Might be possible with add-ons but you said he didn't have, so he may 99 you and play with you food is really useful with if know how to use it.

Could have been a hacker but he would have used add-ons to cover his hacks and make them stronger, that common just to make you think they're not hacking.

Obviously those hacks just make you a little bit faster or faster blind

In my experience playing dbd this past few days this is just the small example of tomf*ckery i've seen in dbd, Huntress with malfunctioning aimbot, Trapper with speed boost (no add on or perks) who doesn't even use traps, he just m1s everyone. which was funny cause he's quite fast he misses his lunge.

  • SHHHHH don't spill it they might learn about it and nerf the pig again.

  • Doctor - I hate his add-ons

Wraith - This thing is the most efficient Tunneler and Face camper in Low MMR, this thing has killed more newbies than nurse and blight combined. This has both the characteristic of No brains necessary and fast as f*ck when tunneling an unhooked survivor.

If i ever see a wraith in low mmr, i already expect my whole team would die to it due to them only having 2 switches in their brain, Crouch and Run.

  • Killer: Hag

Add-ons: Bloodied Mud and Rusty Shackles

Perks: No Way Out, Blood Warden, Hex: NOED and Thrill of the hunt.

Thrill and Noed is OP as long as you can protect it.

It's quite likely he was using his own teachable perk, Play With Your Food, to gain movement speed. On top of that he has addons to walk faster while stalking, though they alone won't get you near normal walking speed.

To add onto this, it's entirely possible you could've just gotten unlucky and been the one he had his stalk 99'd against 5 times. Unless it was consecutively I'd say this sounds entirely plausible- unlucky, certainly, and the game probably should've been over before use 4, but plausible.

that was what i was trying to understand, he never slows down to stalk, which was ridiculous, there was 3 gens left and only 2 of my team mates survived and was doing gens, I was the one he was getting his stalk the whole time, but he managed to pull off 2 tier 3s on me mid chase without slowing down, i had to lure him to 1 of my teammate(who died very quickly right after) just to survive due to the lack of pallet in the whole map. I managed to pre-drop them all and I was using Windows of Opportunity.

He was so fishy cause he was a little too fast for an m1 killer and even if he misses he doesn't lose speed.

It was so intense and i was practically against an infinite tier 3 myers for that whole match and i manage to avoid him just by a hair's breadth.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

Were you at least looking behind you most of the time so you could confirm he wasn't stalking you during that time?

Of course i am, i may not have stretched res but i always keep my eyes on the killer and also i know to avoid LOS. he's just stalking and walking faster than normal speed. which is ridiculous.

  • I caught a brand new hacker who was just adjusting his cheats for the first time, He has Wallhacks and aim lock as huntres, he was playing good at first but suddenly he just throwed an axe through a wall where my teammate was healing close at, it was very precise and he did it twice, it was funny cause i was downed back then and i saw it happening right there, and later after the match i checked his perks and there was no nurse calling. he was kind to my team mate for the whole game after that, but i still reported him.

  • This is going to tank the quality of matches within the SBMM bracket.

It has already made some killers feel worst and it have destroyed my SoloQ experience in an effort to be inclusive with newer players.

They probably chose this method so they won't have to be bothered in balancing the SWF Meta. (cause statistics)

either way the game will soon find out its losing its playerbase as there isn't really a choice to play comfortably in this chaotic rankings.

You're either the one carrying or you're the one having to be carried, but 2 good players aren't enough to make up for the mistake of 2 bad players.

you also forgot to address the part where players farm other players for BP by hooking and slugging them multiple times but not killing them,

it's makes newbies feel miserable when they get toyed and slugged for a long time and the killer aren't facing any resistances. (it was fun as the killer)

  • @TruffleTurtle said:

I'm starting to care less and less about if I win and wanna experiment with killers I'd usually not play. Is he fun to play as? I tried beforehand on release but he felt awful.

if you like camping for kills and tunneling, yes, against bad maps and good SWF you'll be forced to. but the payoff is huge if you catch SWF in a bad spot. they won't be able to recover as long as you're not a potato.

  • @Pulsar said:

    30 straight L's.

I quit playing Killer normally (because it's no longer fun whether I win or lose) so I decided to try to play Killers I have never played before in hopes that it would be a fresh experience.

Apparently, that was a mistake because I've lost 30 straight games while trying to learn Nurse.

Do the people making this game understand how ######### demoralizing it is to get clicked at, t-bagged and generally treated like a joke for thirty goddamn games? I had someone send me a TWITCH WHISPER to "learn how to play Killer gg baby Killer."

I had hoped that my MMR would lower enough to the point where I might get people on my skill level, but apparently not. I'm getting the exact same perk set-ups and the exact same people as my first games. It's not even that my MMR is high, I'm just BAD at Nurse because I've NEVER PLAYED HER BEFORE. I can't aim blinks and can't land hits and I'm never going to be able to because my games are ending before I get to learn ANYTHING.

Is this a rant/vent post? yes. Am I pissed? yes. Is this meant to be taken seriously? not really. Am I close to not being able to find any enjoyment in this game. also yes.

Is this for real? not even 1 match? how?

  • @Mandy said:

As a survivor I've never heard Whispers from the killer if they're using the perk...if you have video evidence of this I'd like to see it as pretty certain that would be a bug.

You can't tell as a survivor if a killer has Whispers - you can make an educated guess by the killers actions, but there's no in-game notification of it.

(Doctors madness exempt from this, as you do have a whispering effect then regardless whether the doc is using Whispers or not, it's not connected to the perk)

i guess i was mistaken, sorry. i only remembered hearing whispers as a survivor some games before and it made me assume it was this perk. thank you for telling me.

I also run it with ghost face minutes prior and survivors kept avoiding me whenever i got close and i check end game they have no spine chill so i thought it was the whispers.

My mistake, this was a bad misunderstanding.

  • Respect+

    Thanks for the tldr.

  • Same category as Demogorgon, quite balanced but only needs minor tweaks.

  • Hex: Blood Favour

    because:

    Survivor gets hit*

    Me: "Run Faster" :)

  • I know the in's and out's of legion so i like playing against a good legion with proper odds of course, not with a potato team.

  • that Nurse must be from the the No Life Squad, i don't brag playing nurse, but i do complain a lot specially with BS odds.

  • You did great though, these people on the other hand, just want results tipping on their favor regardless of the means so they all just go for each others throat without in depth value or meaning,

This game needs to balance out SWF and SoloQ first then buff the Killers so they can truly gauged the quality of every matches rather than focus from the results of low mmr potato survivors and bad killers who can't even chase and just camp kills.

The devs couldn't even be bothered to make important features and they mostly only do it because the community is forcing them to do it.

I find there are two legions the ones that will use frenzy to hit multiple survivors to gain advantage or for stacks on Thantaphobia and the ones that will use frenzy hit one survivor and cancel it so which one are you.

sometimes i use it to tunnel out SWF and slugging with legion can be good if you know what you're doing and you have the right perks also with the right circumstances. just don't waste too much time chasing one individual, you can use your frenzy to run into a location you know they're doing gens. STBFL will save you a lot of time when you get there.

  • Both, frenzy is quite useful even for just one person, chase them until they drop the pallet then vault and block it, always make them go the long unsafe way, also using frenzy helps STBFL as it won't cause for your stacks to decrease. also make sure they drop the safe pallet first or leave the safe loop so you won't waste too much time.

I like blocking windows and pallets with legion, STBFL saves you a lot of time when your frenzy is on constant cooldown.

  • Clown for perks and farming, Spirit if you want to have good perks and good killer, twins if you want to be creative,

Alt 3 are B tier at best, maybe not spirit.

  • It's one of the map i'm good at dodging nurses. Learn it, its not that bad. who even gets lost in it after 10 games?

  • It's fair compared to his weak basekit, for being one of the weakest killer in the game its a good balance that you can just execute everyone, for looking down on myers so much.

  • Who even complained it wasn't fair in the first place before the buff? It was fair when it was just for distance cause atleast you can expect it happening only in loops but now it has F*ing invincibility frames.

Just a pub stomper, overrated, if survivors know how to verse a hag, a hag will get 0 hooks before 5 gens

Guide to make someone never play hag again

Let them trap a 3 gen, and make it so there's only 1 gen left, 4v1 the 3 gen, angle your camera facing away from the trap then run into it, this will flip your camera so you will start running away as soon as you set off the trap so even a scroll wheel hag can't hit you, exception is ping issues. Clear all her traps then split in 2's to the furthest gens in the 3 gen, as soon as the hag goes to one, pre leave and she can't commit because she's 110%, if someone get's hit just reset across the map then repeat until 5th gen is done.

This doesn't even include the typical stacked meta perks of prove, DH, and COH etc that will make this even easier

Yeah, Sure, tell that to my NOED, No Way Out, Blood Warden and STBL Build.

  • @tenoresax said:

I wouldn't call any of the Blighted skins stealthy, the serum stains are very visible.

Yeah, if only it doesn't light up like a Christmas tree, for the price it might as well have a toggle to go on and off so i can act like a christmas star while on the hook.

  • They run out of ideas with this one so they just grabbed a couple of features from other killers, placed them in a box and shuffled it then did whatever they got out of it, and what can i say? It's completely lifeless and repetitive, place a crow here, run over there, rotate the other direction, its like doing your taxes, you don't want to do it, but you have to.

There's not much room for creative gameplay other than chasing the survivor in the other direction. effective but boring.

Don't misunderstood i play hag for fun and competitive purposes, but even hag has more creative gameplay than this.

  • You mean stacking perks like Devour hope?

  • I'm running the perk Left Behind, what do you think?

  • Slippery Meat, Unbreakable, Plunderer's Instinct and Left Behind.

We all knew that the only way through solo q is through that hatch.

  • Don't worry, I still use Spine chill + Iron Will just to make sure Spirit Mains would have something to complain about in the forums.

    1. Perks before Quirks.
    2. Your outfit would be a nice hanging decoration along with you if you underestimate a good killer.
    3. I rather buy real clothes than show off in a video game.
  • Its a troll but i do have some nuanced opinion about the artist,

The Artist's abilities is getting pretty stale so quickly, its too clunky and repetitive, most of the time

Its just the low skill ceiling shot that makes and breaks the game its practically just place birds on obvious loop angles wait for target to react to the trap and m1 as they try to W far from the loop. It's practically a monotonous chase all day no brains required.

  • The hook placement is abysmal who even thought that making them randomly spawn so they could be close together was a good idea?

  • I've been seeing some Mikaela running Shadow step instead of exponential, and I've seen a lot of matches where they could have survived if they just brought exponential instead of shadow step, specially in indoor multi level maps.

Exponential does have great value if used correctly.

  • Tombstone Myers, it gets extremely annoying if he's running Blood Warden perk just to get a 4k against newbie Solo Q team. But i survived, That was one of my most clutched Unbreaking + Soul Guard game i've ever played.

I run Hunch a lot and it's still difficult to memorize each location, but that's just from my experience.

Hunch is a pretty weird perk to complain about tbh, and this is the first time I've seen someone do so. It requires a generator to be completed in order to have it activate, which could take up to 80 seconds and at the very least 35-50 seconds with multiple people on a single gen, and without toolboxes.

The issue is totem spawns, as @ThatOneDemoPlayer said.

Not if they're gen rushing, one fat stack of a nasty toolbox and prove thyself is enough to make a killer crumble early game, and couple that with Detective's hunch, any Ruin + Undying or Hex perks you got lying around will be gone in the first few minutes of the game.

I've been running around with this perk for the last 5 hours and my memory did not once fail me from cleansing ruin, undying, devour, blood favor. thrill, after just one or two gen pops maximum.

Its so easy to just skip dull totems once you've confirmed them and just go for the next one then repeat until you see something that glows.

Yes most of the time i am not able survive with this meme build since i have no exhaustion perk, but i did a lot of damage before the killer could even recover or snowball their game without their main hex perks.

Its not just the totem placement, its the perk that reveals them halfway across the map even if they're hidden that makes them useless.

64 meters (+16 meters if your team has open handed) couple that with 40 meters of running around makes this perk almost global range.

  • @glitchboi said:

Hunch is balanced as it is. Sometimes the totem you find won't even be a hex totem, since it's a 20% (1 out of 5 totems) chance.

It also takes skill to use (unless you use a map), since you have to memorize the location of the totems from the auras.

it takes skill? what kind of skill? unlike killers, survivors doesn't get tunnel vision everytime they look at the killer.

also you would be able to spot 4 totems at most in one single gen pop if you look carefully enough and run around during that 10 seconds.

  • Learn to jump lobbies, if you see that you're in a crossplay team, ditch as fast as you can as they'll most likely be newbies or fodder, unless you're in high mmr.

  • @Faulds said:

That add-on is clearly busted. It turns a weak killer into a "too" strong one (you need to be boosted, like me, to fail at downing survivors with it). But on another hand... it is so much fun to use. I played that add-on with a stupid build (devourer/ haunted/ undying): i think that it is how it feels to use boons (you thought you get rid of my power? I guess not HA HA HA). Before, i was thinking that this add-on shouldn't be a thing. But i don't know anymore. Even if i think it does deserve a nerf if we are honest.

    What's your thoughts?

It's balanced. if anything they should buff clown's bottles to be twice as much or each potion should have different reserve seeing as they are so underwhelming.

If you can screenshot the name, you can add it in on the report - if you are unable to type out the name.

Is it possible to leave the gamertag blank or should i put something else as placeholder? sorry for bothering.

  • @Mandy said:

With other platforms other than Steam, all you need to put is the gametag of the player - so the in-game name, as these are not able to be changed as easily on other platforms as they are on Steam (which is why we ask for Steam 64ID for Steam players as players can change names easily on that platform).

If you put that information on the ticket as well as a link to the video evidence, the information can be taken from the report.

Can i ask for an extra question, is it possible to report the person even if his gamer tag is one sentence long and in mandarin? are there any other option? thank you.

  • @Unicorn said:

In all my days of playing Dead by Daylight, I'm proud to say I have never messaged another player anything toxic or antagonizing despite how tilted I was playing Killer or Survivor. I get titled a lot with how some people play this game, but lately I find myself being okay with a Killer tunneling me. Mostly it's because of how bad the state of playing Killer is right now. Overall, I've come to the conclusion that regardless of the current state of Killers, it is their job to kill you in any way whether it be a boring, unfair, or "distasteful" strategy. Yes, it sucks to be tunneled out of the game, but you'll have plenty of more games to look forward to.

So, the question is posed. Do you still find yourself getting mad that you get tunneled? Be honest. I look forward to intriguing discussions ^-^

    Edit: Typo.

Camping and tunneling in Low MMR is annoying and downright bad. it shouldn't incentivize bad killers from making the game so boring, like seriously, 3 gens in and i'm still waiting for the killer to get out of the hook and chase someone else cause the game is getting too stale.

It was fine for the first few matches after that it just stops making any sense, it only averages them of 1 - 2 kills if your team is decent in soloq, 4k if your team keeps unhooking, just think of how disappointed they'll be once they try it against SWF team and fail so hard, like is that all you know, you're so proud of camping the hook and making 2 kills but can't catch a good survivor in an unsafe loop?

You don't know how many times, new killers boast their 2 kills against bad survivors who doesn't know when to unhook, "haha gg ez bait",

It's more frustrating when you're a killer main who actually works hard to earn 4k in every game at high mmr just to get wasted in soloq because of bad teammates and face camps.

I blame the Epic game release.

  • @Edilibs said:

These are good 3 perk combinations and there are more so what do you think are good perks (3) that synergize and or are good together?

    Survivor:

    Open Handed/Bond/Kindred

    Saboteur/Breakout/Empathy

    Dead Hard/ Descisive/ Unbreakable

Boon: Shadownstep/ Exponential/ Circle of Healing

Plunderers Instinct/ Ace in the Hole/ Apprasal

    Tenacity/ Power Struggle/ Flip Flop

    Killer: Hex: Undying/Haunted Grounds/Retribution

    Fire Up/ Brutal Strength/ Bamboozled

Dying light/ Scrouge Hook: Pain Resonance/ Thanatophobia

Blood Warden/ No Way Out/ Hex: No One Escapes Death

    Corrupt/ BBQ/ Pop

    Spirit Fury/ Enduring /Brutal Strength

Boil Over, Saboteur, No Mither, you can't spell funeral without fun (Coffin Dance Edition.)

  • Depends if you're a bad killer that just wants to make the game miserable for everyone then you're a piece of sheet, but if you're a great killer against 4 DS + Meta Perks in high mmr its justified.

As a Survivor, ever since the Epic Games release I've been seeing way too many weak killers who just camp on hook because they can't be bothered to use their brain in chases other than repeatedly pressing m1 when a survivor got too close to the hook.

Sadly as a Killer main its too damn predictable and boring to watch, I play Legion for fun even at High MMR and this guys can't even be bothered to press W far away from the hook, they're not even trying. They're just beating bad survivors cause they won't leave the hook and SoloQ newbies keeps unhooking.

Funny thing is I'VE HAD A WRAITH WHO TOLD ME GG EZ BAIT FOR CAMPING 2 HOOKS THE WHOLE GAME. and i just laughed thinking this guy doesn't even know how to play the game, and he thinks he's a good killer standing there playing guard duty simulator against SoloQ. lol
