Go to the lore stream back in 2018 They said that the realm isn't just a bunch of maps & the sub-realms It's more than that It's a whole Universe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GI0NOK6jrts Here is the link to the stream btw I don't really remember the timestamp tho
It's a pocket dimension.
-
I want him.

Nah i HIGHLY doubt that, The mind flayer made a world while the entity made a WHOLE universe The Entity is far more stronger than the mind flayer but it would still be sick to see them fight
There's no proof of that.
The Entity makes copies of places from people's memories. It hasn't actually built anything on its own yet.

But how would he leave? Aren't the trials hosted in pocket dimensions? Isn't the Entity an entire dimension in and of itself? As I said, Myers may be exceptionally powerful physically and mentally, but I doubt even he can pass through the very fabric of several realities.
I suppose this comes down to what canon you believe is more powerful, either this "Evil" you mentioned, or the Entity.
It flat-out states that Myers came willingly and that the Entity couldn't force him. Similarly, Myers can kill Survivors whenever he pleases, lore-wise and the Entity, while displeased, can do nothing to stop him.
Simple insanity won't protect you from the Entity , as Doctor is insane, but is still controlled. Huntress and Leatherface both have innocent child-like minds, but are also controlled.
Ergo, whatever powers Myers is outside of the Entity's sphere of power.

But even so, Michael is still limited by his physical body. He cannot project himself into every single trial, as far as I know.
He cannot. Perhaps, he doesn't need to.
The Evil that has chosen him seems to protect him and gives him what he needs. The man took two .38 rounds to the forehead, took 6 to the body and was fine.
I see no reason that the Evil which drives him couldn't adapt to the Entity. Technically, Myers could just leave, as the Entity has no power over him.

seeing as the entity's power seems to be dominating the wills of others and using them to do its bidding the same could be said for it. It cannot dominate Myer's will, he serves himself. I expect a stalemate between the two, neither able to influence the other in any meaningful way
Myers would simply stalk the Entity, building up power to unleash Tier IV
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
I never understood the idea that Myers would be able to attack the Entity in any meaningful way. Yes, he's effectively immortal. Yes, he's absurdly strong both mentally and physically. Yes, he's unquestionably evil. But when it comes down to it, he's just a big guy with a penchant for murder. What's he gonna do against something he cannot even begin to grasp the scope of? What's he gonna stab a knife into? The air?
He cannot starve the Entity of survivor sacrifices, because there are FAR too many trials for him to make any meaningful impact. Besides, even if Myers could deprive the Entity of a meaningful amount of sacrifices and emotions, why would it even allow him to?
I can't say whether the same applies to Pyramid Head. I don't know whether it's suggested that Silent Hill still has influence over him (it?). If not, then the Entity could easily manipulate was the Red Pyramid Thing sees. If the town does have influence over him, the same treatment as Myers wouldn't seem like a stretch.
As for the Mind Flayer mentioned here, I have no idea. Never seen the show.
Myers is Evil given shape, if you will. He is, in essence, a vessel for a much larger entity.
Same with Pyramid Head, to my knowledge.
The Mind Flayer has shown to be able to possess hundreds of people, build a reflection world and create its own creatures, so far as we know. I've always suspected the Demogorgon was here as a spy, to keep tabs on the Entity.
-
Myers and P-Head are only there because they wish to be there.
They are both manifestations of ideas, Myers of Evil itself and Pyramid Head of guilt.
Demogorgon is the only other one with a shot, not because of its own power, but because of the master it serves.
The Mind Flayer could probably take on the Entity, especially if it is released in it's full-form and even more so if it corrupts the Entity's Realm using the Upside-Down.
Hint Hint BHVR that'd be a wicked event to drop near the release of Stranger Things Season 4.

The very tip of his head will poke out of vaults, but his eye-level is usually below the vault.
So yes, it is accurate.
-
Solo Survivor, teammates are just infuriating.
Then Killer, the game conspires against you sometimes and every mistake is liable to cost you the game or to get you ridiculed post-game.
Then SWF, where you have people backing you up.

I think it's more likely it comes with the Anniversary update

His stats are also apparently insanely good with Nurse.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic about this but according to the dbd stats page they genuinely are it's kinda crazy how many blink hits they have
First line is sarcasm. Second line isn't.
Sluzzy is playing 4D DBD while we are only playing 1D.

This would be my most wanted out of the old classic movie monsters. With Victor Frankenstein as a survivor and one of the monster's perks being called "It's Alive!"
I think it'd be really neat.
Also, holy ######### do I want Christopher Lee's Dracula in the game.
-
My offer to give tips on how to deal with SWF is still open.

I want a Frankenstein chapter

Can we get a debate between @Sluzzy and @Lord_Tony?

Demo kind of seems tinier than in the actual show so it's been done before
Demo towers over adult soldiers in ST, he should be 8+ feet tall.
Myers, by comparison, is actually the 2nd largest model in DBD, beaten only by the tip of Pyramid Head's hat. In the movies, he's just an average sized dude, except for Rob Zombie's Halloween, where he was 6'6 and an professional fighter. In game, he's easily 8+ feet.
Entity makes you bigger based on how much it likes you?

Yes

I mean, the issue isn't that anyone else got a lot of upvotes, its that QwQw got like, three total from anyone other than me.
I only upvote things that I agree with and/or appreciate, and that's assuming I don't forget that I CAN upvote people lmao
-
Well, obviously, don't DC.
But
I feel you, Solo Q is the worst.

What is wrong with this forum?
Why did the random comments from people barely involved in this whole thing get more upvotes than the person being interviewed?
You came here for the interview, right?
I dunno man, I don't know how I got ANY of my upvotes.
I just say what I think.

I have a question?
Maybe I read this wrong or missed something, but what's to stop Legion from just tunneling Survivors like original Legion?
The same thing that stops current Legion.
It takes well over 45 seconds of stuns and cooldowns to do so
-
That's really just hiding the issue.
Solo's are at a HUGE disadvantage compared to SWF.
Killers will obliterate Solo's, but be dominated by some SWF.
You've got to address the power imbalance.
-
I've not been Key'd yet today.
You can slug, preferably with Twins, as they are very good at it.

Could you go into more depth rather than just simple x is bad or x is good? I could see multiple pros and cons for both sides of keeping queuing limited vs not.
What are your opinions on the matter?
Should they change how the game is played so there is multiple queues for casual or more serious play with the serious play being solo or doubles only?
These are the kind of thoughts I was looking for.
I told you my thoughts.
Solo Q needs help, adding in a global VC would help.
Preventing peoppe from playing with their friends is not going to help. If you buff Solo's enough, you eliminate the need for a power adjustment to SWF.
-
No.
Adding in global voice chat for Solo's is fine.
Locking people's ability to play with friends is not.
-
Eventually, yes.
It's a slightly simplier fix than stretched res.

Yeah, I get the point of giving the survivors a choice between recovering from Exhaustion or making distance, but just a moderately safe loop, pallet, or window is enough to make up for the time lost I think, and usually in this situation, the survivor will have already used their Sprint Burst, Head On, or Lithe, so 2 additional seconds of Exhaustion becomes a non issue, and will only effect the primarily mid-chase Exhaustion perks such as Dead Hard, Smash Hit, and Balanced Landing. Also if the survivor just isn't running an Exhaustion perk, it becomes a non issue and they'll always make distance, which is why I'm always concerned with the proposition or addition of Exhaustion as a primary mechanic to a killer's power.
In this version of Legion, survivors will always, always, always have to heal-- what I mean with the potential double Thanatophobia effect. If all survivors are effected, that could be -32%, with the ever-present threat that Legion could down you in Frenzy.
I've tried to edit it with your input in mind.
I misspoke when I said stacking. I meant that the effect will remain on those Survivors until they are fully healed, similar to Thana, not that it would continue to stack on every hit.
Considering the 3 second stun, Survivors will not make NEARLY as much distance as before with our lovely Live 4 second stun. The Exhaustion isn't meant to be a real hinderance, though I may bump it up to 4 seconds if you truly think it's not impactful enough.
-
I think it should activate on distance and time.
"If a Killer is within X distance of a hooked Survivor for X seconds, BT will be activated upon a successful unhook."
or
"If a Killer is within X meters of the hook, but has not remained in the radius for more than X seconds, the unhooked Survivor received Endurance, but the Savior receives Exposed for X seconds."
Either way, this punishes unhooking as soon as the Killer turns his back, which is a dumb and bad play.

And Ruin Undying was OP. It definitely didn't need to get nerfed as hard as it did though.

I don't know why it hurts survivor mains so much to admit they are being pandered. Guess it must hurt the fact that killers are the victims and it makes you feel less special.
Imagine accusing me of being a Survivor main because you disagree.
Imagine.

I've spent a lot of my life moving between consoles and pc, trust me when I say, it barely matters. I've watched as console players beat pc players in games purely because they're better and dbd is no exception. The only big reason I can think of that pc is ever genuinely considered better than console (and don't say framerate, I've lagged just the same on pc as I have with a console I take care of with an ethernet) is because of sniper rifles.
Think about it, something with virtually 0 travel time and the ability to flick. It's pretty obvious to me where having a mouse with customizable DPI comes in handy there.
However, dbd doesn't have sniper rifles and every single projectile takes time to hit. Hatchets have travel time, knives, deathslinger's hope-ender, etc. So it's not hard to dodge at far distances.
Flicking as a killer on console is plenty plausible (I do it all the time), you might need to play at a higher sensitivity, but if you're playing a melee character in any game you really should up your sensitivity and get used to it.
Genuinely... quit complaining... the advantage is so minimal and just practice more instead of making excuses, it's lame and honestly quite silly that people choose THIS game to complain about it as I can't think of any other game that has such a balance.
Sidenote: Oni on console works just fine, maybe not Blight... because he's just hard to control in general... but yeah.
Sidenote 2: Separating these would make queue times like 8 years longer on console and screw that.
I play Console only queue's and they are fine.
I won't be turning on Crossplay until the Devs acknowledge the shitshow that is Console DBD, which they promised to fix way back in March of 2019.
https://youtu.be/PSa8yNir8wUtell me that's okay. I wasn't even in a chase, the game just decided it was gonna freeze.

Make Killer more fun and appealing to the average player.

Yes, the lack of killers is getting noticeable.
But people still call for killer nerfs. *shrugs*
Certain Killers do need toned down.
I don't think strength is the issue though. Killer just isn't fun.
It's mentally and, sometimes, emotionally draining and that's a bigger problem than any Killer being weak.

Yeah, they said the key nerfs will come. THEN they introduced hatch offerings.
I mean, they also said something about a early game version of the EGC. Which has been over a year ago and the last time they said something about it, they mentioned that it is now something completely different.
I guess we can take the time it takes until the early game EGC releases, to get an approximate estimation of the key nerf. +- 2 years.
I believe they said they scrapped the early game collapse idea entirely, iirc.
Key nerf is coming. Hopefully, the wait will make it worth it.
