  • Despite Blight Ghostface being possible, it wouldnt be available through the event considering they have to pay the license for the character. At the very least, it would be Auric Cells only.

  • The 2-perks per bloodweb change made it so much easier. Honestly, its fine as it is now, and it will be for a while.

    Tier List:

    S-Tier

    • Feng Min - because she's so cute!!! Bunny Feng Now please shut up and take my money.

    A-Tier

    • Laurie - Laurie mains tend to be great at looping the killer and are very competent players.
    • Dwight - Dwight player tend to play smart but have a tendency to DC sometimes when the match goes bad for them at the start of the game. Good at all typical survivor tasks and is usually considerate of teammates.
    • Ash - Ash players tend to be good at looping and you can rely on them to waste the killer's time.
    • Steve - Steve players are usually very good at the game and they usually take one for the team. His natural camou also makes him good as a stealth player.
    • Ace - tends to be great loopers and sometimes they'll bring a nice Open-Handed perk to boost my Bond. I give him two cheers.
    • Bill - one of the best teammates to have always has Borrowed Time and can be counted on for safe hook rescues.

    B-Tier

    • Jeff - Jeff players tend to be good players. Never had a Jeff sandbag me. Would be higher if only heweren't so big, hard to stealth with him.
    • Jane - Jane mains are similar to Jeff, tend to be good players but are lousy at stealth. Usually play well and for some reason I see a lot of them packing instaheals which they use on you.
    • Kate - Kate mains tend to be good at looping but also tend not to be team players. But she wears sexy outfits so I stare at her while she does gens and miss my skill checks.

    C-Tier

    • Meg - Meg players tend to be good at the game and know how to run the killer. But they usually dress in bright white flashy outfits and they usually don't know how to play like teamplayers.
    • Francis - tends to lonewolf, good at stealth, not a teamplayer usually but not a bad teammate all-in-all and tends to be reliable.
    • Tapp - Tapp is similar to Francis but is more team-oriented, I like playing with Tapps in my team.

    D-Tier

    • David - always runs around naked, loves to farm hooks and always plays dangerously. Sometimes is a good looper but usually messes up with his stupid heroics.
    • Jake - Usually plays like a David but has more tendency to be good at looping.
    • Nancy - Nancy players are similar to Claudettes for some reason and we all know she likes to hide in lockers. She puts Dwight to shame.

    F-Tier

    • Claudette - always hiding in the corner of the map, never does gens, when you're on the hook she's busy self-caring or hiding in a locker. She also sandbags and farms. Really good at bringing the killer to your gen. She is by far the worst teammate in general.
    • Nea - queen of sandbagging and usually just Crab walks the entire map, always plays it safe, never does gens in killer radius and generally annoying as a teammate.

    Omega-Tier

    • Quentin - not enough data Legendary Pokemon doesn't show up on my Pokedex. Will Reserve judgement.

Small comment on Bill. If BT triggers, its not a safe unhook. :P

  • Really tough choice between Clown and LF.

On the one hand, LF has seniority over Clown. He has been the worst Killer for a while, with only a couple of add-ons that actually benefit him for being a rushed copy-paste of Hillbilly.

On the other, Clown has been left neglected ever since release. He represents BHVR's first chapter after their independence from Starbreeze, he deserves better. His underpowered-ness comes from bugs (partly), not intended mechanics, and thats sad. He is also a freaking killer clown, one of the most interesting themes. Way more potential than LF.

Does it stack? Like if you healed that person to 99% then started healing another teammate for the 1% to activate the perk, is it like that currently or do you have to heal one survivor fully and if they already started healing then would it not count and reset the perk?

It does stack. Ever since the last hotfix, it will show the progress for it to trigger.

We'll make it exists. But even if they see the little icon, its still useless because self-care.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/719093#Comment_719093

idk really, heal atleast 50% or 75% would be nice.

Then you would be saying "I healed this person by 74%/49% and it didnt trigger! Hmph! Trash perk and devs!".

Second Wind needs only two things:

    - Show to nearby people you have it.

    - Make it consider coop-heals, medkit heals and Well Make It heals the same as a normal heal.

  • If you dont want to move, you can always just hold M1. Prevents you from getting crows because you are still "recovering", even though you arent making any progress.

  • Darkness Among Us comes to mind, ya know?

  • I only just unlocked Second Wind yesterday. So fad, I have only used it on Steve and it has worked very well overall. There were very few cases I was unable to use it, but Second Wind isnt bad at all.

  • Maybe we should look this the other way round. For Clown at least, maybe he shouldnt need to refill bottles or receive a slowdown. 😗

  • What I didnt like about the Moonrise event was the Killer's part of the event. Not only you had to give up pressure to look for a lantern (or having to memorise its location), but also it didnt work with Survivors on death hook or if they were saved instantly. Once again, high mobility Killers gain more benefits while low mobility ones get the shorter end of the stick. Thats why I think, for now, the Event Hook system is fine the way it is. Sure, it doesnt change much from usual gameplay, but at least it does not hinder you. If there is another way to make it special, then it needs to be better implemented than how it was during Moonrise.

As for the generators change, same here. I dont find it particularly good. For once, I actually liked looking for cankers, it was something else to look for other than totems or generators. The only problem with this system was using an offerings and ending up with little progress because everyone else looked for them. Still, I liked the "steady grind" aspect more than the "risk it all" version of Moonrise. That said, from a Survivor perspective, Moonrise was good though. At least you got points for holding the lanterns.

  • Surveillance and Bamboozle being just "decent". Remember Me and Furtive Chase not being a waste of a perk slot. Bloodwarden, Haunted Ground and Discordance being so high up. Oh boy.

You’re not really equipping it to have it reveal someone on the other side of the map in the hope you can take advantage of the 15 seconds of exposed.

It serves a few niche purposes:

    • legion where killer instinct my have indicated that a survivor is in a locker, thus you have 50% opening speed to minimise the amount of FF gauge you’re depleting by opening the locker.
    • Huntress is an obvious one.
    • The other purpose is to punish those survivors that like to enter and exit a locker very fast as your about to strike as means of making you miss. Now you’re right by them and you’re very likely to down them during that 15 second window.
    • It’s also a FANTASTIC deterrent for team mates that would usually quickly try to get into lockers by the basement as you’re carrying someone down there. Their plan being to wait until you leave the basement.
    • Now survivors have Inner Strength, Iron Maiden now counters this as well.

About the first point, pretty sure Legion's Frenzy pauses completely while performing interactions.

  • Exactly. Which is the same way for both Killers and Survivors. At least you are seeing those skins as Survivors. Killers dont get more mori animations or special powers from prestiging. They get skins they cant even see, except for the weapon.

I am not saying prestiging shouldnt be more relevant. It definitely should. But you still should only prestige characters you play regularly. You play Ace and Claudette? Then there you go. You want to play more characters? Then prestige them. You want to prestige characters you barely play? Thats your choice as well, but dont complain about lack of BP when you need them for something else.

  • Not sure what you are saying. There is as much incentive to prestige Survivors as there is for Killers. If anything, there is even less incentive for Killers because you only see their weapon most of the time.

  • So, a perk that encourages tunnelling? And if you have BT, are you FURTHER encouraging unsafe unhooks?

  • I like both changes and wish they had came sooner.

  • You make me feel

Yes, except for the fact that match making got horrible the same time the released the chapter. The link is indirect, but still there.

Not sure where you were, but matchmaking was screwed up before rank reset or even the PTB.

  • Make it come with a Gauze Roll or Bandages add-on at the very least.

  • Unsure between Demogorgon, Spirit, Clown, Doctor or Hag.

Demo's roar is sheer power, and I love it.

Spirit's sword retracting into her wrist is always amazing.

Clown's is simple. A straightforward sweep. But he laughs, mocking the Survivor.

Doctor's is nice. Like saying "You are next" or "You wont escape".

And Hag's, "bathing" in the blood of her "enemies".

I did this on the Friday the 13th forum, but I said DBD was better, and they got so triggered. DBD forums seems to be much harder to bait.

Thats because everyone here knows the truth, and those on that other shall-not-be-named board also do, but choose to ignore it.

  • I have only used it on Steve, just because I am still levelling him up for the teachable. So far, I have been able to pull off the heal in nearly almost every single match. So, I have no problem with it.

My only request is for it to take into account when others are healing, or at the very least show that you have it equipped to people nearby. The latter one should also work with Solidarity and Autodidact.

  • LF B tier, Clown D tier, Demogorgon and Pig C tier.

    *Fites you*

  • Back when Legion was released, I saw that cosmetic (the one on the OP) and instantly made my mind to purchase it after unlocking Legion. Even to this date, I havent even taken it off. That much I love it.

    Undetectable is okay.

Honestly though the devs are caught between a rock and a hard place with Undetectable. If Spine Chill/Premonition work on Stealth Killers then the Stealth Killers still aren't very good at stealth; it's just Killer aura reading perks (which are already not great) getting nerfed. If Spine Chill/Premonition don't, then they become nearly worthless perks.

    It's a lose-lose.

As for Oblivious, it's a terrible concept right now. There are tons of issues caused because of it.

OoO prevents any mind games on an Oblivious Survivor; Coulrophobia, Unnerving, Overwhelming, Dark Devotion and Infectious Fright all become useless against Oblivious Survivors; The Doctor loses half his power against Oblivious Survivors; Prayer Beads Spirit is even stronger against Oblivious Survivors and Spirits without Prayer Beads are weaker against Oblivious Survivors; The Legion goes back to their pre-Rework state against Oblivious Survivors; Borrowed Time becomes worthless if either Savior or Savee have Oblivious; and the Comms-Noncomms Survivor gap becomes even bigger.

Oblivious might be okay in the future, but at this point it'd make things worse rather than better for the game.

I dont see whats wrong with Oblivious. M&A on Doctor has existed for a long time now, and the best option has always been to just not use the perk (unless you are doing a special buuld). Same deal with Oblivious. Its not a base mechanic, its only for certain Killers and possibly perks in the future. All optional stuff. You can perfectly choose to pair or not pair stuff together.

  • Just a couple of notes.

First off, I disagree Blindness affects solos more than SWF. I believe its the other way round. Literally the only time Blindness is remotely impactful is while being on the hook, and even then its a minor annoyance. A solo doesnt need to see the aura of someone, they can just chill on the hook and expect to get rescued or die. SWF, however, will try to relay this info. "Dont come, this other person is on their way". With Blindness, SWF have to guess whether someone is coming for their hooked friend or not.

However, as I said, its not powerful at all, and agree it needs something, and I agree with most of your idea.

The only point I disagree with is hiding interaction prompts. Not because its broken, rather because its useless. You are injured? You can definitely use Dead Hard. Can you repair this generator/unhook/vault? Yes, I am right in front of them. The only time I see this being useful is for Trappers hiding their traps in tall grass.

Hiding the rest, Im fine with those.

  • How would this pair with Stake Out though. I know that its "perk synergy" and all that, but with this combo you are significantly lowering the risk while retaining its usual reward.

Always amazed how many Killer Players actually want to tunnel.

Always amazed by how many Survivors rely on unsafe unhooks.

  • Hell, if anything, this is how BT should work for every Killer.

  • You should have seen the textureless/icy generators.

  • I am that type of person that prefers being as optimal as possible in every situation when it comes to resources in games. If I have it unlocked, I will 100% use it, for the extra BP. Same deal with WGLF.

  • Because Quentin is bae.

Also, remember the DLC is based on the remake, not the entire franchise. In the remake, Nancy was a useless hero. Quentin did most of the work. Nancy, in that movie, wasnt nearly as memorable as she was on other movies or Quentin himself.

Worth mentioning, Quentin was the first "teen male" Survivor. The only one for a long while, until recently with Steve. All other male Survivors are older. Dwight, Jake, David, Ace. Even the ones after him, Tapp, Adam, Jeff, Ash. All of them grownups, compared to him.

Quentin is one of the main reasons why I bought the game.

  • @RIP_Legion said:

Honestly I could care less about Oblivious being introduced as a killer I don't really see the point for it mostly, Undetectable was necessary for certain killers that relied entirely on stealth, I still think spine chill should work against them maybe at a shorter distance but Object of obsession vs Ghostface or Wraith was punishing.

Spine Chill and Premonition are not affected by these status effects. They will still work the same way they do now.

  • Sloppy Butcher isnt useless in Dream World. :P

Monster Hunter World! The story is shallow, but the fights are intense and the victories are glorious!

Solo is great! Working with others has always been a positive, cooperative experience as well. The community doesn’t seem to suffer from toxicity. If it does, it’s minor and I haven’t seen it!

Same here. Ive been having a blast with MHW lately with a friend. Winning fights is so satisfying and fun, and sometimes it will be cheap shots that make you fail it.

    Of course not.

    Yes

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/689791#Comment_689791

Only if they have it active from beforehand. And even then, it's far from game changing. It would be a better idea to just not let them get the extra hit in the first place.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/689808#Comment_689808

Similar story. This can ONLY happen if a killer got ran around for 60 seconds earlier in the game, and then never hit that survivor again throughout the entire game. If this happens, the killer deserves to be punished.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/689904#Comment_689904

1.) This would not work against one shots off of hook, as you would technically be downed before the timer ends. So killers like Bubba or Billy could still camp hooks and ignore Mettle of Man.

2.) There's also the flip side of the second point. Yes, you could get a phenomenal setup where it's very easy to get ran around for 60 seconds. You could also be set in the middle of a dead zone. It really depends. Again, high risk, but high reward.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/690037#Comment_690037

I thought about this idea as well. And while I do think that's a good basic fix, it still doesn't solve many of the problems that the perk has (Needs entire builds/playstyles based around the perk to get any utility, for example.). If this idea doesn't get implemented, this is one that I would like to see put in instead. But I still think that mine is more interesting.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/690169#Comment_690169

It's not trash, you're right. With the right circumstances, it can be a phenomenal tool. But getting those right circumstances to fall into place is a hassle, and in order to set them up, you need to sacrifice doing other important things (Objective). Mettle of Man is the same way in its current state.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/690224#Comment_690224

    ^What this guy said.

I'll keep responding to comments as they come along, but I do want to highlight that this change does NOT guarantee a free save in EGC. In fact, its utility is probably the lowest in the endgame, when most safe pallets are gone and you are more likely to be downed sooner. Now, if the savior has Mettle of Man ready to tank a hit, that might be a different story. But in order for that to happen, they must have taken a protection hit earlier in the game, get chased for 60 seconds, and then not get hit for the rest of the game. This is a pretty hefty gamble, and it's what I love about this change. It's high-risk, high-reward in a really healthy way. No tricks, no crutches. It requires skill to get this perk to work out, but when it does, you will have as much potential as you could ask for on your shoulders.

I think a lot of misconceptions are circling around this change would work, but I'm always here to answer any questions you all may have. Feel free to leave a comment!

You couldnt be more wrong about Autodidact. You are right that with the current version of MoM you lose time. But Autodidact focuses on healing and gaining health states, not losing them. Healing others is not wasting time at all. You only lose progress for the first two tokens, and the second one is negligible. Healing oneself with SC I with Sloppy Butcher, thats wasting time.

  • It was a bad start when you talked down on Autodidact. Its not perfect, but nowhere near trash.

  • I dont mind wiggling, lack of more settings or Shrine.

All others, especially the grabs and struggling on hook, I agree with.

  • @Attackfrog said:

Regarding demogorgon: remember when spirits came out? Everyone said she was garbage tier....

    And now...

She was garbage tier upon release. Maybe not that garbage, but certainly wasted potential. Then after a few weeks she got buffed upping her power.

  • I am salty you put Clown so low. Doc suffers a lot more than him. I would say he is on par with Trapper, if not better.

Legion isnt underrated, they are overrated by you. They get so much information, sure. But what do they do with it? The same as any other low tier killer, if not worse, because their power is useless for anything else.

  • I have Adept Billy, Hag, LF, Freddy, Pig, Clown, Spirit and Plague. LF, Spirit and Freddy were before the changed requirements, but Im pretty sure I would have double pipped anyway. Adept Plague, I got it on my first try, but only because I knew about Plague's power going against the conditions of pipping. Hag's and Hillbilly's took me a bit more time, mainly because I dont play them. Pig was also on my first try, and I was actually surprised how I double pipped.

Adept Trapper is the one Im trying for right now, but I always get stuck with Brutal Killer. I would like to try others like Adept Doctor or Legion once they get reworked. Getting Adept Nurse is highly unlikely for me.

As for Survivors, I have all except for Adept Dwight (still level 1), Bill (level 1 as well), Jeff (farming to unlock him) and Jane (unlocking her after Jeff). Laurie, Myers, GF and Ash can go suck it, because I dont own them and dont plan on getting them.

  • I dont see the reason why nearby Survivors should reduce the countdown speed. If it is to compensate for the fact that completed generators while having an active RBT decreases the countdown, that is way too forgiving for a measly 5s loss per generator.

  • Wretched Shop, Ironworks of Misery and Rancid Abatoir sure have very nasty loops. But Haddonfield is still worse because its nasty loop next to a nasty loop next to another nasty loop. At least the others are only in a certain spot of the map. Thats not to mention the several safe generators.

  • I think you should be able to see the infection level of survivors anyway.

  • Probably not all Killers, but I would like at least 4 like last year. The ones missing it are Nurse, Hag, Clown, Spirit, Legion and Plague. Preferably the older Killers getting theirs first, making it an annual tradition and the first collection shared among all characters.

  • Considering there are now two other Killers with Killer Instinct integrated to their power, I would hardly call it "unique".

  • The only beast-like Killer I want is Xenomorph, really. My life would be complete.
