Why even bother defending the last 3 gens

If as soon as you kill someone the 3 survivors left can all escape through the hatch without you being able to do anything through a key they found in a chest and left it there until the hatch spawned?

    You can try but you're right, with the current chest bug if they find a key in that scenario you pretty much just lose: unless the hatch is in the 3 gen then you myn't be able to close the hatch before all 3 escape.

    They don't always find a key in a chest and if they do; never just give up (even though that may seem like the easiest thing to do), the match can turn completely in your favour if someone messes up.

    And if there's no other option, just slug. Easier said than done, though.

    I've not been Key'd yet today.

    You can slug, preferably with Twins, as they are very good at it.

    The chest "bug" just makes keys spawn more often, they won't remove keys or remove the hatch. Survivors will still be able to find keys and if not they can still get 999 keys in the bloodweb. Seeing they already have one makes you force between choosing to tryhard and not have fun or dodge and spend another 10 minutes in queue.

    if you see a key in the lobby, equip franklin's demise.

    also if you're losing that badly then you should say to yourself "guess i'll just grind bloodpoints" and then focus on making the game worth your time. you don't have to win to get value.

    Franklin demise just makes them drop the key, they can just go back to the place they got hit and grab it again, it doesn't destroy the item.

    And if I am protecting 3 gens just fine I am not "losing that badly", how am I supposed to know survivors will be scum and after making a match last 30 minutes because they keep hiding they will just leave and immediatly win the game without doing the objective?
