The forums are majority killer mains. I've seen so many toxic cry baby entitled killer main posts who literally demand the devs to constantly nerf survivors even more. Its frustrating to read and it's pretty sad honestly.
I disagree. The Forums are pretty equally filled with "mains." The majority, I think, do play both sides.
Survivors themselves do not need a nerf, just the tools that they have to work with. (Looking at you main building on Asylum.)

I try not to make many generalization about them, unless it is specifically designed to be humorous.
-
I try not to complain, I just criticize. I WANT to play with PC players. I just want it to be on an equal playing field, that is all.

He would've de-pipped if you would have left. It sucks, but at that point he isn't winning the game. What is he supposed to do, let you all escape?

It seems like every time we get a console killer (we're on PC), there's always some console killer who doesn't care about tunneling or camping whatsoever, plays that weird console meta build with Devour Hope (literally like 90% of the console bros), and it's just not a fun experience. They always accuse people on PC of "hacking" (lol, really sad that skill = "hacking") and then they do toxic crap thinking it's fine. I would turn off cross-play if it didn't pair us with the exact same killer a few matches in a row (legit our experience, no lie) so I don't feel I have much of a choice. I wish there was some kind of incentive to discourage toxic gameplay...on both sides honestly.
Oh and before anyone says anything, yes I have run BT and DS. Do I feel like running those perks every game? No, I can't predict when someone will drop skill requirements in order to use a crutch to gain an advantage.
Feels like a massive generalization. Seems to me like you got beat, the Killers didn't follow your rules, and you are upset. That's fine, but you just gotta move on.
As for console players accusing PC players of cheating, if you are playing a Killer on console, you MIGHT be getting 25 FPS on a bigger map, so yes, it can look like cheating depending on what happens.

I main Survivour but haven't noticed a difference when I play Killer.
Survivor FPS is okay, I usually get 40 FPS. As Killer, I think I average around 25, 15 when it's a large map.

You still would get staggered from falling with BL, it reduced the stagger by 75%, which was useful to have when you were exhausted, because typically when a survivor falls, they're stunned in the location for a second which typically allows for an ez hit to the killer given they don't get stunned. Balanced Landing literally did what its name suggested, and reduced that stun, but also gave you a sprint so you could gain some distance. The Perk was not as powerful as you think. It was only poor map designed that made the perk so strong. Generally when the perk was used normally in a map, a basekit Bubba can catch up and down a survivor that just used Balanced Landing, as you can see here: https://www.twitch.tv/aspacehamster/clip/ArtsyExquisiteReindeerM4xHeh
It's honestly one of the weakest exhaustion perks.
Then why, pray tell, was it used so much?

You prove a valid point but my question is why should balanced landing have a passive that isn't affected by exhaustion over the other exhaustion perks. Dead hard, Lithe and Sprint burst all have the haste effect but don't have the same properties as balanced does.
Because it needs it. Survivors are automatically stunned after falling from a height and thus are slowed considerably. The passive makes it so that the perk functions as intended, without it, you would almost always be hit after falling from any height. It would be like getting Adrenaline while crouched, speed wise.
You simply don't need that with Lithe, Sprint Burst or Dead Hard.

Sold. I think I'll put time into Ghostface.
As I just stated in my other (new) thread about stalking killers, I think Myers needs some QoL tweaks. The main one being stalking and distance. Distance needs to stop slowing down his stalk.
Imo, he needs something else in Tier III. Instant downs and faster vaults are nice, but people just drop pallets and there isn't much you can do most of the time. Maybe built in Brutal Strength? I dunno.

Yeah, I'm thinking of maybe shelving Myers again and just keep putting extra BP into him until Corrupt appears. Early game just feels so useless right now.
Might just pick up Ghostface. I got him to 40 for the teachables, but haven't put more than a few hours of actual play into him yet.
He's a more consistent Myers imo.
He can be broken out of stealth, but if you play him like a Wraith (hit and run) and Myers (popping instant down when close) you can really get a lot of value out of him.
plus he can t-bag Survivors so that's fun :D
-
As tempting as that sounds, I don't even know if I'm gonna get him lol
Definitely gonna get Felix tho

Yay, another “I don’t know how to play around DS, so please nerf it so the game is on EZ mode for me” thread
By the Devs own reasons for nerfing Ruin, DS also should be nerfed.
Old Ruin had counterplay. Either break the totem or hit great skillchecks.
DS has counterplay, eat the DS or wait it out.
Either Ruin should not have been nerfed, or DS needs to be nerfed.

Well, it seems from a majority of replies that Corrupt is fairly needed on Myers, which I agree with. I'm only running Discordance as a placeholder until the ***insert expletive* bloodweb gives me Corrupt.
Ah, yeah, the bloodweb can be painful sometimes. Corrupt is almost essential on Myers, since he is a bit of a dated Killer, he needs the extra time it gives him.

Infinites haven't existed since shack got nerfed.
You are correct. Infinites, as in loops that are actually infinite, haven't existed since then.
However, loops that are so strong that the Killer has to leave or else they are basically throwing the game, did exist. Balanced Landing enabled most of them. Do I think that they should've reworked the maps then taken a look at Balanced? Yes. Am I upset that it got nerfed? No, it deserved it. No other Exhaustion perk had an effect that activated even when Exhausted.
It was merely made more consistent with other perks :)

Right now I am running M&A, PGTW, BBQ, and Discordance in place of Corrupt because my Myers has crap bloodweb luck and I still can't get Corrupt to appear.
Been running Dead Rabbit as well, and then another (I forget the name off hand) to moderately increase stalking gain.
Ah, I just call them the Flowers, but yeah, that works too. I generally only rock on information perk, but if two works for you then go for it!
-
This is just in my opinion.
1.) Dead Hard. This is by FAR the best Exhaustion perk. No contest.
2.) Adrenaline. Heals a heath state and gives you a speed boost for doing your objective.
3.) Sprint Burst. It can be used somewhat effectively, but you still need to walk for most of the game, or 99 it.
4.) Lithe. It just isn't that good.
5.) Balanced Landing. Also not that good anymore, thank goodness it got nerfed.
6.) Head On. By FAR the most fun to use, but in practicality, it is EXTREMELY situational and not all that useful.
-
I run a tiny TR Myers build.
M&A, PGTW, Corrupt and a perk of your choice, I use BBQ.
Add-ons: Dead Rabbit and J. Myers Memorial.
With the Dead Rabbit and M&A, your TR in Tier II is essentially zero, I think the actual number is like 4 meters, plus you can still use Tier III in this build.

Over time, I'll know if that perk is worth the slot for me I guess.
At least that perk fits into my playstyle: having every little detail under control, map pressure, information... (that's why I main legion and doctor for example). So this perks definitely helps for that (I don't use it for other killers tho, just for those who I think they need it like legion, nurse...etc).
My general build is a competitive one that seeks to amplify Legion's win condition.
I run Sloppy Butcher, PGTW, Corrupt and Monitor. These perks all encourage Survivors to heal themselves (minus Sloppy) and they give me extra time.
For add-ons I run the Stolen Sketchbook and Defaced Smiley Pin. This allows me to give even more people the Mangled status effect, combined with Monitor, makes them want to heal since I have a smaller TR.
-
Vault whenever you can.
Don't get greedy.
Play loops close to the edges of the loop and try to make him bump into it. If he hits it, you win the chase.
If you get greedy, he will punish you.
He isn't OP, but he is definitely better than he used to be.
-
Probably Haddonfield or the Asylum. Haddonfield is just miserable and the Asylum has WAY too many safe pallets and the main building is kind of a problem.

I didn’t say Legion can’t be juked. I’m simply saying with how fast they’re moving, thus all the motion occurring on the screen, it makes sense to remove all of the other tracking indicators and just have KI only, so that the screen isn’t cluttered with information overload.
Adding more tracking options would be nice, at least when you first activate his power. After you get KI, scratchmarks can disappear, but until you hit someone, I think they should stay.

I think the same could be said for the insta downs add ons and perks.

Like I said, it doesn't have to be my proposed changes, but it was nerfed into the ground. It shouldn't be "ultra-rare" anymore. Killers ultra rare are add ons that insta kill or allow moris. Honestly, 2 health sttates won't do jack if we're talking about an ID Huntress, Bubba, a good HB, plague, etc.
It is fair the way it is now. It will still heal an entire health state, you simply have to wait a few seconds. The old Syringe offered far too much value, instantly healing two health states is kinda broken.
-
It is definitely good, and I have tried it myself a few times. The big issue is, that is it really worth running over other perks?
Personally, for me, it isn't. It is really nice to have, but it feels like more of a QoL change than something actively helping me.
That being said, feel free to use it, it may not fit into my playstyle, but don't let that stop you from trying it out!

I don’t understand. How are you being punished? You want to be confused by other superfluous things on screen like scratch marks, blood, and auras while trying to hone in on the KI indicators?
It doesn’t matter if it’s a non lethal ability. Legion can’t stall the game if they can’t regularly inflict DW because they can’t hit anyone because of too much happening on the screen.
You have to be being sarcastic. Legion's FF is extremely disorienting to use. If a Survivor can juke even somewhat well after vaulting, they can lose a Legion 9/10.
Now, you may be saying, "Well, you should only use FF when you have a clear LoS on the Survivor, and they aren't going to vault anything." That'd be true, except for the fact that it is literally better to M1 them, if they have nothing nearby.
Legion's power kind of sucks, it needs buffs, but I do agree that it probably doesn't need scratchmarks.
@SirCracken You will find Legion has many of these oxymoronic things. My favorite is the fact that for simply using his power, he eats a longer stun than Nurse does.

Why not just fix the issue? I WANT to play with PC, but I also want it to be a level playing field. Plus, consoles were promised optimization nearly two years ago, I would like it if they delivered on that promise, preferably before the Graphical Update.

Minor point but pretty much any pallet loop Freddy can catch with snares Clown can also catch with gas, plus Clown can put gas in front of a survivor during a chase while transitioning between tiles which Freddy can't do. Also Clown's gas always works on survivors while Freddy's snares only work on sleeping survivors. Basically Clown is better during a chase than Freddy, Clown's weakness is that once the chase is over he has no other ability and has to refresh his bottles every other chase or so while Freddy just teleports around the map and never has to refresh his snare pool.
TLDR - Freddy is way better than Clown overall, but Clown does actually have the edge during the chase.
I disagree. The counter to Clown is to drop pallets early. He either has to break them, or they can loop him since gas doesn't force slow vaults over pallets. Freddy will never run out of Snares, but Clown can run out of bottles.

I get your frustration, I hate getting tunneled as well. It seems you´re so bitter about the topic.
There´s so much salt on this forum and too many people just rant because they don´t like x or y. I´m guilty of this as well in my campaign to change Object of Obsession, but we should try to stay reasonable and present our arguments in a manner the DEVs may accept.
There IS an issue with DS though as it is too easily exploitable. At least in my opinion. Can you acknowledge that there are things Survivor "mains" won with and won´t shut up about?
Ruin comes to mind. Prayer beads, forever freddy, Insta and crack Billy to give just a few examples.
As a Killer "main" I´d say these were good changes for the game. In case of DS and tunneling we need an incentive NOT to tunnel since as of now it´s often simply the best play.
Instant saw needed to go, but I liked Speed Billy :(

"1.) DS is run in a majority of games. I am not saying that everyone runs it, I am merely observing that it is likely that at least two people will have it in every game."
Well, thx Killers playstyle. I would love to run a Perk which might not even be of use. But if there is no Obsession, the Killer will tunnel. And most of them do regardless. This is why DS is run.
"3.) If there is an obsession (say someone is running MoM for some reason, or the Killer is running STBFL) Killer's will respect DS even if they don't know it is in the game, that is a HUGE amount of passive pressure without even having to activate the perk."
You say that as if it is bad thing when Killers dont go right after the unhooked person...
IF the Devs decide to rework DS another time, it should be a true Anti-Tunnel Perk. It can have restrictions, but if the Killer decides to go for the Unhooked Person, they should get hit by DS, regardless what they do. No slugging or whatsoever.
DS is NO Anti-Tunnel Perk. If a Killer chases me for more than one minute, they still tunneled, but my DS is gone. If the Killer slugs me, they still tunneled.
And well, opening a Thread with a video from this person who does not even play Survivor (like, never) is not helpful.
1.) And why was Ruin run in every game? Because games went too quickly at high levels. The reason WHY it was run didn't matter when Ruin was nerfed, so why should it matter here?
3.) It is a bad thing. I, for one, do not enjoy being slugged on the ground for a minute when I am not even running DS. It is such a huge threat that the mere possibility will change the behavior of other players.
My personal idea for a DS rework is as follows:
DS no longer has a timer.
DS cannot be activated in the EGC.
DS will be active on both hook states, even if you used it previously.
DS will deactivate if another Survivor is downed.
DS will deactivate if you are fully healed.
DS will deactivate if you are doing an action for 10+ seconds.
-
What rank do you play at?
Doc excels at dominating lower ranked players and Pyramid Head does as well, to a degree.
Spirit isn't easy to counter, but you can outplay her, she is just as susceptible to mindgames while phasing as you. Stridor doesn't counter Iron Will, they cancel eachother out, so you just sound normal. Most good Spirit's don't use Stridor anyway.

I hope so. My console is gonna explode if that graphics update gets here before optimization.

I will try to explain my opinion better in this post
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1576278#Comment_1576278
Almost every killer will need to hit a M1 without using his power at some point in the match the way i see it is you get the first one free most of the time at least all the killers at 115 infinities don't exist and honestly its usually in the killers hands if they can cut down a chase if your at the same level as the survivor if your struggling to catch them its down to you. This is why people can go on long winstreaks with almost every killer most the issues beyond that are just because the games frustrating to play because of the developers design choices now that that rants over with.
Trapper- Has to hit M1s realistically, you cant get 12 traps a game most of the time i struggle to get 3 but im a really bad trapper
Wraith- LUL
Hillbilly-His Chainsaw will zone mostly for the hit but he still has to get it
Bubba-Billy on a lesser scale he will be less likely to M1 but they still need to without the free hit and can be looped no base map pressure
Mike-Will stalk and can one shot with extended lunge range but will need to chase normally in the game
Doctor-Uses his power to zone and block pallet drops but doesn't get a fast hit for free and his powers not good enough a trade off
Pig-Has to hit M1s all the time crouch and roar can be used to mind-game but not reliable
Clown-Zones with powers ability to hinder
Freddy-same principle as clown but with map pressure (i rate him higher than most do as well but thats not important)
Plague-Like legion has to M1 but not as reliable denies healing similar ect but just not that great
Ghost face-need to M1 but cant set himself up to down survivors in that hit as reliable as legion but he has a time limit, tbh i think hes overrated
Demi-Never played cant comment
Executioner-Better than legion but not by much all his M1s will be because if the hits not a M1 it would be his ranged attack
Oni-Same boat as legion must M1 for blood can be rushed before that and has way better slug potential when the train starts rolling
most killers are in a similar boat at least the 115 ones and i just think if your good at killer you can cutdown the time a chase takes so much faster and i keep seeing people say hes bad and well its just wrong. hes not the best killer but he definitely is in the same boat as Oni and Exe in that seance its in your control with him and hes enables you with his versatility to always have a correct play that can be made not all the killers can do that.
He is certainly not as good as Oni. Maybe as good as Oni on console, but Oni sucks on console.
Allow me to rebute your list:
Trapper: His traps can cut off some of the most dangerous loops in the map, forcing the Survivors to run far away to find pallets. He is an area denial, if you can force Survivor's into your area, they will get decimated.
Wraith: Will always get an easy first hit, but will struggle if he commits to a chase afterwards. He likes a more hit and run playstyle. He's pretty easy to loop, since he is tall and very visible and since he is only 115% and his power can't help him in a chase.
Billy: Can end chases with one decent chainsaw. Survivors will often mess up trying to avoid the chainsaw and instead get smacked by an M1. He can get looped, but good Billy's can flick.
Bubba: Definitely can have trouble with loops, chainsaw is unwieldy but is great pressure and can force pallets down early.
Thicc Boi Myers: Tier III allows him to one-shot and vault faster. He can still get looped, but one mistake is the end for those Survivors, since he vaults faster, there is more mindgaming opportunity. But he can still get looped really hard if its just a regular loop with no window.
Doctor: Good Doc's can cut off loops. They can stop you from vaulting and from dropping pallets.
Pig: Yeah, she gets destroyed in loops. She is M1 and the Ambush often doesn't have enough range.
Clown: Gets looped to oblivion. All they have to do is drop the pallet and he HAS to break it else he will never catch them.
Freddy: Huge map pressure and his Snares will allow for easy area denial like Trapper. His pallets also work as great decoys and make Survivors second guess.
Plague: Almost the same boat as Legion, but she gets an INSANE ability with her Corrupt Purge, so she can stop loops very easily if she has that.
GF: Can one-shot Survivors and has great stealth. Basically, if Myers and Wraith had a child, it'd be Ghostie Boi. He still gets mega looped if you aren't in stealth tho.
Demo: Shred can bait out some windows, but he still has to chase through most loops.
Pyramid Head: Easy way around DS, decent ranged attack can stop some loops. He's fairly good at that, no map pressure though.
Oni: Bad outside of Blood Fury. He gets it pretty easily though, and most Survivors won't heal against him so, he gets some easy map pressure and his power can one-shot.

I'm still not convinced you're incapable of gaining any ground on someone who's already wounded. It's basic gameplay.
You certainly can, but it is difficult to cut corners tight. Look at some higher level Killer players, like Otz. Even regular loops would be nightmares to navigate if they didn't mindgame Survivors.

@Aven_Fallen said:
Yeah, a video from one of the most biased Killer Mains is a good source.
You make a fair point, but I think the original one stands, though this example doesn't help it.
DS needs a change. Even going off of the Devs own reasons for nerfing Ruin, it should've been nerfed.
1.) DS is run in a majority of games. I am not saying that everyone runs it, I am merely observing that it is likely that at least two people will have it in every game.
2.) It punishes newer players who may not know about it and it also punishes new Survivors who may not be able to hit those skillchecks yet, so they get tunneled after they miss it.
3.) If there is an obsession (say someone is running MoM for some reason, or the Killer is running STBFL) Killer's will respect DS even if they don't know it is in the game, that is a HUGE amount of passive pressure without even having to activate the perk.
4.) It is inconsistent. It never actually stops tunneling (though it may not be an anti-tunnel perk) and often times it will prompt the Killer to make sure that Survivor is taken out of the game ASAP.

Infinites don't exist anymore. What are you doing?
True, infinites don't exist, but if Survivors play a loop right, they can easily waste 20-30 seconds by playing around one decent loop. That likely means you will lose a gen (if they work together) by the time you hook that Survivor.

Performance is not all that great on PC either. Yes it’s not as bad as consoles but you make it seem like DbD runs flawlessly on PC. Just today I was playing a match with all PC players, I vaulted the window and DH’d and still got hit even though the killer was nowhere near me. Or a killer clearly hits a survivor but the hit won’t register. There are BS hits/misses on PC as well. So many other performance issues and it’s known that the game is not well optimized on all platforms. They need to optimize the game better and improve the performance as you said. Asking to remove crossplay or demanding to exclude a specific playerbase is not the solution.
No, I don't think it is justified to ask the Devs to remove crossplay. I do think, that it is reasonable, to ask them to fulfill the promise they made years ago, they need to optimize Consoles, then we can worry about fixing things on PC. PC runs FAR FAR better than Console by default, you rarely hear of people complaining about performance issues on PC.
-
@stargazer9 said:
For those saying remove PC players from crossplay.
For those saying remove Nintendo Switch players from crossplay.
STOP. PLEASE STOP.
Crossplay should not exclude any platform, it should include every platform or it would be pointless. Crossplay is supposed to bring the playerbase together and for everyone to play together.
Now if you’re not liking crossplay the devs have added an option to turn it off. I play on PS4 and PC and turning crossplay off doesn’t make queue times longer even though you get a message that says that when you turn it off, it is simply not true. There are also quite a few console players here who disabled it and have confirmed the same.
Also, for those who are saying they should make 3 different crossplay options: PC only, console only, PC & console. I‘ve actually seen some people here suggesting they do that. However, dividing the playerbase into 3 groups is not a good idea at all and will lead to very long queue times. It just won’t work.
There’s really no reason to complain about crossplay since you can always turn it off/on whenever you want. More and more games are adding crossplay now, even shooters, because devs realize it’s good for their game and their playerbase and that's true. Again, if you don’t like it or you prefer not to play with a specific platform then just disable it altogether. You should also keep in mind that the majority of the playerbase aren’t even on the forums and that there are so many players who enjoy playing with other platforms and there are those who want to play with friends. So please don’t be selfish and stop asking to remove one platform or the other. You shouldn’t be able to pick and choose. It’s either all or nothing.
I would be fine with crossplay if Console players weren't at a disadvantage compared to PC players. I can miss 3 swings on Mother's Dwelling simply because I am getting like 10 FPS, while the Survivor on PC is getting 60. Switch players are even worse off than PS4 and Xbox players, they get even fewer frames.
They need to prioritize console optimization, especially in light of crossplay being enabled.

This may be a bit of a hot take and i am not asking for him to be nerfed i actually like him but i think their is a misconception that he is a weak killer i think i rate him in the same league as Oni as i wouldn't put him at the top of the food chain like nurse but he is comfortably in the upper
1) Legion can get incredible easy first hits and can chain injure multiple survivors at a time and so effectively past the first hit you only need to hit once most of the time and even if they heal the time it buys is not really worth it as the state he can injure a survivor again is so fast.
2) If you want to slow down the game its incredibly easy as their are so many strong slowdown perks that work with him such as Dying Light, Pop and especially Ruin and Thanatophobia.
3) Even if his ability is limited by the fact that you cant really track while using it as you don't get to see scratch marks if your running BBQ witch you are don't lie we all want the BP and you want to get to a gen quickly you can cross most maps with decent pace. Killers like trapper, Ghostface and even some stronger killers like Executioner and depending on the situation Oni.
4) This is quite a minor point but the legion is short.
As someone who mains Legion and plays them a lot, Legion is not a good Killer. He has a very simple win condition. If the Survivors try to heal, they will lose. If they don't heal, they will win, simply because you cannot down them fast enough to stop gens from popping.
Additionally, Legion is absolutely crippled by cooldown, which is longer than Nurse's. He loses his power on a single miss (very easy on console) and his power is drained whenever he hits an M1. A lot of his add-ons are totally useless and his power is completely useless if people stay injured.
He is a Killer that will stomp lower ranked players that try to heal, but will be routinely decimated by players that can loop moderately well and know that they shouldn't heal.

Exactly like especially cause of COVID. And you can’t disable cross play otherwise you basically just can’t play the game due to HUGE lobby wait times. And if you DC because you can’t play you’re punished lol no matter what console gets shafted for crossplay thanks to horrible optimization. There’s no reason GTA V should run perfectly fine but DBD struggles to keep 30 fps
Okay, to be fair, GTA runs fine whenever there isn't absolute chaos going on, which is almost never lol

My guess is that next gen consoles will run soomth as shiz but yeah the devs promise alot of things sadly xbox one a ps 4 will be left to rot......forever
Nobody is gonna buy the new consoles immediately. They are going to be expensive and considering some people can barely afford rent, I'd wager they have bigger things to worry about.

Here's the important part. These are not in any particular order. But you only ever hear people quote #1. I promise #1 is not the only reason we changed Ruin; it's just one piece in the puzzle.
We took a close look at the perk to identify what makes it so frustrating to play against. Three key issues were identified:
- Its punishment of new players or those who can't hit Great Skill Checks. Newer players trying to help veterans with generator repairs tend to make the situation worse rather than better.
- The passive nature of the gameplay pressure it provides means that there is a huge amount of potential with very little effort or risk on behalf of The Killer.
- Its inconsistency due to the random nature of the appearance interval of skill checks.
Couldn't most of those reasons be applied to other perks as well?

It's up to BHVR, but I feel like coming up with more "objectives" for Survivors is going to be a bit difficult for a game like this, unless they revamp the whole system. And plus, some of these ideas for objectives may be cool but it can be easily exploited by Killers, say for example Survivors' new/side objective being to repair a vehicle. The Killer could very much be able to camp the vehicle if they so wished to.
Less an objective, more just something else to do. Because realistically, Survivors only need to do gens, even if chases only last 30 seconds, the Killer likely still loses if even only two Survivors are doing gens. The Killer has to catch and hook Survivors AND stop gen progress.
If we give Survivors something else to do, games might be a bit slower and everyone is happier.

While I don't blame Survivors for doing their only objective (besides totems), there have been times where I have felt that I couldn't do anything better. In my opinion, if you take 4 perfect Survivors and one perfect Killer and put them on a Killer other than the top tier one's (Nurse, Billy, Spirit ect ect), the Survivors will almost always win simply because the Killer's objective is far more difficult than the Survivors objective.
Again, I don't blame Survivors for doing their job, but they need something else to do.

so when a killer is generally nearby but not camping I should still have to wait like 20 seconds to save because.............. why? as for the distance thing I mean..... terror radius required
Yes. The Killer shouldn't be punished because Survivors bum-rushed the hook. Nor should he be punished for walking away from the hook.
The only reason you would be against this change (imo) is if you actively use BT like this. My change counters camping, but it doesn't punish Killers for existing.

I would argue that I almost never see BT used to counter camping or tunneling. It is ALMOST always used when the Killer has just started to walk away from the hook and another Survivor comes in to unsafely unhook the hooked Survivor. It doesn't counter camping, it simply facilitates unsafe and bad plays. Plays that would get you and the other Survivor killed if you didn't have the perk.
Change it so that it has a time and distance requirement. It could be the exact same conditions for when the Emblem penalty for camping kicks in.

I don't disagree. What I am hoping is that the optimization comes out with the graphical update (which looks fantastic btw). If it doesn't, it will be difficult to play Killer.

I actually do not encounter many toxic players. I send them GG after the match, and most are pretty chill. You get a super toxic one every once in a while, but not too often. I have heard from one of my PS4 buddies that it can be quite toxic over there, and we all know about the PC post-match chat.
So basically, doesn't really matter what platform you are on, toxic people will be toxic. Just gotta ignore them and move on.

I think the fact that if you miss an attack or dont do your rush for even 1 second after the initial rush you get punished is ridiculous, it makes maps like the treatment theatre and lampkin lane impossible because of all of the obstacles
I think the missing an attack thing is fine. You should be punished for missing (gonna be a nightmare to play on Console tho.) I do agree that he needs a larger window to activate a second dash.
