Elden Ring and my nemesis, Malekith the Black Blade have taken my focus as of late.
Even prior to that, I haven't enjoyed DBD in a long while.

Nah. Every "big" online game has a cheater problem, regardless of how much they invest.
And with great power comes great performance issues which this game actually doesn't have (communication issues are not performance issues).
Also increased costs and revenue loss which either results in a loss of financial viability on an already old and dwindling game or an increase in monetization aggressiveness.
Not sure many people would sacrifice, say 1k auric cells rebate from rift premium pass in exchange for better anticheat that won't stop cheating anyway and might cause stuttering, raise cpu use and other potential issues.
I'll just take the game as it is and nevermind cheetos

You have no idea what platform they are on as console. A globe could be pc or any of the other consoles.
At least on pc you can figure out if a globe is windows store/egs by typing in the chat and if they type back, then they are on pc.
When a profile comes up as squares or has some extremely offensive name, it's almost always PC.

No offense, but when I hear people aren't sweating that much when I'm almost always sweating, it leads me to believe that my survivors are better on average.
I put far far far too much time into Killer.
If I wasn't better than most Survivors I played, I'd be embarrassed.
Most Survivors are pretty bad and can be manipulated fairly easily. Plus, I never gave Hatch nor did I ignore an opportunity to tunnel or camp.

I did play the match, but it was on Twitch and I didn't save it.
I did however, play them again as a Dwight later. I did record it and it's on the same channel as the first clip.

I had it off for years before I quit.
Unfortunately, you can't really keep it off on the Series X, the population is way too small. Even on the Xbox One, I was getting the same 3-ish teams consistently as Killer.
As Survivor though, I do have to say, my teammates were WAY better than what I was seeing afterwards.

All you've told me is that "normal" strats don't work on comp players.
Thank goodness there's like 200 total competitive DBD players. You aren't getting that caliber of player every match. You'd be unlucky to get them once every 2 months. They are FEW and far between.
The game isn't unwinnable just because you play Killer. Even before I quit, I was still managing a Kill Rate near 90%. The issue is that it's not fun for the Survivors when you play like that and it's not particularly fun for the Killer either, it was far too stressful.

Loving Dying Light 2. Been putting off doing the last mission so I can do all the side quests first, so I keep getting an annoying bug where the time of day won't change. If it's daytime, it will remain daytime permanently until I go to sleep or die, same thing with nights.
Other than that it's been a solid addiction of mine since release. Glad I pre-ordered the Deluxe!
My game was permanently infested with fog.
I may have also been gifted a Doom shotgun.

I'm sure we'll see changes soon if she needs them. They want people to play as and against her for a while to see how it goes. It's too early to complain right now. Again, they gave us some good buffs that people were asking for... I have no doubts that she'll get more buffs if needed.
In 3 months? When the Anniversary chapter drops, which will probably be hyped up?

Clown rework is a great example. His 'rework' didn't do anything for him.

You can't see your MMR, but you can see how your opponents play.
It WILL change from match to match. You can get a high-MMR squad and then a low-MMR brand new squad right after.

It's also STILL locked to a 100 second cooldown and can be completely controlled by Survivors iirc.
Tbh, I'd rather have Wraith's permanent 150% than Sadako's long cooldown, but that's probably a preference thing.

She's like the best Stealth killer in DBD. All we need is for a COH nerf and she'll be one of the best killers with these changes tbh.
I mean, stealth Killers aren't exactly strong. The strongest we've ever had was Wraith and he got hit with a huge nerf and CoH.
He's got better anti-loop but she has better game delay. I'll have to see how her Condemned plays out on live. It seems like it won't do much.

I think she MIGHT be at an acceptable point for release.
I don't think the buffs fixed her main issues (the lack of threat Condemned poses and her inability to close out chases) but they may put her in a good enough spot for now. She won't be in Legion-tier, so you might have some fun with her.
She's still weak, but not the worst licensed Killer. I'm still not particularly interested, but that's not really Sadako's fault.

Guys, I’ve completed four support tickets in the last month. Three of them were banned in a day. The fourth a little longer.

Out of my three reports of obvious cheaters, NONE of them were banned.

So far the game is pretty fun and addicting, and my que times are almost INSTANT. I only payed 20$ for this game and It is definitly worth that probably more.
Killer queue times will remain instant for the foreseeable future. There are far too few Killers.
Survivor queues are upwards of 10 minutes for me and my friends.
Likewise, there will come a point where you'll want DLC. Buy it on sale or use the free in-game currency. The game with all DLC is over 150 USD, iirc.

Yes, you would think that. Especially considering this game isn't...graphically intense.
They are a fairly large team now, nobody's really sure why simply QoL features aren't being implemented more often.

MMR is bad and it isn't really doing its job.
There is no way to practice. We've been asking for a practice mode for years.
The game is poorly optimized and seems to rely on your system brute forcing its way through. That's why the Xbox One X gets like 25 FPS.
I don't know if the game supports 4K.

So there was a huge surge of people between April and July and the rest of the year appears to just be DbD regressing to its normal base.
Which is also bad.
