Well I've heard it's still really difficult to deal with on console. I'm a PC player so I don't know what that's like.
But ignoring that, no, the main problem with it has been addressed. They do need to put the hooks back in RPD library though.
It's like trying to steer while someone else grabs the controller.

That patch hasn't come out yet.

I feel like DS is in a pretty good spot right now.

I'm actually really worried about Steve from those scenes in the trailer, feels like his character arch is going from a negative character (not quite an antagonist but you get it) in Season 1 to a hero. It makes sense that his end would be sacrificing himself, and I'm not ready for that at all-
I've long accepted that Steve, Mike and El are all probably dead. This sucks because they are my favorite characters.
I also think Jonathan is dead, just to ######### over poor Will even more.

Huh... No one escapes Steve?
The burnt guy in the trailer reminded me of Freddy.
However, new Steve perk, No One Escapes Steve.

If your going to give survivors a second objective then you also have to deal with camping and tunneling
Correct.

Its always the same with healing perks. The moment theyre viable killers gonna cry a river and the perk gets nerfed to be quite useless. Now, it will be even worse with hemorrhage buff. Just play sloppy and nurses and let them never heal again.
And watch gens fly? No thanks.
We need a secondary objective for Survivor. Desperately.
-
There are few Killers that LIKE camping and tunneling.
It DOES feel scummy and it was always in my mind that it basically ruins the game for the Survivor.
However, it's often necessary. Even considering the upcoming CoH nerf, it will still be difficult for many Killers to maintain adequate pressure during the match. Ergo, killing someone as fast as possible is the easiest and often the most reliable route to victory.
-
I wish I had recorded all 2-8 hours of a Dwight holding my game hostage on New Year's Eve.

Odd way of putting it. As if it is the survivor's fault and not the result of poor design.
Nurse breaks every rule that the game sets with other Killers.
It's certainly not the Survivors fault that Nurse will always be an outlier.
-
The no-heal meta saw Survivors focus gens which wasn't fun but at least hit and run Killers were viable.
The CoH meta has seen Survivors be able to focus gens AND heal, which is even less fun.

Play right after Reset.

Red ranks = Iridescent rank
Not really no.
You can find Nurse's at any Grade-level.
-
Because she literally makes me sick.
And she isn't just hard, you literally can't play her like a normal Killer. Even if you suck at Blight, you can still M1. You can't do that at all with Nurse.

biased and exaggerated.. you forgot nurse not easy as survivor
just other killers not being taken seriously because the nurse is too strong right now
and otz is not a bible kid, he is average sweaty player, nothing more
"Because Nurse isn't easy, she can be as OP as I want"
-
Circle of Healing gives 1500 BP per Bless so I run that
-
Because a good Nurse is not something the average player can compete with.

There was a reason Balanced was nerfed.
Don't bring it back.

Naturally. 'Survivors are proportionally more likely to be BM' =/= 'all survivors are BM'.
It's a role that tends to make people a bit toxic because for a lot of the game, you're lulled into a false sense of security - and then everything goes wrong.
I think you might enjoy reading this post from the ancient times before I joined DBD.
536 votes and 105 comments so far on RedditI think it explains quite a bit of the reasoning why the game can be so toxic.

They just nerfed t-bagging in the ptb jsyk. The animation from standing to crouching is so much slower that it makes quick t-bagging impossible.
this is funny.
however, i'd trade it for killing off the flashlight macro's
-
It's not.
It's probably THE strongest Survivor perk in the game.
The only three perks I can think of being stronger were PTB CoH, OG DS and release MoM.
-
It would be nice if they took a less...lax policy in regards to toxicity
-
Probably Windows of Opportunity for Survivor .
Maybe BBQ for Killer.

Nemesis or Legion

Probably Demo.

Yeah it happens sometimes, but I've only seen it a few times recently.
Technically, it's reportable, but you'll need video evidence, a lengthy report process, Fog Whisperer status and a signed affidavit from twenty witnesses. Yes, I'm kidding about the latter two...but it's still silly.
Oh, and those Ghostface mains are going to probably dry up once they realize that, unless you run very fancy addons, the Ghostface 'rework' comes out to a hefty nerf.
Ghostface getting a nerf will never not be funny.

im kinda sad that fingernails an addon in the first place. maybe im just being greedy though.
a ton of her add-ons should be base

Iridescent Tape is her best add-on.
Bloody Fingernail is also really good. I usually use those two in conjunction and it makes her much more enjoyable.

I noticed that much, no matter which killer I play it's the same skill level survivors I go against.
I lost thirty something games in a row with Nurse before I noticed much of a difference.
and then I retired from Killer and Solo Q Survivor. I only played again for these MMR tests.

I agree. What they got is not a rework. They were just some number tweaks.
let's go, we waited 3 years for number tweaks to Legion.
they are fine number tweaks tho don't revert them
-
Different Killer MMR is basically meaningless.
It probably does exist, but it may as well not for all the difference it makes.

@Valik said:
It's okay.
People who are buzzing about it are likely playing against lower tier survivors.
It may be useful in baby tiers, but once you start getting into matches where survivors know how to spread out their time and keep generators flying - it's not going to see all that much use.
Pop is a good synergy perk. You could run something like Pop and Brine on Freddy to deliver a powerful blow to a gen and let it regress for a bit longer - or you could take a different perk of better power - like NOED, Haunted Ground, Echo, and much more.
On paper it's brilliant, but it needs a rework to truly shine - as the faster games become, the less you kick gens and the less valuable the perk becomes.
I've found it to work great in conjunction with other slowdowns, as long as you have good game sense.
Corrupt. Buy some time in the early game to get a good set-up.
Pain Resonance. It's just good.
PGTW and CoB, knock 25% off of another gen and Ruin-regress it.
The idea is that the Survivors you are facing are good. They're spreading pressure and you know that. PR is gonna hit the most ideal gen and then you can option-select. Do you want to go for a different gen and regress it a ton? Or do you want to hit that PR-gen and knock it to zero?
I've found it to work quite well for me.

How was his basekit gutted...?
Without add-ons he's better than before.
He seems very easy to reveal.
I don't really think his changes did much for him.

I've honestly found The Game to be okay for Sadako, her stealth almost works consistently.
It's also good for Nemesis and Pyramid Head

Ok we get it. Survivor is OP blah blah blah. It’s the same old posts every single day, why can’t more people post about the killer/survivor they’re passionate for instead?
Because if I want to play Nemesis I have to lose 15-20 matches before I can start having fun.

Killers would abuse it. They would wait out of range and then you can tunnel survivor, BT is not threat anymore.
Something needs to do about BT bodyblock but it should not kill perk itself.
Make it 32m.
The Survivor now has time to get somewhere, even if the Killer stands at 32.01 meters away.
-

Thats actually how borrowed time used to work.
Not quite.
The old version only activated on TR, meaning it unfairly punished Killers like Doctor but allowed Killers like Ghostface and Freddy to camp for free.
My version sees the distance requirement (regardless of TR) return, but also implements a time requirement, so that Survivors have to consider how long the Killer has been in the area or suffer the consequences of a poorly planned play.
-
Honestly, I've always wanted BT to function off of a time and distance requirement (separate from TR).
Something like, "If the Killer is within X meters of the hook for X seconds, BT will be able to be applied to the unhooked Survivor."
That stops dumb plays like unhooking as soon as the Killers back is turned and still punishes people who are camping. You might make the counterargument that "Well, what if the Killer stands just outside that radius?" That's a great point, make the radius big enough that it gives the Survivors some time to run away before the Killer is on top of them.
-
Dead Hard does require skill to use it to its maximum effect.
That's why nobody complains about people who DH into walls.

Huge communication and synchronisation for bodyblocking. At high MMR it happens a lot and most of the time they all have the same nationality.
Using perks/games in the game doesn't mean they do not abuse. You guys should start to learn the meaning of a word before stating such things.
"Abusing game mechanics" means you are using broken things/unbalanced things to win. A SWF bringing all META things + strong items = abusing game mechanics.
Survivors running an infinite at every chases = abusing game mechanics (when they existed).
In a FPS, using a broken weapon when everyone know it will get nerf in a few weeks = abusing.
Whatever, defend the not defendable, 2 months we talk again about how many killers are still playing.
You have no idea if they were in a SWF or not. It could be that you're inexperienced and are making easily exploitable mistakes.
You can't just say things are broken and say people are abusing them because it's subjective. A SWF running Sabo isn't broken, imo, but someone else could think it is. I'm not interested in discussing subjective opinions.
-
How can you know for sure that they are SWF's?
You have a detector or something?
Likewise, they aren't abusing anything. They are using perks/strats/items in the game. Don't blame people for using them but you can definitely make your displeasure with said things known to the people who have the power to change them.
-
Probably Myers,

Why do players keep bringing up that survivors aren't scared of killers if it's so obvious? If players stopped bringing it up maybe I'd believe it were so obvious to them.
It's less fear and more respect, i think.
As a Killer, I need to respect the fact that Survivors can pre-drop every pallet and win. I need to respect their capability to pressure multiple gens. I need to respect the impact that one Survivor can make.
As Survivor, I've never really felt that way, at least on a macro level. There are some Killers that just aren't threatening. You need to respect Nurse's lethality and Blight's mobility sure, but Legion? Not so much.
So i would amend @WesCravenFan's statement by saying Survivors do not respect Killers. I think that's what gets us into trouble. You can't treat them all the same.
