Seriously how has console not been optimized?
Title. Normally I’m very sympathetic towards devs and understand 90% of what they do but why did they think PC console cross play was a good idea when all a killer has to do is play doctor with sloppy and you’ll lose all your frames when hit. I tried playing huntress earlier and I never left 20-25 frames. Frames have never been this bad seriously PLEASE optimize it I can’t stand this.

Because next gen is soon so whats the point?
We were promised optimization and 60 FPS like what? 2 years ago? And I doubt next gen consoles will be much better with DBD tbh
My guess is that next gen consoles will run soomth as shiz but yeah the devs promise alot of things sadly xbox one a ps 4 will be left to rot......forever
Nobody is gonna buy the new consoles immediately. They are going to be expensive and considering some people can barely afford rent, I'd wager they have bigger things to worry about.

Exactly like especially cause of COVID. And you can’t disable cross play otherwise you basically just can’t play the game due to HUGE lobby wait times. And if you DC because you can’t play you’re punished lol no matter what console gets shafted for crossplay thanks to horrible optimization. There’s no reason GTA V should run perfectly fine but DBD struggles to keep 30 fps
The would be true in normal times. But given the pandemic and the state of unemployment and finances, the smart move now would be to worry about both.

Same question thats been asked everyday by console players since 2018 when the Devs first said they would optimize console but now it's 2020 almost close to 2021 and they have yet to deliver.
My guess is that they genuinely don't give a crap and are dodging post about it like the plague.

Idk man I’ve literally never seen noticeable frame drops in GTA and I have just a basic first generation Xbox one.
