96,000 with a pudding, BBQ, and a perfect game. I usually get around 80,000 per game as killer when I want to farm.
That isn't the average tho, is it :/

Killers receive more bloodpoints than survivors.
Killers tend to average around 100K a game, while survivors average around 6K-10K - killers can get through multiple bloodwebs (depending on level), while survivors can usually only get a single item. It makes the grind on the survivor side difficult and tedious, especially for newer players.
I'm pretty sure the average is 22K.

"Run a jungle gym correctly" against the killer you have no idea where she is, what she is doing, and with no iron will, if she is about to drop straight on top of you.
There is no mindgaming a spirit, you can only guess what side of the pallet she is going to reappear on. It is still a coin flip, just as it has always been, even before her "nerfs".
Oh no, spirit has a vault animation now. What a nerf. She can't down you 100% of the time by running into you while phasing, what a nerf.
Keep crutching on her though, just as many killers at red ranks do. It is fortunate I always run iron will anyways, but the best spirits will be running stridor so it hardly matters.
You have completely ignored my advice and have already made up your mind. That saddens me. Good luck.

The only sounds I have seen being broken are survivors on the ground not making noise, completely irrelevant to spirit.
"Jungle gyms hurt her" only if you have iron will. Otherwise, she can teleport straight onto your head with 0 counterplay.
That just isn't true. I've told you why it isn't true, let me try again. If you run a jungle gym correctly, throw down the pallet a little early then vault the window, she has to break the pallet or she doesn't catch you.
If you vault the window first and she hits you, you likely wouldn't have made it anyway.
Hope this helps :)

You literally have to have iron will or she downs you for free. All I see at red ranks are spirit, freddy, huntress, and doctor right now.
She still pops straight onto generators with little warning, getting her the first free hit. Then, with no iron will, there's literally nothing you can do to stop the second hit.
That is just false. Considering sounds are broken right now, Spirit's have a hard time. Iron Will is definitely good against her, but it isn't necessary.
Jungle gyms hurt her and if you can juke her power once, you get to loop a 110% Killer with no power for quite some time. Remember, chases don't need to be long anymore, gens will fly.

Even the people in my swf play solo occasionally. Maybe people facing swf more has something to do with swf matchmaking.
Could be. However, it doesn't change the likelihood of the games involving 2 Duo's.

@Waffleyumboy said:
No it couldn't just be confirmation bias...
It is very likely. I know very very few people who play Solo on Xbox. I'm not saying there aren't some, but I do think most people play with at least one other friend.

I don't think any need nerfs. I think a few need reworks (looking at you Bubba) and I think a few need buffs.

Killers need a nerf more as they are above 50% kill rate in Red ranks.

Fake news. She can hear you. Tested that in custom lobby.
Hmm, pretty sure the sound bug prevents that right now. Plus, MOST Killers don't pay that much attention. Breathing and footsteps are hard AF to hear, if you even can.

It definitely has the potential to be. I've been chased off of a generator that was almost done, and by the time I got unhooked and went back to the generator, it was right back to zero.
You were gone for 160 seconds? If I'm not wrong, and I probably am, gens regress normally at a quarter of what Survivors repair at. Therefore, Ruin makes them regress at half the speed that Survivors repair. A gen takes 80 seconds, so for it to regress fully it would need to be about 160 seconds, or two minutes and forty seconds.

@JohnLebedeiv said:

I can agree with that. I main killer btw, but as a survivor I can't see a way to counter her logically. Its legit a game of chance rather then a mindgame. Yeah buffing them weak killers would be nice, maybe even reworking some. But I say nerf spirit.
I disagree. As Survivor, you know when she is phasing. You know what she'll try to do.
She cannot hear you, but she can see scratchmarks, which are very misleading.
-
Because the amount of times I've been put into a lose-lose scenario as I've been walking away is staggering.
I hook someone after a decent chase, I walk maybe 10 meters away, they get unhooked. I can hit the unhooker and start another long chase, or I can hit the unhooked guy and start a long chase.
Bad plays should be punishable. Blueberry suggested to transfer the damage and I think that works well for everyone. It still counters camping but at least you get some value from it.

Because Freddy enjoys killing and tormenting his victims. He has fun with them before he kills them and he has a blast doing it. Ghostface is very similar but Freddy's power allows him to be much more evil when killing. You can actually hide from Ghostface but you'll eventually fall asleep to Freddy. As for Michael, the whole evil incarnate things feels more like a nickname. He stalks and kills. In my opinion, it's very basic. Also Michael chooses not to kill a baby in the latest Halloween movie while Freddy will kill literally anyone including children.
Meh, Mikey has killed kids before. Evil Incarnate isn't just a title, he is literally evil given Shape. That's kinda the point lol but yeah, Freddy is next up.

He's the most boring killer in the game.
So for a start his frenzy. He gets a free hit. The player (killer) would have to be a complete potato to miss that. In 99% of situations he's going to get a hit. He moves at 5.2m per second and can vault pallets. You run, Legion runs, you vault, Legion vaults. He gets as many free hits as he likes with very little in the way of counterplay other than trying to spin like a madman and hoping he misses or praying he falls for a locker vault.
Once hit survivors have 2 options:
1) Stay injured which means you're against an M1 killer with instadowns all game.
2) Heal to full health so he doesn't catch you off guard. This is where the problem comes in. Survivors hold M1 for most of the game to repair generators, with Legion if you want to heal you're now also holding M1 to heal all game too. Doesn't help that most Legions use thanataphobia and previously sloppy butcher, though thankfully he only has an add on for that now. If you use self-care it will take so long, otherwise you're either looking for totems for inner strength which will quickly run out or looking for someone else to heal you. Either way with how easily and frequently Legion can get hits if you wish to heal you're going to be doing little other than holding M1 for 90% of the game.
He's boring. By far the most boring killer in the game. Everyone wants a rework but so far....silence.
He mostly seems to be used by edgelords on reddit who have a weird obsession with him. I don't get why, he's probably the most ridiculous looking killer. That stupid mask and his weird chicken walk. Legion is a joke. A very bad joke.
Rework please.
edit: I should comment on Plague because a lot of Legions design flaws were rectified in Plague. She gets a free hit but it's not instant. It takes time, if she wants it quick she has to actually aim and keep spraying survivors.
Survivors now have 2 options:
1) Stay injured all game (Like Legion)
2) Instaheal. This is where they went right. Plague gets free injures but they also get extremely fast heals at fountains. In return Plague then gets a new and better power. There's an interesting gameplay loop there which isn't present with Legion.
It isn't like being injured and completing gens ASAP isn't already the meta.
Also, it is super easy to miss FF on console. Makes your frames drop to maybe 5
-
I would agree with Clown for non-licensed.
Why Freddy?
Michael is Evil Incarnate and GhostFace chose to come to the Entity's realm because he likes to kill.
-
I've had some pretty annoying games recently.
A Claudette with a flashlight, OoO, DH, DS and Adrenaline. She followed me the whole game, not doing any gens.
Their team still got 4 gens done, but I got the 4K so I didn't really care. Got messaged after the game about tunneling and how I camped them. I sent them a pic of the Emblem screen where I have zero taken off for proximity to hooked Survivor.
Fun times!

I have my posts. Several directly called out Devs and questioned their decisions and said things were awful.
- Plenty of that going around. Wonder if it's a sign?
They responded. They explained. They earned my respect by climbing into my ring.
- Seeing as no developer responds to 'unsafe' (well thought out point for point) posts. You undoubtedly had a weak argument or structured it in a way that was easy to pick apart.
The Devs welcome feedback and critical responses. They often respond to it and explain the thought process. I have seen them ignore certain posts, likely because of redundency.
- It's easy to say you welcome something if you don't have to address it. They might respond to 'safe' posts and beat around the bush, the point is clouded in PR that some seem to eat up and accept.
Your manner of thinking is full of anger and frustration over a suspected ignorance of valid arguments. There are many these days that share that view.
- I took the time to try and explain my reasoning "must be an angry and frustrated person". Since I don't generalize within a few sentences with every post?
- Suspected ignorance of valid arguments. This could have some validity, but seeing as you never addressed head on any of my reasoning or arguments presented, we can assume the same of you.
- Many these days are wising up to the increasingly lazily developed games, though huge successes in there own right from the beginning. As they have become money generators through ever increasing monetized in game items/features. And the lackluster PR that few unquestionably buy into.
I don't live on the forums and respond when I can. Hence the delay.
I welcome responses that argue the point. If all you have are generalized comments based on your personal thoughts and beliefs you need not respond OR leave them at the door and respond directly to the points being made. Hopefully you bring some tangible points to the table if you decide to respond.
I appreciate your response.
My calling out of the Devs, I should have elaborated more. I said to them, I don't like the direction you are taking this game, the Doc rework doesn't look good, I think the Ruin changes are unhealthy, you appear to be biased towards Survivor and you killed a perk. I didn't make an argument, I told them what I thought.
They responded, clarified a few things and explained their reasoning. Am I happy with the Ruin changes? No, I am not. I am pleased with the Doc rework though.
Again, they directly addressed me. I remained respectful and civil, but I basically said I thought their ideas were garbage.
Your inability to even consider my points tells me you have been feeling this way for quite some time. This, like with many, is just the straw that broke the camel's back.
I have addressed your points, but I also realize there is no swaying you from them. You are set in your opinion, that the Devs are only interested in the further monetization of the game. I am equally as set in my opinion that the Devs may not always make the best decisions, but they do genuinely care about the game.
There are absolutely games that exist only for profit these days, and I am glad people are wising up to that, however; I maintain my belief that this is not one of them.

You repeated yourself again o.O Imagine that. The difference between us is, when I repeat myself, I provide logic, and I'm actually right. When you do it, it's one-liner meaningless statements with no logical backing. You can't just say "it was a lot harder before" and have it invalidate someones statement that it's still a horses ass now. There's no substance to that.
In any case - all the killers complaining now that have been around since then? Marth? Tyde? Tru3? many others? How do you plan to discredit them? Also, where are these numbers from? Where are your sources? "The majority of them weren't around before". You must have statistical data to make such a claim, right? Cough it up, bud! I'd love to see it! 😎
Also - I would never stalk you. Don't flatter yourself.
Keep it civil. Debate with facts and be respectful. I don't care what your argument is, @AsePlayer is making you look like a child who calls people names.
I'm not commenting on either of your points, just asking you both to continue in a logical and civilized debate.

Gonna need stats to back that one up. Matchmaking was bad every since the SWF change. My queue times actually improved with the ruin nerf.
And no, the game won't die anytime soon.
My queue times have gone up drastically since the Ruin nerf. I'm waiting anywhere from 8-16 minutes to find a game as Survivor.
Just my personal experience.

Anything has to be better than what they have now. It’s damn near impossible to win as solo survivor because everyone has boosted to red ranks. Red ranks are so watered down it’s ridiculous and it sucks seeing even the crappiest of killers getting more kills than they deserve.
Killer has never been easier. No more sweat gs great players. While its nice I know this is not how its meant to be when put against survivors that are meant to be at the top of the ranking system.
I’ll try anything new at this point.
I disagree. Killer fluctuates from nigh impossible to win to so easy you could be asleep.
I think that part of the problem with Killer's frustration is, like you said, is that Survivors are boosted to Red Ranks.

The problem there is the maps man, tell me how it goes with Clown, Legion or Bubba in Hawkins, The Game and Lery's. I can 3k+ with low tier killers there no problem.
I do have trouble on The Game with some killers. Most of the pallets are super safe
-
My problem is that I play some lower tier Killers, and I struggle to get enough hooks in the amount of time I am given.
I think my average game lasts 6 or so minutes. That means I need a hook every 30 seconds to get a 3K. That is completely unrealistic.

Hasn't that always been the case? It's same old in that regard except you won't know the rank/skill level of yourself or your opponents due to matchmaking being a hidden skill number.
True. But it did feel good to beat a team of Rank 1 Survivors. I was hoping for MM changes that would include a reward system for players that stay in high ranks for long periods.
-
I'm just gonna be frank, your bias is showing. That is not at all what the Dev post said. I doubt you are open to discussion as you have already decided your viewpoint.

I wouldn't 100% believe that. Remember that the devs have stated back in the 3 year anniversary stream that rank rewards seem to be one of their goal unless they changed their minds about it.
I think they also said it wasn't a priority. I think it was sort of the attitude of, "Yeah, we would like too, but we have more pressing issues."
That's totally fine, I'm just not sure I want to play and try to do well when I get no reward for it lol
-
@BBQnDemogorgon said:
Pride and accomplishment. Bragging rights as they said in the blog post.
Rewards are super unlikely.
Then I have no reason to play at a high level. It isn't fun and I am not getting anything from it, so why bother?
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
Apparently ranking up is just going to be a devotion that affects your matchmaking. They will probably say devotion rewards are enough.
I don't want much. Just like, a small incentive. An outfit, hell, even like 400 Cells to buy PART of an outfit would do a lot.
-
Most maps are too large for the majority of the Killer cast to effectively patrol. Plus, too many loops.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
Too many people are calling for DS to deactivate when another survivor is hooked. This would enable tunneling and make the perk useless.
Survivor gets unhooked, killer downs them, killer downs unhooker, unhooker gets hooked, unhooked gets hooked aka tunneled.
Then that isn't tunneling. That's called getting farmed.

Why not? It's assurance to reset when you ended a chase, it can also be used to prompt killers to give chase as they rather not see you get healed within proximity, it also prompts a killer to break a pallet and gives you distance by using selfcare infront of a pallet, there are many usefull uses to it.
All of which can be done faster with a Med-Kit. Self-care is a great perk for when you have time to waste, otherwise, it's garbage. You would be better off running Bond to find people that can heal you, or, just run Inner Strength.
