Nurse is fine. Nurse is the ONLY KILLER that has true control in the match BASED ON SKILL. If she can PREDICT and TIME THE BLINKS properly, you lose. Even still, comp proves she's still nothing.
They're are TOO MANY BOOSTED POTATOES IN DBD!
"Nurse is the ONLY KILLER that has true control in the match BASED ON SKILL."
No she's not lol. You're joking, yeah?

I think he's fine.

What you just said is very interesting!😀
If a match against a nurse only lasts a few minutes, then the difference in level between the nurse and the survivors was really big 😣
A team that is organized and doesn't waste time can absolutely sweat a good nurse 😝
I'm not criticizing your gameplay, of course, but if a nurse manages to finish her game in a few minutes, it's because the survivors were not at the right level and/or made too many mistakes 😔
After that, the nurse may have played like a ******** and I understand that we can blame her, but that's not the point.
these emoji's are killing me brother
-
I won't DC but I struggle to blame people who do.
We play to have fun, that game is not gonna be fun.
-
They didn't back down on the NFT thing, iirc, so I didn't expect them to back down on this either.
-
Just give us controller settings.
-
Repressed memory unlocked.
-
I think it's because we're finally at a point where your own individual skill with a Killer matters more than their placement on a tier list.
If you are super good at Freddy, even though he has a lackluster kit, you can still do really well in most of your matches.

Aren't you lucky? Survivors who know what they're doing though are bringing the best exhaustion perk, as before. And as before, it's still Dead Hard. No distance, but still free mindgames, option selects which are new, sprint burst from getting hit, and a mere 40s of exhaustion. I don't see the downgrade. Good luck beating 4 of them.
I have no problem beating four DH's.
-
We cannot give this community the ability to control each other's reputation.

@legacycolt said:
Dead hard is fine now.
Also what do you mean by pallet vacuum and what does it have to do with dead hard?
Not sure what it has to do with DH but you can run past the pallet and then vacuum back by dropping it at the last second, making it look like you were running through it, but snapping back and remaining safe.
It's basically a super super super watered down version of the old vacuum vaults that I got to witness for like, a month lmao
-
Y E S
The Dead Hard nerf has genuinely been one of the most well-designed changes that BHVR has ever done. The perk is still good after it's changes but it's actually fair and takes skill to use.
-
I try not to tunnel, but it's just the easiest strategy to use.
But, I know how bad it can feel, so I'd rather we make going for new hooks more beneficial.
-
I can't say I think he's strong but honestly, I think if you're good enough at any Killer you can do well in most of your games.
I think that might be what I'm going to take away from those stats.
Are Nurse and Blight strong? Yes. But maybe now your skill at a character is worth more than the character's overall power level. I like that.

I've had people quit mid-match three times this week in about 9 games. One of those times was Pinhead, one was Clown, and one was Legion. The Pinhead one the person quit before I even got into a chase, no idea why. The other two just got mad I downed them and DC'd.
It's almost all sore losing, no other explanation needed.
Pinhead is incredibly frustrating to face when you aren't playing with a team.
Legion is so ######### boring that I stopped playing him because I felt bad.
Clown is...too powerful to be left alive.

There might be a problem with the server that disconnects people at random. That's probably the reason
Sneakilly i hope nothing actually is wrong and they turned off the penalties but not the detection of it. So everyone who mass dced gets 72+ hour bans after it gets reanabled to teach them a lesson. But that's a cruel fantasy
There's definitely server issues.

I’m on ps5 and my game didn’t crash a single time…
I'm glad you aren't having any issues, I wish I could steal a bit of that for myself
-
I'm not currently sure if this is a console-specific issue, but I figured it would be worth a post.
The game crashes a lot right now. I've crashed once in the last 3 months but since the Event went live, I've crashed almost ten times. Likewise, sometimes the game server just closes and you get DC'd.
https://youtu.be/K-wAR5xyFaYOne Survivor crashed here and the server closed for both the Killer and myself, meaning we didn't get BP, achievement progress, event progress or anything of the sort.
-
I mean, this has happened to me and my friends a couple of times today.
https://youtu.be/K-wAR5xyFaYGame just closes. The Killer and I got no BP or rewards from the game.
-
You must be getting extremely unlucky.
I haven't seen this at all.

Nope, it doesn’t. Obviously even one weak link can throw the match, which is why people complain. But 4 good survivors still have an advantage over killer
You're saying that there's no difference between a good Pinhead playing against 4 good Solo's vs a good 4-man SWF?
That's...definitely a take.
-
I haven't seen that at all.
I've seen less suicides on hook and more DC's, but the actual amount of games hurt by people giving up is the same for me.
-
@woundcowboy said:

No, it’s that most people are bad. Solo Q is still at an advantage over the killer if everyone is competent.
Depends on the Killer and the perks.
-
No, he was the worst Killer in the game back then.
He would do really well against new players who didn't understand how his power worked, but against even decent players he got decimated.
The people that liked him never liked him for his strength, rather it was his unique playstyle and design that drew them in.
-
I think it's for crashes.
I've crashed a couple of times on the Series X even though I haven't been playing too much recently.
-
I haven't noticed anything too out of the ordinary. I think people are blowing it out of proportion.
People DC just as much against Pinhead and Nurse as they did before. People still DC or suicide against facecamping Bubba. That Nea with a flashlight will DC after she sees you have Lightborn.

You’re super lucky then. I could hardly play a match yesterday without a dc. Out of around 10 killer matches I think, only 2 ended without anyone dcing.
I couldn’t even play Pig with a gimmicky build and zero slowdown without dcs. PIG.
I didn’t even try to play survivor yesterday.
I said I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, not that there weren't DC's.
People see an Iri Box Pinhead? They're out before and after the DC penalty is off.
They hear a Nurse after we get taken to Dead Dawg? Instant DC, before and after the penalty gets turned off.
I've had the same amount of DC's before and after. Only difference is now I'm not trapped in a lost game.

You cant punish one side because the other sucks. I have a feeling the when the do buff solo finally people are still going to have the same problems in solo. No amount of buff are going to fix bad players.
Nurse with good add-ons and good perks shouldn't be going against a full Solo team.
A Pinhead with Iri Box shouldn't be going against a full Solo team.
I could keep going. Scratched Mirror Myers should be on the opposite end of the spectrum.
-
Some Killers with certain add-ons should not be able to play against Solo Q.
-
I didn't even know it was off, I haven't noticed much of a difference.

So I'll just let them bleed out then if I'm going to be punished for hooking.
So because the Scourge Hook part is disabled and the regular hook is left standing, you'll bleed people out?
???
-
I could not physically stop my team from DC'ing against the three Iri Box Pinhead's.
I do not really blame them.
-
Nah, buff Solo Q right now.
Most Killers are fine against 95% of teams

Still punished for hooking.
Yes, because Scourge Hooks can be very powerful.
Getting rid of them while not destroying the Hook after a sacrifice seems like a good compromise

Before someone cries, "Skill issue!" as they usually do on this specific topic.
I don't think this is a massive issue but I do agree that it doesn't make much sense to have it anymore.
Maybe if a Survivor is sacrificed on a Scourge Hook, it'll lose its Scourged status?
-
They do not have aim assist.
-
I'd recommend a Series X with GamePass but if you've got 3K, I'd just build a desktop.
-
This has been a known issue.

@Pulsar any news you can share about this?
Btw why has not a single bhvr staff replied here?? 135 pages and that's still not relevant enough for them?
Mandy is a CM for BHVR and checks in regularly.
Also, the same news as usual. The same or worse on Xbox One and PS4. More stutters and frame drops and maps that barely function.
Series X and PS5 are starting to have issues on newer maps too. Garden of Joy, Haddonfield and RPD specifically

I was having fun, because it was the first decent team I had gone against in quite a while, while on the verge of quitting due to what I called high mmr survivors "bots with perks". Especially the guy named Yooni, he actually knew how to play against blight and then he dc'ed first followed by the other three within 2 seconds, it was quite jarring when it happened. I was having enough fun to run to the other side of the map to let them reset with their builds, guess that's when they decided to dc. Guess I didn't answer your question, 4 min in I think. And I genuinely do not think they would have gotten steamrolled at all if they were actually trying to win.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3226037#Comment_3226037
Also yes the reason I even had half a full meta build on blight back then was because I didn't feel the players I was going against were good, just running good builds and didn't feel the deserved to win. But I quit until 6.1.0 probably two weeks later because sweating like that wasn't fun, I just want to get better at blight not try hard to win as that usually doesn't improve mechanical skill on blight doing the most efficient methods to win as killer. High mmr has improved drastically in terms of survivor skill level since then, if enough players are playing for matchmaking to you know work. Not a bunch of boosted survivor players. Now it's the killers who are the boosted one's playing full gen kick, 3 gens. I despise perks and strategy's that take away gameplay other than slugging.
Now I just run chill builds with no slow down and random assortments of add-ons. Alch ring went from strong to unfair after 6.1.0 imo. Although it makes me sad because rushing = fun, alch ring = more rushes = more fun, green speed = faster rushes = more fun. I can pretty much say a decent amount of blights run those add-ons because of that. So if I am running alch ring it's just shadowborne, bbq and lethal.
Most Blight's run those add-ons because they make winning easier.
-
It's from people who have gotten stomped one too many times.
I do genuinely feel for them because what do you do when you really try to have fun/win and you still can't?
Anyways, the game promotes a toxic gameplay feedback loop where it feels so ######### to lose that you'll stack everything in your favor to avoid that, hence you get matches like this.
-
Those will likely be changed if the Mori update goes through.
-
He never should've been added. He feels like a poor cash-grab attempt.
Likewise, his gameplay is bad. He is either extremely oppressive and basically uncounterable or FAR too easy to counter.
He's completely unplayable for the majority of players.
-
Here
-
Because they suck to play as and they suck to play against.

theres definitely better things to add out there first but the problem is these companies/creators don’t get involved with bhvr right away. Sometimes it can take months or years to obtain a license, or even not be obtainable at all. whereas this creator is literally asking to get involved with bhvr. If they can get other more popular ones first, sure I’d be down for that but if not then why not add this license first?
in my opinion his films arent any less “horror” than some of the killers we have in the game. I could be totally wrong by saying this but I haven’t watched it in years so I don’t remember but where is the horror in stranger things? (Excluding season 4 because the dlc came out before 4) I don’t remember it being a “horror” film. And I also could be totally wrong with this one but where is the “horror” in resident evil? Isn’t it basically zombies? Maybe a couple jumpscares throughout the game? Not really any different than the terrifier. Plus they’re literally adding the “wazzup” scream skin lol that’s more goofy than horror
Horror-inspired was not an accidental word choice.
Sometimes, things just aren't scary to us. Is Halloween scary 40 years after it's release? Not really, no.
Stranger Things and the early Resident Evil games are pretty clearly horror-inspired. I would go as far to say that ST Season 1 and RE2 are both horror in and of themselves.
I never actually played RE5, but it does seem more action-oriented with a horror background.

That was person implying that survivors have no chance without Dead Hard. That isn't the case.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3224565#Comment_3224565
And I am telling you that survivors are already escaping without Dead Hard and removing it won't be the end of the world for survivors.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3224567#Comment_3224567
There are situations where you can outplay it and can't. I already provided an example. Say you are a chasing a survivor to a pallet and it's a close chase where you must lunge or they will reach the pallet, there are only 2 possible outcomes (let's assume you don't know whether the survivor has Dead Hard or not):
- you try to outplay/bait Dead Hard but the survivor doesn't have it, so they just drop the pallet and you miss the hit
- you lunge and don't try to outplay Dead Hard. They Dead Hard and you get punished
You see how it's just completely RNG on whether or not you manage to outplay Dead Hard or not?
They don't have a chance with DH either.
If a Killer wants to ruin your match, DH isn't gonna make a difference lol.
